Description

Absorbent article
Technical Field
The present invention relates to an absorbent article such as a diaper and a disposable diaper.
Background
Conventionally, in an absorbent article such as a diaper or a disposable diaper, for the purpose of preventing side leakage of an excretory fluid such as urine (i.e., leakage occurring from an end in the width direction of the absorbent article), a pair of leakage preventing walls (so-called three-dimensional gathers) rising toward the skin surface of a wearer are disposed on both sides in the longitudinal direction (i.e., both ends in the width direction) of the absorbent article.
As an absorbent article for preventing such side leakage of excretory fluid, for example, patent document 1 discloses an absorbent article including: a substantially sheet-like main body portion having an absorbent core disposed between a back sheet and a top sheet; and a pair of side sheets provided on both side portions of the main body portion over substantially the entire length of the main body portion in the longitudinal direction, the pair of side sheets each including: a band-shaped joint portion which is a portion on one side of a bending line provided over the entire length in the longitudinal direction and is joined to the main body portion; and a side wall portion that is a portion on the other side of the bend line, that is folded back toward the outside in the width direction at an edge on the inside in the width direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the joint portion as the bend line, and that is further folded back toward the inside in the width direction, and that has a portion that rises from the main body portion, the side wall portion including: two side wall end portions fixed to the joint portion at both ends in the longitudinal direction; a rising portion that is continuous from the two sidewall end portions between the two sidewall end portions and rises from the fold line; and an elastic member disposed over substantially the entire length of the rising portion in the longitudinal direction, the elastic member being configured to contract the rising portion by contraction to form gathers, one of the two side wall end portions including: a half-rising portion that is a portion continuous from the rising portion, is provided with the elastic member, is not joined to the joining portion and the main body portion, and rises from the main body portion lower than the rising portion by contracting the elastic member; and a fixing portion that is adjacent to an outer side of the half-rising portion in the width direction and is fixed to the engaging portion.
According to the absorbent article disclosed in patent document 1, side leakage from the vicinity of the end in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent article can be prevented.

Disclosure of Invention
Problems to be solved by the invention
However, in the absorbent article disclosed in patent document 1, since both end portions of the absorbent core in the width direction are positioned inward in the width direction with respect to the fixing portions of the pair of side wall portions in the half-raised portion, even if the excreted liquid flowing to the half-raised portion of the side wall portion is received by the half-raised portion, the received excreted liquid cannot be sufficiently absorbed by the absorbent core, and side leakage may occur from the portion on the outer side in the width direction of the absorbent core.
Further, both end portions in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent core of the absorbent article disclosed in patent document 1 are located at positions substantially equal to the longitudinally inward side end portions of the half-raised portions in the longitudinal direction (that is, no absorbent core is present at positions located on the longitudinally outward side from positions substantially equal to the longitudinally inward side end portions of the half-raised portions in the longitudinal direction), and therefore, in particular, in a case where the wearer in a lying state repeatedly discharges the excrement, the excrement that flows in the longitudinal direction while being restrained by the raised portions and the half-raised portions of the side wall portions cannot be sufficiently absorbed by the absorbent core, and the excrement may leak from the back side in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent article.
Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide an absorbent article that can reliably prevent side leakage of discharged liquid and is less likely to cause leakage from the back side in the longitudinal direction.
Means for solving the problems
An absorbent article according to one aspect of the present invention (aspect 1) includes: an absorbent body having a longitudinal direction, a width direction, and a thickness direction, and having an abdomen region, a crotch region, and a back region in the longitudinal direction, the absorbent body being provided with an absorber; and a pair of leakage preventing wall portions that are respectively located at both ends in the width direction of the absorbent main body portion and continuously extend to both ends in the length direction, wherein,
the leakage preventing wall portions each have: a base portion that faces the absorbent main body portion and is fixed to the absorbent main body portion, a first wall portion that is connected to an inner side end edge in the width direction of the base portion and rises toward a skin facing surface side when worn, and a second wall portion that is connected to an outer side end edge in the width direction of the first wall portion and rises toward the skin facing surface side when worn, and the liquid flow control portion is provided at least in the back region, the liquid flow control portion being arranged so as to include an end edge in the length direction and have a predetermined length in the length direction and a predetermined length in the width direction, the liquid flow control portion controlling rising structures of the first wall portion and the second wall portion so as to control a flow of the discharged liquid in the width direction and the thickness direction,
the liquid flow control unit includes: a first joining portion joining the base portion and the first wall portion and having a predetermined longitudinal length; and a second joining portion that joins the first wall portion and the second wall portion, and a length of an inner side end edge in the width direction of the second joining portion in the longitudinal direction is equal to or longer than the length of the first joining portion in the longitudinal direction and is shorter than a length of an outer side end edge in the width direction of the second joining portion in the longitudinal direction,
the absorbent body is disposed in the absorbent main body portion such that, in a plan view, a back region side end edge in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent body is located on an outer side in the longitudinal direction than an inner side end edge located on an innermost side in the longitudinal direction of inner side end edges in the width direction of the second joining portions, and both end edges in the width direction of the absorbent body are located on an outer side in the width direction than inner side end edges in the width direction of the base portion at least in the back region.
The absorbent article of the present aspect 1 has a specific structure as follows: a pair of leakage prevention wall portions having a base portion, a first wall portion, and a second wall portion has a liquid flow control portion at least in a back region, the liquid flow control portion being configured to include: a first joining portion that joins the base portion to the first wall portion and has a predetermined longitudinal length; and a second joining portion that joins the first wall portion and the second wall portion, and a longitudinal direction length of an inner side end edge in the width direction of the second joining portion is equal to or longer than the longitudinal direction length of the first joining portion and is shorter than a longitudinal direction length of an outer side end edge in the width direction of the second joining portion, and the absorbent body is disposed in the absorbent main body portion such that, in a plan view, a back region side end edge in the length direction of the absorbent body is located on an outer side in the length direction than an inner side end edge located on an innermost side in the length direction among the inner side end edges in the width direction of the second joining portion, and both end edges in the width direction of the absorbent body are located on an outer side in the width direction than inner side end edges in the width direction of the base portion at least in the width region, therefore, in the liquid flow control portion, the first wall portion and the second wall portion can form a specific standing structure having a sufficient standing height and having sufficient durability against the excretory liquid discharged from the wearer. Thus, the absorbent article of the present aspect 1 can enclose and retain the excretory fluid discharged from the wearer and flowing toward the longitudinal direction and the outward direction in the width direction on the surface on the skin-facing surface side of the absorbent main body, while the excretory fluid is absorbed by the absorbent body in the absorbent main body through the surface on the skin-facing surface side of the absorbent main body, and can guide the excretory fluid flowing toward the outward direction in the longitudinal direction toward the inward direction in the width direction by the liquid flow control portion, while the excretory fluid is absorbed by the absorbent body through the surface on the skin-facing surface side of the absorbent main body, while the excretory fluid is enclosed and retained in the hollow portion formed between the specific standing structure of the liquid flow control portion and the skin-facing surface of the absorbent main body.
