Abstract

The invention provides a fan device and a fan assembly thereof. The fan device comprises a transfer frame and at least one fan component. The adapting frame is provided with at least one fan setting space and at least one buckle structure. The fan assembly is detachably arranged in at least one fan arrangement space and comprises a first fan frame, a second fan frame and a fan unit. The first fan frame is provided with an elastic clamping hook which is connected with the clamping structure in a clamping way when the fan component is arranged in the fan arrangement space. The second fan frame is used for being connected with the first fan frame in a combined mode. The fan unit is fixed between the first fan frame and the second fan frame. The invention can increase the convenience of the server in the operations of assembly, maintenance and the like by the design of convenient disassembly of the fan assembly.

Fan device and fan assembly thereof
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a fan assembly and a fan device using the same, and more particularly, to a fan assembly and a fan device using an elastic hook to detachably mount the fan device to an adapter frame.
Background
Generally, a fan is usually disposed inside the server to cool the electronic components inside, however, because the specifications of the server are different, the fan modules with special specifications are often customized according to different specifications, which results in high manufacturing cost of the server.
In addition, when the server needs to be repaired or the fan module needs to be replaced, the whole fan module needs to be detached from the server, which is very inconvenient.
Disclosure of Invention
In view of the above, in the prior art, in order to install fan modules in servers with different specifications or configurations, it is often necessary to manufacture fan modules with special specifications, which results in increased manufacturing cost of the servers and also causes a problem that maintenance or replacement is not easy. Therefore, the present invention is directed to a fan device and a fan assembly thereof, which can allow a user to easily replace fan units with different specifications according to different requirements.
To achieve the above and other related objects, a first aspect of the present invention provides a fan apparatus, comprising: the adapter frame is provided with at least one fan setting space and at least one buckle structure; and at least one fan assembly detachably disposed in the at least one fan disposition space, and including: the first fan frame is provided with an elastic clamping hook, and the elastic clamping hook is in clamping connection with the clamping structure when the at least one fan assembly is arranged in the at least one fan arrangement space; a second fan frame for connecting to the first fan frame; and a fan unit fixed between the first fan frame and the second fan frame.
In an embodiment of the first aspect, the fan unit further includes a fan bracket and a fan assembly, the fan bracket is fixedly assembled between the first fan frame and the second fan frame, and the fan unit is disposed on the fan bracket.

