Description

Method and device for reporting channel state information
The application is a divisional application of Chinese patent application with the application date of 2017, 7, 3 and the application number of 201710531521.3, and the invention name of the method and the device for reporting the channel state information.
Technical Field
The present application relates to the field of wireless communications technologies, and in particular, to a method and an apparatus for reporting channel state information.
Background
In the Long Term Evolution Advanced (LTE-a) system, each radio frame is 10ms in length and is equally divided into 10 subframes. One downlink Transmission Time Interval (TTI) is defined over one subframe. Fig. 1 is a schematic diagram of a frame structure of a Frequency Division Duplex (FDD) system, where each downlink subframe includes two time slots, and each time slot includes 7 Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) symbols for a general Cyclic Prefix (CP) length; for extended CP length, each slot contains 6 OFDM symbols.
Fig. 2 is a schematic diagram of a subframe structure in an LTE system, where n is equal to 1, 2, or 3 for first n OFDM symbols, and is used to transmit Downlink Control Information (DCI), which includes a Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH) and other Control Information; the remaining OFDM symbols are used to transmit a Physical Downlink Shared Channel (PDSCH). The basic granularity of Resource allocation is a Physical Resource Block (PRB) pair, where one PRB includes 12 consecutive subcarriers in frequency and corresponds to one slot in time. Two PRBs in two slots on the same subcarrier within one subframe are referred to as one PRB pair. Within each PRB pair, each Resource Element (RE) is the smallest unit of time-frequency resources, i.e., one subcarrier in frequency and one OFDM symbol in time. The REs may be used for different functions, respectively, for example, a part of the REs may be used for transmitting a Cell-specific Reference Signal (CRS), a user-specific Demodulation Reference Signal (DMRS), a Channel State Information Reference Signal (CSI-RS), a PDCCH, and a PDSCH, etc.
In an LTE system, PDSCH and PUSCH transmissions are scheduled and transmitted through a PDCCH or an Enhanced Physical Downlink Control Channel (EPDCCH), wherein resources for transmitting PDSCH and PUSCH are also allocated through a resource allocation signaling in the PDCCH/EPDCCH, a maximum resource allocated for transmitting PDSCH and PUSCH is all PRB pairs within the entire system bandwidth, a minimum resource allocated for transmitting PDSCH and PUSCH is one PRB pair within the entire system bandwidth, the granularity of resource allocation is one PRB pair, for a normal CP system, the time domain includes 14 OFDM symbols, and for an extended CP system, the time domain includes 12 OFDM symbols.
In order to enable the base station to determine an appropriate Modulation and Coding Scheme (MCS) according to the quality of a Channel when scheduling PDSCH transmission, the UE needs to feed back Channel State Information (CSI), and the CSI report includes a periodic CSI report and an aperiodic CSI report. In the LTE system, the following assumptions are made when the UE feeds back CSI: obtaining the CP characteristic of the system, namely whether the CP is an extended CP or a normal CP, according to the detection, and then determining the OFDM symbol number of each subframe according to the CP characteristic; for normal CP, each subframe includes 14 OFDM symbols, and for extended CP, each subframe includes 12 OFDM symbols; according to the number of ports of the CRS obtained by detection, the CRS may have 1, 2 or 4 ports, and according to the number of ports of the CRS, which REs can not be used for PDSCH transmission is determined; it is assumed that the first three OFDM symbols within each subframe are used for transmission of control signaling and cannot be used for transmission of PDSCH. Then, when calculating the CSI, the resources for transmitting the PDSCH are the total number of OFDM symbols determined according to the CP characteristics minus three, and the resources for transmitting the CRS are removed from the remaining OFDM symbols, as shown in fig. 3. While the resources occupied by other possible transmitted signals (e.g., CSI-RS, synchronization signals, etc.) and the like are not considered in calculating CSI.
In a New air interface (NR) transmission system, there are the following changes in transmission resources: the resources for transmitting DCI no longer occupy the whole system bandwidth, and for a normal CP, the time domain length for transmitting PDSCH resource blocks is no longer necessarily 14 OFDM symbols, and the PDSCH Demodulation is not mainly performed by using CRS, but mainly performed by using user-specific Demodulation Reference Signal (DMRS). After the above changes occur, if the CSI is still calculated according to the existing method, it is obvious that the resource for transmitting the PDSCH cannot be accurately determined, thereby affecting the transmission performance of the PDSCH.