As a result, the absorbent article of the present aspect 1 can reliably prevent side leakage of the discharged liquid, and also is less likely to cause leakage from the back side in the longitudinal direction.
In another aspect (aspect 2) of the present invention, in the absorbent article according to aspect 1, the absorbent body has an outer shape of: in the crotch portion region, both end edges in the width direction of the absorber are tapered toward the inner side in the width direction so as to be located inward in the width direction from inner side end edges in the width direction of the base.
In the absorbent article of claim 2, the absorbent body has the following outer shape: in the crotch portion region, the width direction both end edges of the absorber are tapered inward in the width direction so as to be located inward in the width direction from the width direction inner end edges of the base, and therefore, in the crotch portion region, the pair of leakage preventing wall portions have a high degree of freedom in deformation and movement, and can be brought into close contact while following the body shape of the wearer (the shape of the crotch portion). Thus, in the absorbent article of claim 2, since it is difficult to form a gap between the body (crotch portion) of the wearer and the pair of leakage preventing wall portions, side leakage of the excretory fluid can be more reliably prevented.
In still another aspect (aspect 3) of the present invention, in the absorbent article according to aspect 1 or 2, both end edges in the width direction of the absorbent body are located on the outer side in the width direction than outer side end edges in the width direction of the second joined portions in the abdomen region and the back region.
In the absorbent article according to aspect 3, in the abdomen area and the back area, both end edges in the width direction of the absorbent body are located on the outer side in the width direction than the outer side end edge in the width direction of the second joining portion, and therefore, even in a case where the wearer lies flat (that is, in a case where the excretory fluid is likely to flow in the gravity direction (the direction toward the outer side in the width direction of the absorbent main body portion)), the excretory fluid flowing toward the outer side in the width direction can be reliably absorbed by the absorbent body, and the side leakage of the excretory fluid can be more reliably prevented.
In still another aspect (aspect 4) of the present invention, in the absorbent article according to any one of aspects 1 to 3, the absorbent main body includes a pair of embossed portions that are respectively disposed in a first region in a width direction and a second region in the width direction that are defined by a center axis in the width direction that extends in the longitudinal direction, and that are recessed in the thickness direction from a skin-facing surface,
a total length of a width-direction length from the embossed portion to an inner side end edge in the width direction of the base portion, a width-direction length of the first wall portion, and a width-direction length of the second wall portion is longer than a width-direction length from the width-direction central axis to the embossed portion.
In the absorbent article of this aspect 4, the absorbent main body portion includes the pair of embossed portions, and a total length of a width-direction length from the embossed portion to the inner side end edge in the width direction of the base portion, a width-direction length of the first wall portion, and a width-direction length of the second wall portion is configured to be longer than a width-direction length from the width-direction central axis to the embossed portion, therefore, the pair of embossed portions serve as bending starting points, and the absorbent main body portion is easily deformed so that the widthwise central portion extending along the widthwise central axis of the absorbent main body portion projects toward the skin-facing surface side (i.e., so that the cross-sectional shape along the lengthwise central axis is substantially W-shaped), moreover, the rising height of the pair of leakage preventing wall portions is likely to be higher than the protruding height of the widthwise central portion protruding toward the skin-facing surface side.
In the absorbent article of this aspect 4, the skin-facing surface of the widthwise central portion of the absorbent body can thereby be brought into close contact with or close to the crotch of the wearer, so that the absorbent body can easily absorb the excreta discharged from the wearer, and side leakage of the excreta can be more reliably prevented.
In still another aspect (aspect 5) of the present invention, in the absorbent article according to any one of aspects 1 to 4, an inner side end edge in the longitudinal direction of the first joint portion linearly extends along the width direction.
In the absorbent article according to aspect 5, since the inner side end edge in the longitudinal direction of the first joint portion linearly extends along the width direction, the rising structure of the first wall portion and the second wall portion that rise with the inner side end edge in the longitudinal direction of the first joint portion as a starting point is easily stabilized, and the function of the liquid flow control portion can be more reliably exhibited.
In still another aspect (aspect 6) of the present invention, in the absorbent article according to any one of aspects 1 to 5, each of the pair of leakage preventing wall portions includes a plurality of elastic members extending in the longitudinal direction and arranged in the width direction in plan view, and a longitudinal length of an elastic member located on an outer side in the width direction of the plurality of elastic members is longer than a longitudinal length of an elastic member located on an inner side in the width direction of the plurality of elastic members.
In the absorbent article of aspect 6, the length in the longitudinal direction of the elastic member located on the outer side in the width direction of the plurality of elastic members arranged in each of the pair of leakage preventing wall portions is longer than the length in the longitudinal direction of the elastic member located on the inner side in the width direction, and therefore, an erected structure formed by the first wall portion and the second wall portion is easily maintained at the outer side portions in the width direction of the pair of leakage preventing wall portions, the durability against the excretory fluid directed outward in the width direction can be further ensured, and further, the degree of freedom of deformation and movement is high at the inner side portions in the width direction of the pair of leakage preventing wall portions (i.e., the portions that serve as the rising start points and the top portions of the pair of leakage preventing wall portions), the pair of leakage preventing wall portions can be easily brought into close contact with each other while following the body shape of the wearer (the shape of the crotch portion). Thus, the absorbent article of claim 6 can exhibit a better leakage preventing function of the pair of leakage preventing walls.
In still another aspect (aspect 7) of the present invention, in the absorbent article according to aspect 6, each of the pair of leakage preventing wall portions has a contracted region formed so as to be contractible in the longitudinal direction by the plurality of elastic members in a plan view and extending in the longitudinal direction, and a longitudinal length of a portion of the contracted region located on an inner side in the width direction is longer than a longitudinal length of a portion of the contracted region located on an outer side in the width direction.
In the absorbent article according to aspect 7, in the contracted region of each of the pair of leakage-preventing wall portions, the length in the longitudinal direction of the portion located on the inward side in the width direction is longer than the length in the longitudinal direction of the portion located on the outward side in the width direction, and therefore, the portion serving as the top portion is less likely to be rolled up in each of the pair of leakage-preventing wall portions, and the leakage-preventing function of the pair of leakage-preventing wall portions can be more reliably exhibited.
In still another aspect of the present invention (aspect 8), in the absorbent article according to aspect 7, the absorbent body has a narrow width portion having a length in the width direction of the absorbent body smaller than a maximum length in the width direction of the absorbent body in the abdomen region at a boundary portion between the abdomen region and the crotch region,
the narrow width portion overlaps with the constricted region in a plan view.
