Description
Technical Field
The present invention relates to an absorbent article such as a light incontinence pad, a sanitary napkin, and a disposable diaper.
Background
Since absorbent articles such as light incontinence pads, sanitary napkins, and disposable diapers are worn for a long time while being in contact with the crotch of the wearer, it is required to quickly absorb excrement discharged from the wearer and to have excellent fit to the body of the wearer so as not to cause discomfort, and the like to the wearer.
In addition, in order to improve liquid absorption and fit, an absorbent article is known in which a groove portion or the like extending in a predetermined direction is formed in an absorbent body or an absorbent core.
For example, patent document 1 discloses an absorbent article having an absorbent core provided with a central region and side regions located at both side portions in a width direction thereof, the central region and the side regions being separated at least in a crotch region by side groove portions extending in a longitudinal direction of the absorbent core, the side regions having a plurality of intersecting groove portions extending in a direction intersecting the longitudinal direction of the absorbent core, each of the intersecting groove portions having a specific structure in which the intersecting groove portions intersect the longitudinal direction of the absorbent core at an angle such that an imaginary extension line of the intersecting groove portions extends toward the central portion of the absorbent core.
The absorbent article disclosed in patent document 1 has the side groove portions and the intersecting groove portions functioning as bending guide portions of the absorbent core when worn, and therefore the side regions are flexibly deformed to improve the fit to the body of the wearer.

Disclosure of Invention
Problems to be solved by the invention
However, in the absorbent article disclosed in patent document 1, since the fit during the movement of the wearer during walking or the like is not taken into consideration, and the intersecting groove portions that are close to the leg circumferences of the wearer do not extend to the widthwise edges of the absorbent body, and hence the absorbent article, may not sufficiently deform to follow the movement of the wearer during walking or the like (specifically, during the movement of applying a force to the absorbent article in a direction in which the absorbent article is twisted alternately in the left-right direction with the longitudinal direction as an axis), and the wearer may feel uncomfortable.
Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide an absorbent article which is less likely to cause discomfort to a wearer even during walking or other movements and which has excellent fit properties.
Means for solving the problems
One aspect (mode 1) of the present invention is an absorbent article including a front sheet forming a skin-facing surface, a back sheet forming a non-skin-facing surface, and an absorbent body located between the sheets, the absorbent article having a longitudinal direction, a width direction, and a thickness direction,
the absorbent body has, in plan view:
at least one pair of bending guide portions arranged symmetrically with respect to a widthwise center line extending in the longitudinal direction; and
at least one pair of concave portions located on the inner sides in the width direction of the pair of bending guide portions and arranged symmetrically with respect to the center line in the width direction, the at least one pair of concave portions extending in the longitudinal direction,
the pair of bending guide portions extend from the width direction end edge of the absorbent body toward the width direction inner side, and extend toward the length direction inner side as they extend toward the width direction inner side.
In the absorbent article of embodiment 1, the bending guide portion that functions as the bending base point of the absorber extends from the widthwise end edge of the absorber toward the widthwise inward side and extends toward the lengthwise inward side as it extends toward the widthwise inward side, so that the absorber and hence the absorbent article are likely to deform following the movement of the wearer during movement such as walking of the wearer (specifically, even when a force in a direction that twists the absorbent article alternately in the left-right direction about the lengthwise axis is applied thereto) (hereinafter, the action of such a bending guide portion is simply referred to as a "following deformation action"), and discomfort is unlikely to occur to the wearer.
In the absorbent article of embodiment 1, since the absorbent body has the pair of concave portions extending in the longitudinal direction at the positions on the inner side in the width direction of the folding guide portion, even if a force in a direction of twisting alternately in the left and right directions with the longitudinal direction as an axis is applied to the absorbent article via the folding guide portion during the operation of the wearer, the force can be dispersed by the pair of concave portions extending in the longitudinal direction, and portions on the inner side in the width direction than the pair of concave portions, that is, the widthwise central portion of the absorbent body can be made less likely to deform.
In this way, the absorbent article of embodiment 1 can bring the widthwise central portion of the absorber into close contact with the crotch portion of the wearer in addition to the above-described follow-up deformation action of the folding guide, and therefore can exhibit excellent fit even during the movement of the wearer.
As described above, the absorbent article according to embodiment 1 is less likely to cause discomfort to the wearer during walking or other movements, and can exhibit excellent fit.
In another aspect (aspect 2) of the present invention, the absorbent article according to aspect 1 is characterized in that,
the at least one pair of bending guide portions includes: a pair of bending guide portions located on one side in the longitudinal direction with respect to a longitudinal center line extending in the width direction; and a pair of bending guide portions located on the other side in the longitudinal direction,
the pair of bending guide portions positioned on one side in the longitudinal direction and the pair of bending guide portions positioned on the other side in the longitudinal direction are arranged so as to be symmetrical with respect to the longitudinal center line.
In the absorbent article of embodiment 2, since the pair of bending guide portions located on one longitudinal side and the pair of bending guide portions located on the other longitudinal side are arranged symmetrically with respect to the longitudinal center line, the follow-up deformation action by the bending guide portions can be exerted over a wide range in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent article during the movement of the wearer.
In still another aspect (aspect 3) of the present invention, the absorbent article according to aspect 1 or 2 is characterized in that,
the at least one pair of bending guides are arranged such that an imaginary extension of the bending guide located on one side in the width direction with respect to the width-direction center line and an imaginary extension of the bending guide located on the other side in the width direction with respect to the width-direction center line do not overlap on the same straight line.
In the absorbent article of embodiment 3, since at least one pair of bending guides are arranged so that the virtual extension line of the bending guide located on one side in the width direction and the virtual extension line of the bending guide located on the other side in the width direction with respect to the center line in the width direction do not overlap on the same straight line, a bending base point can be formed for each bending guide, the absorbent body can be easily deformed into a variety of shapes, and even if the force in the twisting direction acts on the widthwise central portion of the absorbent body via the bending guides during the movement of the wearer, the bending base point is not easily formed at the widthwise central portion, and the bending of the widthwise central portion of the absorbent body can be made less likely to occur.
In still another aspect (aspect 4) of the present invention, an absorbent article according to any one of aspects 1 to 3 is characterized in that,
the absorbent body is joined to the topsheet or the intermediate sheet on the skin-facing surface side via an adhesive layer,
the adhesive layer has a portion intersecting an imaginary line parallel to the longitudinal direction in a plan view, and extends in the longitudinal direction.
The absorbent article of embodiment 4 is joined to the topsheet or the intermediate sheet having the absorbent body on the skin-facing surface side via the adhesive layer, and therefore the absorbent body is less likely to be deformed even when the wearer moves, and more excellent fit can be exhibited.
In addition, in the absorbent article of embodiment 4, since the adhesive layer has a portion intersecting the longitudinal direction in a plan view and the adhesive layer extends in the longitudinal direction (for example, is disposed in a spiral shape, an omega shape, or the like along the longitudinal direction), even when a force in the twisting direction is applied thereto, the absorbent article can be reliably deformed in accordance with the movement of the wearer without inhibiting the follow-up deformation action of the bending guide portion, in addition to preventing the absorption inhibition by the adhesive layer from occurring.
In still another aspect (aspect 5) of the present invention, the absorbent article according to any one of aspects 1 to 4 is characterized in that,
the absorbent article has a skin-facing surface side absorbent layer at a position closer to the skin-facing surface side than the absorbent body,
the width-direction length of the portion of the skin-facing surface side absorbent layer that overlaps with the pair of bending guide portions in the thickness direction is greater than the width-direction length of the portion of the absorbent body that has the pair of bending guide portions.
In the absorbent article according to aspect 5, the width-directional length of the portion of the skin-facing surface-side absorbent layer that overlaps with the pair of folding guides in the thickness direction is greater than the width-directional length of the portion of the absorbent body that includes the pair of folding guides, and therefore, before excretory fluid such as urine is supplied from the wearer, twisting due to deformation of the folding guides can be made less likely to occur. Thus, the absorbent article of embodiment 5 can exhibit more excellent fit and can be less likely to cause leakage of excretory fluid due to twisting.
