Description

Sofa with movable armrest
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a sofa having a movable armrest, and more particularly, to a sofa having a movable armrest, which can be disposed at a desired position according to a user's use mode, a coupling direction of an auxiliary sofa, or the like, thereby maximizing convenience in use of the sofa.
Background
Sofas are daily necessities for providing a space for a user to rest comfortably, and are widely used in homes, offices, and the like. Such sofas typically include a seat cushion upon which the user may sit and a back rest upon which the back of the user may rest. Also, according to the use mode, at least one of both side end portions of the sofa cushion may include a fixedly installed armrest.
Since the sofa provided with such armrests is manufactured in a predetermined form, its use is limited. That is, since the user can use the seat cushion only when the user sits on the side of the seat cushion provided with the armrests, the user who wants to use the armrests cannot sit on the center portion of the sofa.
In addition, when the auxiliary sofa or the like is disposed on the side surface of the wide sofa, the armrest may not be provided in a portion corresponding to the disposition position of the auxiliary sofa. Therefore, even if a user wants to change the arrangement of the sofa and the auxiliary sofa, there is a problem of inconvenience.
In order to solve the above problems, armrests or the like that can be exchanged on both sides are disclosed, and the armrests can be removed or selectively attached to and detached from the left side or the right side of the seat cushion by considering the area and atmosphere of the installation place, the size of the sofa, and the like.
Such a conventional sofa is formed in a shape in which armrests are inserted into grooves formed at both side end portions of a backrest. Although such a conventional sofa has an advantage in that the armrests of both side end portions can be selectively used, there is still a problem in that the positions of the armrests are limited only to both side end portions of the sofa.
Further, in the case where no armrest is provided, since the groove formed in the backrest or the seat cushion portion is in an empty state, it is very inconvenient to use or a separate member for filling such a space is required, and there is a problem in that it is difficult to store such a separate member or a risk of loss occurs when not used.

Technical problem
In order to solve the conventional problems, an object of the present invention is to provide a sofa having a movable armrest, which is configured to be movable at a desired position according to a user's use mode, a coupling direction of an auxiliary sofa, or the like, thereby maximizing convenience in use of the sofa.
The object of the present invention is not limited to this, and other objects not mentioned can be clearly understood by those skilled in the art to which the present invention pertains from the following description.
Technical scheme
The sofa with the movable armrest for achieving the object of the present invention as described above includes: a base; a cushion which is arranged on the upper part of the base and provides a space for users to sit; a backrest, which is arranged at one side of the base and can enable the user to lean against the body; a guide rail provided on one side of the base corresponding to a connecting portion between the seat cushion and the backrest in a width direction of the seat cushion; and an armrest coupled to the guide rail and capable of changing an arrangement position by sliding along a longitudinal direction of the guide rail.
The above-mentioned handrail can include: a coupling portion coupled to the guide rail and moving along the guide rail; a connecting portion having one end coupled to the coupling portion and the other end exposed to the outside of the seat cushion and the backrest by a predetermined length; and a cushion part coupled to one side of the other end of the connection part.
Further, a plurality of locking projections for preventing the position of the coupling portion from being arbitrarily changed are provided along the longitudinal direction of the guide rail on the inner side of the guide rail.
Further, an opening portion for maintaining or inspecting the guide rail or the armrest portion may be formed at a rear surface side of the base on which the backrest is provided.
An opening/closing portion capable of opening and closing the opening portion is further provided on the rear surface side of the base including the opening portion.
Advantageous effects
The sofa with the movable armrest of the present invention has the following effects.
First, since a user can selectively use the position of the armrest, both sides or any one of the armrests can be moved to a position desired by the user according to the user's needs to maximize the user's convenience.
Second, since the user can selectively change the position of the armrest to use the sofa, the user can create various sofa atmospheres by arranging the auxiliary sofa at a desired position on the left side or the right side of the sofa, unlike the left-side sofa or the right-side sofa.
Third, in the case where the user sits down or lies down, since the position of the armrest can be appropriately and selectively used according to the body type of the user, optimum comfort can be provided regardless of the body type of the user.
Fourth, since the armrest can be smoothly moved along the guide rail, anyone can easily change the arrangement position of the armrest.
Fifth, since the state of the coupling portion between the guide rail and the armrest coupled to the guide rail can be confirmed through the opening portion formed in the base, inspection is facilitated, and in the case of a malfunction, inspection and maintenance can be easily performed by confirming the position of the malfunction through the opening portion and removing only the seat cushion or the backrest of the portion.
The effects of the present invention are not limited to the above-mentioned effects, and other effects not mentioned can be clearly understood by those skilled in the art to which the present invention pertains from the description of the claimed scope of the invention.

