FIG. 2 illustrates a flow diagram of a taskbar display method 200 according to one embodiment of the present invention. The taskbar display method 200 may be performed in the operating system of a computing device (e.g., the aforementioned computing device 100). As shown in fig. 2, the taskbar display method 200 includes steps S210 to S230.
It should be noted that the operating system has a taskbar container adapted to be displayed on one or more display devices connected to the computing device. The display device includes, for example, various types of display screens, projection devices, and the like. It should be noted that the present invention is not particularly limited in the number and variety of display devices connected to the computing device.
Fig. 3 shows a schematic view of a display area 300 on a display device according to an embodiment of the invention. As shown in FIG. 3, the taskbar container 350 may be displayed at a predetermined location of the display area 300 such as may be displayed in a lower sidebar of the display area 300. Here, the present invention is not limited to a specific location where the taskbar container is displayed in the display area.
In an embodiment in accordance with the invention, one or more plug-in modules may be displayed in the taskbar container 350 wherein each plug-in module displayed in the taskbar container 350 is a self-contained module that is custom adjustable, such as the display location and size of each plug-in module may be adjusted. Based on the method, the modularized and custom display of the task bar can be realized.
In one embodiment, as shown in FIG. 3, the plug-in modules include one or more of a start menu plug-in module, a shortcut area plug-in module, a system resource area plug-in module, and a notification area plug-in module. Here, each plug-in module corresponds to a window of a plug-in, and functions or information of the plug-in are provided to the user by displaying the plug-in module in the taskbar container 350 on the screen.
It should be noted that, the start menu plug-in module is used for displaying basic function information of the system, for example, including basic functions of the system such as start menu, work area switching, system searching, etc. The shortcut area plug-in module may be used to display one or more fixed application shortcuts, as well as application icons for one or more open applications. The system resource area plug-in module is used for displaying information such as sound state, network state, keyboard state and the like. The notification area plug-in module may be used to display notification information, time information, etc., received by one or more applications.
As shown in fig. 2, in step S210, a drag operation of a plug-in module by a user is received. Here, the user can drag any one of the plug-in modules displayed in the taskbar container to adjust the display position of the plug-in module.
Subsequently, in step S220, a target display position of the plug-in module is determined according to a drag operation on the plug-in module, and the plug-in module is displayed at the target display position.
It should be noted that in the embodiment of the present invention, the target display position may be any position on the screen. That is, the user may drag the plug-in module within the taskbar container, dragging the plug-in module to other locations in the taskbar container for display. The user can drag the plug-in module in the taskbar container to the outside of the taskbar container for display.
It should be understood that, when the plug-in module is displayed in another area on the screen outside the taskbar container due to the drag operation of the user, the plug-in module may also be used as a plug-in module for drag operation by the user in step S210 so as to drag the plug-in module to any position of the display area of the display device again for display. That is, the drag operation of the plug-in module in step S210 may be a drag operation of any one of the plug-in modules displayed at any position on the screen.
Finally, in step S230, the display positions of the other plug-in modules in the taskbar container are adjusted according to the plug-in modules displayed at the target display positions.
Here, the display positions of the other plug-in modules may be adaptively adjusted according to the target display position of the dragged plug-in module and the size of the dragged plug-in module. In addition, when the target display position of the plug-in module is located outside the taskbar container, the taskbar container is scaled accordingly.
In one embodiment, when the target display position is located within the taskbar container 350, the dragged plug-in module is moved to the target display position within the taskbar container 350 for display, thereby adjusting the display position of the plug-in module within the taskbar container. And, the display positions of other plug-in modules in the taskbar container 350 are adaptively adjusted according to the target display positions after the plug-in modules are redisplayed. For example, if the target display position of a plug-in module is to the right of the original display position, then one or more other plug-in modules located between the original display position and the target display position are adjusted accordingly as the plug-in module is moved to the right to the target display position. FIG. 4 illustrates a schematic diagram of a display area 300 after dragging a plug-in module within a taskbar container 350 according to one embodiment of the present invention, as shown in FIG. 4, by dragging the shortcut plug-in module to the right to the original system resource area plug-in module, the effect shown in FIG. 4 may be finally achieved, i.e., the display position of the system resource area plug-in module within the taskbar container 350 is adaptively adjusted.
Fig. 5-6 illustrate a schematic diagram of a display area 300 for dragging a plug-in module out of a taskbar container 350 according to one embodiment of the present invention. When the target display position is outside the taskbar container, the dragged plug-in module is moved out of the taskbar container and moved to the target display position outside the taskbar container for display, so that the plug-in module is displayed in other areas on the display device which are convenient for the user to operate. Thus, based on the reduced number of plug-in modules displayed in the taskbar container, the operating system may also adaptively scale the taskbar container according to the size of the dragged plug-in module, as shown in FIG. 6, the size (length) of the taskbar container may be adjusted, and the display position of the remaining one or more plug-in modules in the taskbar container within the taskbar container may be adaptively adjusted so that the scaled taskbar container is populated with the remaining one or more plug-in modules in the taskbar container.
According to one embodiment of the present invention, the user may also perform a zoom operation on any one of the plug-in modules in order to adjust the display size of the plug-in module. Specifically, when the operating system receives a zoom operation of the plug-in module by a user, a target size of the plug-in module is determined according to the zoom operation of the user, and the plug-in module is displayed based on the target size.