Detailed Description
Referring to fig. 1 to 4, fig. 1 is a perspective view illustrating a fan device according to a preferred embodiment of the invention. Fig. 2 is an exploded perspective view of a fan device according to a preferred embodiment of the invention. Fig. 3 is an exploded perspective view of a fan assembly according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention. Fig. 4 is an exploded perspective view of another perspective of the fan assembly according to the preferred embodiment of the invention.
As shown in fig. 1 to 4, a fan apparatus 100 includes an adapter frame 1 and four fan assemblies 2 (only one is labeled). The adaptor frame 1 includes a front frame 11, a back frame 12, two side frames 13 (only one is shown in the figure), and three partition plates 14 (only one is shown in the figure). The two side frames 13 are respectively connected to two ends of the front frame 11 and the back frame 12, and the three partition plates 14 are uniformly distributed between the two side frames 13 to form four fan installation spaces S (only one is labeled in the figure) with the front frame 11, the back frame 12 and the two side frames 13. In addition, taking the side frame 13 as an example, the side frame 13 is further provided with a locking structure 131 (shown in fig. 7), and the three partition plates 14 are also respectively provided with a locking structure (not shown).
The fan assembly 2 is detachably disposed in the fan installation space S, and the fan assembly 2 includes a first fan frame 21, a second fan frame 22 and a fan unit 23.
The first fan frame 21 includes a first rack body 211, a top frame 212, a first side frame 213 and a second side frame 214. The first rack body 211 is provided with mesh-shaped through holes, and the first rack body 211 further has four first positioning posts 2111 (only one is indicated in the figure) and two elastic arm inversions 2112 (only one is indicated in the figure), the four first positioning posts 2111 are respectively integrally formed at four corners of the inner side of the first rack body 211, and the two elastic arm inversions 2112 are arranged at the lower edge of the first rack body 211.
The top frame 212 is integrally connected to the top end of the first rack body 211 and has two guiding structures 2121 (only one is labeled in the figure), and the two guiding structures 2121 are disposed at the edge of the top frame 212.
The first side frame 213 and the second side frame 214 are integrally connected to two sides of the first rack body 211, and the first side frame 213 further has an extending elastic piece portion 2131, an elastic hook 2132, a locking hole 2133, and two elastic arm reverse buckles 2134 (only one is labeled in the figure). The extending elastic piece portion 2131 is formed by bending and extending from the edge of the first side frame 213 toward the top frame 212, and is disconnected from the top frame 212 to form a free end, thereby achieving the function of elastic deformation. The elastic hook 2132 is integrally formed and protrudes outward from the surface of the extending elastic sheet portion 2131. The locking hole 2133 penetrates both the inner and outer surfaces of the first side frame 213. The two elastic arm inverted buckles 2134 are formed by extending from the edge of the first side frame 213 toward the second fan frame 22 and are located at two sides of the clip hole 2133.
As mentioned above, the second side frame 214 further has two elastic arm reverse buckles 2141 (only one is labeled in the figure) and a clamping hole 2142. The two resilient arm inversions 2141 are formed by extending from the edge of the second side frame 214 toward the second fan frame 22, and the fastening hole 2142 penetrates through the inner and outer surfaces of the second side frame 214 and is located between the two resilient arm inversions 2141.
The second fan frame 22 includes a second rack body 221, a bottom frame 222 and an auxiliary fixing piece 223. The second rack body 221 is used to assemble the top frame 212, the first side frame 213 and the second side frame 214, and the second rack body 221 has four second positioning posts 2211 (only one post is shown), a first side elastic arm reverse 2212 and a second side elastic arm reverse 2213.
The four second positioning columns 2211 are integrally formed at four corners of the inner side of the second rack body 221. The first side resilient arm bar 2212 is formed by extending from the edge of the second rack body 221 toward the first fan frame 21, and the first side resilient arm bar 2212 is used for snap-fit connection to the snap hole 2133. The second side resilient arm inverted buckle 2213 is formed by extending from the edge of the second rack body 221 toward the first fan frame 21, and the second side resilient arm inverted buckle 2213 is used for being fastened to the fastening hole 2142.
The bottom frame 222 is integrally connected to the bottom end of the second rack body 221, and has two engaging holes 2222 (only one is shown in the figure), the two engaging holes 2222 correspond to the two elastic arms inverted 2112, respectively, so that the bottom frame 222 is assembled to the bottom end of the first rack body 211.
The auxiliary fixing plate 223 is formed by extending from the upper edge of the second rack body 221 toward the first fan frame 21 in an integrally molded manner, and the auxiliary fixing plate 223 further has two elastic arm inversions 2231 (only one of which is labeled in the figure), and the two elastic arm inversions 2231 are used for being snapped and connected to an inner slot (not shown) of the top frame 212.
Referring to fig. 5, fig. 5 is a schematic exploded view of a fan unit according to a preferred embodiment of the invention. The fan unit 23 includes a fan bracket 231, a fan assembly 232, and eight pin sleeves 233 (only one is shown). The fan bracket 231 includes four sides 2311, 2312, 2313 and 2314, and the four sides 2311, 2312, 2313 and 2314 are connected to each other to form eight end corners 2315 (only one is shown in the figure).
The eight nail sleeves 233 are respectively disposed at the eight end corners 2315, so that when the first fan frame 21 and the second fan frame 22 clamp the fan unit 23 therebetween for mutual assembly, the four first positioning posts 2111 and the four second positioning posts 2211 are respectively and correspondingly inserted into the hole slots (not shown) of the eight nail sleeves 233, so that the first fan frame 21 and the second fan frame 22 are respectively assembled at two sides of the fan unit 23, and the fan unit 23 is further fixed between the first fan frame 21 and the second fan frame 22. In practical applications, the nail sleeve 233 is made of plastic, and can effectively cover the first positioning post 2111 or the second positioning post 2211 through the elasticity of the plastic itself, so that the fan unit 23 is fixed between the first fan frame 21 and the second fan frame 22, and vibration generated during the operation of the fan assembly 232 can be effectively prevented from being transmitted to the first fan frame 21 and the second fan frame 22.
In addition, since the bottom frame 222 further defines a connector setting hole 2221, the connector of the fan assembly 232 can pass through the connector setting hole 2221 to be connected to the power supply module.
With continued reference to fig. 6 and 7, fig. 6 is a cross-sectional view taken along line a-a of fig. 1. Fig. 7 is an enlarged view of circle B in fig. 6. As shown in fig. 1 to 7, when the fan assembly 2 is placed in the fan installation space S of the adapting frame 1, the elastic hook 2132 of the first side frame 213 will push against the fastening structure 131 first, because the elastic hook 2132 and the fastening structure 131 are both connected by one end and the other end is free to generate elasticity, when the elastic hook 2132 pushes against the fastening structure 131, both will elastically deform reversely, and after the elastic hook 2132 slides over the fastening structure 131, the pushing relation between the two will be released, so that both will elastically recover to the original positions, and at this time, the elastic hook 2132 will be fastened by the fastening structure 131, thereby effectively fixing the fan assembly 2 in the fan installation space S.
In addition, when the user wants to detach the fan assembly 2 from the fan installation space S for maintenance or replacement of different specifications, the user only needs to pull the elastic hook 2132 in a direction away from the fastening structure 131, so that the fastening relationship between the elastic hook 2132 and the fastening structure 131 can be released, and the fan assembly 2 can be detached conveniently, thereby facilitating subsequent maintenance or replacement. Further, after removing the fan assembly 2, the user can further separate the first fan frame 21 from the second fan frame 22 to replace the fan unit 23 of another specification. It should be noted that, when the fan assembly 2 of the present invention is assembled to the adaptor frame 1 or disassembled from the adaptor frame 1, it is very convenient to use any assembling tool without using any assembling tool by the cooperation of the elastic hook and the fastening structure 131.
