Abstract

Background
The main throttle valve of the steam turbine is generally horizontally installed, the requirement on the concentricity of a valve rod and a valve butterfly is high, the stroke of the pre-opening valve is 18mm, and the designed value of the radial clearance is 0.30 mm.
At present, a valve rod of the pre-opening valve is thinned, a gap between the valve rod of the pre-opening valve and a valve butterfly is increased, and the valve rod is disassembled for maintenance when reaching an A-level maintenance period. Namely, the storage space of the oxide skin is increased, and the time for generating the jamming is prolonged.
