Disclosure of Invention
When the absorbent article is worn, various forces are applied to the absorbent article due to movement of the legs and the like. In a structure in which mechanical fastening elements composed of separate bodies are integrated with a back sheet, the rigidity of the connecting portion between the mechanical fastening elements and the back sheet tends to be low. That is, a portion having low rigidity is locally formed in the entire back member including the mechanical fastening element and the back sheet. Therefore, when various forces are applied to the absorbent article, the portion having low rigidity may be locally broken, and the locked state to the wearing article may not be maintained.
Accordingly, an absorbent article is provided that can suppress breakage of the hook portion that is engaged with the wearing article and can easily maintain the engaged state with respect to the wearing article.
An absorbent article according to one aspect includes: a front-back direction and a width direction; a liquid-impermeable back sheet that is in contact with a wearing article; an absorbent core disposed on the skin surface side of the back sheet; and a top sheet disposed on the skin surface side of the absorbent core. The back sheet has: a base portion extending in a planar direction including the front-rear direction and the width direction; and a hook portion protruding from the base portion toward a non-skin surface side and engaged with the wearing article. The hook portion is the same member as the base portion, and is formed continuously with the base portion.

Detailed Description
(1) Brief description of the embodiments
At least the following matters will be made clear from the description of the present specification and the drawings.
An absorbent article according to one aspect includes: a front-back direction and a width direction; a liquid-impermeable back sheet that is in contact with a wearing article; an absorbent core disposed on the skin surface side of the back sheet; and a top sheet disposed closer to the skin surface side than the absorbent core. The back sheet has: a base portion extending in a planar direction including the front-rear direction and the width direction; and a hook portion protruding from the base portion toward a non-skin surface side and engaged with the wearing article. The hook portion is the same member as the base portion, and is formed continuously with the base portion. According to this aspect, the absorbent article can be locked to the wearing article via the hook portion protruding toward the non-skin surface side of the base portion. When the absorbent article is worn, various forces are applied to the absorbent article due to movement of the legs and the like. In this case, since the hook portion is the same member as the base portion and the hook portion is formed continuously with the base portion, it is difficult to form a portion having a locally low rigidity, such as a coupling portion between the hook portion and the base portion. Therefore, when various forces are applied to the absorbent article, the force is applied to the entire back sheet, and local breakage of the hook portion can be suppressed. The hook portion is prevented from breaking, so that the locked state with respect to the wearing article is easily maintained.
According to a preferred embodiment, the hook portions are arranged in plurality at intervals in the front-rear direction and the width direction. The height of the plurality of hooks is constant. In the structure having the hook portions having different heights, a deviation occurs in the force applied to the hook portions due to the difference in height, a force is locally applied to a part of the hook portions, and the part of the hook portions may be broken. However, according to this aspect, since the heights of the plurality of hook portions are constant, variation in force due to difference in height can be suppressed, and the force is applied to the entire back surface sheet, and local breakage of the hook portions can be suppressed.
According to a preferred aspect, the absorbent article is individually packaged by a packaging sheet in a folded state in which the absorbent article is folded using a plurality of creases as base points, at least a part of the back sheet is covered by the packaging sheet in the folded state, and the hook portion is engaged with the packaging sheet. According to this aspect, the hook portion before use can be covered with the packaging sheet and protected. The problem that the hook portion is accidentally locked with the surface sheet and the like before the absorbent article is used can be suppressed.
According to a preferred embodiment, the back sheet is covered with the packaging sheet over the entire surface thereof in an unfolded state in which the back sheet is not folded with the plurality of folding lines as base points. According to this aspect, the entire hook portion before use can be covered with the packaging sheet, and the hook portion can be protected. The problem that the hook portion is accidentally locked with the surface sheet and the like before the absorbent article is used can be suppressed.
According to a preferred aspect, the back sheet has a non-covering region that is not covered with the packaging sheet in an unfolded state in which the back sheet is not folded with the plurality of folds as base points. In the folded state, the hook portion of the non-covered region is engaged with the surface sheet. According to this aspect, in the folded state, the hook portion in the non-covered region can be covered with the front sheet, and the hook portion outside the non-covered region can be covered with the back sheet. The problem that the hook portion is accidentally locked with the surface sheet and the like before the absorbent article is used can be suppressed.
According to a preferred embodiment, the hook portion is disposed over the entire surface of a core disposition region overlapping the absorbent core in the thickness direction. According to this aspect, the absorbent article can be locked to the wearing article via the hook portion over the entire core placement region. The entire region where the absorbent core for absorbing body fluid is disposed is less likely to float from the wearing article, and the problem of accidental attachment of body fluid to the body or leakage of body fluid can be suppressed.
