Description

Wireless perception measurement process management method, device, equipment and storage medium
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of wireless communications, and in particular, to a method, an apparatus, a device, and a storage medium for managing a wireless sensing measurement process.
Background
Wi-Fi sensing technology is a new technology that can use existing Wi-Fi signals to perform motion detection, gesture recognition, and biometric measurements based on existing Wi-Fi networks and devices. In Wi-Fi sensing, changes in the environment caused by movements of objects, pets, and people are detected by using CSI (channel state information) based or Radar (Radar) based means without requiring the detected object to wear any device.
Through implementation of Wi-Fi sending, more intelligent and richer applications can be provided in the fields of intelligent home, intrusion detection, medical care, intelligent remote nursing and the like.
Disclosure of Invention
In the wireless sensing service, a wireless sensing measurement process is established between an initiator and a responder, and the process is managed through a measurement process identifier, wherein the management mode is that a specific measurement process is identified by using the MAC address of the initiator and the measurement process identifier together, and the initiator and the responder can instruct the other party to terminate the measurement process through a measurement process termination message. However, the existing measurement process termination message only includes the identification of the measurement process, and the initiator of one wireless sensing service may be the responder of another wireless sensing service at the same time, and likewise, the responder of one wireless sensing service may also be the initiator of another wireless sensing service, thereby possibly causing that a plurality of measurement processes with the same identification are maintained on one device, and merely indicating to terminate one measurement process by the identification of the measurement process may cause that the receiver does not know which one or all of the measurement processes are terminated, so that the erroneous termination of the measurement process which should not be terminated may not be continued, thereby affecting the wireless sensing service corresponding to the measurement process. If the MAC address of the initiator is added to the measurement process termination message, although the above problem can be solved, one MAC address needs 48 bits, which results in a large message body, occupies more radio resources, and has a higher packet error rate for large packets. In view of the above, the present invention provides a method, apparatus, device and storage medium for managing a wireless sensing measurement process.

In a possible implementation manner, the receiving party of the measurement process termination message is an access point, and the access point stores first measurement process information, wherein the first measurement process information comprises a wireless perception initiator address, a measurement process identifier and a measurement configuration parameter;

Fig. 1 is a schematic structural diagram of a communication system according to an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 1, the communication system includes an access point AP, a first terminal STA1, and a second terminal STA2, wherein the first terminal STA1 and the second terminal STA2 are both connected to the access point AP. It should be understood that fig. 1 is only a schematic architecture of a communication system, and the number, types, etc. of devices in the communication system are not limited in the embodiment of the present invention. Those skilled in the art will appreciate that the term "Access Point (AP)" in accordance with the principles and functions described herein may also be used to describe an access port or any other device capable of receiving and transmitting wireless signals within a network architecture, and thus, the use of an access point is merely exemplary.
In the communication system shown in fig. 1, a wireless sensing measurement procedure is established between an access point AP and a first terminal STA 1. It should be noted that the access point AP and/or the first terminal STA1 may also establish a wireless sensing measurement procedure with other devices (such as STA 2). The establishment of the wireless sensing measurement process may refer to the existing related technology, and it is assumed that two wireless sensing services, namely, a wireless sensing service 1 and a wireless sensing service 2, are included between the access point AP and the first terminal STA1, and the establishment process of the measurement processes of the two wireless sensing services is exemplarily introduced, where in the wireless sensing service 1, the AP is a wireless sensing initiator, and the STA1 is a wireless sensing responder; in the wireless awareness service 2, STA1 is a wireless awareness initiator and AP is a wireless awareness responder.
1001. STA1 sends a connection request message (e.g., association request message) to the AP requesting to establish a connection with the AP.
1002. The AP sends a connection response message (e.g., association response message) to STA1 indicating whether or not to agree to establish a connection, the following parameters may be included in the connection response message:
status code: for indicating whether to agree to establish a connection, the embodiment is set as SUCCESS, which indicates that the AP agrees to establish a connection;
AID: for indicating the connection identity assigned by the AP for STA1.
1003. After receiving the connection response message, STA1 saves parameters related to the AP in the message, such as the MAC address of the AP or the BSSID (basic service set identifier), where the value of the BSSID may be set to the MAC address of the AP.
