Description
The application is a divisional application taking patent application with application number of 201911149781.X, application date of 2019, 11 and 21 as well as name of 'a double-gate panel display method' as a parent application.
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of panel display, in particular to a brightness adjusting method of a double-gate panel.
Background
Cell phone manufacturers have successively released full-screen cell phones, which require the lower bezel of the cell phone panel to be narrowed. Compared with a single-gate panel, the number of data wires of the double-gate panel is reduced to half of the original number, so that the area of a data line wiring area (fan-out area) of the panel is smaller; the effect that the lower frame of the panel becomes narrow is achieved, and finally the full-face screen is achieved.
However, the dual-gate panel still has the problem of poor display, the dual-gate panel displays double row inversion, i.e. the liquid crystal polarity is two rows positive and two rows negative, compared with the single-gate panel which displays single row inversion, the dual-gate panel displays each frame with lower spatial frequency, and human eyes are more sensitive to low frequency, and the liquid crystal polarity has brightness difference between positive and negative. Human eyes watch the picture integrally, generally integrate the time of two frames (default 60Hz display), and only see the picture of one frame when shaking the head to watch the pure color picture of the double-grid panel, so the straight grain phenomenon can be seen; when the panel is watched without shaking the head, the positive and negative polarities of the liquid crystal are continuously reversed, and the straight stripe phenomenon disappears when the integral of two or more frames with the positive liquid crystal polarity and the negative liquid crystal polarity is observed.
Disclosure of Invention
The technical problem to be solved by the invention is as follows: a display method capable of improving the straight-line phenomenon of a dual-gate panel is provided.
In order to solve the technical problems, the invention adopts the technical scheme that:
a double-gate panel brightness adjusting method comprises the following steps:
a double-gate panel brightness adjusting method is characterized by comprising the following steps:
s1, adjusting the gray-scale values of all pixels in the double-gate panel;
s2, controlling the double-gate panel to input high level and collecting the brightness values of all pixel points in the double-gate panel;
and S3, judging whether the picture is a high-frequency picture according to the brightness values of all the pixel points, and if not, repeatedly executing the steps S1-S2 until the picture is judged to be the high-frequency picture.
The invention has the beneficial effects that: the gray-scale values of all pixels in the double-gate panel are adjusted, so that when the double-gate panel is in a lighting state (namely, a high level is input), the brightness values of adjacent pixel points with the same polarity are unequal, and at the moment, when the double-gate panel displays a pure-color picture or a gray-scale picture, the panel is not a low-frequency picture in space any more but a high-frequency picture, so that the straight-line phenomenon of the double-gate panel disappears. The display method designed by the scheme can solve the straight grain phenomenon of the double-gate panel without changing the panel design, reduces the manufacturing process difficulty and improves the quality of the panel.