According to a preferred aspect, the absorbent article has a flap portion that is disposed on the outer side in the width direction than the core disposition region and that bulges out on the outer side in the width direction. The hook portion is disposed on the flap portion. The flap portion is not provided with an absorbent core, and has a lower rigidity than the core-provided region, and may be twisted when worn. However, according to the present embodiment, since the hook portion is disposed on the flap portion, the flap portion can also be locked to the wearing article via the hook portion, and twisting of the flap portion during wearing can be suppressed.
According to a preferred embodiment, the hook portion is disposed over the entire surface of the back surface sheet. According to this aspect, since the back sheet is disposed on the entire surface of the absorbent article and the hooks are disposed over the entire surface of the back sheet, the entire surface of the absorbent article can be locked to the wearing article via the hooks.
According to a preferred embodiment, the base portion has a thickness greater than a height of the hook portion. Since the base portion is thicker than the hook portion, the base portion tends to have a higher proportion of rigidity contributing to the back panel than the hook portion. The base portion extends in a planar direction throughout the entirety of the back sheet. On the other hand, the hook portions are arranged at intervals in the planar direction, and a difference in rigidity is generated in the back sheet depending on the presence or absence of the hook portions. However, since the base portion has a higher proportion of contributing to the rigidity of the back sheet than the hook portion, the difference in rigidity due to the presence or absence of the hook portion hardly contributes to the rigidity of the entire back sheet, and variation in rigidity of the back sheet can be suppressed. Therefore, by suppressing variation in rigidity of the back sheet, local breakage of the hook portion can be suppressed, and the locked state with respect to the wearing article can be easily maintained.
(2) Absorbent article of embodiment
Hereinafter, an absorbent article according to an embodiment will be described with reference to the drawings. The absorbent article may be an absorbent article such as a sanitary napkin, panty liner, breast pad, adult incontinence pad, fecal pad or sweat pad. The absorbent article may be used by being attached to the inside of a wearing article such as underwear. In the following description of the drawings, the same or similar parts are denoted by the same or similar reference numerals. However, it should be noted that the drawings are schematic, and the proportions of the respective dimensions and the like may be different from those in reality. Therefore, specific dimensions and the like should be determined with reference to the following description. In addition, the drawings may have different dimensional relationships and ratios from each other.
Fig. 1 is a plan view of the absorbent article of the embodiment as viewed from the skin surface side. Fig. 2 is a plan view of the absorbent article of the embodiment as viewed from the non-skin surface side. Fig. 3 is a sectional view taken along line a-a shown in fig. 1. Fig. 4 is an enlarged view of a portion B shown in fig. 3. Fig. 1 and 2 are plan views of the unfolded state where the sheet is not folded by a fold described later. For convenience of explanation, the hook portion is not shown in fig. 2. The absorbent article 1 has a front-back direction L, a width direction W, and a thickness direction T. The front-back direction L is a direction extending from the front side (ventral side) to the back side (dorsal side) of the wearer or a direction extending from the back side to the front side of the wearer. The width direction W is a direction orthogonal to the front-rear direction L. The thickness direction T is a direction extending to the skin surface side T1 and the non-skin surface side T2. Here, the "skin surface side" corresponds to a side facing the skin of the wearer during use. The "non-skin-side" corresponds to a side facing the skin of the wearer during use.
The absorbent article 1 has a crotch region S2, a front region S1, and a back region S3. The crotch region S2 is a region disposed to face an excretory opening of the wearer, for example, a vaginal opening. When the absorbent article 1 is attached to a wearing article, the crotch region S2 is a region disposed below the crotch of the wearing article and between the legs of the wearer. The front region S1 is located more anteriorly than the crotch region S2. The front end edge of the front side region S1 defines the front end edge of the absorbent article 1. The rear region S3 is located rearward of the crotch region S2. The rear end edge of the rear region S3 defines the rear end edge of the absorbent article 1.