1004. The AP sends a measurement procedure setup request message (e.g., sensing measurement setup request message) to STA1. Illustratively, the request message includes the following parameters:
TA: message sender address, the embodiment of the invention is the address of the AP;
RA: the address of the message receiver, which is the address of the STA1 in the embodiment of the invention;
measurement setup ID: measuring a process identifier, wherein the embodiment of the invention is set to be 1;
measurement profile: measurement configuration parameters, such as role settings, report types, etc., are a set of parameters, an embodiment of the present invention is denoted by Measurement profile 1.
1005. After receiving the measurement process establishment request message, STA1 locally saves measurement configuration parameters related to the measurement process if agreeing to establish the measurement process, uses the AP as a wireless sense initiator, and uses (initiator address=address of AP, measurement setup ID =1) to identify the measurement process and associate the measurement configuration parameters.
STA1 sends a measurement procedure setup response message (e.g., sensing measurement setup response message) to the AP, where the message includes a parameter status code and its value is set to SUCCESS, indicating that the measurement procedure is agreed to be set up. Illustratively, the response message includes the following parameters:
TA: message sender address, the embodiment of the invention is the address of STA 1;
RA: the address of the message receiver, which is the address of the AP in the embodiment of the invention;
measurement setup ID: measuring a process identifier;
status code: the response status to the request message indicates whether to agree to establish the measurement procedure, and the embodiment of the invention is set as SUCCESS, which indicates that to agree to establish the measurement procedure.
STA1 may reject or suggest other measurement configuration parameters, in which case STA1 does not locally save the measurement process related parameters, and does not use (initiator address, measurement setup ID) to identify the measurement process, and may also send a measurement process setup response message to the AP, where the message includes a parameter status code, and sets its value to be reflow or Refuse but suggest alternative profile, indicating that the measurement process is rejected to be set up, or that the measurement configuration parameters provided by the other party are rejected but parameters that can be received are suggested, which so far, the following steps of the embodiment of the present invention are only for the case of agreeing to set up the measurement process.
1006. After receiving the measurement process setup response message, the AP locally saves the measurement configuration parameters related to the measurement process if the status code value in the message is SUCCESS, takes itself as the initiator, and uses (initiator address=own address, measurement setup ID =1) to identify the measurement process and associate the measurement configuration parameters.
1007. STA1 sends a measurement procedure setup request message (e.g., sensing measurement setup request message) to the AP. Illustratively, the request message includes the following parameters:
TA: message sender address, the embodiment of the invention is STA1 address;
RA: the address of the message receiver, which is the address of the AP in the embodiment of the invention;
measurement setup ID: measuring a process identifier, wherein the embodiment of the invention is set to be 1;
measurement profile: measurement configuration parameters, such as role settings, report types, etc., are a set of parameters, and embodiments of the present invention are denoted by Measurement profile 2.
1008. After receiving the measurement process establishment request message, the AP locally saves measurement configuration parameters related to the measurement process if agreeing to establish the measurement process, takes the sender of the request message as the wireless sensing service initiator, and uses (initiator address=address of STA1, measurement setup ID =1) to identify the measurement process and associate the measurement configuration parameters.
The AP sends a measurement procedure setup response message (e.g., sensing measurement setup response message) to STA1, which includes a parameter status code, and sets its value to SUCCESS, indicating that the measurement procedure is agreed to be set up. Illustratively, the response message includes the following parameters:
TA: message sender address, the embodiment of the invention is the address of the AP;
RA: the address of the message receiver, which is the address of the STA1 in the embodiment of the invention;
measurement setup ID: measuring a process identifier;
status code: the response status to the request message indicates whether to agree to establish the measurement procedure, and the embodiment of the invention is set as SUCCESS, which indicates that to agree to establish the measurement procedure.
1009. After receiving the measurement process setup response message, if the status code value in the message is SUCCESS, the STA1 locally saves the measurement configuration parameter related to the measurement process, takes itself as the initiator, and uses (initiator address=own address, measurement setup ID =1) to identify the measurement process and associate the measurement configuration parameter.
At this time, the measurement progress information held by the AP and STA1 is shown in, for example, table 1 and table 2, respectively.

In the prior art, it is possible for both the AP and STA1 to send a measurement procedure termination message to the other party, and it is impossible to determine which measurement procedure needs to be terminated based on the information of Measurement setup ID and TA in the message. Fig. 2 is a flowchart of a method for managing a wireless sensing measurement process according to an embodiment of the present invention, where the AP initiates a wireless sensing measurement process termination instruction.
