Image segmentation, i.e. image detection, requires the separation of the skin under investigation from the external environment. Because the color of the surrounding environment is different from the color of the skin of the human face, the color space can be established to clearly express the color information of the skin of the human body in the image to be processed, so that the aims of segmenting the image and highlighting the characteristic information to be detected can be fulfilled. It will be appreciated that among the wide variety of color spaces, the RGB color space is the most fundamentally most convenient one. Generally, when an image is taken, the RGB color space is used for recording the color information of the image. The RGB color space based on the three RGB basic colors of nature superimposes the red, green and blue colors in the space during the program, and thus can generate almost all other colors. Although this RGB color space has the advantage of being easy to understand, its disadvantages are also very significant: its uniformity is very poor and is easily affected by the brightness of the light. For this reason, it is preferable to convert the most frequently used RGB color space into the HSV color space, which is more easily distinguished. In the HSV color space, H represents hue, V represents lightness, and S represents saturation. Since the luminance component and the chrominance component are separated and have no direct connection with each other, the picture segmentation in this HSV color space is more advantageous. The HVS color space is more human-perceptible to nuances and variations in color than the RGB color space.
For example, there are two points in the image, and the gray scale difference between them is: (2, 3, 1), if the point is distributed in the whole image, and the respective gray scale difference between the point and the 8 adjacent points around the point is calculated, then the calculated times of each gray scale difference are counted, so as to draw a histogram of the gray scale difference of the whole image according to the calculated times of each gray scale difference. And finally, calculating the gray difference according to the drawn histogram, and then taking the probability p of different values.
In the process of analyzing the extracted characteristic information, when the probability p1 that the gray value with a larger value is calculated is large, the skin is fine and smooth; if the probability p2 that the gray value of a smaller value is calculated is large, it indicates that the skin is rough.
