令人惊讶地发现,本发明的用途和方法有利地减少了所有火花点火式内燃发动机中,尤其是直接喷射式火花点火(GDI)发动机中的进气阀沉积物。本发明在直接喷射式火花点火(GDI)发动机中特别有利,因为没有直接清洗机构来通过燃料清洗进气阀。
此外,令人惊讶地发现,本发明的用途和方法可以有利地减少火花点火内燃发动机,特别是直接喷射式火花点火发动机中的进气阀沉积物,以及减少发动机爆震。
具体实施方式
本发明中使用的水性组合物(在本文中为组分(i))的必要组分是水。用于本文的基于水的组合物应与所有类型的火花点火发动机相容。
本文的基于水的组合物的任选的、高度优选的组分(在本文中为组分(ii))是凝固点抑制剂。如本文所用,术语“凝固点抑制剂”是指能够降低其所添加的基于水的组合物的凝固点的组分。
适用于内燃发动机的任何凝固点抑制剂都可以在本文中使用。
合适地,凝固点抑制剂选自醇、二醇(如亚烷基二醇)、氨基甲酸二烷基酯及其混合物。合适的凝固点抑制剂的实例包括甲醇、乙醇、丙醇、异丙醇、丁醇、异丁醇、乙二醇、丙二醇、氨基甲酸二乙酯及其混合物。
适用作凝固点抑制剂的醇包括低分子量醇,包括但不限于甲醇、乙醇、丙醇、异丙醇、异丁醇、仲丁醇、正丁醇、叔丁醇以及其混合物。适合用作凝固点抑制剂的醇还包括烷氧基化的低分子量醇,包括但不限于具有1至15个环氧烷烃基团,优选地1至4个环氧烷烃基团的异丁醇。环氧烷烃基团可以包括任何环氧烷烃基团。例如,所述环氧烷烃基团可以包括环氧甲烷、环氧乙烷基团、环氧丙烷基团和环氧丁烷基团或其混合物,例如环氧乙烷基团和环氧丙烷基团的混合物。这种混合物可以是无规的或嵌段的。
适用作凝固点抑制剂的二醇包括但不限于乙二醇、1,3-丙二醇、1,2-丙二醇、二甘醇丁基醚、三甘醇丁基醚及其混合物。
在本文的一个优选实施方案中,凝固点抑制剂是醇,优选地选自甲醇、乙醇、丙醇、异丙醇、丁醇、异丁醇及其混合物,更优选地选自甲醇、乙醇、丙醇、异丙醇及其混合物,尤其是异丙醇。
基于组分(i)、(ii)和(iii)的总体积,凝固点抑制剂的存在水平优选地为至多40体积%,更优选地1至40体积%,甚至更优选地1体积%至30体积%,尤其是5体积%至30体积%,以及更特别地10体积%至20体积%。
包含在本文的基于水的组合物中的另一种高度优选的组分是表面活性剂(组分(iii))。所述表面活性剂不包括下文所述的胺化合物。本文合适的表面活性剂包括非离子表面活性剂、阴离子表面活性剂、阳离子表面活性剂和两性表面活性剂以及其混合物。
优选地,本文使用的表面活性剂选自一种或多种非离子表面活性剂,优选地具有9至14.4,更优选地12至14.4,甚至更优选地12.4至14.4,并且尤其是12.4至13.6的HLB。

优选地,表面活性剂选自烷基醇乙氧基化物、烷基酚乙氧基化物及其混合物。
在本发明的一个实施方案中,表面活性剂是烷基乙氧基化物,优选地是具有C10-C16烷基并含有6至12个环氧乙烷部分的烷基乙氧基化物。适用于本文的烷基乙氧基化物的实例包括具有12个环氧乙烷部分的C12-C16脂肪醇乙氧基化物、具有9个环氧乙烷部分的C12-C16脂肪醇乙氧基化物、具有4个环氧乙烷部分的C12-C16脂肪醇乙氧基化物、具有8个环氧乙烷部分的C10-C12脂肪醇乙氧基化物、具有6个环氧乙烷部分的C10-C12脂肪醇乙氧基化物和具有6个环氧乙烷部分的异十三烷醇乙氧基化物。
在本发明的另一个实施方案中,表面活性剂是烷基酚乙氧基化物,优选地具有6至12个环氧乙烷部分的C6-C10烷基酚乙氧基化物。适用于本文的烷基酚乙氧基化物的实例包括含有6个环氧乙烷部分的壬基酚乙氧基化物和含有10个环氧乙烷部分的壬基酚乙氧基化物。
基于组分(i)、(ii)和(iii)的总体积,表面活性剂的存在水平为0体积%至10体积%,优选地水平为1至10体积%,更优选地0.5体积%至5体积%,甚至更优选地0.5体积%至2体积%。
在表面活性剂包含两种或更多种表面活性剂的混合物的情况下,以上针对表面活性剂的量提供的水平是指表面活性剂在基于水的组合物中的总水平。
令人惊讶地发现,基于水的组合物中表面活性剂和胺化合物的组合有益于所有类型的发动机,特别是较高压缩的发动机,例如典型地在GDI发动机中。