In some embodiments, assuming that the AP wants to terminate itself as a measurement process of wireless awareness initiator and the measurement process identity is 1, the wireless awareness measurement process management method includes the following:
2001. the AP sends a measurement process termination message (e.g., measurement setup termination message) to STA1, where the measurement process termination message includes a message sender address, a message receiver address, a measurement type, and a measurement process identifier. Illustratively, the measurement process termination message contains the following parameters:
TA: message sender address, in this embodiment the address of the AP.
RA: the message receiver address, in this embodiment, the address of STA 1.
Action type: the message type, such as set to "measurement setup termination", is indicated as a measurement process termination message for instructing STA1 to terminate the measurement process.
Measurement instance: a measurement type, such as set to TB, denoted as trigger-based measurement; set to non-TB, denoted as a non-trigger based measurement, the present embodiment is set to TB.
The measurement procedure is typically performed using a trigger-based measurement type when the AP is the wireless sense initiator and is performed using a non-trigger-based measurement type when the terminal is the wireless sense initiator.
Measurement setup ID: the process identity is measured and this embodiment is set to 1. It should be noted that the measurement process identifier may be one or more. Alternatively, it may also indicate whether to terminate all the ongoing measurement processes by the parameter, e.g. 4 bits in total, and the value of the parameter may be set to 15, indicating to terminate all the ongoing measurement processes, i.e. to terminate all the measurement processes established between the AP and STA1, or to terminate all the measurement processes corresponding to the AP as a wireless sense initiator.
The AP terminates the measurement process (AP, 1), and deletes the measurement process information corresponding to the measurement process, such as a measurement process identifier and measurement configuration parameters; or deleting the measurement process information corresponding to the measurement process and deleting the measurement result corresponding to the measurement process, or deleting the measurement process information corresponding to the measurement process and deleting the received measurement report corresponding to the measurement process.
2002. After receiving the measurement process termination message, the STA1 terminates the corresponding measurement process according to the information in the measurement process termination message.
Specifically, if the measurement process termination message indicates that the measurement type is based on the triggered measurement, the termination AP is used as a wireless sensing initiator and the measurement process corresponding to the measurement process identifier corresponding to the measurement type corresponding to the indication of the triggered measurement; if the measurement process termination message indicates that the measurement type is non-trigger-based measurement, the termination STA1 is used as a wireless sensing initiator and the measurement process corresponding to the measurement process identifier corresponding to the indication that the measurement type is non-trigger-based measurement.
For example, after receiving the measurement process termination message by the STA1, if the value of the parameter Measurement instance is TB, determining that the measurement type is based on triggered measurement, searching locally stored measurement process information according to the address of the connected access point stored by the STA1 or the values of BSSID and Measurement setup ID, or according to the value of TA and the value of Measurement setup ID, determining that the measurement process to be terminated is (AP, 1), terminating the measurement process, and deleting measurement process information corresponding to the measurement process, such as a measurement process identifier and a measurement configuration parameter; or deleting the measurement process information corresponding to the measurement process and deleting the measurement result corresponding to the measurement process, or deleting the measurement process information corresponding to the measurement process and deleting the received measurement report corresponding to the measurement process.
In some other embodiments, assuming that the AP wants to terminate STA1 as a measurement procedure with a measurement procedure identity of 1, the wireless-aware measurement procedure management method includes the following:
2011. the AP sends a measurement process termination message (e.g., measurement setup termination message) to STA1, where the measurement process termination message includes a message sender address, a message receiver address, a measurement type, and a measurement process identifier.
Measurement instance: a measurement type, such as set to TB, denoted as trigger-based measurement; set to non-TB, denoted as a non-trigger based measurement, the present embodiment is set to non-TB.
Measurement setup ID: the process identity is measured and this embodiment is set to 1. It should be noted that the measurement process identifier may be one or more. Alternatively, it may also indicate whether to terminate all the ongoing measurement processes by the parameter, e.g. 4 bits in total, and the value of the parameter may be set to 15, indicating to terminate all the ongoing measurement processes, i.e. to terminate all the measurement processes established between the AP and STA1, or to terminate all the measurement processes corresponding to STA1 as a radio aware initiator.