In still another aspect (aspect 6) of the present invention, the absorbent article according to aspect 5 is characterized in that,
the skin-facing side absorbent layer contains at least an absorbent polymer.
In the absorbent article of embodiment 6, since the skin-facing surface side absorbent layer contains at least the absorbent polymer, when excretory fluid such as urine is supplied from the wearer, the skin-facing surface side absorbent layer absorbs the excretory fluid and swells, and twisting of the absorbent body located on the non-skin-facing surface side of the skin-facing surface side absorbent layer can be further suppressed. Thus, the absorbent article of embodiment 6 can easily maintain excellent fit even after excretion by the wearer, and can prevent leakage of excretory fluid caused by twisting.
In still another aspect (aspect 7) of the present invention, the absorbent article according to any one of aspects 1 to 6 is characterized in that,
the end portions of the pair of bending guide portions on the inner side in the width direction communicate with the pair of concave portions in a plan view.
In the absorbent article of embodiment 7, the end portions on the inner side in the width direction of the pair of folding guide portions communicate with the pair of concave portions, and therefore, the above-described twisting-direction force transmitted via the folding guide portions during the movement of the wearer is more easily dispersed in the pair of concave portions, and the widthwise central portion of the absorbent body can be made less likely to deform.
In still another aspect (aspect 8) of the present invention, an absorbent article according to any one of aspects 1 to 7 is characterized in that,
the absorbent article has at least 2 folding lines extending in the width direction in a plan view,
the pair of bending guide portions are arranged so as not to intersect the fold line.
The absorbent article of embodiment 8 has at least 2 folding lines extending in the width direction, and the pair of folding guide portions are arranged so as not to intersect with these folding lines, respectively, so that the absorbent article can be folded compactly, and the folding base point using the fold crease based on the folding lines can be formed, and therefore the absorbent article can be easily deformed into a wider variety of shapes without hindering the follow-up deformation action by the pair of folding guide portions.
In still another aspect (aspect 9) of the present invention, an absorbent article according to any one of aspects 1 to 8 is characterized in that,
the absorbent article has an adhesive section disposed on the surface of the back sheet other than the skin-facing surface,
the pair of bending guide portions are arranged so as not to overlap with the adhesive portion or to partially overlap with the adhesive portion in the thickness direction.
The absorbent article of embodiment 9 has the adhesive section for fixing to clothing such as underwear of a wearer, and the pair of folding guide sections are arranged so as not to completely overlap the adhesive section in the thickness direction, and therefore the absorbent article can be fixed to clothing worn by a wearer without hindering the follow-up deformation action of the pair of folding guide sections, and excellent fit can be more stably exhibited.
In still another aspect (aspect 10) of the present invention, the absorbent article according to aspect 9 is characterized in that,
the adhesive portion is disposed at least on the outer side in the longitudinal direction than the pair of bending guide portions in a plan view.
In the absorbent article of embodiment 10, since the adhesive section is disposed at least on the longitudinally outward side of the bending guide section, even if the bending guide section functions as a bending base point, the longitudinally outward side portion of the bending guide section can be reliably fixed to the clothing worn by the wearer, and the absorbent article can be less likely to be rolled up or peeled off during wearing.
In still another aspect (aspect 11) of the present invention, an absorbent article according to any one of aspects 1 to 10 is characterized in that,
the absorbent article further has a pair of leakage preventing wall portions including, in a plan view: a pair of side sheets positioned at both ends in the width direction and arranged on a surface of the skin-facing surface side of the front sheet so as to extend in the longitudinal direction; and an elastic member fixed to each of the pair of side sheets and extending in the longitudinal direction,
the longitudinal fixed end of the elastic member is located on the outer side in the longitudinal direction than an imaginary extension line of the pair of bending guide portions.
In the absorbent article of embodiment 11, the longitudinally fixed end of the elastic member is located on the longitudinally outward side from the imaginary extension lines of the pair of folding guides, and the leakage preventing wall portion can be formed to the longitudinally outward side of the folding guides, so that the folding guides function as folding base points during wearing, and leakage of the excretory fluid can be prevented even when the absorbent article deforms following the movement of the wearer.
In still another aspect (aspect 12) of the present invention, an absorbent article according to any one of aspects 1 to 11 is characterized in that,
the absorbent body has a narrowed portion having a relatively small length in the width direction at the longitudinal direction central portion in a plan view,
the pair of bending guide portions are respectively disposed at the narrowing portions.
In the absorbent article of embodiment 12, since the aforementioned bending guide portion is disposed at the constricted portion corresponding to the leg circumference of the wearer, the bending guide portion is easily deformed in accordance with the movement of the legs of the wearer, and the above-described follow-up deformation action can be more reliably exhibited.
In still another aspect (aspect 13) of the present invention, the light incontinence pad according to aspect 12 is characterized in that,
the pair of bending guides are located at the ends on the widthwise outer side, respectively, between a maximum width portion having the maximum width of the absorbent body on the lengthwise outer side of the narrowed portion and a minimum width portion having the minimum width of the absorbent body on the narrowed portion, and are located on the lengthwise outer side than a lengthwise intermediate position between the maximum width portion and the minimum width portion.
In the absorbent article of embodiment 13, since the end portion on the outer side in the width direction of the bending guide portion is located in the specific portion, even in a case where the movement of the legs of the wearer is large, the bending guide portion can be reliably deformed in accordance with the movement, and the effect of embodiment 12 described above can be more stably and reliably exhibited.
ADVANTAGEOUS EFFECTS OF INVENTION
According to the present invention, an absorbent article can be provided that is less likely to cause discomfort to the wearer during walking or other movements and that has excellent fit.

In the present specification, unless otherwise specified, in the thickness direction of the light incontinence pad, "the side located at a position close to the skin surface of the wearer when the light incontinence pad is worn" is referred to as the "skin-facing surface side", and "the side located at a position far from the skin surface of the wearer when the light incontinence pad is worn" is referred to as the "non-skin-facing surface side". In this connection, in the absorbent article, 2 surfaces of the skin-facing surface side and the non-skin-facing surface side facing each other in the thickness direction are referred to as a skin-facing surface and a non-skin-facing surface, respectively, and in the constituent member such as the topsheet, the backsheet, and the absorbent body, 2 surfaces of the skin-facing surface side and the non-skin-facing surface side facing each other in the thickness direction are referred to as a skin-facing surface side surface and a non-skin-facing surface side surface, respectively.
[ light incontinence pad ]
As shown in fig. 1 and 2, a light incontinence pad 1 according to an embodiment of the present invention has a vertically long outer shape having a longitudinal direction L and a width direction W in a plan view, and 2 longitudinal direction end edges protruding in an arc shape toward the outer side in the longitudinal direction. The outer shape of the light incontinence pad 1 is not limited to this form, and any shape (for example, an oval shape, an hourglass shape, a gourd-shaped shape, or the like) according to various uses, use modes, or the like may be employed as long as it is vertically long.
The light incontinence pad 1 described above has, as a basic structure, in the thickness direction T: a liquid-permeable topsheet 2 forming a skin-facing surface of the light incontinence pad 1; a back sheet 3 forming a non-skin-facing surface of the light incontinence pad 1; and an absorbent body 4 located between the sheets.
As shown in fig. 1 to 3, the light incontinence pad 1 further includes: a skin-facing surface side absorbent layer 7 which is disposed between the topsheet 2 and the absorbent body 4 and is composed of a plurality of granular absorbent polymers and a hydrophilic nonwoven fabric covering the absorbent polymers; an adhesive section 8 which is disposed on the surface of the back sheet 3 on the side other than the skin-facing surface and which adhesively fixes the light incontinence pad 1 to the inner surface of clothing such as underwear of a wearer; a pair of side sheets 91 and 92 disposed at both ends in the width direction W of the light incontinence pad 1 on the skin-facing surface side of the topsheet 2 and extending in the longitudinal direction L; and a plurality of elastic members 93, 94 disposed along the longitudinal direction L in each of the pair of side sheets 91, 92.