Detailed Description
For the purpose of making the objects, technical means and advantages of the present application more apparent, the present application will be described in further detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
First, problems that may be caused by various changes occurring in transmission resources in a transmission system of a new air interface are analyzed. Firstly, the resources for transmitting the DCI do not occupy the whole system bandwidth any more, so the resources for transmitting the DCI need to be considered again when the CSI is calculated; secondly, for a normal CP, the time domain length of the PDSCH resource block is no longer necessarily 14 OFDM symbols, and may be the number of OFDM symbols such as 7, 28, and 56, and the number of OFDM symbols for PDSCH transmission may not be completely determined by the CP characteristics, so that the total resources for PDSCH transmission need to be considered again when CSI is calculated; since the PDSCH is not demodulated mainly using CRS but mainly using DMRS any more, resources for transmitting reference signals other than PDSCH also need to be reconsidered when calculating CSI. Based on this, in the present application, the occupation status of the transmission resources is considered again, so that the invention aims to determine the resources for transmitting the PDSCH more accurately when calculating the CSI, thereby improving the performance of the transmitted PDSCH.
Fig. 4 is a basic flowchart of a CSI reporting method proposed in the present application, and as shown in fig. 4, the method includes the following steps:
step 401: the UE determines the number of resources occupied by the DMRS when the CSI is calculated;
since DMRSs are mostly used for demodulating PDSCH in all transmission modes in the NR system, the relative number of DMRSs is large, and the influence on the PDSCH transmission performance is also large, so that the number of resources occupied by accurate DMRSs needs to be determined.
Step 402: and determining the number of resources used for PDSCH transmission when the CSI is calculated according to the number of resources occupied by the DMRS determined in the step 401.
When the number of resources for PDSCH transmission is determined, the number of resources for PDSCH transmission can be accurately determined according to the number of resources occupied by the DMRS determined in step 401, thereby ensuring PDSCH transmission performance.
Specifically, when calculating the number of resources used for PDSCH transmission, preferably, the resources of DCI and reference symbol may be removed from the total number of resources occupied by the time domain transmission block where the PDSCH is located, so as to determine the number of resources left for PDSCH transmission when calculating CSI. Wherein the removed reference symbols include at least the DMRS. CRS and/or CSI-RS may or may not be removed.
In more detail, the total number of resources occupied by the time domain transmission block in which the PDSCH is located when the CSI is calculated as described herein may be a total number of resources of all OFDM symbols in the time domain transmission block in which the PDSCH is located, where the time domain transmission block refers to, for example, one time slot, or a micro time slot, or a plurality of time slots. As mentioned above, since the DCI may not occupy the full bandwidth, the number of resources occupied by the DCI when calculating the CSI also needs to be determined. The CSI at least includes all information in the current CSI, such as Rank Indication (RI), Precoding Matrix Indication (PMI), and/or Channel Quality Indication (CQI), and the CSI may further include other additional information as needed.
Step 403: the UE calculates and reports the CSI according to the number of resources for PDSCH transmission when calculating the CSI, which is determined in step 402.
The technical solution of the present application is further described in detail by means of several preferred embodiments.
Example one
In this embodiment, a determination method of the total number of resources occupied by the time domain transmission block where the PDSCH is located when the UE calculates the CSI is described. Specifically, since the CSI is calculated by the corresponding time domain transmission block, the total number of resources corresponds to the total number of OFDM symbols in the time domain transmission block (e.g., a subframe or a slot, or a plurality of slots), that is, the total number of OFDM symbols in the time domain transmission block. There are several methods for determining the total number of OFDM symbols in a time domain transmission block as follows.
The method comprises the following steps:
for the total number M of OFDM symbols in the time domain transmission block (M is a positive integer), the UE may be determined according to a preset setting, which may be specified by a protocol format, for example, the total number M of OFDM symbols in the time domain transmission block is determined to be 14 or 7 in the protocol.
The second method comprises the following steps:
for the total number M of OFDM symbols in the time domain transmission block, the UE may determine according to the characteristics of the received synchronization signal or information carried by the synchronization signal, or according to other received information or signals (e.g., customized information or customized signals), where the signal may be a reference signal and the information may be transmitted signaling. For example, the total number of OFDM symbols in the time domain transmission block is determined according to at least one of a subcarrier width of an OFDM symbol determined by the received synchronization signal, a CP length, and a sequence of the synchronization signal.
The third method comprises the following steps:
for the total number of OFDM symbols M in the time domain transport Block, the UE may be determined according to indication Information in System Information (e.g., a Master Information Block (MIB) or a System Information Block (SIB)). For example, N (N is a positive integer, determined by a protocol, e.g., N is equal to 1) bits in the system information are used to indicate the total number M of OFDM symbols in the time domain transmission block, and the mapping relationship between the total number M of OFDM symbols in the time domain transmission block and the N bit indication information may be as shown in table 1.
Table 1: mapping relation between total OFDM symbol number M and indication information in time domain transmission block
Indicating information values Total number of OFDM symbols M in time domain transmission block
0 7
1 14
The method comprises the following steps:
for the total number of OFDM symbols M in the time domain transport block, the UE may determine from the received higher layer signaling. For example, the UE determines the total number of OFDM symbols in the time domain transport block to be M through the configuration of receiving higher layer signaling, for example, M may be equal to 7 or 14.