The flap portion 25 may be provided in the crotch region S2. The flap 25 extends outward in the width direction W from the absorbent core 30 and is folded toward the non-skin surface side T2 of the wearing article when in use. The flap part 25 may have a surface sheet 10 and a back sheet 20. The tip edge of the fin 25 is defined by the root of the fin 25, and corresponds to the portion located on the front side out of 2 portions recessed inward in the width direction W. The front end edge of the flap 25 may define the boundary between the crotch region S2 and the front region S1. The rear end edge of the fin portion 25 is defined by the root of the fin portion 25, and corresponds to a portion located on the rear side out of 2 portions recessed inward in the width direction W. The rear end edge of the flap 25 may define the boundary between the crotch region S2 and the rear region S3. In an absorbent article without the flap portion 25, the front region S1, the crotch region S2, and the rear region S3 may be formed by regions 3 times as large as the longitudinal direction L of the absorbent article 1 at the position where the longitudinal direction L of the absorbent article 1 is longest.
The outer portion in the present invention means a portion that occupies a fixed range in the width direction W including an outer edge in the width direction W, and the outer edge means an outer edge in the width direction W. The inner side portion in the present invention means a portion that occupies a certain range in the width direction W including an inner edge in the width direction W, and the inner edge means an inner edge in the width direction W. In the present invention, the front end portion and the rear end portion are portions that occupy a certain range in the front-rear direction L including edges in the front-rear direction L, and the front end edge and the rear end edge are edges in the front-rear direction L. The outer end portion includes a front end portion and a rear end portion, and the outer end edge includes a front end edge and a rear end edge. The inner side edge is an edge that includes an inner edge and extends in the front-rear direction. The outer side edge is an edge that includes an outer edge and extends in the front-rear direction. In addition, in the present specification, the term "along the front-rear direction L" refers to a direction having an angle of less than 45 ° with respect to the front-rear direction L, and the term "along the width direction W" refers to a direction having an angle of less than 45 ° with respect to the width direction W.
The absorbent article 1 has at least a surface sheet 10, an absorbent core 30, and a back sheet 20. The topsheet 10 is a sheet facing the skin of the wearer. The topsheet 10 is disposed toward the skin of the wearer during use. The topsheet 10 may be composed of a nonwoven fabric or woven fabric having fibers. The topsheet 10 may be composed of a liquid-permeable sheet. The topsheet 10 may be constituted by 1 sheet, or may be constituted by a central sheet covering the center of the absorbent core 30 in the width direction W and side sheets overlapping the outer side portions of the central sheet. The absorbent core 30 extends in the front-rear direction L of the absorbent article 1. The absorbent core 30 has an absorbent material capable of absorbing moisture. The absorbent material can exemplify pulp and Super Absorbent Polymers (SAP). The absorbent core 30 may be covered with a core wrap layer composed of a crepe paper or the like. The absorbent core 30 may be disposed at least in the crotch region S2 and the rear region S3, or may be disposed in the front region S1, the crotch region S2, and the rear region S3. The back sheet 20 faces the side opposite to the wearer's skin in use, and abuts against the wearing article. The back sheet 20 is a liquid-impermeable sheet and is positioned on the side closest to the non-skin surface of the absorbent article. The front sheet 10 and the back sheet 20 are disposed on the entire plane of the absorbent article 1. The back sheet 20 will be described in detail later.
The absorbent article 1 may be individually wrapped by the wrapping sheet 40 before use. More specifically, the absorbent article 1 can be enclosed in the packaging sheet 40 by folding the packaging sheet 40 and the absorbent article 1 together in a state where the absorbent article 1 is placed on the packaging sheet 40 (the state shown in fig. 1 and 2). The packaging sheet may be made of known materials such as film, nonwoven fabric, and woven fabric. Fig. 5 shows the absorbent article 1 in a folded state folded from a plurality of creases as base points. Fig. 5(a) is a plan view of a folded state, and fig. 5(b) is a sectional view taken along the line C-C shown in fig. 5 (a). The packaging sheet 40 can cover the non-skin-side surface T2 of the back sheet 20 in the unfolded state and the folded state. The plurality of folding lines may be folding lines for folding so that the skin surface side T1 of the absorbent article 1 faces each other, or may be along the front-back direction L or the width direction W. The absorbent article 1 of the present embodiment is folded with the first fold line FW1 and the second fold line FW2 along the width direction W as base points. The first fold FW1 is provided on the rear side of the second fold FW 2.
Next, the back sheet 20 will be described in detail. As shown in fig. 4, the back sheet 20 has: a base portion 21 extending in a plane direction including a front-rear direction L and a width direction W; and a hook portion 22 protruding from the base portion 21 toward the non-skin surface side T2 and engaged with the wearing article. The hook 22 is made of the same material and the same member as the base 21, and is formed continuously with the base 21. The base portion 21 is a layer having a prescribed thickness, and the thickness thereof may be constant. The base part 21 covers the non-skin surface side T2 of the absorbent core 30 or the non-skin surface side T2 of the core wrap. The hook 22 may have a shaft 221 extending from the base 21 in the thickness direction T and an umbrella 222 extending in the planar direction from the shaft 221. The umbrella portion 222 is configured to be expanded in the planar direction from the shaft portion 221 and to be hooked on a wearing article or a front sheet. The entire thickness of the back sheet 20 may be 30 μm to 100 μm, and the height of the hook 22 may be 10 μm to 30 μm.
