FIG. 2 illustrates a flow diagram of a method 200 for opening a file based on a drag operation, according to one embodiment of the invention. The method 200 of opening a file based on a drag operation may be performed in a file manager 125 of a computing device (e.g., the computing device 100 described above). The document manager 125 includes a corresponding display page 300, the display page 300 of the document manager 125 adapted to be displayed on the system desktop of the computing device 100.
FIG. 3 shows a schematic diagram of a display page 300 of a document manager, according to one embodiment of the invention. As shown in FIG. 3, the display page 300 of the document manager includes a document display area 310 and an application display area 320. Wherein the file display area 310 is used to display one or more files under the selected directory. For example, the directories shown in FIG. 3 include recently used, home directory, desktop, video, picture, music, document, download, and the currently selected is the document directory.
The application display area 320 is used for displaying application icons corresponding to one or more applications. It should be noted that the present invention is not limited in particular to the positions of the file display area 310 and the application display area 320 on the display page 300.
In one embodiment, the application display area 320 is disposed in an edge region on the display page 300, such as an upper edge region, a lower edge region, a left edge region, a right edge region, etc., that may be disposed on the display page 300. In which the application display area 320 shown in fig. 3 is disposed on the upper edge area on the display page 300.
As shown in fig. 2, the method 200 begins at step S210.
In step S210, a drag operation of the user on each file within the file display area 310 is detected. Subsequently, in step S220, if the detected drag operation is an operation of dragging any one of the files within the file display area 310 to a predetermined area, the application list 325 is displayed in the application display area 320 in response to the drag operation. Here, the displayed application list includes application icons corresponding to one or more applications suitable for opening the dragged file. It should be noted that while the application display area 320 displays the application list 325, the file is still in a dragged, unreleased state. That is to say, the application list is presented to the user in the process of dragging the file by the user, so that the user can directly select the application for opening the file in the application list in the process of dragging the file, and the operation steps are simple.
It should be noted that the present invention may configure, in advance, for each type of file, one or more corresponding applications suitable for opening the same type of file, that is, one or more applications corresponding to each file type. In this way, when an operation of dragging a file to a predetermined area is received, by determining the type of the file, corresponding icons suitable for opening one or more applications of the dragged file can be acquired according to the type of the file, and the one or more application icons are displayed in an application list side by side. Here, the present invention does not limit the arrangement order of one or more application icons in the application list, nor the size of each application icon.
In one embodiment, the predetermined region is a region located within a predetermined range outside the edge of the display page 300, that is, when an operation of dragging a file to the predetermined region outside the display page is detected, an application list including one or more applications is displayed in the application display region 320 in response to the dragging operation.
It should be noted that the present invention does not limit the specific arrangement position of the predetermined area with respect to the display page 300. For example, the predetermined area may be any one of a predetermined range area located on the upper side of the display page 300, a predetermined range area located on the lower side of the display page 300, a predetermined range area located on the left side of the display page 300, and a predetermined range area located on the right side of the display page 300. Among them, the predetermined region marked in fig. 3 is a predetermined range region located on the upper side of the display page 300.
Finally, in step S230, when the user continues to drag the file to one of the application icons in the application list, in response to the operation that the user drags the file to one of the application icons in the application list, the dragged file is opened through the application corresponding to the application icon. Here, after the user drags the file to the application icon for opening the file, the file may be released, and the dragging operation for the file may be stopped.
Therefore, the user can directly select the application for opening the file in the application list in the process of dragging the file, and the file can be opened through the corresponding application only by continuously dragging the file to the application icon corresponding to the application for opening the file. Therefore, according to the method 200 of the present invention, in the process of selecting an application to open a file, one step is performed, and only one drag operation is required to select any one application in the application list to open the file, so that the operation steps are simple, and the tedious steps of performing back and forth operations among a plurality of pages are avoided.
According to an embodiment, in the method 200 of the present invention, a drag operation of the user on the application icon may also be detected, so as to add a new application icon in the corresponding application type list based on the drag operation on the application icon. For example, when a new application is installed in the computing device 100, a new application icon is not added to the corresponding application type list, and the user may drag the new application icon to add the new application icon to the corresponding application type list.
It should be noted that multiple types of applications may be installed in the computing device 100 of the present invention, each application type may include one or more applications, and a corresponding application type list may be formed based on the icons of the one or more applications included in each application type. That is, each application type may correspond to an application type list for displaying one or more application icons corresponding to the application type. In addition, the application icon comprises corresponding configuration parameters, and the information such as the application name and the application type corresponding to the application icon can be determined by acquiring the configuration parameters.
In one implementation mode, when a user drags an application icon, a file manager firstly takes the application icon as a file to acquire parameters of the file, whether the dragged application icon is the application icon or not can be judged according to the file parameters, and if the dragged application icon is determined, the dragging operation of the user on the application icon is responded.