When the pair of side sheets 91 and 92 and the elastic members 93 and 94 are attached to the inner surface of the garment worn by the wearer (that is, when the light incontinence pad 1 is bent in the longitudinal direction L), the elastic members 93 and 94 contract the pair of side sheets 91 and 92 in the longitudinal direction L, and the end edges of the pair of side sheets 91 and 92 on the inner side in the width direction stand up to form the pair of leakage preventing wall portions 9 and 9.
As shown in fig. 1, the light incontinence pad 1 has a first fold line FL extending in the width direction W between one end edge and the other end edge in the longitudinal direction L of the light incontinence pad 1 for folding the light incontinence pad 1 in the longitudinal direction L with the front sheet 2 as the inner side, as viewed in plan view1And a second fold line FL2Therefore, the foldable notebook computer can be compactly folded, and is excellent in storage property, portability, and the like.
In addition, in the light incontinence pad 1 of the present embodiment, as shown in fig. 1 to 4, the absorbent body 4 includes: with a widthwise center line C extending in the lengthwise direction L of the light incontinence pad 1 interposed therebetweenLTwo pairs of bending guide portions 51 to 54 which are symmetrically arranged, are recessed in the thickness direction T from the surface on the non-skin-facing surface side toward the surface on the skin-facing surface side, and have relatively low rigidity; and a pair of bent guide parts 51-54 located on the inner side in the width direction and separated from the center line C in the width directionLSymmetrically arranged to extend in the longitudinal direction L and facing the non-skinA pair of relatively low-rigidity concave portions 61, 62 having a surface on the skin-facing surface side recessed in the thickness direction T. In this specification, relatively low rigidity means that rigidity is relatively lower than rigidity of other portions.
Further, as shown in FIG. 1, the bending guide portions 51 to 54 are respectively located from the widthwise end edges 4W of the absorbent body 41、4W2Extends inward in the width direction and extends inward in the longitudinal direction as it extends inward in the width direction.
In the light incontinence pad 1, the pair of bending guides 51 and 52 located on one side of the absorbent body 4 in the longitudinal direction L and the pair of bending guides 53 and 54 located on the other side of the absorbent body 4 in the longitudinal direction L are arranged with the longitudinal center line C extending in the width direction W interposed therebetweenWAnd (4) symmetry.
As shown in fig. 5, the light incontinence pad 1 has at least one pair of bending guide portions 51 and 52 that function as bending base points of the absorbent body 4 and extend from the widthwise end edge 4W of the absorbent body 41、4W2Since the absorbent body 4 extends inward in the width direction and extends inward in the longitudinal direction with the inward in the width direction, the absorbent body 4 and, in turn, the light incontinence pad 1 are likely to deform (i.e., have a deforming effect) following the movement of the wearer during the movement of the wearer such as walking (specifically, even when the light incontinence pad 1 is subjected to a movement in which a force in a direction of twisting alternately in the left-right direction about the longitudinal direction L), and the wearer is less likely to feel uncomfortable.
Further, in the light incontinence pad 1, since the absorbent body 4 has the pair of concave portions 61 and 62 extending in the longitudinal direction L at the positions on the widthwise inner sides of the bending guide portions 51 and 52, even if a force in a direction of twisting alternately in the left and right directions about the longitudinal direction L is applied to the light incontinence pad 1 via the at least one pair of bending guide portions 51 and 52 during the movement of the wearer, the force can be dispersed by the pair of concave portions 61 and 62 extending in the longitudinal direction L, and the portions on the widthwise inner sides of the pair of concave portions 61 and 62, that is, the widthwise central portion of the absorbent body 4 can be made less likely to deform.
In this way, the light incontinence pad 1 can reliably bring the widthwise central portion of the absorbent body 4 into close contact with the crotch portion of the wearer in addition to the follow-up deformation action of the at least one pair of folding guides 51 and 52, and therefore can exhibit excellent fit even during the movement of the wearer.
Therefore, the light incontinence pad 1 is less likely to cause discomfort to the wearer even during walking or other movements, and can exhibit excellent fit.
Here, in the present specification, the center line C in the width direction extending in the longitudinal direction L is located at the centerLSymmetrical means about the center line C in the width directionLIs line symmetric with respect to the axis of symmetry. Further, the center line C is separated from the center line C in the longitudinal direction extending in the width direction WWThe same applies to symmetry.
As shown in fig. 1, the light incontinence pad 1 further includes: a pair of compression parts E1、E2They are arranged to separate from the center line C in the width directionLAnd extends in a symmetrical manner in the length direction L; a pair of compression parts E3、E4Located at the pair of compressing parts E1、E2Between and across the longitudinal centerline CWAnd symmetrically extend in a circular arc shape in the width direction W; and a circular arc sealing part RsWhich extends continuously along the outer peripheral edge of the light incontinence pad 1. In the light incontinence pad 1 described above, as shown in fig. 1, a pair of compressed portions E1、E2And is formed in a position and shape overlapping the pair of concave portions 61 and 62 in a plan view.
As shown in fig. 3, the compression section E1~E4The topsheet 2, the skin surface side absorbent layer 7, and the absorbent body 4 are formed by being compressed in the thickness direction T from the skin surface side toward the non-skin surface side by a processing means such as embossing, and are formed so as to be recessed in the thickness direction T from the surface on the skin surface side of the topsheet 2 toward the backsheet 3.
In addition, these compression parts E1~E4The position and shape of (A) are not particularly limited, and the liquid diffusibility and deformation inductivity as desired can be adoptedAnd strength, etc. in accordance with the desired shape. The light incontinence pad 1 itself may also not have such a compression E1~E4。
Hereinafter, various components of the absorbent article of the present invention will be described in more detail with reference to the light incontinence pad 1 and the like of the above embodiment.
[ dough sheet ]
In the light incontinence pad 1 described above, as shown in fig. 1, the front sheet 2 has a vertically long outer shape extending from one end edge to the other end edge in the longitudinal direction L of the light incontinence pad 1 in a plan view and extending from the vicinity of one end edge to the vicinity of the other end edge in the width direction W of the light incontinence pad 1. The topsheet 2 is disposed at a position on the skin-facing surface side in the thickness direction T of the light incontinence pad 1, and is composed of a liquid-permeable sheet member forming a contact surface that can be brought into contact with the skin of the wearer, that is, the skin-facing surface of the light incontinence pad 1.
As shown in fig. 1, the topsheet 2 has slightly larger dimensions in the longitudinal direction L and the width direction W than the absorbent body 4 disposed on the non-skin-facing surface side of the topsheet 2, and a pair of side sheets 91 and 92 are joined to the surfaces on the skin-facing surface side at both ends in the width direction W.
The liquid-permeable sheet-like member that can be used as the front sheet 2 is not particularly limited as long as it has various characteristics (for example, liquid permeability, skin touch, flexibility, strength, and the like) of the front sheet that can be used as a light incontinence pad, and any liquid-permeable sheet-like member such as a nonwoven fabric such as a hot air nonwoven fabric, a spunlace nonwoven fabric, a spunbond nonwoven fabric, a point-bond nonwoven fabric, and a porous resin film can be used.
When a nonwoven fabric is used as the front sheet, the nonwoven fabric may have a single-layer structure or a multilayer structure having 2 or more layers. The type of the constituent fibers of the nonwoven fabric is not particularly limited, and examples thereof include hydrophilic fibers such as cellulose fibers and hydrophilized thermoplastic resin fibers. These fibers may be used alone, or two or more kinds of fibers may be used in combination.
Examples of the cellulose fibers that can be used as the constituent fibers of the nonwoven fabric include natural cellulose fibers (e.g., plant fibers such as cotton), regenerated cellulose fibers, purified cellulose fibers, and semi-synthetic cellulose fibers.
Examples of the thermoplastic resin fibers that can be used as the fibers of the nonwoven fabric include fibers made of known thermoplastic resins such as olefin resins such as Polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP), polyester resins such as polyethylene terephthalate (PET), and polyamide resins such as 6-nylon. These resins may be used alone, or two or more kinds of resins may be used in combination.