The AP terminates the measurement process (STA 1, 1), and deletes the measurement process information corresponding to the measurement process, such as a measurement process identifier and measurement configuration parameters; or deleting the measurement process information corresponding to the measurement process and deleting the measurement result corresponding to the measurement process, or deleting the measurement process information corresponding to the measurement process and deleting the received measurement report corresponding to the measurement process.
For example, after receiving the measurement process termination message, the STA1 determines that the measurement type is non-trigger-based measurement if the value of the parameter Measurement instance is non-TB, searches locally stored measurement process information according to the address of the STA1 itself and the value of Measurement setup ID, or according to the value of RA and the value of Measurement setup ID, determines that the measurement process to be terminated is (STA 1, 1), terminates the measurement process, and deletes measurement process information corresponding to the measurement process, such as a measurement process identifier and a measurement configuration parameter; or deleting the measurement process information corresponding to the measurement process and deleting the measurement result corresponding to the measurement process, or deleting the measurement process information corresponding to the measurement process and deleting the received measurement report corresponding to the measurement process.
Fig. 3 is a flowchart of another method for managing a wireless sensing measurement procedure according to an embodiment of the present invention, in which an instruction to terminate the wireless sensing measurement procedure is initiated by the STA 1.
In some embodiments, assuming STA1 wants to terminate the measurement process with AP as the wireless sense initiator and measurement process identification 1, the wireless sense measurement process management method includes the following:
3001. STA1 sends a measurement process termination message (e.g., measurement setup termination message) to the AP, where the measurement process termination message includes a message sender address, a message receiver address, a measurement type, and a measurement process identifier. Illustratively, the measurement process termination message contains the following parameters:
TA: message sender address, in this embodiment address of STA 1.
RA: message receiver address, in this embodiment the address of the AP.
Action type: the message type, such as set to "measurement setup termination", is indicated as a measurement process termination message for instructing the AP to terminate the measurement process.
Measurement instance: a measurement type, such as set to TB, denoted as trigger-based measurement; set to non-TB, denoted as a non-trigger based measurement, the present embodiment is set to TB.
The STA1 terminates the measurement process (AP, 1), and deletes measurement process information corresponding to the measurement process, such as a measurement process identifier and measurement configuration parameters; or deleting the measurement process information corresponding to the measurement process and deleting the measurement result corresponding to the measurement process, or deleting the measurement process information corresponding to the measurement process and deleting the received measurement report corresponding to the measurement process.
3002. And after receiving the measurement process termination message, the AP terminates the corresponding measurement process according to the information in the measurement process termination message.
For example, after receiving the measurement process termination message, if the value of the parameter Measurement instance is TB, the AP determines that the measurement type is based on triggered measurement, searches locally stored measurement process information according to the address of the AP itself and the value of Measurement setup ID, or according to the value of RA and the value of Measurement setup ID, determines that the measurement process to be terminated is (AP, 1), terminates the measurement process, and deletes measurement process information corresponding to the measurement process, such as a measurement process identifier and a measurement configuration parameter; or deleting the measurement process information corresponding to the measurement process and deleting the measurement result corresponding to the measurement process, or deleting the measurement process information corresponding to the measurement process and deleting the received measurement report corresponding to the measurement process.
In some other embodiments, assuming that STA1 wants to terminate itself as a measurement process of wireless awareness initiator and the measurement process identity is 1, the wireless awareness measurement process management method includes the following:
The STA1 terminates the measurement process (STA 1, 1), and deletes measurement process information corresponding to the measurement process, such as a measurement process identifier and measurement configuration parameters; or deleting the measurement process information corresponding to the measurement process and deleting the measurement result corresponding to the measurement process, or deleting the measurement process information corresponding to the measurement process and deleting the received measurement report corresponding to the measurement process.
3012. And after receiving the measurement process termination message, the AP terminates the corresponding measurement process according to the information in the measurement process termination message.
For example, after receiving the measurement process termination message, if the value of the parameter Measurement instance is non-TB, the AP determines that the measurement type is non-trigger-based measurement, searches locally stored measurement process information according to the value of TA and the value of Measurement setup ID, determines that the measurement process to be terminated is (STA 1, 1), terminates the measurement process, and deletes measurement process information corresponding to the measurement process, such as a measurement process identifier and a measurement configuration parameter; or deleting the measurement process information corresponding to the measurement process and deleting the measurement result corresponding to the measurement process, or deleting the measurement process information corresponding to the measurement process and deleting the received measurement report corresponding to the measurement process.