The method five comprises the following steps:
for the total number of OFDM symbols M in the time domain transport block, the UE may determine from the received physical layer signaling. Specifically, the UE may determine, by receiving physical layer signaling, that the total number of OFDM symbols in the indicated time domain transmission block is M, for example, N (N is a positive integer determined by a protocol or configured by higher layer signaling, e.g., N is equal to 1) bits are used to indicate the total number of OFDM symbols M in the time domain transmission block, and a mapping relationship between the total number of OFDM symbols M in the time domain transmission block and the indication information of the N bits may be as shown in table 1. The total number of OFDM symbols in the time domain transmission block for periodic CSI or aperiodic CSI may be determined from the physical layer signaling indication described above.
In addition, in the existing physical layer signaling, information indicating a CSI report (CQI Request) needs to be included and is located in DCI. For aperiodic CSI or semi-persistent CSI, when indicating M through physical layer signaling, two exemplary ways may be given below in combination with information indicating CSI reporting: 1. the total number M of OFDM symbols in the time domain transmission block of aperiodic CSI can be indicated simultaneously by indicating the information bits of CSI report, that is, the CSI report indication information and the M value are jointly indicated, for example, the CSI report and the M value are jointly indicated by 2-bit information; 2. in the DCI indicating the CSI report information, a set bit may be used to indicate the total number M of OFDM symbols in the time domain transmission block of the aperiodic CSI, that is, in the DCI, different bit information may be used to respectively indicate the CSI report information and the value M, where the method of table 1 may be used to indicate the specific value M.
The method six:
for the total OFDM symbol number M in the time domain transmission block, if the UE has received the high-level signaling configuration or the physical-layer signaling indication indicating the total OFDM number M, the UE determines the total OFDM symbol number M in the time domain transmission block according to the high-level signaling configuration or the physical-layer signaling indication which the UE has received when calculating the CSI, and the total OFDM symbol number M is used for calculating the CSI; if the UE does not receive the high layer signaling configuration indicating the total OFDM number M and also does not receive the physical layer signaling indication indicating the total OFDM number M, the UE may determine the total OFDM symbol number M in the time domain transmission block according to the processing of the method one, the method two, or the method three in this embodiment when calculating the CSI, and use the determined total OFDM symbol number M in the time domain transmission block to calculate the CSI.
Example two
In this embodiment, a method of transmitting a resource occupied by DCI when CSI is calculated is described. In the foregoing first embodiment, the total number of resources occupied by the time domain transmission block in which the PDSCH is located when the CSI is calculated is based on the size of a certain time domain transmission block a, and correspondingly, the number of resources occupied by the DCI determined in this embodiment is also based on the size of the time domain transmission block a, that is, the number of resources in this embodiment and the first embodiment is based on the time domain transmission block with the same size. Specifically, the present embodiment provides the following methods for determining the number of OFDM symbols for transmitting DCI in a time domain transmission block.
The method comprises the following steps:
for the number M1 of OFDM symbols for DCI transmission in the time domain transmission block (M1 is a positive integer), the UE may be determined according to a predetermined setting, which may be specified by a protocol format, for example, the number M1 of OFDM symbols for DCI transmission in the time domain transmission block is determined to be 3 in the protocol.
Alternatively, the UE may determine the total number M of OFDM symbols in the time domain transmission block and the number M1 of OFDM symbols for transmitting DCI in the time domain transmission block at the same time according to a preset setting, where the specific preset setting may be specified by a protocol format, for example, the protocol specifies: the total number of OFDM symbols M in the time-domain transmission block is 7 and the number of OFDM symbols M1 for transmitting DCI is N1, or the total number of OFDM symbols M in the time-domain transmission block is 14 and the number of OFDM symbols M1 for transmitting DCI is N2. Where N1 and N2 are both integers and may be determined by the protocol or configured by higher layer signaling.
Alternatively, the UE may determine the total number M of OFDM symbols in the time domain transmission block and the number M1 of OFDM symbols for transmitting DCI in the time domain transmission block at the same time according to the characteristics of the received synchronization signal or information carried by the synchronization signal, or according to other received information or signal (e.g., custom information or custom signal), where the signal may be a reference signal and the information may be transmitted signaling. For example, the total number of OFDM symbols M in the time domain transmission block and the number of OFDM symbols M1 in the time domain transmission block in which DCI is transmitted are simultaneously determined according to at least one of the subcarrier width of the OFDM symbol determined by the received synchronization signal, the CP length, and the sequence of the synchronization signal.
The third method comprises the following steps:
for the total number of OFDM symbols M1 in the time domain transport Block, the UE may determine according to indication Information in System Information (e.g., a Master Information Block (MIB, Master Information Block) or a System Information Block (SIB, System Information Block)), for example, N (N is a positive integer, determined by a protocol, such as N is equal to 2) bits are used to indicate the number of OFDM symbols M1 for transmitting DCI in the time domain transport Block, and the mapping relationship between the number of OFDM symbols M1 for transmitting DCI in the time domain transport Block and the N-bit indication Information may be as shown in table 2 or table 3.