The structure of the liquid-permeable sheet-like member used as the top sheet 2 is not particularly limited as long as the effect of the present invention is not impaired, and may have a flat sheet-like structure as a whole, or may have an uneven structure (for example, an uneven structure having a wavy cross-sectional shape, a ridge-and-groove structure, or the like) including a plurality of ridges and grooves extending in the longitudinal direction or the width direction. When the liquid-permeable sheet-like member has such an uneven structure, each of the plurality of raised portions in the uneven structure may have a solid internal structure or a hollow internal structure.
Any drugs such as plant-derived extracts and skin care agents may be applied to the surface of the skin-facing surface side of the topsheet 2, or an intermediate sheet having predetermined liquid diffusibility and liquid permeability may be disposed on the non-skin-facing surface side of the topsheet 2.
In the present invention, the shape, various sizes, basis weight, and the like of the topsheet are not particularly limited as long as the topsheet can be used as an absorbent article topsheet, and any shape, various sizes, basis weight, and the like can be adopted according to the desired liquid permeability, skin touch, flexibility, strength, and the like.
[ Back sheet ]
In the light incontinence pad 1 described above, as shown in fig. 2, the back sheet 3 has a vertically long outer shape extending from one end edge to the other end edge in the longitudinal direction L of the light incontinence pad 1 and from one end edge to the other end edge in the width direction W of the light incontinence pad 1 in a plan view. As shown in fig. 3, the back sheet 3 is formed of a liquid impermeable sheet-like member which is disposed at a position on the non-skin-facing surface side in the thickness direction T of the light incontinence pad 1 to form the non-skin-facing surface of the light incontinence pad 1 and which prevents excretory fluid such as urine which has passed through the absorbent body 4 from leaking to the outside of the light incontinence pad 1.
Further, an adhesive portion 8 for adhesively fixing the light incontinence pad 1 to the inner surface of clothing such as underwear of a wearer is disposed on the surface of the back sheet 3 on the side not facing the skin.
The liquid-impermeable sheet-like member that can be used as the back sheet 3 is not particularly limited as long as it can prevent the permeation of excretory fluid such as urine discharged from the wearer, and for example, a hydrophobic nonwoven fabric formed of hydrophobic thermoplastic resin fibers (for example, various composite fibers such as polyolefin resin fibers, polyester resin fibers, core-sheath composite fibers, and the like) can be used; a porous or nonporous resin film formed of a hydrophobic thermoplastic resin such as PE or PP; a laminate obtained by bonding a nonwoven fabric to the resin film; a known liquid impermeable sheet member such as an SMS nonwoven fabric is laminated.
Further, a leakage-preventing sheet formed of a thermoplastic resin film such as polyethylene may be disposed on the skin-facing surface side of the back sheet 3.
In the present invention, the shape, various sizes, basis weight, and the like of the back sheet are not particularly limited as long as the back sheet can be used as a back sheet of an absorbent article, and any shape, various sizes, basis weight, and the like can be adopted according to desired leakage-proof performance, air permeability, strength, and the like.
[ absorbent body ]
In the light incontinence pad 1 described above, as shown in fig. 1, the absorbent body 4 has a vertically long outer shape in which 2 longitudinal direction end edges protrude in an arc shape toward the outer side in the longitudinal direction, and extends over a wide range of the longitudinal direction L from the vicinity of one end edge in the longitudinal direction L to the vicinity of the other end edge, and also extends over a wide range of the longitudinal direction L from the vicinity of one end edge in the width direction W to the vicinity of the other end edge, with the central portion in the longitudinal direction L and the width direction W of the light incontinence pad 1 as a center, in a plan view.
The absorbent body 4 has a narrowed portion 41 having a relatively smaller length in the width direction than other portions at the longitudinal center portion in a plan view, and the narrowed portion 41 includes a minimum width portion 42 having the minimum width of the absorbent body 4 and maximum width portions 43, 43 having the maximum width of the absorbent body 4 on the outer side in the longitudinal direction of the narrowed portion 41.
As shown in fig. 3, the absorbent body 4 is disposed between the front sheet 2 and the back sheet 3 (more specifically, between the skin-facing-surface-side absorbent layer 7 located on the non-skin-facing-surface-side of the front sheet 2 and the back sheet 3) in the thickness direction T of the light incontinence pad 1, and is formed of a predetermined water-absorbent member capable of absorbing and retaining excreta liquid such as urine of a wearer that has passed through the front sheet 2 and the skin-facing-surface-side absorbent layer 7.
The absorbent body 4 is joined to the skin-facing surface side absorbent layer 7 on the skin-facing surface side and the back sheet 3 on the non-skin-facing surface side with an optional adhesive such as a hot-melt adhesive. The adhesive layer H formed of this adhesive will be described later.
The water-absorbent member that can be used as the absorbent body 4 is not particularly limited as long as it can absorb and retain excreta liquid such as urine excreted from the wearer, and a water-absorbent member made of a water-absorbent material known in the art can be used. Examples of the water-absorbent material constituting such a water-absorbent member include hydrophilic fibers, high-absorbent polymers, and the like, and more specifically, cellulose fibers such as ground pulp, cotton, rayon, and acetate fibers; a granular material comprising a high-absorbency polymer such as a sodium acrylate copolymer; and mixtures obtained by arbitrarily combining these compounds.
The absorbent member 4 may be covered with a wrapping sheet such as a hydrophilic crepe paper.
(bending guide part)
As shown in fig. 1, the absorbent body 4 has a widthwise center line C extending in the longitudinal direction L of the light incontinence pad 1 in a plan viewLAnd arranged symmetricallyAnd two pairs of bending guide portions 51-54 recessed in the thickness direction T from the surface on the non-skin-facing surface side toward the surface on the skin-facing surface side and having relatively low rigidity. The bending guide portions 51 to 54 are respectively arranged from the width direction end edge 4W of the absorber 41、4W2Extends inward in the width direction and extends inward in the longitudinal direction as it extends inward in the width direction.
In the present invention, the number of the bending guides is not limited to the number of the light incontinence pad 1 in the above-described embodiment (that is, two pairs) as long as at least one pair is provided, and only one pair of the bending guides may be formed on the absorbent body, or three or more pairs may be formed.
In this way, at least a pair of folding guide portions that function as folding base points of the absorbent body are formed, and if the pair of folding guide portions extend from the widthwise end edges of the absorbent body toward the widthwise inner side and extend toward the lengthwise inner side as they extend toward the widthwise inner side, the absorbent body and, therefore, the absorbent article can easily deform following the movement of the wearer even during the movement of the wearer such as walking, and the wearer can be made less likely to feel uncomfortable.
In the present invention, the form of the bending guide portion is not particularly limited as long as it can promote the above-described bending deformation of the absorbent body, and the bending guide portion may be formed of a low-rigidity portion having relatively low rigidity, such as a slit portion that penetrates or does not penetrate in the thickness direction by compression, for example, embossing, or the like, in addition to a low-basis-weight portion that is recessed in the thickness direction by the low-basis-weight of the water-absorbent material. Similarly, the surface of the absorbent body (i.e., the surface on the skin-facing surface side and the surface on the non-skin-facing surface side) forming the bending guide portion is not particularly limited as long as the bending deformation described above can be promoted, and the bending guide portion may be formed so as to be recessed in the thickness direction from the surface on the non-skin-facing surface side toward the surface on the skin-facing surface side of the absorbent body, as in the light incontinence pad 1 described above, or so as to be recessed in the thickness direction from the surface on the skin-facing surface side toward the surface on the non-skin-facing surface side of the absorbent body, or so as to be recessed in the thickness direction from both surfaces of the absorbent body toward the surfaces on the opposite sides to each other.
The folding guide portion is not particularly limited as long as it extends from the widthwise end edge of the absorbent body toward the widthwise inner side and extends toward the lengthwise inner side as it extends toward the widthwise inner side, and may extend, for example, linearly, in a dotted line and/or in a curved line, or may extend while forming one or more branches.