With this configuration, the absorbent article 1 can be locked to the wearing article via the hook 22 protruding toward the non-skin surface side T2 of the base portion 21. When the absorbent article 1 is worn, various forces are applied to the absorbent article 1 due to movement of the legs and the like. At this time, since the hook 22 is the same member as the base 21 and the hook 22 is formed continuously with the base 21, it is difficult to form a portion having a locally low rigidity such as a coupling portion between the hook 22 and the base 21. Therefore, when various forces are applied to the absorbent article 1, the entire back sheet 20 receives the forces, and local breakage of the hook portions 22 can be suppressed. By suppressing the breakage of the hook 22, the locked state with respect to the wearing article is easily maintained. In addition, when the absorbent article 1 is discarded after use, the absorbent article 1 is usually kneaded into a mass so that the skin surface side T1 to which excreta adheres becomes the inner side. The topsheet 10 is disposed so as to cover the non-skin surface side T2 of the backsheet 20 in a state where the skin surface side T1 of the absorbent article 1 is kneaded inward into a ball. Since the back sheet 20 has the hook 22 protruding toward the non-skin surface side T2, the hook 22 is locked to the front sheet 10, and the absorbent article 1 can be maintained in a state of being kneaded into a mass. The absorbent article 1 can be discarded cleanly by the hook 22 while maintaining the state of the absorbent article 1 kneaded into a mass at the time of disposal. The absorbent article 1 needs to be continuously locked to a wearing article during use and to be peeled off from the wearing article after use. Therefore, the hook portion preferably has both an engagement strength for continuously locking to the wearing article and a peel strength for easily peeling.
The plurality of hook portions 22 are arranged at intervals in the front-rear direction L, and the plurality of hook portions are arranged at intervals in the width direction W. The height H22 of the plurality of hooks 22 may be constant. Here, the term "height H22 of the hook 22 is constant" means a concept including a height within ± 15 μm with respect to the height of any hook. That is, in the case where the heights of the plurality of hook portions 22 are slightly different, if the difference between the height of the highest hook portion 22 and the height of the lowest hook portion 22 is 30 μm, the plurality of hook portions 22 are constant. As shown in fig. 4, the height H22 of the hook 22 is a height relative to the base portion 21. In the structure having the hook portions 22 having different heights, the force applied to the hook portions 22 varies depending on the height, and the force is locally applied to a part of the hook portions 22, and there is a possibility that the part of the hook portions 22 is broken. However, since the heights of the plurality of hooks 22 are constant, variation in force due to difference in height can be suppressed, and the force is applied to the entire back sheet 20, thereby suppressing local breakage of the hooks 22.
The hook portions 22 may be disposed over the entire core disposition region R30 that overlaps the absorbent core 30 in the thickness direction T. The core placement region R30 is a region where the absorbent core 30 is placed in a plan view as shown in fig. 1 and the like, and is a region hatched in fig. 1. The base portion 21 is provided on the entire surface of the back sheet 20, and the hooks 22 are disposed at intervals. Therefore, the configuration in which the hook portions 22 are arranged over the entire core arrangement region R30 is not limited to the configuration in which the hook portions 22 are arranged so as to completely fill the entire surface of the core arrangement region R30, and includes the configuration in which the hook portions 22 are arranged over the entire core arrangement region R30 with a constant interval as in the present embodiment. With this configuration, the absorbent article 1 can be locked to the wearing article via the hook 22 over the entire core placement region R30. The region (core disposition region) R30 in which the absorbent core 30 that absorbs bodily fluids is disposed is less likely to float from the worn article as a whole, and can suppress the occurrence of a problem in which bodily fluids accidentally adhere to the body or leak out.
The hook portion 22 may be disposed at the flap portion. The flap portion is a portion that is disposed outward in the width direction W from the core disposition region R30 and bulges outward in the width direction W. The flap portion 25 of the present embodiment constitutes a flap portion. The flap portion may include a hip flap portion bulging outward in the width direction in the rear region S3. The flap portion is not provided with the absorbent core 30, and has lower rigidity than the core placement region R30, and may be twisted when worn. However, since the hook portion 22 is disposed on the flap portion, the flap portion can also be locked to the wearing article via the hook portion, and twisting of the flap portion during wearing can be suppressed.