Alternatively, the UE may determine the total number of OFDM symbols M in the time domain transmission Block and the number of OFDM symbols M1 for transmitting DCI in the time domain transmission Block at the same time according to indication Information in System Information (e.g., a Master Information Block (MIB) or a System Information Block (SIB), System Information Block), for example, N (N is a positive integer, determined by a protocol, e.g., N is equal to 1) bits for indicating the total number of OFDM symbols M in the time domain transmission Block and the number of OFDM symbols M1 for transmitting DCI in the time domain transmission Block, and the mapping relationship between the total number of OFDM symbols M in the time domain transmission Block and the number of OFDM symbols M1 for transmitting DCI in the time domain transmission Block and the indication Information is shown in table 4.

Figure BDA0003557166600000112
The method comprises the following steps:
for the number of OFDM symbols M1 for transmitting DCI in a time domain transport block, the UE may determine from the received higher layer signaling. For example, the UE determines the number of OFDM symbols for transmitting DCI in a time domain transport block to be M1 through the configuration of receiving higher layer signaling, e.g., M1 may be equal to 0, 1, 2, 3, etc.
Alternatively, the UE may determine the total number M of OFDM symbols in the time domain transmission block and the number M1 of OFDM symbols in the time domain transmission block for transmitting DCI at the same time according to the received higher layer signaling. For example, N (N is a positive integer, determined by the protocol, e.g., N is equal to 1) bits are used to indicate the total number M of OFDM symbols in the time domain transmission block and the number M1 of OFDM symbols in the time domain transmission block for transmitting DCI, and the mapping relationship between the total number M of OFDM symbols in the time domain transmission block and the number M1 of OFDM symbols in the time domain transmission block for transmitting DCI and the indication information may be as shown in table 4.
The method five comprises the following steps:
for the number of OFDM symbols M1 for transmitting DCI in a time domain transport block, the UE may determine from the received physical layer signaling. Specifically, the UE may determine, by receiving physical layer signaling, that the number of OFDM symbols for transmitting DCI in the indicated time domain transmission block is M1, for example, N (N is a positive integer determined by a protocol or configured by higher layer signaling, e.g., N is equal to 2) bits are used to indicate the number of OFDM symbols M1 for transmitting DCI in the time domain transmission block, and a mapping relationship between the number of OFDM symbols M1 for transmitting DCI in the time domain transmission block and the N-bit indication information may be as shown in table 2 or table 3. The number of OFDM symbols in the time domain transmission block for periodic CSI or aperiodic CSI for which DCI is transmitted may be determined according to the physical layer signaling indication described above.
In addition, in the existing physical layer signaling, information indicating CSI reporting needs to be included, and the information is located in DCI. For aperiodic CSI or semi-persistent CSI, when M1 is indicated by physical layer signaling, two exemplary ways may be given below in combination with information indicating CSI reporting: 1. the number M1 of OFDM symbols for DCI transmission in the time domain transmission block of the aperiodic CSI may be indicated simultaneously by indicating information bits of the CSI report, that is, the CSI report indication information and the M1 value are jointly indicated, for example, the CSI report and the M1 value are jointly indicated by 2-bit information; 2. the set bits may be used to indicate the number M1 of OFDM symbols for transmitting DCI in a time domain transmission block of aperiodic CSI in DCI indicating CSI report information, that is, different bit information may be used to indicate CSI report information and M1 value in DCI, where the method of indicating a specific M1 value may use the method in table 2 or table 3.
Alternatively, the UE may determine, according to the indication in the physical layer signaling, the total number M of OFDM symbols in the time domain transmission block and the number M1 of OFDM symbols in the time domain transmission block for transmitting DCI at the same time, for example, N (N is a positive integer, determined by the protocol, e.g., N is equal to 1) bits for indicating the total number M of OFDM symbols in the time domain transmission block and the number M1 of OFDM symbols in the time domain transmission block for transmitting DCI, and the mapping relationship between the total number M of OFDM symbols in the time domain transmission block and the number M1 of OFDM symbols in the time domain transmission block for transmitting DCI and the indication information of N bits is shown in table 4.
The method six:
for the number of OFDM symbols M1 for transmitting DCI in the time domain transmission block, if the UE has received a high-level signaling configuration or a physical layer signaling indication indicating the number of OFDM symbols M1 for transmitting DCI, the UE determines the number of OFDM symbols M1 for transmitting DCI in the time domain transmission block according to the high-level signaling configuration or the physical layer signaling indication that the UE has received when calculating CSI, and the number is used for calculating CSI; if the UE does not receive the higher layer signaling configuration indicating the number M1 of OFDM symbols for transmitting DCI, or the physical layer signaling indication indicating the number M1 of OFDM symbols for transmitting DCI, the UE may determine the number M1 of OFDM symbols for transmitting DCI in the time domain transmission block according to the processing of method one, method two, or method three when calculating CSI, and use the determined number M1 of OFDM symbols for transmitting DCI in the time domain transmission block to calculate CSI.
