Abstract
The invention relates to an electronic device which comprises a shell, a circuit board and an adjusting structure. The shell comprises a bottom plate and two side plates. The bottom plate comprises a bearing surface. The two side plates are respectively erected on two opposite sides of the bearing surface. The circuit board is arranged on the bearing surface of the bottom plate. The mounting frame of the adjusting structure is fixed on the casing. One end of the supporting rod of the adjusting structure is movably arranged on the mounting frame along the normal direction of the bearing surface, and the other end of the supporting rod is fixed on one side of the circuit board far away from the bottom plate, so that the supporting rod is used for adjusting the distance between at least part of the circuit board and the bottom plate.
Description
Technical Field
The present disclosure relates to electronic devices, and particularly to an electronic device with a support bar.
Background
In general, in order to improve the performance of a server or to expand the functions of the server, a plurality of different electronic devices are disposed on a motherboard of the server. If the weight of these electronic components is too large and the motherboard and the chassis carrying the motherboard sink, the motherboard and the chassis will need to be elastically deformed by the shaping mold, so as to restore the motherboard and the chassis to a completely flat state.
However, due to the limitation of the stamping process, it is difficult for the shaping mold to accurately restore the motherboard and the chassis to a completely flat state. In this way, the motherboard and the chassis may still have errors after the processing of the shaping mold, so that the motherboard and the chassis have other components that are difficult to assemble to the server.
Disclosure of Invention
In general, in order to improve the performance of a server or to expand the functions of the server, a plurality of different electronic devices are disposed on a motherboard of the server. If the weight of these electronic components is too large and the motherboard and the chassis carrying the motherboard sink, the motherboard and the chassis will need to be elastically deformed by the shaping mold, so as to restore the motherboard and the chassis to a completely flat state.
However, due to the limitation of the stamping process, it is difficult for the shaping mold to accurately restore the motherboard and the chassis to a completely flat state. In this way, the motherboard and the chassis may still have errors after the processing of the shaping mold, so that the motherboard and the chassis have other components that are difficult to assemble to the server.

The following examples further illustrate the aspects of the invention in detail, but do not limit the scope of the invention in any way.
Please refer to fig. 1 to 4. Fig. 1 is a perspective view of an electronic device according to an embodiment of the invention. Fig. 2 is a partial enlarged view of a front view of the electronic device of fig. 1. Fig. 3 is a perspective view of an adjustment structure of the electronic device in fig. 1. Fig. 4 is an exploded view of the adjustment structure of fig. 3.
In the present embodiment, the electronic device 10 is, for example, a server and includes a housing 100, a circuit board 200, two electronic components 250, and an adjustment structure 300. In the present embodiment, the casing 100 includes a bottom plate 101 and two side plates 102. The base plate 101 includes a bearing surface 1010. The two side panels 102 stand on opposite sides of the bearing surface 1010, respectively.
The circuit board 200 is disposed on the carrying surface 1010 of the base plate 101. In the present embodiment, the circuit board 200 and the bottom board 101 are parallel to each other and spaced apart from each other, for example. In the present embodiment, two electronic components 250 are fixed to a side of the circuit board 200 away from the base plate 101 and are supported by the circuit board 200.
In this embodiment, the adjusting structure 300 includes a mounting frame 301, two support rods 302, two fixing members 303, and two nuts 304. In this embodiment, the mounting frame 301 is fixed to the side of the two side plates 102 away from the bottom plate 101. In this embodiment, the mounting frame 301 includes a bottom surface 3010, a top surface 3011, and two through holes 3012. The bottom face 3010 and the top face 3011 face away from each other. Two through holes 3012 pass through the bottom face 3010 and the top face 3011. Bottom surface 3010 is also closer to circuit board 200 than top surface 3011. It should be noted that in other embodiments, the mounting frame may be fixed to the bottom plate of the chassis by a bracket.
The two support bars 302 are spaced apart from each other. In the present embodiment, the two support rods 302 each include a first straight portion 3020, a bent portion 3021, and a second straight portion 3022. The two first straight portions 3020 are movably disposed in the two through holes 3012 of the mounting frame 301 along the normal direction N of the bearing surface 1010, and each includes a threaded structure 3023. In each support rod 302, the bending portion 3021 connects the first straight portion 3020 and the second straight portion 3022, and the extending direction E1 of the first straight portion 3020 is not parallel to the extending direction E2 of the second straight portion 3022. Specifically, in the present embodiment, the extending direction E1 of the first straight portion 3020 and the extending direction E2 of the second straight portion 3022 are perpendicular to each other.
The two fixtures 303 each include a mounting hole 3030. One ends of the two second straight portions 3022, which are away from the bent portion 3021, are fixed to the two mounting holes 3030 of the two fixing members 303, respectively. In addition, two fixtures 303 are fixed to the side of the circuit board 200 remote from the base plate 101, for example, by Surface-mount technology (SMT). In addition, in the present embodiment, an area of the contact surface 3031 of the fixing member 303 contacting the circuit board 200 is, for example, 100 square millimeters or more.