In the absorbent article according to aspect 8, the absorbent body has a narrow width portion having a length in the width direction of the absorbent body smaller than the maximum length in the width direction of the absorbent body in the abdomen region at a boundary portion between the abdomen region and the crotch region, and the rigidity of the absorbent article at the portion having the narrow width portion is relatively reduced. In the absorbent article of the present aspect 8, since the narrow width portion overlaps the contracted region in a plan view, the leakage preventing wall portion is likely to rise toward the skin-facing surface side in a state where the surface of the second wall portion of the leakage preventing wall portion on the skin-facing surface side is maintained in a planar shape substantially parallel to the surface of the absorbent main body portion on the skin-facing surface side at the boundary portion between the abdomen region and the crotch region having a large curvature (i.e., the portion overlapping the narrow width portion in the thickness direction) when the absorbent article is worn.
Thus, the absorbent article of this aspect 8 can ensure a larger contact area between the leakage-preventing wall portion of the portion where the curvature increases (i.e., the boundary portion between the abdominal region and the crotch region) and the skin surface of the wearer when worn (in other words, a gap can be made less likely to form between the leakage-preventing wall portion and the skin surface of the wearer), and therefore can more reliably prevent side leakage of the excretory fluid.
In still another aspect (aspect 9) of the present invention, in the absorbent article according to any one of aspects 1 to 8, the liquid flow control portions of the pair of leakage preventing wall portions are disposed in the abdomen area and the back area, respectively,
the absorbent body is disposed in the absorbent main body such that, in a plan view, an abdomen area side end edge in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent body is located on an outer side in the longitudinal direction than an inner side end edge located on an innermost side in the longitudinal direction of inner side end edges in the width direction of the second joining portions, and both end edges in the width direction of the absorbent body are located on an outer side in the width direction than inner side end edges in the width direction of the base portion at least in the abdomen area and the back area.
In the absorbent article according to claim 9, the liquid flow control portions of the pair of leakage preventing wall portions are respectively arranged in the abdomen area and the back area, and the absorbent body is arranged in the absorbent main body such that, in a plan view, the abdomen area side end edge in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent body is positioned on the outer side in the longitudinal direction than the inner side end edge of the inner side end edge in the width direction of the second joining portion, which is positioned on the innermost side in the longitudinal direction, and both end edges in the width direction of the absorbent body are positioned on the outer side in the width direction than the inner side end edge in the width direction of the base portion in at least the abdomen area and the back area, and therefore, even in a case where a wearer lies in a prone posture (i.e., a case where an excreta liquid discharged from the wearer easily flows in a direction toward the abdomen side in the longitudinal direction), or the like, the liquid flow control unit disposed in the abdominal region can reliably prevent the side leakage of the excretory fluid in the abdominal region, and the leakage from the abdominal side in the longitudinal direction is also less likely to occur.
ADVANTAGEOUS EFFECTS OF INVENTION
According to the present invention, it is possible to provide an absorbent article in which side leakage of excretory fluid can be reliably prevented and leakage from the back side in the longitudinal direction is also less likely to occur.

Detailed Description
Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the absorbent article of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. In the present specification, unless otherwise specified, the phrase "an object placed on a horizontal plane in a developed state as viewed from above in the vertical direction (the surface sheet side in the case where the object is an absorbent article) in the thickness direction of the object (for example, an absorbent article, an absorber, or the like)" is simply referred to as "plan view". Here, the "expanded state" refers to a state in which an object placed on a horizontal surface is extended so as to be along the horizontal surface, and a state in which the extension is released from the extended state (for example, a state in which the object is contracted to some extent by an elastic member or the like) is referred to as a "natural state".
The various directions and the like used in the present specification are as follows unless otherwise specified.
In the present specification, "longitudinal direction" refers to a direction in which the length of an object (for example, an absorbent article, an absorbent main body, an absorber, etc.) that is longitudinally long in a plan view is long, "width direction" refers to a direction (short-side direction) in which the length of an object that is longitudinally long in a plan view is short, "and" thickness direction "refers to a direction perpendicular to an object placed on a horizontal plane in a developed state, and these longitudinal direction, width direction, and thickness direction are orthogonal to each other. In the present specification, the longitudinal direction, the width direction, and the thickness direction of the absorbent article correspond to the longitudinal direction, the width direction, and the thickness direction of the absorbent main body constituting the absorbent article, respectively.
In the present specification, the term "in the longitudinal direction of a vertically long object" is used to refer to a longitudinal central axis C which is located at the center of the object in the longitudinal direction and extends in the width directionWThe relatively close proximal side is referred to as "inner side in the longitudinal direction", and "in the longitudinal direction of the longitudinally long object, with respect to the longitudinal central axis CWThe distal side that is relatively distant is referred to as "the longitudinal outer side". Similarly, the term "in the width direction of a vertically long object" is defined as a line that is parallel to a width direction central axis C that is located at the center of the object in the width direction and extends in the longitudinal directionLThe relatively close proximal side is referred to as "inner side in the width direction", and "in the width direction of the object which is long in the longitudinal direction, with respect to the width direction central axis CLRemote side of relative distanceThe "outward side in the width direction".
In the present specification, the region corresponding to the abdomen of the wearer when the absorbent article is worn in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent article or the absorbent body is referred to as "abdomen region", the region corresponding to the back to the buttocks of the wearer when the absorbent article is worn in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent article or the absorbent body is referred to as "back region", and the region located between the abdomen region and the back region in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent article or the absorbent body and corresponding to the crotch of the wearer when the absorbent article is worn is referred to as "crotch region". Here, "wearing" refers to a period (wearing period) during which the absorbent article is maintained from the time when the wearer wears the absorbent article (i.e., the time when the usable state is established).
In the present specification, unless otherwise specified, in the thickness direction of the absorbent article or the absorbent main body, the "proximal side relatively close to the skin surface of the wearer when the absorbent article is worn" is referred to as "skin-facing surface side", and the "distal side relatively distant from the skin surface of the wearer when the absorbent article is worn" is referred to as "non-skin-facing surface side". In the present specification, the "surface on the skin-facing side" and the "surface on the non-skin-facing side" of the absorbent article and various components (for example, the absorbent main body, the top sheet, the absorbent body, the back sheet, the side sheet, and the like) may be simply referred to as "skin-facing side" and "non-skin-facing side", respectively.
Fig. 1 is a plan view of a diaper 1 according to an embodiment of the present invention in a developed state, fig. 2 to 6 are end views of the diaper 1 in a natural state taken along the section line II-II to VI-VI in fig. 1, respectively, and fig. 7 is a perspective view of the diaper 1.

Hereinafter, various members constituting the absorbent article of the present invention will be described in more detail with reference to the urine pad 1 of the above-described embodiment.
< absorbent body section >
In the urine pad 1 according to the embodiment of the present invention, as shown in fig. 1, the absorbent main body 2 has a longitudinal direction, a width direction, and a thickness direction corresponding to the longitudinal direction L, the width direction W, and the thickness direction T of the urine pad 1, respectively, in a plan view, and has a longitudinally long outer shape (that is, a crotch region a in the longitudinal direction L) which is a shape of the urine pad 1 in a plan viewCA substantially hourglass shape in which the corresponding portion tapers inward in the width direction W).