Further, the arrangement position of the at least one pair of folding guide portions is not particularly limited as long as the effect of the present invention is not hindered, but it is preferable that at least one pair of folding guide portions is arranged on one side in the longitudinal direction corresponding to the hip of the wearer when the absorbent article is worn by the wearer, and it is more preferable that at least one pair of folding guide portions is arranged on each of one side and the other side in the longitudinal direction L.
In addition, in the light incontinence pad 1 described above, as shown in fig. 1 and 4, the two pairs of bent guide portions 51 to 54 include: a pair of bending guides 51 and 52 extending in the width direction W with respect to a longitudinal center line CWIs positioned at one side of the length direction L; and a pair of bending guide portions 53, 54 located on the other side in the longitudinal direction L, wherein the pair of bending guide portions 51, 52 located on one side in the longitudinal direction L and the pair of bending guide portions 53, 54 located on the other side in the longitudinal direction L are arranged so as to sandwich the longitudinal center line CWAnd (4) symmetry.
In the absorbent article of the present invention, it is not essential to arrange the at least one pair of bending guides in this manner, but the absorbent article preferably has at least one pair of bending guides including a pair of bending guides located on one side in the longitudinal direction and a pair of bending guides located on the other side in the longitudinal direction with respect to a longitudinal center line extending in the width direction, and the pair of bending guides located on one side in the longitudinal direction and the pair of bending guides located on the other side in the longitudinal direction are arranged so as to be line-symmetrical with respect to the longitudinal center line. If at least one pair of bending guide portions are disposed as described above, there are advantages as follows: the bending guide portion can exhibit a follow-up deformation action over a wide range in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent article during the movement of the wearer.
In the light incontinence pad 1, the pair of bending guide portions 51 and 52 located on one side in the longitudinal direction L are arranged with respect to the center line C in the width direction as shown in fig. 1 and 4LAn imaginary extension 51L of the bending guide 51 positioned on one side in the width direction W and a center line C in the width directionLThe virtual extended lines 52L of the bending guide portions 52 positioned on the other side in the width direction W are not arranged so as to overlap on the same straight line.
Similarly, the pair of bending guide portions 53 and 54 located on the other side in the longitudinal direction L are also arranged with respect to the width direction center line CLAn imaginary extension 53L of the bending guide 53 positioned on one side in the width direction W and a center line C in the width directionLThe virtual extended lines 54L of the bending guide portions 54 located on the other side in the width direction W are arranged so as not to overlap on the same straight line.
The virtual extension lines of the bending guide portions are virtual lines that overlap and extend the center lines of the bending guide portions in a plan view, and the virtual extension lines 51L to 54L are virtual straight lines that overlap the center lines of the linear bending guide portions 51 to 54.
In the absorbent article of the present invention, it is not essential to arrange at least one pair of bending guides in this way, but it is preferable that at least one pair of bending guides is arranged so that an imaginary extension of one bending guide located on one side in the width direction with respect to the center line in the width direction does not overlap an imaginary extension of the other bending guide located on the other side in the width direction with respect to the center line in the width direction on the same straight line. When at least one pair of bending guide portions are arranged in this manner, it is possible to form a bending base point for each bending guide portion, and to easily deform the absorbent body into a variety of shapes, and even if the above-described twisting-direction force acts on the widthwise central portion of the absorbent body via the bending guide portions during the movement of the wearer, it is possible to make it difficult to form a bending base point at the widthwise central portion, and to further make it difficult for the widthwise central portion of the absorbent body to bend.
In the light incontinence pad 1, as shown in fig. 4, the pair of bent guide portions 51 and 52 located on one side in the longitudinal direction L communicate with the pair of concave portions 61 and 62 at the end portions 51E and 52E on the inner side in the width direction in a plan view.
Similarly, the end portions 53E and 54E on the inner side in the width direction of the pair of bending guide portions 53 and 54 on the other side in the longitudinal direction L communicate with the pair of concave portions 61 and 62, respectively, in a plan view.
In the absorbent article of the present invention, the arrangement of the at least one pair of folding guides as described above is not an essential feature, but it is preferable that the respective widthwise inner side end portions of the at least one pair of folding guides communicate with the pair of concave portions. When at least one pair of folding guides are disposed in this way, the above-described twisting-direction force transmitted via the folding guides during the movement of the wearer can be more easily dispersed in the pair of concave portions, and the widthwise central portion of the absorbent body can be made less likely to deform.
In fig. 4, the boundaries between the widthwise inner ends 51E, 53E of the bending guides 51, 53 and the recess 61 extending in the longitudinal direction L and the boundaries between the widthwise inner ends 52E, 54E of the bending guides 52, 54 and the recess 62 extending in the longitudinal direction L are indicated by imaginary lines (broken lines), respectively.
The light incontinence pad 1 has 2 fold lines FL extending in the width direction W in plan view1、FL2The two pairs of bending guides 51 to 54 are not parallel to the 2 folding lines FL as shown in FIG. 11、FL2Configured in a crossed manner.
In the present invention, the absorbent article configured as described above is not an essential feature, but the absorbent article preferably has at least 2 folding lines extending in the width direction, and the pair of folding guides are arranged so as not to intersect with these folding lines. With such a configuration of the absorbent article, the absorbent article can be folded compactly, and the folding base point using the fold crease formed by the folding line can be formed while the storage property, the portability, and the like are excellent.
In the present invention, the folding form of the absorbent article, the position of each folding line, the number of folding lines, and the like are not particularly limited as long as the effects of the present invention are not hindered. For example, the absorbent article may have 1 fold line extending in the width direction, may have any number of fold lines of 2 or more, or may not have a fold line extending in the width direction.
(concave part)
The absorbent body 4 is, as shown in FIG. 1, positioned on the widthwise inner side of the folding guides 51 to 54 in a plan view so as to sandwich a widthwise center line CLThe pair of recesses 61, 62 extending in the longitudinal direction L and recessed in the thickness direction T from the surface on the non-skin-facing surface side toward the surface on the skin-facing surface side are symmetrically arranged, and have relatively low rigidity. The pair of concave portions 61 and 62 are disposed so that the distance between the concave portion 61 on one side and the concave portion 62 on the other side in the width direction W is equal to or greater than 1/4 of the length in the width direction of the absorbent body 4, and extend in the longitudinal direction L so that the length in the longitudinal direction is equal to or greater than 1/10 of the length in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent body 4.
In the present invention, the number of the concave portions located on the widthwise inner side of the bending guide portion is not particularly limited as long as at least one pair is provided, and only one pair of the concave portions extending in the longitudinal direction may be formed in the absorbent body, or two or more pairs may be formed.
In this way, if the absorbent body has at least one pair of concave portions extending in the longitudinal direction at positions inward in the width direction of the bending guide portion, even if a force is applied to the absorbent article through the bending guide portion in a direction in which the longitudinal direction is twisted alternately in the left and right directions with the longitudinal direction as an axis during the movement of the wearer, the force can be dispersed by the at least one pair of concave portions extending in the longitudinal direction, and portions inward in the width direction than the pair of concave portions, that is, the widthwise central portion of the absorbent body, can be made less likely to deform. Thus, the absorbent article of the present invention can bring the widthwise central portion of the absorber into close contact with the crotch portion of the wearer in addition to the above-described deformation following action of the folding guide, and therefore can exhibit excellent fit even during the movement of the wearer.
In the present invention, the form of the concave portion extending in the longitudinal direction is not particularly limited as long as it is a form capable of dispersing the force transmitted from the bending guide portion in the longitudinal direction, and the concave portion extending in the longitudinal direction may be formed of a relatively low-rigidity concave portion such as a slit portion penetrating or not penetrating in the thickness direction or a compressed groove portion formed by compressing the absorbent body in the thickness direction by embossing or the like, in addition to a low-basis-weight portion recessed in the thickness direction by the low-basis-weight formation of the water-absorbent material. Similarly, the surface of the absorbent body (i.e., the surface on the skin-facing surface side and the surface on the non-skin-facing surface side) on which the recesses extending in the longitudinal direction are formed is not particularly limited as long as the configuration can disperse the force transmitted from the bending guide portions as described above in the longitudinal direction, and the recesses extending in the longitudinal direction may be formed so as to be recessed in the thickness direction from the surface on the non-skin-facing surface side of the absorbent body toward the surface on the skin-facing surface side as in the light incontinence pad 1 described above, may be formed so as to be recessed in the thickness direction from the surface on the skin-facing surface side of the absorbent body toward the surface on the non-skin-facing surface side, or may be formed so as to be recessed in the thickness direction from both surfaces of the absorbent body toward the surfaces on the opposite sides to each other.