Specifically, when it is determined that it is received that the user drags an application icon (for example, an icon of a newly installed application) into the application display area 320, first, by determining an application type corresponding to the dragged application icon, specifically, by acquiring a configuration parameter of the application icon, an application type corresponding to the application icon may be determined according to the configuration parameter, and a corresponding application type list is acquired. Further, it is determined whether the application icon already exists in the corresponding application type list to determine whether the application icon is a new application icon. If the application icon is not in the corresponding application type list, the description is that a new application icon needs to be added, and at this time, in response to a drag operation of the user on the application icon, the application type list corresponding to the application icon is displayed in the application display area 320. Subsequently, the user may continue to drag the application icon being dragged to the application type list already displayed in the application display area 320, and the file manager adds the application icon to the application type list for display in response to an operation of the user continuing to drag the application icon to the application type list, thereby implementing addition of a new application icon in the application type list through a drag operation.
Note that by dragging a new application icon to the corresponding application type list, if a file is subsequently dragged to the application display area 320 and the file can be opened by a new application, the new application icon will be displayed in the application list displayed in the application display area 320. In this way, adding a new application for opening a file is achieved.
According to one embodiment, the method and the device can be used for configuring one or more corresponding applications suitable for opening files of the same type for each file type in advance, wherein each file type corresponds to one or more applications. Further, each file type may correspond to one or more applications contained under one or more application types. When an operation of dragging a file to a predetermined area is received, by determining the type of the file, icons of one or more corresponding applications suitable for opening the dragged file can be acquired according to the type of the file, and then the one or more application icons can be displayed in an application list, and the application list is displayed in the application display area 320.
One or more application icons in the application list can be sorted according to a preset sorting method. Specifically, before the application display area 320 displays the application list 325, application icons corresponding to one or more applications suitable for opening a file are first acquired. Then, the one or more application icons are sorted based on a pre-configured application icon sorting method so that the one or more application icons are presented in the application list in a corresponding order. Here, by acquiring the configuration file, the application icon sorting method selected by the user may be determined according to the configuration file, and the one or more application icons may be sorted based on the application icon sorting method selected by the user. After sorting the one or more application icons in the application list according to the application icon sorting method selected by the user, the application list is presented in the application display area 320, such that the presented application list has the one or more application icons presented therein in a corresponding order.
In some embodiments, the application icon sorting method provided by the file manager 125 of the present invention includes: frequency ordering algorithm, install time ordering algorithm, file type ordering algorithm, but not limited to, secondary. That is, the user-selected application icon ranking method determined according to the configuration file may be one of a frequency of use ranking algorithm, a time of installation ranking algorithm, and a file type ranking algorithm.
The application icons are displayed in the application list after being sorted, and the application icons are displayed in the application list after being sorted. It should be noted that the file manager may record the number of times each application is used, and store the number of times in a local configuration file, so that the data in the configuration file is read to determine the use frequency of each application, thereby sorting the application icons according to the use frequency of the applications.
And the installation time sorting algorithm is to sort the corresponding one or more application icons according to the sequence of the installation time of the one or more applications by reading the installation time of the one or more applications, so that the one or more application icons are displayed in the application list after being sorted.
And a file type sorting algorithm, namely determining the type (MimeType) of the file, and sorting the one or more application icons according to the type of the file so as to display the one or more application icons after sorting in an application list. It should be noted that, the arrangement order of the one or more application icons corresponding to each file type may be configured in advance, so that, by determining the file type, the arrangement order of the one or more application icons corresponding to the file type may be determined according to the configuration file, and the one or more application icons are displayed in the application list according to the corresponding arrangement order. Here, the one or more application icons corresponding to each file type are application icons corresponding to one or more applications that support opening of a corresponding type of file.
It should be noted that any of the above application icon sorting methods may be selected to sort the icons in accordance with the method 200 of the present invention. Alternatively, a combination of multiple sorting methods of the above application icon sorting methods may be selected to sort the application icons, for example, a comprehensive sorting method using a frequency sorting algorithm in combination with a file type sorting algorithm may be selected to sort one or more application icons.
Additionally, in one embodiment, custom sorting methods may also be employed to sort the icons. Specifically, the user can define the arrangement sequence of the application icons in advance according to the use habit of the user, and generate the corresponding configuration file based on the arrangement sequence of the application icons defined by the user. Therefore, when the file manager sorts the application icons, the file manager can determine the user-defined application icon arrangement sequence according to the configuration file by reading the configuration file, and sort one or more application icons according to the user-defined application icon arrangement sequence, so that the one or more application icons are displayed in the application list after being sorted.
It should also be noted that one or more application icons in the application type list may also be sorted according to the aforementioned application icon sorting method. When a new application icon is added to the application type list for display in response to the operation of dragging the application icon into the application type list by the user, the new application icon is displayed at a corresponding position in the application type list by using the application icon sorting method determined according to the configuration file.
In one implementation, the application list and the application type list can be implemented by a ListView control. Based on the application list implemented by the ListView control, the size of the application list can be automatically adjusted according to the number and the size of the application icons, so that each included application icon is presented in the application list and the application type list.