In the present invention, the external shape of the absorption body section is not limited to the shape of the present embodiment, and any shape (for example, a rectangle, an ellipse, a gourd-shaped shape, etc.) having a longitudinal length longer than a width in a width direction may be employed as long as the shape is a strip shape having a longitudinal length longer than a width in a width direction. In the present invention, the various dimensions such as the longitudinal length, the width length, and the thickness length (thickness) of the absorbent main body are not particularly limited as long as the absorbent main body has predetermined absorbency, flexibility, suitability for the body shape of the wearer, and the like, and any dimensions can be adopted depending on the size, sex, absorbent article, use, and the like of the wearer.
In the above embodiment, as shown in fig. 1 to 6, the absorbent body 2 includes, as main components, a liquid-permeable front sheet 22 positioned on the skin-facing surface side, a liquid-impermeable back sheet 23 positioned on the non-skin-facing surface side, and an absorbent body 21 composed of 2 absorbent layers (i.e., a first absorbent layer 21A and a second absorbent layer 21B) positioned between the sheets and capable of absorbing and retaining excretion such as urine, in the thickness direction T, and in the present embodiment, a liquid-impermeable back film 24 is provided on the skin-facing surface side of the back sheet 23 (i.e., between the absorbent body 21 and the back sheet 23).
Hereinafter, various structural members of the absorbent main body portion that can be used in the absorbent article of the present invention will be described in more detail with reference to the urine pad 1 of the above-described embodiment.
[ surface sheet ]
In the above embodiment, as shown in fig. 1 and 2, the topsheet 22 disposed on the skin-facing surface side of the absorbent body 2 extends from the abdomen-side end to the back-side end in the longitudinal direction L of the absorbent body 2 in a plan view, and further extends from the one-side end edge 21E in the width direction W of the absorbent body 21 in the absorbent body 23Near the other end edge 21E4The entire part has a substantially rectangular outer shape that is long in the longitudinal direction L.
In the absorbent article of the present invention, the size and shape of the top sheet are not particularly limited as long as the top sheet can cover most of the surface of the skin-facing surface side of the absorbent body (for example, a portion exceeding 50% of the surface area of the skin-facing surface side of the absorbent body), and any size and shape can be adopted according to various applications and the like.
In the above embodiment, as shown in fig. 1 to 6, the top sheet 22 is disposed on the skin-facing surface side that can be brought into direct contact with the skin surface of the wearer in the thickness direction T of the absorbent body 2, and is composed of a liquid-permeable sheet capable of rapidly transferring excretory fluid such as urine discharged from the wearer to the absorbent body 21 disposed on the non-skin-facing surface side of the top sheet 22.
In the present invention, the liquid-permeable sheet usable as the top sheet is not particularly limited as long as it has various properties (for example, liquid permeability, skin touch, flexibility, strength, and the like) usable as the top sheet of the absorbent article, and for example, a fibrous sheet such as a nonwoven fabric or woven fabric such as a hot air nonwoven fabric, a spunbond nonwoven fabric, a point-bond nonwoven fabric, and the like; an apertured film obtained by applying a plurality of apertures to a resin film, and the like. The fiber sheet may be subjected to hydrophilization treatment with a surfactant. In such a liquid-permeable sheet, a fibrous sheet is preferably used in view of excellent liquid permeability, flexibility, strength and the like, and a nonwoven fabric such as a through-air nonwoven fabric or a spunbond nonwoven fabric is more preferably used.
When the above-mentioned fiber sheet is used as the surface sheet, the structural fiber is not particularly limited, and, for example, an olefin resin such as polyethylene or polypropylene; the resin fiber made of a thermoplastic resin such as a polyester resin such as polyethylene terephthalate or polylactic acid may be one type of resin alone or two or more types of resins may be used together. The structure of the resin fiber is not particularly limited, and for example, a composite fiber such as a core-sheath fiber, a profiled cross-section fiber, a three-dimensional crimp fiber, or the like may be used.
The resin fiber may be subjected to hydrophilization treatment such as treatment with a surfactant, a hydrophilic agent, or the like (for example, kneading a surfactant into the fiber, coating a surfactant on the fiber surface, or the like), or may contain any additive such as a deodorant, an antimicrobial agent, or the like. These additives may be used alone or in combination of two or more.
In the present invention, the weight per unit area of the liquid-permeable sheet usable as the top sheet is not particularly limited as long as it has predetermined liquid permeability, flexibility and strength, and is, for example, 5g/m2~100g/m2In the range of (1), preferably 10g/m2~50g/m2Within the range of (1). The thickness of the liquid-permeable sheet is not particularly limited as long as the liquid-permeable sheet can function as a topsheet of an absorbent article, and any thickness can be used depending on the desired liquid permeability, flexibility, strength, and the like.
The structure of the liquid-permeable sheet that can be used as the top sheet is not particularly limited as long as it has predetermined liquid permeability, flexibility, and strength, and for example, a liquid-permeable sheet having a substantially flat structure, a liquid-permeable sheet having an uneven structure on the surface on the skin-facing surface side, or the like can be preferably used.
[ Back sheet ]
In the above-described embodiment, as shown in fig. 1 and 2, the back sheet 23 disposed on the non-skin-facing surface side of the absorbent body 2 extends from the abdomen-side end to the back-side end in the longitudinal direction L of the absorbent body 2 and from one side end to the other side end in the width direction W of the absorbent body 2 in plan view, and has the same longitudinally elongated outer shape as the absorbent body 2 as a whole (that is, the crotch region a in the longitudinal direction L)CA substantially hourglass shape in which the corresponding portion tapers inward in the width direction W).
In the absorbent article of the present invention, the size and shape of the back sheet are not particularly limited as long as they can cover at least the entire surface of the non-skin-facing surface side of the absorbent body, and any size and shape can be adopted depending on various applications and the like.
In the above embodiment, as shown in fig. 1 to 6, the back sheet 23 is disposed on the non-skin-facing surface side in the thickness direction T of the absorbent main body 2, and is composed of a liquid-impermeable sheet that functions so as not to leak an excretion liquid such as urine excreted from the wearer to the outside.
In the present invention, the liquid-impermeable sheet usable as the back sheet is not particularly limited as long as it has various characteristics (for example, liquid-impermeability, flexibility, strength, preferably air permeability and the like) usable as the back sheet of the absorbent article, and for example, a resin film such as polyethylene, polypropylene and the like; a laminate obtained by laminating a nonwoven fabric on a resin film; a hydrophobic nonwoven fabric, a laminated nonwoven fabric (for example, SMS nonwoven fabric), and the like. When the nonwoven fabric is used as the back sheet, the type of the nonwoven fabric is not particularly limited, and for example, any nonwoven fabric such as a spunbond nonwoven fabric, a point-bond nonwoven fabric, a meltblown nonwoven fabric, and an SMS nonwoven fabric may be used. The structural fiber of the nonwoven fabric is not particularly limited, and for example, polyolefin resin such as polyethylene and polypropylene; the resin fiber made of a thermoplastic resin such as a polyester resin such as polyethylene terephthalate may be used alone or in combination of two or more kinds of these resins. The structure of the resin fiber is not particularly limited, and for example, various composite fibers such as a core-sheath fiber may be used.