In some embodiments, the measurement process termination message further includes a delete mode, where the measurement process termination message includes the following parameters:
TA: message sender address.
RA: message recipient address.
Action type: the message type, e.g., set to "measurement setup termination", is indicated as a measurement process termination message.
Measurement instance: a measurement type, such as set to TB, denoted as trigger-based measurement; set to non-TB, denoted as a non-trigger based measurement.
Delete mode: a deletion mode indicating whether to terminate all ongoing measurement processes, if set to 1, indicating to terminate all measurement processes established between the AP and STA 1; setting to 0, terminating all measurement processes corresponding to the access point or the terminal as the wireless sensing initiator according to the parameter Measurement instance, for example, terminating all measurement processes corresponding to the AP as the wireless sensing initiator if the value of the parameter Measurement instance is TB, and terminating all measurement processes corresponding to the STA1 as the wireless sensing initiator if the value of the parameter Measurement instance is non-TB; set to 3, indicating termination of the partial measurement process, as determined by parameter Measurement setup ID.
Measurement setup ID: and measuring the process identification.
In some embodiments, the measurement process termination message includes one or more termination information elements, where the termination information elements include a measurement type and a measurement process identifier. Assume that a plurality of measurement procedures are established in both the wireless awareness service 1 and the wireless awareness service 2, so that an example of information locally maintained by the AP and the STA1 is shown in table 3.

Assuming that the AP wants to terminate itself as the initiator and the measurement process identified as 1 and 2 and to terminate STA1 as the initiator and the measurement process identified as 1, the measurement process termination message may contain the following parameters:
TA: message sender address, in this embodiment, address of AP;
RA: the message receiver address, in this embodiment, the address of STA 1;
action type: message type, set as Measurement setup termination in this embodiment;
termination element 1: a termination information element comprising parameters Measurement instance and Measurement setup ID, wherein the value of parameter Measurement instance is set to TB and Measurement setup ID is set to 1;
Termination element 2: a termination information element comprising parameters Measurement instance and Measurement setup ID, wherein the value of parameter Measurement instance is set to TB and Measurement setup ID is set to 2;
termination element 3: a termination information element comprising parameters Measurement instance and Measurement setup ID, wherein the value of parameter Measurement instance is set to non-TB and Measurement setup ID is set to 1.
After receiving the measurement process termination message, STA1 determines the measurement process to be terminated according to the value of parameter Measurement instance and the value of corresponding Measurement setup ID in each termination information element, and terminates the determined measurement process to be terminated.
Optionally, the measurement process termination message may further include the number of measurement processes to be terminated, for example, the measurement process termination message further includes a parameter Number of measurement to indicate the number of measurement processes to be terminated, which may be set according to the number of termination information elements, and if the measurement process termination message does not include a termination information element, which may be set according to the number of measurement process identifiers in the parameter Measurement setup ID.
Optionally, the measurement process information stored by the AP and STA1 may also include a wireless awareness responder address, for example, the measurement process information is shown in table 4.

When deleting the measurement process information, if the measurement process needing to be terminated has a responder except a message sender, the AP and the STA1 only delete the message sender address in the measurement process information corresponding to the measurement process needing to be terminated; otherwise, deleting all the measurement process information corresponding to the measurement process to be terminated. In a specific embodiment, it is assumed that in the wireless sensing service 1, besides STA1 being a responder, there is a second terminal STA2 in the wireless sensing responder, and at this time, the measurement process information stored by the AP is shown in table 5.

When the AP wants to terminate itself as a wireless sensing initiator, STA1 as a wireless sensing responder and the measurement process with the measurement process identifier 1, if there is STA2 as a measurement process of the wireless sensing responder when deleting the measurement process information, only deleting the address of STA1 in the responder address list corresponding to the measurement process (AP, 1), if after that, the AP wants to terminate itself as a wireless sensing initiator, STA2 as a wireless sensing responder and the measurement process with the measurement process identifier 1, and when deleting the measurement process information, deleting all the measurement process information corresponding to the measurement process, such as the identifier corresponding to the measurement process and the measurement configuration parameters.