Further, as long as at least a pair of the concave portions extending in the longitudinal direction are located on the inner side in the width direction of the above-described bent guide portion in a plan view and extend in the longitudinal direction so as to be symmetrical with respect to the center line in the width direction, the extending manner thereof is not particularly limited, and each of the pair of the concave portions extending in the longitudinal direction may extend in a linear, a dotted line, and/or a curved line, for example, or may extend while forming one or more branches.
The position of the arrangement of the at least one pair of concave portions extending in the longitudinal direction is not particularly limited as long as the effect of the present invention is not hindered, and it is preferable that the concave portions are arranged so as to be located on the widthwise outer side than a region contactable with the excretory opening of the wearer when the absorbent article is worn by the wearer and to extend longer than the region in the longitudinal direction.
(reduction in size)
In the light incontinence pad 1, as shown in fig. 1 and 4, the absorbent body 4 has a narrowed portion 41 having a relatively small length in the width direction at the longitudinal center portion in a plan view, and the light incontinence pad 1 is easily attached to the crotch portion of the wearer. Further, if the absorbent body 4 has such a constricted portion 41, the absorbent body 4 having relatively high rigidity among the constituent members of the light incontinence pad 1 is less likely to come into contact with the inner portions of the legs of the wearer, and therefore the wearer can be less likely to feel a feeling of foreign matter.
In the light incontinence pad 1, the two pairs of bent guide portions 51 to 54 are disposed in the narrowed portion 41.
In the absorbent article of the present invention, it is not essential to dispose the bending guide portions at such a narrowed portion, but it is preferable to dispose at least one pair of bending guide portions at such a narrowed portion. If at least one pair of bending guide portions are disposed at the constricted portions corresponding to the leg circumferences of the wearer, the bending guide portions are easily deformed in accordance with the movement of the legs of the wearer, and the follow-up deformation action described above can be more reliably exhibited.
In the light incontinence pad 1, as shown in fig. 1, the bending guide portions 51 to 54 are located at the ends on the widthwise outer side between the maximum width portion 43 having the maximum width of the absorbent body 4 on the lengthwise outer side of the narrowed portion 41 and the minimum width portion 42 having the minimum width of the absorbent body 4 in the narrowed portion 41, and are located on the lengthwise outer side than the lengthwise intermediate position between the maximum width portion 43 and the minimum width portion 42.
In the absorbent article of the present invention, the arrangement of the folding guide portions as described above is not an essential feature, but if the end portions on the outer sides in the width direction of at least one pair of folding guide portions are located in such a specific portion, even in a case where the movement of the legs of the wearer is large, the folding guide portions can be reliably deformed in accordance with the movement, and the above-described effects can be exhibited more stably and reliably.
In the absorbent article of the present invention, the absorbent body has the above-described technical feature that the narrowing portion is not essential, and therefore, for example, the absorbent body may have a structure in which the length in the width direction is constant in the longitudinal direction.
In the present invention, the shape, various sizes, basis weight, and the like of the absorber in a plan view are not particularly limited as long as they can be used as the absorber of the absorbent article, and any shape (for example, a rectangle, an oval, an hourglass, and the like), various sizes, basis weight, and the like can be adopted according to desired absorption performance, flexibility, strength, and the like.
The position at which the absorber is disposed is not particularly limited as long as it is a position including the longitudinal center portion of the absorbent article, and the absorber may be disposed, for example, so as to be biased toward one side in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent article.
In the absorbent article of the present invention, the absorbent body may be joined to the skin-facing surface side absorbent layer, the topsheet, the intermediate sheet, and other constituent members positioned on the skin-facing surface side via the adhesive layer. In this way, when the absorbent body is joined to the constituent member located on the skin-facing surface side via the adhesive layer, the absorbent body is less likely to be deformed even during the movement of the wearer, and more excellent adhesiveness can be exhibited.
Preferably, the adhesive layer has a portion intersecting an imaginary line parallel to the longitudinal direction in a plan view, and extends in the longitudinal direction.
Here, fig. 6 is a plan view schematically showing an arrangement form of the adhesive layer H arranged on the skin-facing surface side of the absorbent body 4. In fig. 6, the adhesive layer H disposed on the absorbent body 4 is in a spiral form in a plan view, that is, has an imaginary line L parallel to the longitudinal direction L1The intersecting portions extend in the longitudinal direction L.
In this way, the adhesive layer has a portion that intersects the longitudinal direction L in plan view, and when the adhesive layer extends in the longitudinal direction (for example, is disposed in a spiral shape, an omega shape, or the like along the longitudinal direction), absorption inhibition by the adhesive layer is less likely to occur, and even when a force in the above-described twisting direction is applied, the follow-up deformation action of the bending guide portion is not inhibited, and the absorbent article can be reliably deformed to follow the movement of the wearer.
In the present invention, the form of the absorbent body, in particular, the form of the at least one pair of folding guides and the at least one pair of concave portions extending in the longitudinal direction formed in the absorbent body is not limited to the form of the light incontinence pad 1 described above, as long as the effects of the present invention are not hindered.
Here, fig. 7 is a plan view of the light incontinence pad 1 ' in another embodiment of the absorbent article of the present invention as viewed from the topsheet 2 side in the thickness direction T in a state in which the light incontinence pad is developed, and fig. 8 is a plan view of the light incontinence pad 1 ' as viewed from the skin-facing surface side in the thickness direction T in a state in which the absorbent body 4 ' is developed.
In the light incontinence pad 1' of the other embodiment, as a basic structure, in the thickness direction T: a liquid-permeable topsheet 2 forming the skin-facing surface of the light incontinence pad 1'; a back sheet (not shown) forming a non-skin-facing surface of the light incontinence pad 1; and an absorbent body 4 'positioned between these sheets, and further provided with an adhesive section (not shown) which is disposed on the surface of the back sheet other than the skin-facing surface side and which adhesively fixes the light incontinence pad 1' to the inner surface of clothing worn by the wearer.
As shown in fig. 7, the light incontinence pad 1' includes: a pair of compressed parts E'1、E’2They are arranged to separate from the center line C in the width directionLExtending in a symmetrical manner in the length direction L; a pair of compressed parts E'3、E’4And each of them is located in the pair of compression parts E'1、E’2On the outer side in the longitudinal direction and so as to sandwich the longitudinal center line CWOne side of the symmetry mode crosses the center line C of the width direction in the width direction WLOne side of the base extends in a roughly arc shape; a pair of compression parts E'5、E’6And they are respectively located at the pair of compression parts E'1、E’2On the outer side in the longitudinal direction and so as to sandwich a longitudinal center line CWThe symmetric form is drawn to be more than the pair of compressed parts E'3、E’4A large arc extends; and a circular arc seal portion continuously extending along the outer peripheral edge portion of the light incontinence pad 1.