Or, for the number M1 of OFDM symbols for transmitting DCI in the time domain transmission block, if the UE has received a higher layer signaling configuration or a physical layer signaling indication indicating both M and M1, the UE determines the total number M of OFDM symbols in the time domain transmission block where the PDSCH is located and the number M1 of OFDM symbols for transmitting DCI in the time domain transmission block at the same time according to the higher layer signaling configuration or the physical layer signaling indication that the UE has received when calculating the CSI, for calculating the CSI; if the UE does not receive the higher layer signaling configuration indicating M and M1 at the same time, or does not receive the physical layer signaling indication indicating M and M1 at the same time, the UE may determine the total number M of OFDM symbols in the time domain transmission block where the PDSCH is located and the number M1 of OFDM symbols in the time domain transmission block where the DCI is transmitted, and use them to calculate the CSI according to the processing of the method one, the method two, or the method three when calculating the CSI.
The method comprises the following steps:
for the OFDM symbol number M1 for transmitting DCI in the time domain transmission block, the UE may determine, according to the determined total OFDM symbol number M in the time domain transmission block and a preset correspondence between M and M1, for example, the total OFDM symbol number M in the time domain transmission block is 7, 14, 28, or 56, the correspondence between the total OFDM symbol number M in the time domain transmission block and the OFDM symbol number M1 for transmitting DCI in the time domain transmission block may be as shown in table 5, and the OFDM symbol number M1 for transmitting DCI may be determined according to the values in table 5 and M.

EXAMPLE III
In the present embodiment, a determination method of occupying resources by various types of reference symbols when calculating CSI is described.
First, it is described that the resources occupied in calculating which reference symbols the CSI is are to be calculated. Since DMRS is used more for reference signals used to demodulate PDSCH in NR system, the resources occupied by DMRS have a great influence on the performance of PDSCH transmission, and therefore, the resources occupied by DMRS should be removed in calculating CSI in any transmission scheme. And the CRS is almost no longer used for demodulation of PDSCH and may be used for RRM measurement, so the transmission period is longer and the density is reduced, based on which, the influence of the resources occupied by CRS on the performance of PDSCH transmission becomes smaller, so the resources occupied by CRS may not be removed when calculating CSI, or the resources occupied by CRS may be removed when calculating CSI may be set as needed.
As can be seen from the above, when the resource occupied by the reference symbol is removed in the CSI calculation, at least the resource occupied by the DMRS needs to be removed. Next, how to determine the number of resources occupied by the DMRS when calculating CSI is considered. Since the subcarrier width of the OFDM symbol, the CP length of the OFDM symbol, and the number of OFDM symbols occupied by the time domain transmission block in which the PDSCH is transmitted in the NR are all variable, the DMRS pattern and the number of ports are all variable, where the DMRS pattern is the time-frequency density of each DMRS port, and as shown in fig. 5, the resources occupied by the DMRS are the resources occupied by the patterns of all DMRS ports. Therefore, the number of resources occupied by the DMRS needs to be determined, and the pattern and the number of ports of the DMRS resources need to be determined separately. Similarly to the second embodiment, the pattern and the port number of the DMRS resource determined in this embodiment are also based on the size of the time domain transmission block a, that is, the pattern and the port number of the DMRS resource determined here and the total number of resources occupied by the time domain resource block in which the PDSCH is located determined in the first embodiment are based on the time domain transmission block with the same size.
Several methods of determining the pattern of the DMRS resource are described below.
The method comprises the following steps:
for the pattern for transmitting the DMRS resources in the time domain transmission block, the UE may determine according to a preset, and a specific preset may be specified by a protocol, for example, a default DMRS resource pattern specified by the protocol.
The second method comprises the following steps:
for the pattern for transmitting the DMRS resource in the time domain transmission block, the UE may determine the pattern for transmitting the DMRS resource in the time domain transmission block according to at least one of the determined subcarrier width of the OFDM symbol for transmitting the PDSCH, the CP length, the CP overhead, the total number of resources in the time domain transmission block in which the PDSCH is located, and the carrier frequency.
The third method comprises the following steps:
for the pattern for transmitting the DMRS resource in the time domain transport Block, the UE may determine according to indication Information in System Information (e.g., a Master Information Block (MIB) or a System Information Block (SIB), for example, N (N is a positive integer, determined by a protocol, e.g., N is equal to 2) bits for indicating a pattern for transmitting the DMRS resource in the time domain transport Block, and a mapping relationship between the pattern for transmitting the DMRS resource in the time domain transport Block and the indication Information of the N bits may be as shown in table 5.

The method comprises the following steps:
for a pattern of DMRS resources transmitted in a time domain transport block, the UE may determine from the received higher layer signaling. For example, the UE determines a pattern for transmitting DMRS resources in a time domain transmission block by receiving a configuration of higher layer signaling.
