一种配置预编码的方法及装置，方法可以提高时域预编码轮询的灵活性。方法包括：第一通信设备确定参考信号配置信息，其中，参考信号配置信息包括参考信号相干时间，参考信号相干时间用于指示采用相同预编码发送参考信号的时长。在一个参考信号周期内，第一通信设备基于参考信号配置信息向第二通信设备发送参考信号，其中，参考信号基于相关时间进行预编码。
