In step C10, after the step of binding the remote controller with the target application corresponding to the target split-screen area through the binding focus instruction, the method for controlling a display device further includes:
and D10, when a unbinding focus instruction is received, unbinding the remote controller from the target application corresponding to the target split screen area through the unbinding focus instruction of the remote controller.
In this embodiment, it should be noted that the unbind focus instruction is an operation instruction for performing contact binding on the focus of the remote controller and a target application corresponding to the current split-screen area through the remote controller, and the unbind focus instruction may be a confirmation key of the remote controller being pressed, or a confirmation key and an up key of the remote controller being pressed simultaneously.
Illustratively, step D10 includes: and when a unbinding focus instruction is received, the remote controller and the target application corresponding to the target split screen area are unbound by pressing a key of the remote controller corresponding to the unbinding focus instruction.
The focal point of the remote controller and the target split screen area are bound and unbound, so that the remote control operation instruction can accurately correspond to the target application, the condition of operation disorder is avoided when the target application is carried out, and the accuracy of remote control operation is improved.
Compared with the method for pre-installing a small amount of hot applications in display equipment adopted in the prior art, the method for controlling the display equipment determines the application control instruction corresponding to the remote control instruction according to the preset configuration file when the display equipment receives the remote control instruction of the matched remote controller, wherein the preset configuration file comprises the incidence relation between the remote control instruction and the application control instruction; detecting whether the display equipment has a target application corresponding to the application control instruction; if yes, controlling the display equipment to start the target application; if not, controlling the display equipment to install the target application, and after detecting that the target application is installed, controlling the display equipment to start the target application; the application interface of the target application is displayed in the display area of the display device, the display device is controlled to open the target application through a remote controller control instruction and further judgment of application pre-installation, rapid installation and target application opening are achieved, the technical defect that when a small amount of hot applications are pre-installed in the display device, a user needs to install the application by himself and search the installed application by himself to open the application is avoided, and therefore the efficiency of the display device for opening the application and user experience are improved.