本文中基于水的组合物的高度优选组分是具有两亲性质的胺化合物(组分(iv))。适合地,胺化合物选自基于聚亚烷的胺化合物、聚醚胺化合物及其混合物。
合适的基于聚亚烷基的胺化合物包括聚异丁烯胺、聚丙烯胺、曼尼希胺(Mannichamine)、聚异丁烯琥珀酰亚胺、聚丙烯琥珀酰亚胺及其混合物。
用于本文的特别优选的胺化合物是聚醚胺,例如烷基或烷芳基聚醚胺。合适的烷基或烷基芳基聚醚胺含有连接到聚醚主链的氨基。聚醚主链基于环氧烷烃部分,例如环氧丙烷(PO)、环氧乙烷(EO)、环氧丁烷(BO)、混合的BO/PO/EO等。
合适的聚醚胺的实例是包含聚氧-C2-C4-亚烷基部分的化合物,其可通过以下获得:使C2-C60-烷醇、C6-C30-烷二醇、单-或二-C2-C30-烷基胺、C1-C30-烷基环己醇或C1-C30-烷基酚与每个羟基基团或氨基基团1至30mol的环氧乙烷和/或环氧丙烷和/或环氧丁烷反应,并且通过随后用氨、单胺或多胺进行还原胺化。此类产物尤其在EP-A-310 875、EP-A-356725、EP-A-700 985和US-A-4,877,416中描述。例如,所用的聚醚胺可以是聚-C2-C6-氧化亚烷基胺或其官能衍生物。其典型实例是下列化合物与氨的反应产物:十三烷醇丁氧基化物或异十三烷醇丁氧基化物、异壬基酚丁氧基化物以及还有聚异丁烯醇丁氧基化物和丙氧基化物。
在本文的一个优选实施方案中,聚醚胺是XJT 958(购自因多拉玛公司商购),它是含有重量比为65∶35(PO/BO)的PO/BO基团的壬基酚胺。
胺化合物存在于基于水的组合物中的共混量为0ppmw至1000ppmw、优选地100ppmw至450ppmw、更优选地200ppmw至400ppmw、甚至更优选地300ppmw至400ppmw。应当注意,本文中关于胺化合物的ppmw是指每百万重量份的组分(i)、(ii)和(iii)的组合中胺化合物的重量份。
本文的基于水的组合物的任选但优选的组分是腐蚀抑制剂。合适的腐蚀抑制剂的实例包括Octel DCI 11(购自Innospec)、Tolad 3224(购自派楚赖特公司(Petrolite)和Bio Tec 9881(购自雅富顿公司(Afton)。基于总基于水的组合物,腐蚀抑制剂的存在水平优选地为10至30ppmw。适用于内燃发动机的任何腐蚀抑制剂均可用于本文。
基于水的组合物还可以包含其他任选的添加剂,例如着色剂、抗氧化剂、苦味剂,例如由麦克法兰·史密斯公司(Macfarlan Smith Corporation)和庄信万丰公司(JMJohnson Matthey)制造的Bitrex(RTM)(活性成分是苯甲酸地那铵)等。其他合适的任选添加剂包括也适用于汽油添加剂包并且为本领域技术人员熟知的那些添加剂。下文关于合适的汽油添加剂的描述提供了此类添加剂的实例。为了用于本发明,任何此类添加剂可能需要适应水相混溶性。
基于水的组合物的余量是水(组分(i))。基于组分(i)、(ii)和(iii)的总体积,水的存在水平优选地为50体积%至99体积%,更优选地58体积%至98体积%。
基于水的组合物优选地通过在第一步骤中将胺化合物和表面活性剂混合,然后加入凝固点抑制剂,并且最后添加水以产生澄清的分散溶液,例如微乳液或连续相来制备。
在本发明的用途和方法中,发动机以汽油燃料组合物为燃料,并且基于水的组合物例如通过喷射系统或其他方式引入到发动机中。可以在发动机正常运行之前或期间将基于水的组合物引入大奥发动机中。可将基于水的组合物以任何合适的方式引入到发动机中,优选地所述方式使得其在进气阀的背面产生清洗作用,例如通过喷射到气缸中、喷射到阀门上或喷射到歧管中。
本文所述的基于水的组合物优选地储存在车辆上的单独罐中,并与燃料分开注入。针对高效发动机的燃料喷射系统的进步为使用单个双燃料喷射器进行共喷射提供了另一个机会,例如由QuantLogic公司(http://q1c2.com/)开发的喷射器,其能够喷射两种流体,精确计量并在喷射器中混合以提供单一喷雾或从喷射器中的不同设计孔单独喷射以促进在喷射器外部混合喷雾。