The method five comprises the following steps:
for a pattern of transmission of DMRS resources in a time domain transport block, the UE may determine from the received physical layer signaling. Specifically, the UE may determine, by receiving physical layer signaling, a pattern of DMRS resources transmitted in the indicated time domain transmission block, for example, N (N is a positive integer determined by a protocol or configured by higher layer signaling, e.g., N is equal to 2) bits are used to indicate the pattern of DMRS resources transmitted in the time domain transmission block, and a mapping relationship between the pattern of DMRS resources transmitted in the time domain transmission block and the indication information of the N bits may be as shown in table 5.
The method six:
for the patterns of the DMRS resources in the time domain transmission block, if the UE has received the high-level signaling configuration or the physical layer signaling indication indicating the DMRS patterns, the UE determines the patterns of the DMRS resources in the time domain transmission block according to the high-level signaling configuration or the physical layer signaling indication which the UE has received when calculating the CSI, and the patterns are used for calculating the CSI; if the UE does not receive the high-layer signaling configuration indicating the DMRS pattern and does not receive the physical layer signaling indication indicating the DMRS pattern, the UE can determine the pattern for transmitting the DMRS resource in the time domain transmission block according to the processing of the method I, the method II or the method III when the CSI is calculated, and the pattern is used for calculating the CSI.
Several methods of determining the number of ports of DMRS resources when calculating CSI are described below.
The method comprises the following steps:
for the number of ports for transmitting the DMRS in the time domain transmission block, the UE may determine according to a preset configuration, specifically, the preset configuration may be specified by a protocol, for example, the number of ports for transmitting the DMRS in the time domain transmission block is determined to be 4 in the protocol.
Alternatively, the UE may determine, according to the preset, the pattern and the port number of the DMRS resource when calculating the CSI at the same time, and the specific preset may be specified by a protocol format, for example, the protocol specifies: the pattern of the DMRS resource is pattern 1 and the number of ports of the DMRS is M1 ', or the pattern of the DMRS resource is pattern 2 and the number of ports of the DMRS is M2'. Where M1 'and M2' are both integers and may be determined by the protocol or configured by higher layer signaling.
The second method comprises the following steps:
for the number of ports for transmitting the DMRS in the time domain transmission block, the UE may determine the number of ports for transmitting the DMRS in the time domain transmission block according to at least one of the determined subcarrier width of the OFDM symbol for transmitting the PDSCH, the CP length, the CP overhead, the total number of resources in the time domain transmission block in which the PDSCH is located, and the carrier frequency.
Or, the UE may determine the pattern and the port number of the DMRS resource in the time domain transmission block according to at least one of the determined subcarrier width of the OFDM symbol for transmitting the PDSCH, the CP length, the CP overhead, the total number of resources in the time domain transmission block in which the PDSCH is located, and the carrier frequency.
The third method comprises the following steps:
for the number of ports for transmitting DMRS in the time domain transport Block, the UE may determine according to indication Information in System Information (e.g., a Master Information Block (MIB) or a System Information Block (SIB), for example, N (N is a positive integer determined by a protocol, e.g., N is equal to 2) bits for indicating the number of ports for transmitting DMRS in the time domain transport Block.
Alternatively, the UE may simultaneously determine the pattern and the port number of the DMRS resource according to indication Information in System Information (e.g., a Master Information Block (MIB) or a System Information Block (SIB), where, for example, N (N is a positive integer, determined by a protocol, e.g., N is equal to 1) bits are used to indicate the pattern and the number of transmission ports of the DMRS resource in the time-domain transmission Block, and a mapping relationship between the pattern and the number of transmission ports in the time-domain transmission Block and the indication Information is shown in table 6.
Table 6: mapping relation between DMRS resource pattern and port number in time domain transmission block and N bit indication information
Figure BDA0003557166600000161
The method comprises the following steps:
for the number of ports for transmitting the DMRS in the time-domain transport block, the UE may determine according to the received higher layer signaling.
Or, the UE may determine the DMRS resource pattern and the number of ports in the time-domain transport block at the same time according to the received higher layer signaling. For example, N (N is a positive integer, determined by a protocol, e.g., N is equal to 1) bits are used to indicate the DMRS resource pattern and the number of ports in the time domain transmission block, and the mapping relationship between the DMRS resource pattern and the number of ports in the time domain transmission block and the indication information may be as shown in table 6.
The method five comprises the following steps:
for the number of ports for transmitting the DMRS in the time domain transport block, the UE may determine according to the received physical layer signaling. Specifically, the UE may determine, by receiving physical layer signaling, the number of ports for transmitting the DMRS in the indicated time domain transmission block, for example, N (N is a positive integer, determined by a protocol or configured by higher layer signaling, e.g., N is equal to 1) bits are used to indicate the number of ports for transmitting the DMRS in the time domain transmission block, and a specific indication manner may be as shown in table 7.