In the present invention, the weight per unit area of the liquid-impermeable sheet (for example, nonwoven fabric or the like) usable as the back sheet is not particularly limited as long as it has a predetermined liquid-impermeability (leak-proofness) and strength, and is, for example, 5g/m2~100g/m2In the range of (1), preferably 10g/m2~50g/m2Within the range of (1). The thickness of the liquid-impermeable sheet is not particularly limited as long as the liquid-impermeable sheet can function as a back sheet of an absorbent article, and any thickness can be used depending on the desired liquid-impermeability, flexibility, strength, breathability, and the like.
In the above embodiment, as shown in fig. 2 to 6, a liquid-impermeable back film 24 having substantially the same size and shape as the back sheet 23 is disposed on the skin-facing surface side of the back sheet 23 (i.e., between the absorber 21 and the back sheet 23). The back film 24 is made of a thermoplastic resin film such as polyethylene, and functions to prevent the permeation of excretory fluid such as urine discharged from the wearer and prevent the leakage of the excretory fluid into the clothes of the wearer, similarly to the back sheet 23.
The absorbent article of the present invention may be provided with no back film, since the back film is not an essential component in the absorbent article of the present invention, if the absorbent article is provided with such a back film, leakage of excretory fluid such as urine can be more effectively suppressed.
[ absorbent body ]
In the above embodiment, as shown in fig. 1, the absorbent body 21 is formed from the abdomen area a in the longitudinal direction L of the absorbent main body 2 in a plan viewF(more specifically, in the vicinity of the end on the abdominal region side in the longitudinal direction L) to the back region AB(more specifically, in the vicinity of the back region side end in the longitudinal direction L), andfirst widthwise region a of the absorbent body 2 in the widthwise direction WW1(more specifically, in the vicinity of one end in the width direction W) to a second region A in the width directionW2(more specifically, the vicinity of the other end in the width direction W), and a crotch region A which is long in the longitudinal direction L and in which the entire crotch region A is located in the longitudinal direction LCThe corresponding portion is tapered toward the inner side in the width direction W, and has a substantially hourglass shape.
In the absorbent article of the present invention, the size and shape of the absorbent body are not limited to those of the present embodiment, and any longitudinally long shape (for example, a rectangle, an ellipse, a gourd shape, or the like) according to various applications may be employed as long as the longitudinal dimension in at least the longitudinal direction is long enough to reach from the abdomen region to the back region in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent main body.
In the above embodiment, as shown in fig. 1 to 6, the absorbent body 21 is disposed between the front sheet 22 and the back sheet 23 (more specifically, between the front sheet 22 and the back film 24) in the thickness direction T of the absorbent main body 2, and is composed of 2-layer absorbent layers (i.e., the first absorbent layer 21A and the second absorbent layer 21B) that function to absorb and retain excreta liquid such as urine of the wearer that has passed through the front sheet 22.
The 2-layer absorbent layer is formed as a unitary body by joining a first absorbent layer 21A disposed on the skin-facing surface side and a second absorbent layer 21B disposed on the non-skin-facing surface side in the absorbent body 2 by an arbitrary joining means (not shown) such as a hot-melt adhesive.
Of the 2-layered absorbent layers constituting the absorbent body 21, the first absorbent layer 21A is located in the abdominal region a in the longitudinal direction L of the absorbent body 2 in plan viewF(more specifically, the vicinity of the abdominal side end in the longitudinal direction L) to the back region AB(more specifically, the vicinity of the back-side end in the longitudinal direction L), and a first region a in the width direction W of the absorbent main body 2W1(more specifically, the vicinity of one end in the width direction W)) Extending to the second region A in the width directionW2(more specifically, the vicinity of the other end in the width direction W), a crotch region A which is long in the longitudinal direction L and has the longitudinal direction L as a wholeCAnd an absorbent member having a substantially hourglass shape in which the corresponding portion tapers inward in the width direction W. In the present embodiment, the first absorption layer 21A forms the outer shape of the absorber 21 in a plan view.
On the other hand, the second absorbent layer 21B extends from the abdomen area a in the longitudinal direction L of the absorbent main body 2 in a plan viewF(more specifically, the vicinity of the abdominal side end in the longitudinal direction L) to the back region AB(more specifically, the vicinity of the back-side end in the longitudinal direction L), but both ends in the width direction W are positioned closer to both ends in the width direction W than the first absorption layer 21A (i.e., one end 21E in the width direction W)3And the other end edge 21E4) The absorbent member extends inward in the width direction W and has a substantially rectangular outer shape that is long in the longitudinal direction L as a whole. By forming the second absorbent layer 21B so as to be disposed opposite to the non-skin-facing surface side in this manner, the step at the end edge portion in the width direction W of the first absorbent layer 21A and the second absorbent layer 21B is less likely to be perceived by the wearer.
In the present invention, the absorbent member that can be used as the first absorbent layer and the second absorbent layer constituting the absorbent body is not particularly limited as long as it can absorb and retain excreta liquid such as urine, and any absorbent member known in the art can be used. As the absorbent member, for example, an absorbent member in which an absorbent core made of an arbitrary absorbent material is covered with a core wrap sheet such as a hydrophilic tissue can be used. As the absorbent material constituting the absorbent core, for example, hydrophilic fibers, super absorbent polymers, and the like can be used, and more specifically, cellulose fibers such as ground pulp, cotton, rayon, and acetate fibers; and granules made of a highly absorbent polymer such as a sodium acrylate copolymer. These absorbent materials may be used singly or in combination of two or more. The first and second absorbent layers may be absorbent members having the same structure, or may be absorbent members having different structures.
In the above embodiment, as shown in fig. 1 and 6, the first absorbent layer 21A is located at least in the crotch region a in plan viewCIs measured (i.e., is aligned with a width-direction central axis C extending in the longitudinal direction L)LOverlapped portion) having a through-hole 21A penetrating the first absorption layer 21A in the thickness direction TSAnd, as shown in FIG. 1, the second absorption layer 21B is also in the crotch region ACAnd the through hole 21A of the first absorption layer 21A in the thickness direction TSThe overlapped position is provided with a through hole 21A having a larger diameter in a plan viewSA through-hole 21B having a small size shape and penetrating the second absorption layer 21B in the thickness direction TS. These through holes 21ASAnd a through hole 21BSThe through holes communicate in the thickness direction T, and are formed as a whole to penetrate the absorbent body 21 in the thickness direction T and have opening areas that differ stepwise in the thickness direction T.
