In the steel rolling production process, when the opening degree of a vertical roll and the opening degree of a guide ruler in a rough rolling area are measured and calibrated, the vertical roll and the guide ruler are usually manually operated in a rolling mill; when the opening degree of the vertical rolls is calibrated, because the space between the vertical rolls on two sides is narrow, and a measurer can only squat on a narrow beam to calibrate (a deeper trench is arranged below the beam), a larger potential safety hazard exists; similarly, when the opening degree of the guide ruler is calibrated, a measurer needs to stand on a roller way to operate, and potential safety hazards exist. Meanwhile, due to the fact that manual measurement is adopted and a tape measure is often adopted as a measuring tool, large measuring errors exist, the overall measuring precision is poor, and the errors are basically 2-3 mm.
Therefore, a measuring device which is light and has high measuring precision needs to be designed, so that the calibration process of the opening degree of the vertical roll and the opening degree of the guide ruler is safer and more convenient.

The invention provides a method for calibrating the opening degree of a vertical roll or a guide ruler of a rolling mill, which adopts a special digital display measuring device to measure, and has the advantages of simple structure, light weight, convenient and safe operation, high measuring precision and visual display of the measuring result.

a method for calibrating the opening degree of a vertical roll or a guide ruler of a rolling mill comprises the steps of measuring and calibrating the opening degree of the vertical roll or the opening degree of the guide ruler by a digital display measuring device; the specific process is as follows:
1) manufacturing a digital display measuring device;
the digital display measuring device consists of a telescopic staff gauge, a reading display screen, a bracket, a measuring end plate and a level meter; the bottom of the bracket is provided with a measuring end plate, and the top of the measuring end plate is provided with a level gauge; the inner end of the telescopic scale is connected with the inner end of the measuring end plate to form a measuring scale; the telescopic ruler is an electronic ruler, and a measuring signal output end of the telescopic ruler is connected with a signal input end of a reading display screen through a cable; the reading display screen is arranged on the upper part of the bracket; when in measurement, the actual measurement value of the measurement scale is the measurement value of the telescopic scale plus a compensation value, and the compensation value is the distance between the zero graduation line of the telescopic scale and the end face of the corresponding end of the measurement end plate;
2) preparation work before measurement and calibration;
adjusting the opening degree of the vertical roller/guide ruler to be maximum, adjusting the total length of the measuring ruler to be 2-10 mm smaller than the opening degree of the vertical roller/guide ruler, and then extending the measuring ruler into a position to be measured between the vertical roller/guide ruler; in the measuring and calibrating process, the support is held by an operator in a hand or fixed on a cross beam of the rolling mill through an auxiliary support, and the measuring scale is kept horizontal through a level gauge;
3) measuring and calibrating;
adjusting the opening degree of the vertical rollers/guide rules to gradually reduce the opening degree, wherein in the process, the vertical rollers/guide rules on two sides are in contact with two ends of the measuring scale and push the free end of the telescopic scale to retract; reading an actual measurement value of the measurement scale through a reading display screen, and stopping the adjustment action of the opening degree of the vertical roller/guide ruler when the actual measurement value reaches a calibration value;
4) measuring the calibrated field cleaning work;
and after the operation is finished, taking the measuring scale out of the space between the vertical roller and the guide ruler, and integrally moving the digital display measuring device out of the working area of the rolling mill.
The telescopic ruler and the reading display screen jointly form an external digital display ruler, wherein the telescopic ruler adopts a moving grid module displacement sensor, the measuring range is 0-500 mm, and the measuring precision is 0.01 mm.
The level gauge is a bubble level gauge.
And the compensation value of the distance between the zero scale mark of the telescopic scale and the end face of the corresponding end of the measuring end plate is an integral value.
Compared with the prior art, the invention has the beneficial effects that:
1) the special digital display measuring device is adopted for measurement, and the structure is simple, the weight is light, and the carrying is convenient;

and after the operation is finished, taking the measuring scale out of the space between the vertical roller and the guide ruler 6, and integrally moving the digital display measuring device out of the working area of the rolling mill.
The telescopic ruler 4 and the reading display screen 1 jointly form an external digital display ruler, wherein the telescopic ruler 4 adopts a moving grid module displacement sensor, the measuring range is 0-500 mm, and the measuring precision is 0.01 mm.
The level 5 is a bubble level.
And the compensation value of the distance between the zero scale line of the telescopic scale 4 and the end face of the corresponding end of the measuring end plate 3 is an integral value.
When the method for calibrating the opening degree of the vertical roll or the guide ruler of the rolling mill is implemented, if a measurer holds the vertical roll or the guide ruler by hand, a handle is arranged above the support 2, so that the method is convenient to operate by hand.
The telescopic scale 4 and the reading display screen 1 can be transformed by adopting a commercially available external digital display scale, and cables between the reading display screen 1 and the telescopic scale 4 are lengthened according to measurement requirements.
The compensation value of the distance between the zero scale line of the telescopic scale 4 and the end face of the corresponding end of the measuring end plate 3 is preferably 1 m.