Table 7: mapping relation between port number for transmitting DMRS and indication information
Figure BDA0003557166600000171
Alternatively, the UE may determine the DMRS resource pattern and the number of ports in the time domain transmission block at the same time according to the indication information in the physical layer signaling, for example, N (N is a positive integer and is determined by a protocol, e.g., N is equal to 1) bits are used to indicate the DMRS resource pattern and the number of ports in the time domain transmission block, and the mapping relationship between the DMRS resource pattern and the number of ports in the time domain transmission block and the indication information of the N bits is shown in table 6.
The method six:
for the port number of the DMRS transmitted in the time domain transmission block, if the UE has received the high-level signaling configuration or the physical layer signaling indication for indicating the port number of the DMRS, the UE determines the port number of the DMRS in the time domain transmission block according to the high-level signaling configuration or the physical layer signaling indication which has been received by the UE when the CSI is calculated, and the port number of the DMRS in the time domain transmission block is used for calculating the CSI; if the UE does not receive the high-layer signaling configuration for indicating the number of the DMRS ports and does not receive the physical layer signaling for indicating the number of the DMRS ports, the UE can determine the number of the DMRS-transmitting ports in the time domain transmission block according to the processing of the method I, the method II or the method III when the CSI is calculated, and the number of the DMRS-transmitting ports is used for calculating the CSI.
Or, for the number of ports for transmitting the DMRS in the time-domain transmission block, if the UE has received a high-level signaling configuration or a physical-layer signaling indication for indicating the DMRS resources and the number of ports at the same time, the UE determines the DMRS resources and the number of ports in the time-domain transmission block according to the high-level signaling configuration or the physical-layer signaling indication that the UE has received when calculating the CSI, and calculates the CSI; if the UE does not receive the high layer signaling configuration for simultaneously indicating the DMRS resources and the number of ports, or the physical layer signaling for simultaneously indicating the DMRS resources and the number of ports, the UE may determine the DMRS resources and the number of ports in the time domain transmission block according to the processing of the first method, the second method, or the third method when calculating the CSI, and may calculate the CSI.
Determining the patterns and port numbers of DMRS resources for calculating CSI, multiplying the two quantities to obtain the resource number M2 occupied by the DMRS when the CSI is calculated, and then determining the resource number X for PDSCH transmission when the CSI is calculated according to the resource number M2, the total number M of resources occupied by the time domain transmission block of the PDSCH determined in the first embodiment and the second embodiment and the resource number M1 occupied by the DCI. The resource number M1 occupied by the DCI and the resource number M2 occupied by the DMRS need to be removed from the total number M of resources occupied by the time-domain transmission block in which the PDSCH is located, and on this basis, the resource number occupied by the CRS may not be removed, and the resource number occupied by the CRS may also be removed, so as to obtain the resource number X used for PDSCH transmission when the CSI is calculated. In addition, the resources occupied by the CSI-RS may or may not be removed. And finally, calculating and reporting the CSI by using the total number M of resources occupied by the time domain transmission block where the PDSCH is located and the number X of resources used for PDSCH transmission.
Example four
First, it is described that when the slot lengths of serving cells configured by a UE are the same, in the same slot, if there is aperiodic CSI reporting, periodic CSI is not reported, because aperiodic CSI is more accurate than periodic CSI, where aperiodic CSI is a CSI report driven by DCI information in a PDCCH, and aperiodic CSI is reported in a PUSCH.
The following describes how to report periodic CSI and aperiodic CSI when a UE configures a plurality of serving cells, and at least two of the serving cells have different slot lengths.
When PUCCH is transmitted in a serving cell with a long slot and PUSCH is transmitted in a serving cell with a short slot, at this time, when UE may start PUCCH transmission in the serving cell with the long slot, periodic CSI is transmitted in the long PUCCH, it is not known whether there is PUSCH transmission in the serving cell with the short slot, and it is also not known whether there is aperiodic CSI reporting, and in the transmission process of PUCCH, it is known that there is PUSCH transmission in a time period where the serving cell with the short slot and PUCCH overlap, and the aperiodic CSI reporting is driven in the PUSCH, as shown in fig. 6. In this case, there are several methods of determining periodic CSI and aperiodic CSI transmission as follows.