When the absorbent body has such through holes, absorption of the excreta liquid in the thickness direction T can be promoted, and therefore, more excellent absorption performance (particularly absorption rate) can be exhibited.
In the absorbent article of the present invention, the absorbent body does not need to be constituted by the 2-layer absorbent layer as in the above-described embodiment, and the absorbent body may be constituted by an absorbent member having a single-layer structure or may be constituted by an absorbent member having a multi-layer structure of 3 or more layers.
The weight per unit area, thickness, and the like of the absorbent member that can be used as the absorbent layer constituting the absorbent body are not particularly limited as long as the absorbent member has various properties (for example, absorbency, flexibility, and the like) that can function as the absorbent body of the absorbent article, and any weight per unit area, thickness, and the like can be adopted.
In addition, in the above-described embodiment, the absorber 21 has the following outer shape: in the crotch region ACAt the two ends in the width direction W (i.e., one end 21E in the width direction W)3And the other end edge 21E4) The base portions 41 of the pair of leakage preventing wall portions are tapered inward in the width direction W, compared to the portions located inward in the width direction W at the inner end edges in the width direction W. When the absorber 21 has such an outer shape, the crotch region ACIn this configuration, since the absorbent body 21 has a small influence on the rigidity and the degree of freedom in deformation and movement of the pair of leakage preventing wall portions is increased, the pair of leakage preventing wall portions can be brought into close contact with each other while following the body shape of the wearer (the shape of the crotch portion) when the diaper 1 is worn by the wearer. Therefore, the urine pad 1 including the absorber 21 having such an outer shape is less likely to form a gap between the body (crotch portion) of the wearer and the pair of leakage-preventing wall portions, and therefore, side leakage of the discharged liquid can be more reliably prevented.
In the above embodiment, the absorber 21 is disposed in the abdominal region aFAnd a back region ABIs arranged to have both end edges in the width direction W of the absorber 21 (i.e., one side end edge 21E in the width direction W)3And the other end edge 21E4) And a portion located on the outer side in the width direction W than the outer side end edge in the width direction W of each of the second joining portions 45 of the pair of leakage preventing wall portions. With such an arrangement of the absorbent body 21, even in a case where the wearer lies down (that is, in a case where the excretory fluid discharged from the wearer is likely to flow in the direction of gravity (more specifically, in a direction toward the outer side in the width direction W of the absorbent main body portion 2)), the excretory fluid flowing toward the outer side in the width direction W can be reliably absorbed by the absorbent body 21, and side leakage of the excretory fluid can be more reliably prevented.
In the absorbent article of the present invention, the liquid flow control portions of the pair of leakage preventing wall portions may be disposed at least in the back region, but in the urine pad 1 of the above-described embodiment, the liquid flow control portion F is disposed in the back regionCAre respectively arranged in the abdominal region AFAnd a back region ABAnd, as shown in figure 1,the absorbent body 21 is disposed in the absorbent main body 2 such that the abdomen area side end edge 21E in the longitudinal direction L of the absorbent body 21 in a plan view2Is arranged in the abdominal region AFLiquid flow control part FCOf the inner side end edges in the width direction W of the second joint portion 45, an inner side end portion 45E located on the innermost side in the longitudinal direction LiAnd is located on the outer side in the longitudinal direction L, and both end edges in the width direction W of the absorber 21 (i.e., one end edge 21E in the width direction W)3And the other end edge 21E4) In the abdominal region AFThe inner end edge of the base portion 41 in the width direction W is located on the outer side in the width direction W.
With such an arrangement of the absorbent body 21, even in a case where the wearer lies in a prone posture (that is, in a case where the excretory fluid discharged from the wearer is likely to flow in the direction of gravity (more specifically, in a direction toward the outer side in the width direction W of the absorbent main body unit 2)), the absorbent body can be used even when it is arranged in the abdominal region aFLiquid flow control part FCReliably prevent the abdominal region AFThe side leakage of the excretory fluid in (b) and the leakage from the abdomen side in the longitudinal direction L are also less likely to occur.
[ embossed portion ]
In the above embodiment, the absorbent main body 2 has a pair of embossed portions 3, and the pair of embossed portions 3, 3 are respectively arranged on the width direction central axis C extending in the longitudinal direction LLDivided width direction first region AW1And a second region A in the width directionW2And is recessed in the thickness direction T from the skin-facing surface. As shown in FIG. 1, the pair of embossed portions 3, 3 have a crotch region A in the crotch partCThe top sheet 22 and the absorbent body 21 are integrated by compression, while being recessed from the skin-facing surface side in the thickness direction T of the absorbent body 2 in a linear planar shape extending in the longitudinal direction L. The embossed portion may be formed by compressing the absorbent main body portion in the thickness direction T from the skin-facing surface using any embossing mechanism, which may be heated or unheated.
In the present embodiment, the pair of embossed portions 3 and 3 are arranged such that the total length of the width direction length from the embossed portion 3 to the inner side end edge in the width direction W of the base portion 41, the width direction length of the first wall portion 42, and the width direction length of the second wall portion 43 is greater than the total length from the width direction central axis CLThe width direction length up to the embossed portion 3 (specifically, up to the center line in the width direction of the embossed portion 3) is long. When the pair of embossed portions 3, 3 are arranged in this manner, the pair of embossed portions 3, 3 serve as bending starting points, and the absorbent main body 2 is easily folded along the widthwise central axis C of the absorbent main body 2LThe extended width direction central part protrudes toward the skin-facing surface side (i.e., along the longitudinal direction central axis C)WThe cross-sectional shape of (2) is substantially W-shaped), and the rising height of the pair of leakage preventing wall portions is likely to be higher than the protruding height of the widthwise central portion protruding toward the skin-facing surface side, so that the skin-facing surface of the widthwise central portion of the absorbent body portion 2 can be brought into close contact with or close to the crotch portion of the wearer, and the absorbent body 21 can easily absorb the excreted liquid discharged from the wearer, and the side leakage of the excreted liquid can be more reliably prevented.
In the present invention, the pair of embossed portions need not necessarily be formed so as to integrate the topsheet and the absorbent body as in the above-described embodiment, and may be formed only in the absorbent body, for example.
In the present invention, the shape of the embossed portion in a plan view is not particularly limited, and any shape such as a wavy line, a curved line, and a zigzag shape may be adopted in addition to the linear shape as in the above-described embodiment. Since the embossed portion is not an essential component of the absorbent article of the present invention, the absorbent article of the present invention may not have such an embossed portion.
< leakage preventing wall >
In the urine pad 1 of the above embodiment, the pair of leakage preventing wall portions is formed by the pair of side sheets 4, 4 which are respectively positioned at both ends in the width direction W of the absorbent main body portion 2 and continuously extend to both ends in the longitudinal direction L. In the vicinity of the inner side edge portions in the width direction W of the pair of side sheets 4 and 4, 5 elastic members EL capable of contracting the pair of side sheets 4 and 4 in the longitudinal direction L are arranged.