本文所述的基于水的组合物用于减少进气阀沉积物的目的。在本文的一个优选实施方案中,本文所述的基于水的组合物用于减少进气阀沉积物和减少发动机爆震的双重目的。
本发明的用途和方法可以用于实现发动机中进气阀沉积物的任何程度的减少,包括减少至零(即消除进气阀沉积物)。本文的用途和方法优选地实现发动机中进气阀沉积物的5%或更多减少,更优选地发动机中进气阀沉积物的10%或更多减少,甚至更优选地发动机中进气阀沉积物的15%或更多减少,并且尤其是发动机中进气阀沉积物的30%或更多减少。在一个特别优选的实施方案中,本文的方法和用途实现了发动机中进气阀沉积物的50%或更多减少。在另一个特别优选的实施方案中,本文的方法和用途完全消除了发动机中的进气阀沉积物。
在本发明的用途和方法中,火花点火内燃发动机以汽油燃料组合物为燃料。
本文中用于为火花点火内燃发动机提供燃料的汽油燃料组合物包含汽油基础燃料。汽油基础燃料可以是适用于本领域已知的火花点火式(汽油)型内燃发动机——包括汽车发动机以及其他类型的发动机,诸如,例如越野和航空发动机——的任何汽油基础燃料。在本文的液体汽油燃料组合物中用作基础燃料的汽油也可以方便地称为“基础汽油”。
汽油典型地包括在25至230℃的范围内沸腾的烃混合物(EN-ISO 3405),最佳范围和蒸馏曲线典型地根据一年中的气候和季节变化。汽油中的烃可以通过本领域已知的任何方法衍生,方便地,烃可以以任何已知的方式衍生自直馏汽油、合成产生的芳香烃混合物、热或催化裂化的烃、加氢裂化的石油馏分、催化重整的烃或这些的混合物。所有这些汽油成分都可能来自于化石碳或可再生资源。
汽油的比蒸馏曲线、烃组合物、研究法辛烷值(RON)和马达法辛烷值(MON)不是至关重要的。

典型地,汽油包括选自以下基团中的一种或多种的成分:饱和烃、烯烃、芳香烃和氧化烃。方便地,汽油可以包括饱和烃、烯烃、芳香烃和任选地氧化烃的混合物。
典型地,汽油的烯烃含量基于汽油按体积计在0至40%的范围内(ASTM D1319);优选地,汽油的烯烃含量基于汽油按体积计在0至30%的范围内,更优选地,汽油的烯烃含量基于汽油按体积计在0至20%的范围内。
典型地,汽油中的芳香烃含量按体积计是在基于汽油的0至70%的范围内(ASTMD1319),例如,汽油中的芳香烃含量按体积计是在基于汽油的10至60%的范围内;优选地,汽油中的芳香烃含量按体积计是在基于汽油的0至50%的范围内,例如,汽油中的芳香烃含量为10至50体积%。
汽油的苯含量按体积计是基于汽油的至多2%,更优选地按体积计是至多1%。
汽油优选地具有低或超低的硫含量,例如至多1000ppmw(按重量计百万分之)、优选地不超过500ppmw、更优选地不超过100、甚至更优选地不超过50并且最优选地不超过甚至10ppmw。
汽油还优选地具有低的总铅含量,诸如至多0.005g/l,最优选地是不含铅——不对其添加铅化合物(即无铅的)。
当汽油包括氧化烃时,非氧化烃的至少一部分将被取代为氧化烃。汽油的氧含量可以是基于汽油按重量计最高35%(EN 1601)(例如,乙醇本身(即纯无水乙醇))。例如,汽油的氧含量可以为按重量计最高达25%,优选地按重量计最高达10%。方便地,含氧化合物浓度将具有选自按重量计0%至5%中的任何一种的最小浓度,以及选自按重量计30%、20%、10%中的任何一种的最大浓度。优选地,本文中的含氧化合物浓度按重量计为5%至15%。

当氧化烃存在于汽油中时,汽油中氧化烃的量可以在宽的范围内变化。例如,当前在诸如巴西和美国的国家中可商购的包括大比例氧化烃的汽油,例如乙醇本身和E85,以及包括小比例氧化烃的汽油,例如E10和E5。因此,汽油可以含有按体积计最高达100%的氧化烃类。本文也包括了巴西所使用的E100燃料。优选地,取决于期望的汽油最终配方,存在于汽油中的氧化烃类的量选自以下量中的一种:按体积计最高达85%;按体积计最高达70%;按体积计最高达65%;按体积计最高达30%;按体积计最高达20%;按体积计达最高15%;以及按体积计最高达10%。方便地,汽油可以包含按体积计至少0.5%、1.0%或2.0%的氧化烃。