It should be noted that, according to an embodiment of the present invention, the display position and size of each plug-in module may be customized by drag operation and zoom operation of the plug-in module, so that for a special screen or when the display content in the taskbar container is excessive, the common plug-in module (e.g., the shortcut area plug-in module) may be controlled to be centrally displayed in the taskbar container and the user operation may be facilitated by enlarging the size of the common plug-in module. For the unusual plug-in modules (e.g., start menu plug-in module, system resource region plug-in module) can be adjusted to both ends of the taskbar container and zoomed out for display.
The taskbar display method 200 of the present invention is also applicable to extended screen scenes. Fig. 7 shows a schematic view of a display area 300 of an extension screen according to one embodiment of the invention. In one embodiment, a display device coupled to computing device 100 includes at least a first screen and a second screen. Accordingly, as shown in FIG. 7, the display area 300 includes a first display area 310 and a second display area 320, with the taskbar container displayed in the first display area 310.
When the operating system receives a drag operation of the plug-in module in the taskbar container 350 by a user, if it is determined that the target display position of the plug-in module is on the second screen according to the drag operation, the plug-in module is moved out of the taskbar container and moved to the target display position on the second screen (i.e., the second display area 320) for display. Here, referring to fig. 7, the dragged system resource area plug-in module is located at the second display area 320 at this time. In addition, based on the decrease of plug-in modules displayed in the taskbar container, the operating system may also adaptively scale the taskbar container according to the size of the plug-in modules, for example, may adjust the size (length) of the taskbar container and adaptively adjust the display position of one or more plug-in modules remaining in the taskbar container so that the one or more plug-in modules remaining in the taskbar container are distributed with the scaled taskbar container.
Based on the method, for the extended screen scene, a user can control each independent plug-in module to be displayed on any screen so as to display the plug-in modules on the screen conforming to the operation habit of the user, and the method is beneficial to improving the use experience of the user.
According to one embodiment of the invention, a tool manager is arranged on the operating system, and the tool manager comprises a plurality of plug-ins supporting the taskbar container, wherein the plug-ins comprise plug-ins corresponding to all plug-in modules displayed in the taskbar container currently, and one or more plug-ins not displayed in the taskbar container currently. The user may drag one or more plug-ins in the tool manager into the taskbar container to add plug-in modules corresponding to the one or more plug-ins in the taskbar container. And, the user may also request in the tool manager to delete a plug-in module that has been displayed in the current taskbar container.
Specifically, when an operation of dragging the plug-in the tool manager into the taskbar container by a user is received, a plug-in module corresponding to the plug-in is displayed in the taskbar container. When a user's delete instruction for a plug-in module in the tool manager is received, the plug-in module is deleted from the taskbar container and is no longer displayed in the taskbar container. In this way, when the plug-in modules and information displayed in the taskbar container are more and affect the display effect and the operating system, the plug-in modules that are not commonly used can be deleted in the tool manager.
In addition, the user can expand the plug-ins in the tool manager, and the new plug-ins are imported into the operating system and stored in the tool manager, so that the user can select the new plug-ins from the tool manager to drag the new plug-ins into the taskbar container, and plug-in modules corresponding to the new plug-ins are added into the taskbar container for display.
FIG. 8 illustrates a schematic diagram of a taskbar display device 800 according to one embodiment of the present invention. The taskbar display apparatus 800 resides in an operating system of a computing device (such as the aforementioned computing device 100) and is adapted to perform the taskbar display method 200 of the present invention.
The taskbar display device 800 comprises a receiving unit 810, a display unit 820 and an adjustment unit 830 connected. Wherein the receiving unit 810 is adapted to receive a drag operation on the plug-in module. The display unit 820 is adapted to determine a target display position of the plug-in module according to the drag operation and display the plug-in module at the target display position, which may be any position on the display device. The adjustment unit 830 is adapted to adjust the display positions of other plug-in modules in the taskbar container according to the plug-in modules displayed at the target display positions.
It should be noted that the receiving unit 810 is used for performing the aforementioned step S210, the display unit 820 is used for performing the aforementioned step S220, and the adjusting unit 830 is used for performing the aforementioned step S230. Here, the specific execution logic of the receiving unit 810, the display unit 820 and the adjusting unit 830 refers to the descriptions of steps S210 to S230 in the foregoing method 200, and will not be repeated here.
According to the taskbar display method 200 of the present invention, one or more independent plug-in modules are displayed in the taskbar container, and the display position and size of any one plug-in module can be adjusted by self-definition through the dragging operation and the scaling operation of the plug-in module, and the plug-in module can be dragged to an area outside the taskbar container for display. Thus, the modularized and custom display of the task bar is realized. According to the technical scheme of the invention, for special-shaped screens or application scenes such as excessive display contents in the taskbar container, the common plug-in modules can be controlled to be centrally displayed in the taskbar container, and the user operation is facilitated by enlarging the size of the common plug-in modules. For the plug-in module which is not commonly used, the plug-in module can be adjusted to the two ends of the taskbar container and reduced for display. When the display content in the taskbar container is excessive, some plug-in modules can be dragged to a screen area outside the taskbar area for display. For the extended screen scene, the user can control each independent plug-in module to be displayed on any screen so as to accord with the operation habit of the user and improve the use experience of the user.
