Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of environment protection and safety of combustible gas, in particular to an odorant for warning leakage of combustible gas such as natural gas, methane, hydrogen and the like.
Background
At present, most fuel gas used by people is odorless, and in order to ensure that the fuel gas is detected by people at the initial stage of leakage, namely when the explosion limit is not reached, a fuel gas alarm agent with odor is very necessary to be added into the fuel gas. For example, natural gas is colorless and odorless, is inflammable and explosive, and once leakage is difficult to detect in the process of transportation or use, even a trace amount of leakage can be timely detected and remedied after odorous agents for warning gas leakage are added. The addition of odorants is of crucial importance since natural gas concentrations should be detectable when they reach 20% of the lower explosive concentration. The requirement that will satisfy when selecting the gas odorant is more, will mix together gas and the odorant that concentration is lower, will guarantee that the gas has a special warning stink, also will guarantee simultaneously that the odorant can not harm human body, gas management and gas equipment. CJJ/T148-2010 town gas odorizing technical regulation has the following requirements on the quality of the gas odorizing agent: (1) odorant odors should be clearly distinguished from other odors in everyday environments and the odor disappears slowly; (2) under the conditions of temperature and pressure in the gas pipeline system, the odorizing agent should not condense; (3) the degree of the odorant dissolved in water should not be more than 2% (mass fraction); (4) in the period of validity, the odorizing agent stored under the conditions of normal temperature and normal pressure is not decomposed and deteriorated; (5) under the conditions of temperature and pressure of pipeline transportation, the odorizing agent should not have any chemical reaction with the fuel gas and should not cause reaction; (6) the odorizing agent should not produce solid precipitates after combustion; (7) the odorizing agent and its combustion products should not corrode or damage the materials and delivery and distribution systems with which it comes into contact; (8) the odorizing agent should have a level that is noticeable in the air.
At present, the odorizing agent adopted by domestic and overseas town gas is tetrahydrothiophene (abbreviated as THT). The odorization standard is 16-25mg/Nm3Its odor is considered to be the closest to that of the gas being treated. Meanwhile, as the chemical property of the tetrahydrothiophene is very stable, the tetrahydrothiophene is the most stable compound in a plurality of odorants, and compared with other odorants, the tetrahydrothiophene has the advantages of excellent oxidation resistance, stable chemical property and long lasting time of odor retention.
However, the molecular formula of tetrahydrothiophene contains sulfur, and the existence of sulfur not only corrodes equipment pipelines to a certain extent, but also generates sulfur dioxide after being combusted with fuel gas, and certain environmental pollution is caused. With the increasing concern of global and regional environmental problems, the environmental pollution damage caused by natural gas and biomass fuel industries is gradually shown, which leads to the continuous departure of relevant stricter standards and regulations, and in the case of natural gas, new gas quality standards specify that the total sulfur content is not higher than 20mg/m3. The standard has high requirements on the desulfurization of sulfur-containing gas, and the desulfurization process technology or desulfurization solvent needs to be upgraded to realize the standard. Therefore, the search for a sulfur-free substitute product of tetrahydrothiophene will become a great trend in the market.

The first application embodiment:
GB50028-2006 "town gas design Specification" has the following definitions for odorants: an organic compound or mixture with strong odor. When added to gas at very low concentrations, the gas is given a particular unpleasant warning odor so that the leaking gas is perceived when it reaches its lower explosive limit of 20% or a harmful concentration acceptable to humans. The olfactive intensity of the odorant means the intensity of the odor causing the odorant to be perceived. However, the discrimination and strength of the odor are determined according to individual differences, and the odor strength is determined according to the Sales grade adopted in the guidance for natural gas-gas odorization ISO/TS 169922, and the grade is 0-5. As shown in table 1:
TABLE 1
Grade of odor | Sense of smell |
0 | Without bad smell |
0.5 | Very faint odor (lower limit of perception of odor) |
1 | Faint odor |
2 | Moderate odor (warning odor grade) |
3 | Strong stink smell |
4 | The odor is very strong |
5 | Maximum odor (Upper limit of odor feeling) |
When the odor grade reaches grade 2, normal people with normal olfaction ability can detect the existence of gas in the air.

The results obtained are shown in table 2:
TABLE 2
The odor of the diluted composite additive prepared in the embodiments 1 to 6 is very strong, the obtained smell level is 3-4, N-dimethylformamide is not added in the comparative example 1, pyridine is not added in the comparative example 2, and the prepared composite additive has weak odor, so that the preparation method shows that the odor has a synergistic effect when methyl acrylate, ethyl acrylate, N-dimethylacetamide and pyridine are mixed in a proper proportion and used as an odor agent, the odor level of the product can be improved, and the odor has a very high application prospect when the odor is used as a combustible gas leakage warning additive.
Application example two:
the composite additive solution prepared in example 1 of the present invention was left for the same time to examine the stability of the formulation with the change in the content of the main ingredient.
The detection method comprises the following steps:
the composite additive solution prepared in example 1 was left at 20 ℃ for 20 days and 40 days, respectively, and then sampled to detect the contents of the main components.
Temperature rise investigation: the composite additive solution prepared in example 1 was left at 45 ℃ for 20 days and 40 days, respectively, and then sampled to determine the content of the main component. The results are shown in Table 3.
TABLE 3
As can be seen from Table 3, the composite additive provided by the invention has better stability.