It should be noted that in other embodiments, the fixing member may be fixed to the side of the circuit board away from the base plate by adhesion or other suitable fixing means. In other embodiments, the mount may not need to include mounting holes and in such embodiments the second straight portion may be directly secured to the outer surface of the mount. In addition, in other embodiments, the adjusting structure may not include a fixing member and the second straight portion may be directly fixed to the circuit board. In addition, in other embodiments, the area of the contact surface of the fixing member contacting the circuit board may be less than 100 square millimeters as long as the required bonding strength is achieved.
The two nuts 304 are screwed to the two screw structures 3023 of the two first straight portions 3020 of the two support rods 302 and bear against the top surface 3011 of the mounting frame 301.
The adjusting structure 300 is used for adjusting the distance between at least a portion of the circuit board 200 and the chassis 101. Specifically, since the screw structure 3023 of the first straight portion 3020 is screwed into the screw cap 304 and is supported against the top surface 3011 of the mounting block 301, when the screw cap 304 is turned, the first straight portion 3020 is movable in the normal direction N in the through hole 3012 of the mounting block 301. Since the second straight portion 3022 is fixed to the circuit board 200 by the fixing member 303, the first straight portion 3020 further pulls up the portion of the circuit board 200 in the normal direction N away from the base plate 101. In this way, as shown in fig. 2, even if the circuit board 200 needs to support the electronic component 250, the circuit board 200 can still be maintained in a completely flat state with the assistance of the adjustment structure 300. Further, in the present embodiment, the engagement between the nut 304 and the screw structure 3023 of the first straight portion 3020 can adjust the distance between the end of the first straight portion 3020 remote from the bent portion 3021 and the top surface 3011 of the mounting frame 301 to be between 5mm and 10mm, for example.
It should be noted that in other embodiments, the mounting frame need not include perforations. In the embodiment where the mounting frame does not include a through hole, the supporting rod can be movably arranged on the mounting frame through the matched sliding rail and the sliding block. In other embodiments, the adjusting structure may include only one support bar. In other embodiments, the support bar may not include a bending portion and a second straight portion, and the other end of the first straight portion is fixed to the circuit board through the fixing member. In other embodiments, the adjusting structure may not include a nut and the first straight portion may not include a threaded structure, and the position of the support rod relative to the mounting frame may be adjusted by using gears and gear adjustments. In addition, in the embodiment that the supporting rod is movably arranged on the mounting frame through the matched sliding rail and the sliding block, the positioning column can be used for positioning the sliding block at a specific position on the sliding rail.
In one embodiment of the present invention, the server of the present invention may be used for Artificial Intelligence (AI) operation (english: ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE), edge computing (edge computing), and may also be used as a 5G server, a cloud server, or a car networking server.
According to the electronic device disclosed in the above embodiment, since one end of the supporting rod is movably disposed on the mounting frame along the normal direction of the bearing surface, and the other end of the supporting rod is fixed on one side of the circuit board away from the bottom plate, the supporting rod can adjust the distance between at least part of the circuit board and the bottom plate. Thus, the circuit board and the casing carrying the circuit board can be kept in a completely flat state without the problem of difficult assembly to other components.
Claims (9)
1. An electronic device, comprising:
the shell comprises a bottom plate and two side plates, wherein the bottom plate comprises a bearing surface, and the two side plates are respectively erected on two opposite sides of the bearing surface;
The circuit board is arranged on the bearing surface of the bottom plate; and
An adjustment structure, the adjustment structure comprising:
the mounting frame is fixed on one side of the two side plates away from the bottom plate; and
One end of the supporting rod is movably arranged on the mounting frame along the normal direction of the bearing surface, and the other end of the supporting rod is fixed on one side of the circuit board far away from the bottom plate, so that the adjusting structure is used for adjusting the distance between at least part of the circuit board and the bottom plate, and the circuit board is kept in a completely flat state.
2. The electronic device of claim 1, wherein the support bar comprises a first linear portion, a bending portion and a second linear portion, the first linear portion is movably disposed on the mounting frame along the normal direction of the bearing surface, the bending portion connects the first linear portion and the second linear portion, the extending direction of the first linear portion is not parallel to the extending direction of the second linear portion, and an end of the second linear portion away from the bending portion is fixed on a side of the circuit board away from the bottom plate.

The electronic device of claim 2, wherein the adjusting structure further comprises a fixing member, a side of the second straight portion of the supporting rod away from the bending portion is fixed to the fixing member, and the fixing member is fixed to a side of the circuit board away from the bottom plate.
4. The electronic device according to claim 3, wherein the fixing member includes a mounting hole, and the second straight portion is fixed to the mounting hole.
5. The electronic device of claim 3, wherein the fixing member is fixed to a side of the circuit board away from the chassis by a surface adhesion technique.
6. The electronic device of claim 5, wherein an area of the fixing member contacting the circuit board is greater than or equal to 100 square millimeters.
7. The electronic device of claim 2, wherein the mounting frame comprises a through hole, and the first straight portion of the support rod is movably disposed in the through hole of the mounting frame.
8. The electronic device of claim 7, wherein the adjustment structure further comprises a nut, the first linear portion of the support rod comprises a threaded structure, and the nut is screwed to the threaded structure of the support rod and bears against the mounting frame.
9. The electronic device of claim 1, wherein the number of support bars is two, the two support bars being spaced apart from each other.