In addition, as shown in fig. 7 and 8, the absorbent body 4 'of the light incontinence pad 1' also includes: so as to sandwich a widthwise center line C extending in the longitudinal direction L of the light incontinence pad 1LTwo pairs of bending guide portions 51 'to 54' which are symmetrically arranged, are recessed in the thickness direction T from the surface on the non-skin-facing surface side toward the surface on the skin-facing surface side, and have relatively low rigidity; and a pair of bent guide portions 51 'to 54' located on the inner side in the width direction and spaced from the center line C in the width directionLA pair of relatively low-rigidity concave portions 61 ', 62' which are symmetrically arranged so as to extend in the longitudinal direction L and are recessed in the thickness direction T from the surface on the non-skin-facing surface side toward the surface on the skin-facing surface side. The bent guide portions 51 'to 54' are respectively extended from the widthwise end edge 4W of the absorbent body 41、4W2Extending inward in the width direction and extending inward in the longitudinal direction as it goes inward in the width direction, and is located at a widthwise end edge 4W from the absorbent body 41、4W2The intermediate portion facing the inner side in the width direction has branch portions 51 'B to 54' B branching so as to face the outer side in the longitudinal direction as facing the inner side in the width direction. When the bent guide portions 51 'to 54' have such branch portions 51 'B to 54' B, even if the excretory fluid such as urine spreads in the longitudinal direction L along the bent guide portions 51 'to 54', the excretory fluid can be guided inward in the width direction, and therefore leakage of the excretory fluid can be made less likely to occur.
In the light incontinence pad 1 ', the pair of bent guide portions 51 ', 52 ' on one side in the longitudinal direction L communicate with the end portions 51 ' E, 52 ' E on the inner side in the width direction and the end portions on one side in the longitudinal direction L of the pair of concave portions 61 ', 62 ' in a plan view, as shown in fig. 8.
Similarly, the end portions 53 'E and 54' E on the inner side in the width direction of the pair of bent guide portions 53 'and 54' on the other side in the longitudinal direction L communicate with the end portions on the other side in the longitudinal direction of the pair of recesses 61 'and 62', respectively, in a plan view.
When the pair of bending guides and the pair of recesses extending in the longitudinal direction are arranged in this manner, the force in the twisting direction transmitted through the bending guides during the movement of the wearer is more easily dispersed in the pair of recesses, and the widthwise central portion of the absorbent body can be made less likely to deform, as in the light incontinence pad 1 described above.
In fig. 8, the boundaries between the widthwise inner ends 51 'E, 53' E of the bent guides 51 ', 53' and the recess 61 'extending in the longitudinal direction L and the boundaries between the widthwise inner ends 52' E, 54 'E of the bent guides 52', 54 'and the recess 62' extending in the longitudinal direction L are also indicated by imaginary lines (broken lines).
In addition, in the light incontinence pad 1 ', the pair of bending guides 51 ', 52 ' positioned on one side in the longitudinal direction L and the pair of bending guides 53 ', 54 ' positioned on the other side in the longitudinal direction L are arranged to sandwich the longitudinal center line CWBut are arranged in a symmetrical manner.
In the light incontinence pad 1 ', the pair of bending guides 51 ', 52 ' located on one side in the longitudinal direction L are arranged with respect to the center line C in the width directionLAn imaginary extension 51 'L of the bending guide 51' on one side in the width direction W and a center line C in the width directionLVirtual extension lines 52 'L of the bending guide portions 52' positioned on the other side in the width direction W do not overlap on the same straight line, and similarly, a pair of bending guide portions 53 ', 54' positioned on the other side in the longitudinal direction L are arranged with respect to the width direction center line CLAn imaginary extension 53 'L of the bending guide 53' on one side in the width direction W and a center line C in the width directionLImaginary extension lines 54 'L of the bending guide portions 54' positioned on the other side in the width direction W do not overlap on the same straight line.
[ skin-facing side absorbent layer ]
In the light incontinence pad 1 shown in fig. 1, as shown in fig. 3, a skin-facing surface side absorbent layer 7 is provided on a position closer to the skin-facing surface side than the absorbent body 4 (more specifically, between the topsheet 2 and the absorbent body 4).
As shown in FIG. 1, the width-direction length of the portion of the skin-facing surface side absorbent layer 7 that overlaps with the bending guides 51 to 54 in the thickness direction T is formed to be greater than the width-direction length of the portion of the absorbent body 4 having the bending guides 51 to 54.
In the absorbent article of the present invention, the feature that the skin-facing surface side absorbent layer is formed in this way is not essential, but the skin-facing surface side absorbent layer is preferably formed such that the width-directional length of the portion overlapping the pair of folding guides in the thickness direction is larger than the width-directional length of the portion of the absorbent body having the pair of folding guides. When the skin-facing surface side absorbent layer is formed in this manner, the absorbent article provided with such a skin-facing surface side absorbent layer can exhibit more excellent fit and can be less prone to leakage of excretory fluid due to twisting, because twisting caused by deformation of the aforementioned bent guide portions can be less likely to occur before excretory fluid such as urine is supplied from the wearer.
In the present invention, the skin-facing surface side absorbent layer is not particularly limited as long as it has a function of absorbing and retaining excretory fluid such as urine excreted from the wearer, and for example, a structure composed of the same water-absorbent material as the above-mentioned absorbent body, or a structure in which the water-absorbent material is wrapped with 1 or 2 or more liquid-permeable sheets such as hydrophilic nonwoven fabric, or the like can be preferably used.
In the absorbent article of the present invention, the skin-facing side absorbent layer preferably contains at least an absorbent polymer. When the skin-facing surface side absorbent layer contains at least an absorbent polymer, the skin-facing surface side absorbent layer absorbs excretory fluid and swells when the excretory fluid such as urine is supplied from the wearer, and the absorbent body positioned on the non-skin-facing surface side of the skin-facing surface side absorbent layer can be made less likely to twist. Thus, an absorbent article provided with such a skin-facing surface side absorbent layer is easy to maintain excellent fit even after excretion by the wearer, and is less likely to cause leakage of excretion liquid due to twisting.
The absorbent polymer is a polymer capable of absorbing and retaining water, and examples thereof include a polymer having a three-dimensional mesh structure in which a water-soluble polymer is appropriately crosslinked. Specific examples thereof include granular or fibrous polymers of starch, acrylic acid, and amino acid.
In the present invention, the shape, various sizes, basis weight, and the like of the skin-facing surface side absorbent layer in a plan view are not particularly limited as long as the effects of the present invention are not hindered, and any shape (for example, a rectangle, an oval, an hourglass shape, and the like), various sizes, basis weight, and the like can be adopted in accordance with desired absorption performance, flexibility, strength, and the like. Since the absorbent article of the present invention is originally not necessarily provided with such a skin-facing surface side absorbent layer, the absorbent article may not be provided with such a skin-facing surface side absorbent layer.
[ adhesive part ]
In the light incontinence pad 1 described above, the adhesive portion 8 for adhesively fixing the light incontinence pad 1 to the inner surface of clothing worn by a wearer is arranged in a 6-stripe shape extending continuously in the longitudinal direction L and arranged at predetermined intervals in the width direction W on the surface of the back sheet 3 on the non-skin-facing surface side, as shown in fig. 2.
Since a release sheet (not shown) for protecting the adhesive portion 8 is usually bonded to the surface of the adhesive portion 8, when the light incontinence pad 1 is adhesively fixed to the inner surface of a garment worn by a wearer, the adhesive portion 8 is pressed against the inner surface of the garment worn by the wearer after the release sheet is peeled off, whereby the light incontinence pad 1 can be adhesively fixed to the inner surface of the garment worn.
In the light incontinence pad 1, as shown in fig. 2, the bent guide portions 51 to 54 are disposed so as to partially overlap the adhesive portion 8 in the thickness direction T.
In the absorbent article of the present invention, it is not an essential component that the pair of folding guides are arranged as described above, but the pair of folding guides are preferably arranged so as not to overlap with the adhesive section arranged on the surface of the back sheet on the non-skin-facing surface side in the thickness direction or so as to partially overlap with the adhesive section arranged on the surface of the back sheet on the non-skin-facing surface side. In this way, if the pair of folding guides are arranged so as not to completely overlap the adhesive section in the thickness direction, the absorbent article can be fixed to the clothing worn by the wearer without hindering the follow-up deformation action of the pair of folding guides, and excellent fit can be more stably exhibited.
In the light incontinence pad 1, as shown in fig. 2, the adhesive portion 8 is disposed so as to extend to the outside in the longitudinal direction of each of the folding guide portions 51 to 54 in a plan view.