The hook 22 may be disposed over the entire surface of the back sheet 20. Here, the configuration in which the hook portions 22 are arranged over the entire surface of the back sheet 20 is not limited to the configuration in which the hook portions 22 are arranged so as to completely fill the entire surface of the back sheet 20, and includes the configuration in which the hook portions 22 are arranged over the entire back sheet 20 at a constant interval as in the present embodiment. According to such a configuration, since the back sheet 20 is disposed on the entire surface of the absorbent article 1 and the hooks 22 are disposed over the entire surface of the back sheet 20, the entire surface of the absorbent article 1 can be locked to the wearing article via the hooks 22.
The thickness T21 of the base portion 21 may be thicker than the height H22 of the hook portion 22. Since the thickness T21 of the base portion 21 is thicker than the hook portion 22, the base portion 21 tends to have a higher proportion of rigidity of the back sheet 20 than the hook portion 22. The base portion 21 extends in the planar direction throughout the entire back surface sheet 20. On the other hand, the hook portions 22 are arranged at intervals in the planar direction. Therefore, a difference in rigidity occurs in the back sheet 20 depending on the presence or absence of the hook 22. However, since the base portion 21 has a higher proportion of contributing to the rigidity of the back sheet 20 than the hook portions 22, the difference in rigidity due to the presence or absence of the hook portions 22 hardly contributes to the rigidity of the entire back sheet 20, and variation in rigidity of the back sheet 20 can be suppressed. Therefore, by suppressing variation in rigidity of the back sheet 20, local breakage of the hook portions 22 can be suppressed, and the locked state with respect to the wearing article can be easily maintained.
At least a portion of the back sheet 20 may be covered by the packaging sheet 40 in a folded state as shown in fig. 5. The hook 22 may be engaged with the packing sheet 40. The hook 22 before use can be covered with the packaging sheet 40 and the hook 22 can be protected. The problem that the hook 22 is accidentally caught by the topsheet 10 before the absorbent article 1 is used can be suppressed. In addition, compared to a configuration in which the absorbent article 1 is locked to the wearing article by a conventional adhesive, a release sheet for protecting the adhesive and the adhesive is not required, and the number of components can be reduced.
In the unfolded state, the back sheet 20 may have a non-covering region NR that is not covered by the packaging sheet 40 in the unfolded state. The non-covered region NR is a region of the back sheet 20, which is not covered with the packaging sheet 40 in the developed state shown in fig. 2. In fig. 2, the non-coverage area NR is hatched. In the developed state, a part of the back sheet 20 is covered with the packaging sheet 40, and the other part (non-covering region NR) of the back sheet 20 is not covered with the back sheet 20. The unfolded state is a state in which the absorbent article 1 is not folded with the fold line as a base point, and in the form of having a plurality of fold lines, the absorbent article is not folded with any fold line as a base point. As shown in fig. 5(b), in the folded state, the hook 22 of the non-covered region NR may be disposed to face the front sheet 10 or may be engaged with the front sheet 10. In the folded state, the hook portions 22 in the non-covered region NR can be covered with the front sheet 10, and the hook portions 22 other than the non-covered region NR can be covered with the back sheet 20. The hook 22 can be prevented from being accidentally caught by the sheet or the like before the absorbent article 1 is used. In the present embodiment, the folded state is maintained by the seal tape 45 that stops the end of the packaging sheet 40 in the folded state. However, in the folded state, the hook portions 22 of the back sheet 20 are locked to the front sheet 10, and thus the folded state can be maintained without using the seal tape 45 for joining the package sheets 40 to each other.
In the modified example, the entire back sheet 20 may be covered with the packaging sheet 40 in the developed state. Since the entire back sheet 20 is covered with the packaging sheet 40, the entire hook portion 22 before use can be covered with the packaging sheet 40, and the hook portion 22 can be protected. The problem that the hook 22 is accidentally caught by the topsheet 10 before the absorbent article 1 is used can be suppressed.
The present invention has been described in detail with reference to the above embodiments, but it is obvious to those skilled in the art that the present invention is not limited to the embodiments described in the present specification. The present invention can be implemented as modifications and variations without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention defined by the claims. Therefore, the description of the present specification is for illustrative purposes and does not have any limiting meaning to the present invention.
Further, japanese patent application No. 2009-180262 filed on 30/9/2019 is incorporated herein by reference in its entirety.