Hereinafter, various structural members that can form the pair of leakage preventing wall portions in the absorbent article of the present invention will be described in more detail using the urine pad 1 of the above-described embodiment.
[ side sheet ]
In the above embodiment, the pair of side sheets 4 and 4 are disposed at both ends in the width direction W of the absorbent main body 2 on the skin-facing surface side of the absorbent main body 2 (more specifically, on the skin-facing surface side of the top sheet 22), and are formed of a pair of band-shaped liquid-impermeable sheets that are long in the longitudinal direction L and that can function as a leakage preventing wall by rising at the inner side end edge in the width direction W when the diaper 1 is worn.
In the present invention, the belt-shaped liquid-impermeable sheet that can be used as the side sheet is not particularly limited as long as it has various characteristics (for example, liquid impermeability, skin touch, flexibility, strength (particularly, strength when wet), and the like) that can be used as the side sheet of the absorbent article, and for example, a hydrophobic nonwoven fabric (for example, a spunbond nonwoven fabric, a point-bond nonwoven fabric, an SMS nonwoven fabric, and the like, which have hydrophobicity or are imparted with hydrophobicity) can be used; a synthetic resin film having liquid impermeability; a laminate thereof, and the like.
The shape, weight per unit area, thickness, and the like of the belt-shaped liquid-impermeable sheet that can be used as the side sheet are not particularly limited as long as the effects of the present invention are not impaired, and any shape, weight per unit area, thickness, and the like can be adopted according to the desired liquid-impermeability, skin touch, flexibility, and the like.
In the above embodiment, the pair of side sheets 4, 4 may be formed with a pair of leakage preventing wall portions that rise toward the skin-facing surface side from the inner end edge in the width direction W as the free end portion when the diaper 1 is worn, and that prevent the leakage preventing wall portions from rising from the wearing sideThe leakage preventing wall functions to prevent the leakage of the discharged liquid such as urine. As described above, each of the pair of leakage preventing wall portions includes: a base portion 41 facing the absorbent body portion 2 and fixed to the absorbent body portion 2; a first wall portion 42 connected to an inner side end edge of the base portion 41 in the width direction W on the skin-facing surface side of the base portion 41, and rising toward the skin-facing surface side at a portion on the inner side in the length direction L when worn; and a second wall portion 43 connected to the outer side end edge of the first wall portion 42 in the width direction W on the skin-facing surface side of the first wall portion 42, and rising toward the skin-facing surface side at an inner side portion in the length direction L during wearing, and extending in the abdominal region aFAnd a back region ABComprises the liquid flow control part FCThe liquid flow control part FCIs arranged to include the end edge of the side sheet 4 in the longitudinal direction L, has a predetermined longitudinal length and a predetermined width length, and is positioned at a position closer to the liquid flow control portion F than the liquid flow control portionCThe part near the inner side of the length direction L is provided with a rising non-control part SPThe rising non-control part SPHas the same structure and function as a general leakage preventing wall.
As described above, the liquid flow control part FCThe device is composed of: a first joining portion 44 having a predetermined longitudinal length, joining the base portion 41 and an outer portion of the first wall portion 42 in the longitudinal direction L; and a second joining portion 45 joining the outer side portions of the first wall portion 42 and the second wall portion 43 in the longitudinal direction L, and having a longitudinal length of an inner side end edge in the width direction W equal to or longer than a longitudinal length of the first joining portion 44 and shorter than a longitudinal length of an outer side end edge in the width direction W, and a liquid flow control portion FCBy controlling the rising structure of the first wall portion 42 and the second wall portion 43, the excretory fluid discharged from the wearer can be enclosed in the fluid flow control portion FCThe cavity F between the rising structure of (2) and the surface of the skin-facing surface of the absorbent body 2SCan be guided to the longitudinal direction L so as to be directed inward in the width direction WThe excretory fluid flowing on the outer side of the body.
The pair of side sheets 4 and 4 are joined to the absorbent body 21 (more specifically, the first absorbent layer 21A) at positions on the outer side in the width direction W than the liquid flow control portion Fc, and the joining portions (hereinafter, sometimes referred to as "third joining portions") are arranged at both end edges in the width direction W of the absorbent body 21 (that is, one end edge 21E in the width direction W of the absorbent body 21) in the width direction W3And the other end edge 21E4) A position overlapping in the thickness direction T or a position inward in the width direction W from both end edges. When the pair of side sheets 4, 4 and the absorbent body 21 are joined together, that is, the third joined portion, is a portion which is a starting point of the leakage preventing wall when the pair of side sheets 4, 4 rise toward the skin-facing surface side to form the leakage preventing wall, and is also a portion in which the flowing excreta liquid is controlled by the liquid flow control portion Fc, but if such a third joined portion is disposed at a position overlapping both end edges in the width direction W of the absorbent body 21 in the thickness direction T or at a position closer to the inner side in the width direction W than the both end edges as described above (that is, if the absorbent body 21 extends in the width direction W to a position overlapping the third joined portion in the thickness direction T or to a position closer to the outer side in the width direction W than the third joined portion), even if the excreta liquid remaining at or near the third joined portion is intended to exude to the outer side in the width direction W via the surface sheet 22 or the like, the third joined portion may be extended to a position overlapping the thickness direction T or the third joined portion Since the extended portion of the absorber 21 located on the outer side in the width direction W absorbs the excreted liquid, side leakage of the excreted liquid can be more reliably prevented.
In the present invention, the arrangement form of the third joining portion may be applied to either or both of the abdominal region and the back region, but is preferably applied to at least the back region to which the body pressure of the wearer is easily applied. Since this back region is a region where leakage of excretory fluid is likely to occur due to the body pressure of the wearer, the operational effects of the arrangement of the third joint portion can be more effectively exhibited.
In the present invention, the joining form of the pair of side sheets and the absorbent main body is not limited to such a form, and for example, the pair of side sheets may be joined to the liquid-impermeable back film or the back sheet on the outer side in the width direction than the liquid flow control portion.
In the present invention, the joining means that can be used to form the joining portions such as the first joining portion, the second joining portion, and the third joining portion is not particularly limited as long as the effect of the present invention is not impaired, and any joining means such as an adhesive means such as a hot melt adhesive, and a welding means such as ultrasonic welding may be used.
In the above embodiment, the liquid flow control portion FCThe inner side end edge in the longitudinal direction L of the first joint portion 44 extends linearly along the width direction W. In this way, if the inner side end edge in the longitudinal direction L of the first joint portion 44 linearly extends along the width direction W, the rising structure of the first wall portion 42 and the second wall portion 43 rising with the inner side end edge in the longitudinal direction L of the first joint portion 44 as a starting point is easily stabilized, and the liquid flow control portion F can be more reliably exhibitedCThe function of (c).