适合的汽油的实例包括以下汽油:其具有按体积计0至20%的烯烃含量(ASTMD1319)、按重量计0至5%的氧含量(EN 1601)、按体积计0至50%的芳香烃含量(ASTMD1319)以及按体积计0至1%的苯含量。
可源自生物源的汽油调和组分也适合用于本文。这类汽油调和组分的示例可以在WO2009/077606、WO2010/028206、WO2010/000761、欧洲专利申请No.09160983.4、09176879.6、09180904.6和美国专利申请序列号61/312307中找到。
本文使用的基础汽油或汽油组合物可方便地包含一种或多种任选的燃料添加剂。可以被包含在本文所用的基础汽油或汽油组合物中的任选燃料添加剂的浓度和性质不是至关重要的。可以被包含在本文所用的基础汽油或汽油组合物中的适合类型的燃料添加剂的非限制性实例包括:抗-氧化剂、腐蚀抑制剂、抗磨添加剂或表面改性剂、火焰速度添加剂、清洁剂、除雾剂、抗爆震添加剂、金属减活剂、阀-座衰退保护剂化合物、染料、溶剂、载流流体、稀释剂和标记物。适合的这类添加剂的示例在美国专利第5,855,629号中有一般性描述。
方便地,可以将燃料添加剂与一种或更多种溶剂共混以形成添加剂浓缩物,然后可以将添加剂浓缩物与本文所用的基础汽油或汽油组合物掺和。
存在于本文所用的基础汽油或汽油组合物中的任何任选的添加剂的(活性物质)浓度按重量计优选地最高1%,更优选地在5至2000ppmw的范围内,有利地在300至1500ppmw的范围内,诸如300至1000ppmw。
可以使用常规配制技术通过将一种或多种基础燃料与一种或多种性能添加剂包和/或一种或多种添加剂成分掺和,来方便地制备燃料组合物。
为便于更好地理解本发明,下面给出一些实施方案的某些方面的实施例。决不应该将以下实施例理解为限制或限定本发明的整个范围。
实施例
通过将下表1中列出的组分共混来制备基于水的组合物。实施例中所用的聚醚胺是XJT 958(购自因多拉玛公司),它是含有重量比为65∶35(PO/BO)的PO/BO基团的壬基酚胺。实施例中所用的表面活性剂是Surfonic L24-12、Surfonic L24-9、Surfonic L12-8、Surfonic L12-6、Surfonic L24-4、Surfonic N100、Surfonic N60和Surfonic TDA(所有烷基乙氧基化物或烷基芳基乙氧基化物可购自因多拉玛公司,具有下表1中所示的化学组成)。每种表面活性剂的HLB值如表1所示。实施例中所用的凝固点抑制剂是醇类(乙醇、1-丙醇、2-丙醇或甲醇),用量如表1所示。组合物的余量是水。
实施例通过在第一步骤中将非离子表面活性剂和胺化合物共混,然后添加醇并最后添加水来制备。然后对每个实施例进行目视检查以确定它们中的哪些产生了透明的微乳液。这些结果列于表1中。

论述
使用正确的表面活性剂可以实现洗涤剂/水/凝固点抑制剂的透明且稳定的基于水的组合物。优选的表面活性剂是基于烷基的表面活性剂,其HLB范围在14.4-13之间。表面活性剂诸如Surfonic L24-12、Surfonic L24-9和Surfonic L12-8与特别选择的醇特别擅长生成具有聚醚胺洗涤剂的透明且稳定的基于水的组合物。

Claims (15)
1.一种用于减少以汽油燃料组合物为燃料的火花点火内燃发动机中的进气阀沉积物的方法,其中所述方法包括将基于水的组合物引入到所述发动机中,其中所述基于水的组合物包含(i)58体积%至98体积%的水,基于组分(i)、(ii)和(iii)的总体积计,(ii)1体积%至40体积%的凝固点抑制剂,基于组分(i)、(ii)和(iii)的总体积计,所述凝固点抑制剂选自醇、二醇、氨基甲酸二烷基酯及其混合物,(iii)1体积%至10体积%的表面活性剂,基于组分(i)、(ii)和(iii)的总体积计,其中所述表面活性剂是不包括根据(iv)的胺化合物的非离子表面活性剂,和(iv)共混量为100ppmw至1000ppmw的胺化合物,基于每百万重量份的组分(i)、(ii)和(iii)的组合中胺化合物的重量份计,所述胺化合物选自基于聚亚烷的胺化合物、聚醚胺化合物及其混合物,