In the absorbent article of the present invention, the adhesive section is not necessarily required to be disposed, but the adhesive section is preferably disposed on the outer side in the longitudinal direction than at least the pair of folding guides. When the adhesive portion is disposed in this manner, even if the bending guide portion functions as a bending base point, the portion on the outer side in the longitudinal direction of the bending guide portion can be reliably fixed to the clothing worn by the wearer, and the absorbent article can be less likely to be rolled up or peeled off during wearing.
In the light incontinence pad 1 described above, as shown in fig. 2, the adhesive section 8 is disposed in a region overlapping the absorbent body 4 in the thickness direction T in a plan view, and is separated by a widthwise center line C extending in the longitudinal direction LLDisposed on both sides thereof. When the adhesive section 8 is disposed in this manner, the portion overlapping the absorbent body 4 in the thickness direction can be reliably adhered and fixed along the shape of the inner surface of the clothing worn by the wearer, and even if the legs and the buttocks of the wearer move alternately in the left and right directions while wearing the pad, the pad is easily deformed along with the clothing worn by the wearer following the movement, and therefore, the light incontinence pad 1 is less likely to be rolled up or peeled off while wearing the pad.
As the adhesive usable in such an adhesive portion, any adhesive known in the art can be used, and for example, a pressure-sensitive adhesive mainly composed of a styrene-based copolymer such as styrene-ethylene-butadiene-styrene (SEBS), styrene-butadiene-styrene (SBS), or styrene-isoprene-styrene (SIS) can be used.
In the absorbent article of the present invention, the amount, shape, and the like of the adhesive portion are not particularly limited as long as the effects of the present invention are not impaired, and the adhesive portion may be disposed on the surface of the back sheet other than the skin-facing surface in any of a plurality of linear shapes (stripe shapes), a dotted line shape, a curved line shape, a zigzag shape, and the like, for example, 1 or 2 or more in the longitudinal direction L. The adhesive portion may extend continuously in the longitudinal direction L as described above, or may extend intermittently.
The various dimensions (for example, the longitudinal length, the width length, etc.) and the basis weight of the adhesive part are not particularly limited as long as the effect of the present invention is not impaired, and any dimensions and basis weights can be used in consideration of the ease of fixing the light incontinence pad to the clothing to be worn, the fit, etc. Since the absorbent article of the present invention originally has such technical features that are not necessarily required for bonding, the absorbent article may not have such a bonding portion.
[ leakage preventing wall ]
As shown in fig. 1, the light incontinence pad 1 includes a pair of leakage preventing walls 9, 9 including: a pair of side sheets 91 and 92 positioned at both ends in the width direction W of the light incontinence pad 1 at positions closer to the skin-facing surface side than the topsheet 2 and arranged so as to extend in the longitudinal direction L; and a plurality of elastic members 93, 94 arranged along the longitudinal direction L in each of the pair of side sheets 91, 92.
(side sheet)
In the light incontinence pad 1 described above, as shown in fig. 1, the pair of side sheets 91 and 92 are disposed at both ends in the width direction W of the light incontinence pad 1 at the position of the skin-facing surface side of the topsheet 2, and are composed of a pair of band-shaped liquid-impermeable sheets that can form a pair of leakage-preventing walls by rising at the end edges on the inner side in the width direction when the light incontinence pad 1 is worn (i.e., when the light incontinence pad 1 is bent in the longitudinal direction L), and that extend in the longitudinal direction L.
The pair of side sheets 91 and 92 extends from one end edge to the other end edge in the longitudinal direction L of the light incontinence pad 1 in a plan view.
The pair of side sheets 91 and 92 are respectively bent from the surface of the skin-facing surface side of the front sheet 2 to the surface of the back sheet 3 other than the skin-facing surface side thereof at both ends in the width direction W of the laminate of the front sheet 2, the skin-facing surface side absorbent layer 7, the absorbent body 4, and the back sheet 3, and are arranged so as to be separated by two sheets in the thickness direction T, and in this state, both ends in the width direction W of the laminate are joined by an arbitrary joining means (not shown) such as thermal fusion, thereby forming fixed ends of the pair of side sheets 91 and 92. On the other hand, the inner side ends in the width direction W of the pair of side sheets 91 and 92 positioned on the skin-facing surface side of the topsheet 2 are not joined to any sheet-like member, and form free ends.
In the present invention, the belt-shaped liquid-impermeable sheet that can be used as the side sheet is not particularly limited as long as it has various characteristics (for example, liquid impermeability, skin touch, flexibility, strength, and the like) that can be used as the side sheet of the absorbent article, and for example, a hydrophobic nonwoven fabric (for example, a hydrophobic or hydrophobic spunbonded nonwoven fabric, a point-bonded nonwoven fabric, an SMS nonwoven fabric, and the like), a liquid-impermeable synthetic resin film, a laminate thereof, and the like can be used.
In the present invention, the outer shape, basis weight, thickness, and the like of the belt-shaped liquid-impermeable sheet that can be used as the side sheet are not particularly limited as long as the effects of the present invention are not impaired, and any shape, basis weight, thickness, and the like can be adopted in accordance with the desired liquid impermeability, tactile sensation, flexibility, and the like.
(elastic Member)
In the light incontinence pad 1, as shown in fig. 1, 2 (4 in total) elastic members 93 and 94 are disposed along the longitudinal direction L on each of the pair of side sheets 91 and 92, respectively, for contracting the pair of side sheets 91 and 92 in the longitudinal direction L to promote the raising of the inner side end edge in the width direction W.
The elastic members 93 and 94 are not particularly limited as long as they can impart a contractive force in the longitudinal direction L to the pair of side sheets 91 and 92 and further impart a contractive force in the longitudinal direction L to the light incontinence pad 1 via the pair of side sheets 91 and 92, and for example, a rubber thread or flat rubber made of natural rubber; an optional elastic member such as a member obtained by molding a thermoplastic elastomer such as polyurethane or ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA) into a linear or strip shape.
The dimensions, shapes, and the number of the elastic members 93, 94 are not particularly limited as long as they can impart the contraction force in the longitudinal direction L to the pair of side sheets 91, 92 and further impart the contraction force in the longitudinal direction L to the light incontinence pad 1 via the pair of side sheets 91, 92, and for example, the length in the longitudinal direction of the elastic members 93, 94 can be equal to or greater than 1/2, preferably equal to or greater than 2/3, the length in the longitudinal direction of the entire length (overall length) of the light incontinence pad 1, the fineness of the elastic members 93, 94 can be equal to or greater than 200dtex, preferably equal to or greater than 300dtex to 700dtex, and the number of the elastic members 93, 94 can be equal to or greater than 1 in each of the pair of side sheets 91, 92, or equal to or greater than 2 in each of the pair of side sheets 91, 92.
In the light incontinence pad 1, as shown in fig. 1, the longitudinal fixed ends 93E and 94E of the elastic members 93 and 94 are located outward in the longitudinal direction from the virtual extension lines 51L to 54L of the bending guide portions 51 to 54.
In the absorbent article of the present invention, the elastic member is not necessarily disposed as described above, but the elastic member is preferably disposed such that the longitudinal fixed end is located on the longitudinally outward side of the imaginary extension lines of the pair of bending guide portions. When the elastic member is disposed in this manner, the leakage preventing wall portion can be formed to the outer side in the longitudinal direction of the folding guide portion, and therefore, the folding guide portion functions as a folding base point in wearing, and even if the absorbent article deforms following the movement of the wearer, leakage of the discharged liquid can be made less likely to occur.
In the absorbent article of the present invention, the leakage preventing wall portions (i.e., the side sheets and the elastic members) are not essential features, and therefore the absorbent article may not include the side sheets and the elastic members.
The present invention can be applied to various absorbent articles such as a panty liner, a sanitary napkin, and a disposable diaper, in addition to the light incontinence pad of each of the above embodiments. The absorbent article of the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments, and can be appropriately combined, substituted, modified, and the like without departing from the object and the spirit of the present invention. In this specification, ordinal numbers such as "first" and "second" are used to distinguish between items having the ordinal number, and do not mean the order, priority, importance, and the like of the items.