Detailed Description
In order to explain technical contents, achieved objects, and effects of the present invention in detail, the following description is made with reference to the accompanying drawings in combination with the embodiments.
Referring to fig. 1, the technical solution provided by the present invention is:
a double-gate panel display method comprises the following steps:
s1, adjusting the gray-scale values of all the pixel points in the double-gate panel to obtain the adjusted gray-scale value corresponding to each pixel point;
s2, comparing the adjusted gray scale value corresponding to each pixel point obtained in the step S1 with a preset gray scale reference value respectively to obtain a difference value corresponding to each pixel point;
s3, judging whether the difference value corresponding to each pixel point obtained in the step S2 is within a preset gray scale change threshold value;
s4, if yes, controlling the double-gate panel to input high level and collecting the brightness values of all pixel points in the double-gate panel;
s5, judging whether the brightness values of all the adjacent pixel points with the same polarity acquired in the step S4 are equal or not;
s6, if yes, repeating the steps S1-S5, and executing a step S7 when the brightness values of all the adjacent pixels with the same polarity, which are acquired in the step S4, are not equal;
and S7, controlling the double-grid panel to input low level.
From the above description, the beneficial effects of the present invention are:
the gray-scale values of all pixels in the double-gate panel are adjusted, so that when the double-gate panel is in a lighting state (namely, a high level is input), the brightness values of adjacent pixel points with the same polarity are unequal, and at the moment, when the double-gate panel displays a pure-color picture or a gray-scale picture, the panel is not a low-frequency picture in space any more but a high-frequency picture, so that the straight-line phenomenon of the double-gate panel disappears. The display method designed by the scheme can solve the straight grain phenomenon of the double-gate panel without changing the panel design, reduces the manufacturing process difficulty and improves the quality of the panel.
Further, step S1 is specifically:
increasing the gray-scale values of the pixel points of the pixel units positioned in odd-numbered rows and odd-numbered columns in more than two pixel unit groups in the double-gate panel and the gray-scale values of the pixel points of the pixel units positioned in even-numbered rows and even-numbered columns to obtain the adjusted gray-scale value corresponding to each pixel point;
the gray-scale values of the pixel points positioned in the odd-numbered rows and the even-numbered columns in the pixel unit groups of more than two pixel units in the double-gate panel are kept unchanged.
As can be seen from the above description, by increasing the gray scale values of the pixel points of the pixel units located in the odd-numbered rows and the odd-numbered columns in the two or more pixel unit groups in the dual-gate panel and the gray scale values of the pixel points of the pixel units located in the even-numbered rows and the even-numbered columns, the display quality of the panel can be further effectively improved, so that the straight stripe phenomenon disappears.
Further, step S1 is specifically:
reducing the gray-scale values of the pixel points of the pixel units positioned in odd-numbered rows and odd-numbered columns in more than two pixel unit groups in the double-gate panel and the gray-scale values of the pixel points of the pixel units positioned in even-numbered rows and even-numbered columns to obtain the adjusted gray-scale value corresponding to each pixel point;
the gray-scale values of the pixel points positioned in the odd-numbered rows and the even-numbered columns in the pixel unit groups of more than two pixel units in the double-gate panel are kept unchanged.
Furthermore, the gray scale value of the pixel point of each pixel unit group has the same change, and more than two pixel unit groups are distributed in an array;
one pixel unit group includes four pixel units and constitutes an arrangement structure with a column number of 2 and a row number of 2.
Further, step S1 is specifically:
increasing the gray-scale values of the pixel points of the pixel units of the N th row and the N +1 th row in the pixel units of the odd-numbered columns in more than two pixel unit groups in the double-gate panel and the gray-scale values of the pixel points of the pixel units of the N +2 th row and the N +3 th row in the pixel units of the even-numbered columns to obtain the adjusted gray-scale value corresponding to each pixel point; n is a row number variable and N is a positive integer;
the gray-scale values of the pixel points of the pixel units positioned in other rows and columns in more than two pixel unit groups in the double-gate panel are kept unchanged.
From the above description, it can be known that increasing the gray scale values of the pixel points of the pixel units in the nth row and the N +1 th row of the pixel units in the odd-numbered columns in the two or more pixel unit groups in the dual-gate panel and the gray scale values of the pixel points of the pixel units in the N +2 th row and the N +3 th row of the pixel units in the even-numbered columns can effectively improve the display quality of the panel, so that the straight stripe phenomenon disappears.
Further, step S1 is specifically:
reducing the gray-scale values of the pixel points of the pixel units of the N-th row and the N + 1-th row in the pixel units of the odd-numbered columns in more than two pixel unit groups in the double-gate panel and the gray-scale values of the pixel points of the pixel units of the N + 2-th row and the N + 3-th row in the pixel units of the even-numbered columns to obtain the adjusted gray-scale value corresponding to each pixel point; n is a row number variable and N is a positive integer;
the gray-scale values of the pixel points of the pixel units positioned in other rows and columns in more than two pixel unit groups in the double-gate panel are kept unchanged.
Furthermore, the gray scale value of the pixel point of each pixel unit group has the same change, and more than two pixel unit groups are distributed in an array;

s3, judging whether the difference value corresponding to each pixel point obtained in the step S2 is within a preset gray scale change threshold value;
s4, if yes, controlling the double-gate panel to input high level and collecting the brightness values of all pixel points in the double-gate panel;
s5, judging whether the brightness values of all the adjacent pixel points with the same polarity acquired in the step S4 are equal or not;
s6, if yes, repeating the steps S1-S5, and executing a step S7 when the brightness values of all the adjacent pixels with the same polarity, which are acquired in the step S4, are not equal;

In summary, according to the dual-gate panel display method provided by the present invention, the gray-scale values of all pixels in the dual-gate panel are adjusted, so that when the dual-gate panel is in a lighting state (i.e. a high level is input), the brightness values of the adjacent pixels with the same polarity are not equal, and at this time, when the dual-gate panel displays a pure color picture or a gray-scale picture, the panel is not a low-frequency picture but a high-frequency picture, so that the straight-line phenomenon of the dual-gate panel disappears. The display method designed by the scheme can solve the straight grain phenomenon of the double-gate panel without changing the panel design, reduces the manufacturing process difficulty and improves the quality of the panel.