The method comprises the following steps:
in the same time period, periodic CSI is to be transmitted in PUCCH in a long slot, PUSCH is to be transmitted in a short slot, and DCI scheduling the PUSCH drives aperiodic CSI reporting. At this time, the periodic CSI may be transmitted in the PUCCH in the long slot, the aperiodic CSI may be transmitted in the PUSCH in the short slot, the PUCCH for transmitting the periodic CSI and the PUSCH for transmitting the aperiodic CSI have an overlapping portion, and the aperiodic CSI includes the aperiodic CSI of all the driven cells, for example, the periodic CSI of the serving cell 1 is transmitted by the PUCCH, the aperiodic CSI of the driven cell includes the aperiodic CSI of the serving cell 1, the aperiodic CSI of the serving cell 2, and the aperiodic CSI of the serving cell 3, and then the aperiodic CSI of the serving cell 1, the aperiodic CSI of the serving cell 2, and the aperiodic CSI of the serving cell 3 are transmitted by the UE in the PUSCH. Or, at this time, the periodic CSI may be transmitted in the PUCCH in the long slot, the aperiodic CSI may be transmitted in the PUSCH in the short slot, the PUCCH for transmitting the periodic CSI and the PUSCH for transmitting the aperiodic CSI have an overlapping portion, and the aperiodic CSI only reports the aperiodic CSI of the serving cell that does not report the periodic CSI in the PUCCH in the aperiodic CSI of all the cells that is driven, for example, the periodic CSI of the serving cell 1 is transmitted by the PUCCH, and the driven aperiodic CSI includes the aperiodic CSI of the serving cell 1, the aperiodic CSI of the serving cell 2, and the aperiodic CSI of the serving cell 3, so that the UE transmits the aperiodic CSI of the serving cell 2 and the aperiodic CSI of the serving cell 3 in the PUSCH and does not report the aperiodic CSI of the serving cell 1 because the periodic CSI of the serving cell 1 has already been transmitted in the PUCCH.
The second method comprises the following steps:
in the same time period, the PUCCH is to be transmitted in a long slot, the PUSCH is to be transmitted in a short slot, and if the PDCCH scheduling PUSCH transmission in a short slot is transmitted t milliseconds before the long PUCCH, that is, periodic CSI is transmitted in the long PUCCH, the UE already knows that the UE is to transmit PUSCH in a serving cell with a short slot, and aperiodic CSI is reported in the PUSCH, at which time the UE may not transmit periodic CSI in the PUCCH and report aperiodic CSI in the PUSCH, as shown in fig. 7. If the PDCCH scheduling PUSCH transmission in a short slot is transmitted t milliseconds before the long PUCCH, that is, the UE starts to transmit periodic CSI in the long PUCCH, the UE does not know that the UE is to transmit PUSCH in a serving cell with a short slot, and reports aperiodic CSI in the PUSCH, and at this time, periodic CSI may be transmitted in the PUCCH in the long slot at the same time, aperiodic CSI is transmitted in the PUSCH in the short slot, the PUCCH transmitting periodic CSI has an overlapping portion with the PUSCH transmitting aperiodic CSI, and the aperiodic CSI includes aperiodic CSI of all cells driven, for example, PUCCH transmits periodic CSI of serving cell 1, and the driven aperiodic CSI includes aperiodic CSI of serving cell 1, aperiodic CSI of serving cell 2, and aperiodic CSI of serving cell 3, the UE transmits aperiodic CSI of serving cell 1, aperiodic CSI of serving cell 2, and aperiodic CSI of serving cell 3 in the PUSCH, as shown in fig. 8. Or, in this case, the periodic CSI may be transmitted in the PUCCH in the long slot, the aperiodic CSI may be transmitted in the PUSCH in the short slot, and the PUCCH in which the periodic CSI is transmitted and the PUSCH in which the aperiodic CSI is transmitted may have an overlapping portion. And the aperiodic CSI only reports the aperiodic CSI of the serving cell that does not report the periodic CSI in the PUCCH among the aperiodic CSI of all the driven cells, for example, the periodic CSI of the serving cell 1 is transmitted by the PUCCH, the driven aperiodic CSI includes the aperiodic CSI of the serving cell 1, the aperiodic CSI of the serving cell 2, and the aperiodic CSI of the serving cell 3, and then the UE transmits the aperiodic CSI of the serving cell 2 and the aperiodic CSI of the serving cell 3 in the PUSCH and does not report the aperiodic CSI of the serving cell 1, as shown in fig. 9. The upper value of t is configured by higher layer signaling or preset by the protocol, e.g., t equals 20 microseconds.
The above is a specific implementation of the CSI reporting method in the present application. The application also provides a CSI reporting device which can be used for implementing the CSI reporting method. Fig. 6 is a schematic diagram of a basic structure of the CSI reporting apparatus. As shown in fig. 6, the apparatus includes a resource number determining unit and a CSI calculation reporting unit.
The resource number determining unit is used for determining the number of resources occupied by the DMRS when the CSI is calculated, determining the number of resources occupied by the DMRS and determining the number of resources used for PDSCH transmission when the CSI is calculated. And the CSI calculation reporting unit is used for calculating and reporting the CSI according to the determined number of the resources for PDSCH transmission.
By the CSI reporting method and the CSI reporting device, the resources for transmitting the PDSCH can be accurately determined when the CSI is calculated, so that the transmission performance of the PDSCH is ensured.
The above description is only for the purpose of illustrating the preferred embodiments of the present invention and is not to be construed as limiting the invention, and any modifications, equivalents, improvements and the like made within the spirit and principle of the present invention should be included in the scope of the present invention.