In one implementation manner, the first application icon displayed in the application list may be an application icon corresponding to an application used by the dragged file when the dragged file is opened last time, and other application icons except the first application icon in the application list are arranged and displayed based on the selected application icon sorting method.
According to an embodiment, after the application display area 320 displays the application list, in the process of dragging the file, after the user drags the file to the application display area 320, if the user wishes to open the file through a preset application, the user can drag the file from the application display area 320 to the outside of the application display area directly. Subsequently, the file manager may open the dragged file through the preset application in response to an operation of the user dragging the file from the application display area 320 to outside the application display area.
According to an embodiment, before performing step S210, a configuration request for the drag function from the user may also be received, and a configuration page is displayed. In one implementation, the user requests configuration of the drag function by clicking a set button.
Fig. 4 and 5 each show a configuration page diagram according to an embodiment of the invention.
As shown in fig. 4, a configuration page includes a drag setting item therein. In the drag setting item in the configuration page, four directions for dragging and opening the file are provided for the user to select, where each direction sub-table for dragging and opening the file represents a position of a predetermined area in a direction relative to the display page 300 of the file manager, that is, a drag direction of the file during the process of dragging and opening the file. Specifically, the upper, lower, left, and right correspond to a predetermined range area in which the predetermined area is located on the upper side of the display page 300, a predetermined range area in which the predetermined area is located on the lower side of the display page 300, a predetermined range area in which the predetermined area is located on the left side of the display page 300, and a predetermined range area in which the predetermined area is located on the right side of the display page 300, respectively. In this way, the user selects the corresponding predetermined area by selecting the direction of dragging the open file, and the selectable predetermined area is any one of a predetermined range area located on the upper side of the display page, a predetermined range area located on the lower side of the display page, a predetermined range area located on the left side of the display page, and a predetermined range area located on the right side of the display page. After the user selects the direction, the file manager 125 may obtain the predetermined area selected by the user on the configuration page by selecting the direction of dragging the open file, and write the information of the predetermined area selected by the user into the configuration file.
It should be noted that by providing a plurality of directions for the user to select to drag and open the file on the configuration page, the use habits of different users can be met, and a richer way for dragging and opening the file is provided for the user.
As shown in fig. 5, an application ordering setting item is also included in the configuration page. In the application sorting setting items in the configuration page, a use frequency sorting option (corresponding to a use frequency sorting algorithm), an installation time sorting option (corresponding to an installation time sorting algorithm), a type sorting option (corresponding to a file type sorting algorithm), and a comprehensive sorting option (corresponding to a combination of a plurality of sorting algorithms) are provided. In this way, the user can select the corresponding application icon sorting method by selecting the sorting option. After the user selects the sorting option, acquiring a corresponding application icon sorting method selected by the user through selecting the sorting option on the configuration page, and writing the application icon sorting method selected by the user into the configuration file, so that before the application list is displayed, one or more application icons in the application list are sorted by reading the application icon sorting method selected by the user and recorded in the configuration file.
In addition, the application sorting setting items in the configuration page further include a custom sorting option, if the user selects the custom sorting option, the self-defined application icon arrangement sequence of the user in the configuration page is obtained, and the self-defined application icon arrangement sequence of the user is written into the configuration file, so that before the application list is displayed, one or more application icons in the application list are sorted by reading the self-defined application icon arrangement sequence of the user recorded in the configuration file.
In an implementation manner, the configuration page may utilize a TableView control to implement switching between a drag setting item and an application sequencing setting item, and display a view corresponding to the drag setting item by default.
In one embodiment, as shown in fig. 5, after the configuration page is switched to the view corresponding to the application ranking setting item, the view includes an application icon preview area in which icons of all applications installed in the computing device 100 are displayed. After a user selects one sorting option, all application icons are sorted based on an application icon sorting method corresponding to the sorting option and then displayed in an application icon preview area for preview, so that the user can view the arrangement sequence of the application icons corresponding to the selected sorting option.
In one implementation, the application icon preview area may be implemented via a ListView control. If the user selects the custom sorting option in the configuration page, the user can drag the application icons in the application icon preview area to adjust the arrangement sequence of the application icons, so that the arrangement sequence of the user-defined application icons in the configuration page is realized.
According to the method for opening the file based on the dragging operation, a user can present the application list in the application display area by dragging the file to the preset area outside the display page of the file manager, and can open the dragged file through the application corresponding to the application icon by continuously dragging the file to any application icon in the application list. Therefore, according to the method, in the process of selecting the application to open the file, one step is achieved, the application list can be called out and the application is selected from the application list to open the file only through one dragging operation, the operation steps are simple and quick, the complicated steps of back-and-forth operation among a plurality of pages are avoided, and the efficiency of selecting the application to open the file is improved.
In addition, according to the method, new application icons can be added in the application type list by dragging the new application icons to the corresponding application type list, and further, new applications for opening files can be added.
