Description

Foot-rest stool with massage function
Technical Field
The invention relates to the field of massage chairs, in particular to a footrest with a massage function.
Background
As conventional massagers for massaging the calf and sole of the lower limb, there are some of the following massagers:
a massage chair in which a footrest (ottoman) portion is provided to extend from the front end of a seat portion of a massage chair main body provided with a massage mechanism, different massage devices are provided on the front and back sides of the footrest portion, and the footrest portion is supported so as to be reversible (see, for example, patent document 1).
A massage device in which a massage body incorporating a massage mechanism is rotatably supported on a support base, and which can be switched between a holding state in which the posture of the massage body relative to the support base is restricted as the massage body is lowered relative to the support base, and a holding state in which the posture of the massage body relative to the support base is released as the massage body is raised relative to the support base, allowing the massage body and the support base to rotate relative to each other (see, for example, patent document 3).
A stepping massager includes legs and a stepping base supported by a lifting device at upper portions of the legs, and the height of the stepping base can be adjusted by the lifting device (see, for example, patent document 3).

However, in the above-described massage machine, since the ottoman portion is provided on the seat portion of the chair main body, the ottoman can be used only by sitting on the massage chair when massaging the calf and the sole of the foot.
In the above-described massage device, although the human body in contact with the upper surface of the massage body is massaged by the built-in massage mechanism, the upper surface of the massage body is flat, and the portion that can contact the human body is only a flat portion such as the waist, the calf, or the bottom of the foot, and a sufficient massage effect cannot be obtained.
In the above-mentioned massage machine, although the height of the foothold can be adjusted, the pair of foot placing recesses of the foothold is usually exposed, and therefore the foot placing recesses are not smooth when viewed outside the massage time, and not only the form of placement is not good in daily life, but also the posture is forced to be not free when used only as a footrest.
Patent document No. CN2673369Y discloses a massager including: a drive unit (1) for accommodating the air pump, the tube for the air passage, the circuit board, and the like; a pair of supporting parts (2) which are respectively vertically arranged at two ends of the driving part (1) and are in a roughly triangular shape; a foot rest (3) rotatably supported on the support part (2) and capable of being fixed at a plurality of preset angles within a specified angle range. The foot rest (3) has a massage section (3A) for massaging the limbs on one side and a placement surface (3B) for placing the limbs on the other side located on the opposite side of the massage section (3A). Under the condition of massaging, the massage part (3A) is positioned at the upper side and the foot rest (3) is fixed; in the case of use as a footrest (ottoman) or in the case of standing as furniture when not in use, the placement surface (3B) is positioned on the upper side and the footrest (3) is fixed.
The massager in this patent document solves the above-mentioned problems; however, those skilled in the art have found that the massager disclosed in the patent document has the following problems:
1) the pedal table in the massager can only rotate back and forth and cannot lift up and down, namely the requirements of people with different heights cannot be met;
2) the massage mode is single, and the massage can be carried out only by stretching and contracting the air bag.