In the present embodiment, as described above, the liquid flow control portion FCAre respectively arranged in the abdominal region AFAnd a back region ABThe absorbent body 21 is disposed in the absorbent main body 2 so that the abdomen area side end edge 21E in the longitudinal direction L in a plan view2An inner side end 45E positioned further inward in the longitudinal direction L than an inner side end edge in the width direction W of the second joint portion 45iIs located on the outer side in the longitudinal direction L, and both end edges in the width direction W of the absorber 21 are located at least in the abdomen area AFAnd a back region ABThe inner end edge of the base portion 41 in the width direction W is located on the outer side in the width direction W than the inner end edge of the base portion 41 in the width direction W, and therefore, even when the wearer lies in the prone position (i.e., the excretion discharged from the wearer)In the case where the liquid is likely to flow in the direction toward the abdomen side in the longitudinal direction L), the liquid may be used by being disposed in the abdomen area aFLiquid flow control part FCReliably prevent the abdominal region AFThe side leakage of the excretory fluid in (b) and the leakage from the abdomen side in the longitudinal direction L are also less likely to occur.
[ elastic Member ]
In the above embodiment, as shown in fig. 1, 5 (a plurality of) elastic members EL for causing the pair of side sheets 4, 4 to contract in the longitudinal direction L and promoting the rising of the inner side end edges in the width direction W are arranged along the longitudinal direction L in the vicinity of the inner side end edges in the width direction W of the pair of side sheets 4, respectively.
In the present invention, the plurality of elastic members disposed on the pair of side sheets are not particularly limited as long as they are made of a material capable of exerting a longitudinal contractive force on the absorbent main body in the expanded state (specifically, the absorbent main body is applied via the pair of side sheets), and for example, a rubber thread made of natural rubber or flat rubber; an optional elastic member such as an elastic member obtained by molding a thermoplastic elastomer such as polyurethane or ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA) into a linear or ribbon shape.
The size and shape of the elastic member that can be used in the absorbent article of the present invention are not particularly limited as long as the absorbent main body in the expanded state can be contracted in the longitudinal direction via the side sheet, and any size and shape according to the application, size, and the like of the absorbent article can be adopted. The dimension and shape as described above are, for example, such that the length of the elastic member in the longitudinal direction is 1/4 or more, preferably 1/3 or more, of the total length of the absorbent article, and the fineness is in the range of 200dtex to 800dtex, preferably 300dtex to 700 dtex. The number of the elastic members is not particularly limited as long as the absorbent main body in the expanded state can be contracted in the longitudinal direction via the side sheets, and the elastic members may be disposed in any number of the pair of leakage preventing wall portions, such as 1, 2, or 3 or more.
In the urine pad 1 of the above embodiment, as shown in fig. 1, the length in the longitudinal direction of the elastic member EL located on the outer side in the width direction W is longer than the length in the longitudinal direction of the elastic member EL located on the inner side in the width direction W of the 5 (a plurality of) elastic members EL arranged on the pair of leakage preventing wall portions (side sheets). In this way, if the length of the elastic member EL in the longitudinal direction on the outer side in the width direction W is longer than the length of the elastic member EL in the longitudinal direction on the inner side in the width direction W, the rising structure formed by the first wall portion 42 and the second wall portion 43 is easily maintained on the outer side portions in the width direction W of the pair of leakage preventing wall portions, and the durability against the excretion toward the outer side in the width direction W can be further ensured, while the degree of freedom of deformation and movement is increased on the inner side portions in the width direction W of the pair of leakage preventing wall portions (that is, the portions serving as the rising start points and the portions serving as the top portions of the pair of leakage preventing wall portions), and the pair of leakage preventing wall portions can be easily brought into close contact with each other while following the body shape (shape of the crotch portion) of the wearer. Thus, the urine pad 1 provided with the plurality of elastic members can exhibit a better leakage preventing function of the pair of leakage preventing wall portions.
In the urine pad 1 of the above embodiment, each of the pair of leakage preventing wall portions has a constricted region formed so as to be contractible in the longitudinal direction L by the plurality of elastic members EL in a plan view and extending in the longitudinal direction L, and the longitudinal length of a portion of the constricted region located inward in the width direction W is formed longer than the longitudinal length of a portion located outward in the width direction W. In this way, if the longitudinal length of the portion located inward in the width direction W is formed longer than the longitudinal length of the portion located outward in the width direction W in the constricted region of each of the pair of leakage preventing wall portions, the portion serving as the apex portion is less likely to be rolled up in each of the pair of leakage preventing wall portions, and the leakage preventing function of the pair of leakage preventing wall portions can be more reliably exhibited.
In the above embodiment, as shown in fig. 1, the absorber 21 includes: a wide part 21M, the wide part 21M being in the abdomen area AFThe portion of the middle absorbent body 21 having the longest length in the width direction W; and a narrow part 21N, the narrow part 21N being in the abdomen area AFAnd crotch region ACBoundary portion ofThe length of the absorber 21 in the width direction W is longer than the length of the wide portion 21M in the width direction W (i.e., the abdomen area a)FThe maximum length of the absorber 21 in the width direction W) is small, and the narrow portion 21N overlaps the contracted region in a plan view. Thus, in the abdominal region AFAnd crotch region ACIf the boundary portion of (2) has a length ratio in the width direction W of the absorbent body 21 to the abdomen area AFIn the narrow-width portion 21N having the largest length in the width direction W of the absorbent body 21 in (b), the rigidity of the urine pad 1 having the portion having the narrow-width portion 21N is relatively lowered, and therefore, when the urine pad 1 is worn, the urine pad 1 is easily bent so that the surface on the skin-facing surface side is recessed from the portion having the narrow-width portion 21N. In addition, since the narrow width portion 21N overlaps the contracted region in plan view of the urine pad 1, the abdomen region a having a large curvature is formed when the urine pad 1 is wornFAnd crotch region ACThe second wall portion 43 of the leakage preventing wall portion is likely to rise toward the skin-facing surface side while maintaining a planar form substantially parallel to the surface of the absorbent main body portion 2 on the skin-facing surface side, as shown in fig. 7. Thus, the diaper 1 can secure a portion (i.e., the abdominal region a) having a larger curvature when worn more largelyFAnd crotch region ACThe boundary portion of (b) and the skin surface of the wearer (in other words, a gap can be made difficult to form between the leakage preventing wall portion and the skin surface of the wearer), and therefore, side leakage of the excretory fluid can be prevented more reliably.
The present invention can be applied to various absorbent articles such as disposable diapers, sanitary napkins, and incontinence pads, in addition to the urine pads of the above embodiments. The absorbent article of the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments, and may be appropriately combined, substituted, modified, and the like without departing from the object and spirit of the present invention. In the present specification, ordinal numbers such as "first" and "second" are used to distinguish items to which the ordinal numbers are attached, and do not mean the order, priority, importance, and the like of the items.