Detailed Description
Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
The invention provides a sofa with movable armrests, which changes the positions of the armrests to the positions desired by users according to the convenience of the users and maximizes the convenience of the users. The structure of the sofa having the movable armrest will be described in more detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Provided is a sofa structure having movable armrests.
Fig. 1 is a perspective view of a sofa having a movable armrest according to the present invention, fig. 2 is a sectional view taken along line a-a of fig. 1, fig. 3 is a sectional view of a movable armrest and a guide rail according to the present invention, and fig. 4 is an exploded perspective view of a sofa having a movable armrest according to the present invention. As shown in fig. 1 to 4, the sofa 10 with movable armrests according to the present invention is substantially composed of a base 100, a seat cushion 200, a backrest 300, guide rails 400, and armrests 500.
The base 100 defines the overall size and shape of the sofa 10 and provides space in which the seat cushion 200 and backrest 300 may be placed. Such a base 100 can be formed in various sizes and shapes according to the preference of a user, a use mode, and the like by using wood or steel materials so as to stably support the load of the user when the user uses the base. As shown in the drawings, although the present invention is described mainly with respect to the base 100 in which the backrest 300 and the seat cushion 200 are partially integrated, the base 100 may be used in which the backrest is separated or not provided depending on the mode of use. Since such a chassis 100 is formed of the same or similar structure as a chassis generally used in the art, detailed description will be omitted.
Fig. 5 is a rear perspective view of the sofa with armrests according to the present invention. As shown in fig. 5, an open portion 110 may be formed on a rear surface side of the base 100 of the present invention, and thus, a coupled state of the guide rail 400 and the armrest 500 coupled to the guide rail 400, etc. may be easily checked and maintained without separating the seat cushion 200 and the backrest 300 of the sofa 10. The size of the open portion 110 may be formed in various sizes in consideration of the size of the sofa 10 and the like. In addition, an opening/closing unit that can open and close the opening unit 110 may be provided to prevent foreign matter such as external dust from flowing in through the opening unit 110. Any device may be used as the opening/closing unit as long as it can open/close the opening unit 110 by various methods such as a folding type or a slide type.
The seat cushion 200 is provided on the upper side of the base 100, and provides a space in which a user can sit. In this case, in order to provide a space in which the guide rail 400 can be disposed, the seat cushion 200 is preferably provided so as to be spaced apart from the side of the backrest 300 coupled to the base 100 by a predetermined distance. Such a seat cushion 200 may include a cushion member for improved comfort when a user is seated.
The backrest 300 is inclined at a predetermined angle with respect to the base 100 on which the seat cushion 200 is provided, and is provided on one side of the base 100 disposed at a position where the user can lean against the backrest, thereby providing a space in which the user can lean on the backrest when the user is seated. In this case, it is preferable that the backrest 300 is spaced apart from the upper surface of the base 100 by a predetermined distance to provide a space in which the guide rail 400 can be disposed. In the case of a user leaning on the backrest, such a backrest 300 may include a cushion member for improved comfort.
The aforementioned seat cushion 200 and backrest 300 are generally used in the art, and thus detailed descriptions thereof will be omitted.
The guide rail 400 is a device that provides a path along which the armrest 500 can slide on one side of the base 100, and is preferably provided on one side of the base 100 where the seat cushion 200 and the backrest 300 are coupled, so as to have a longitudinal direction along the width direction of the base 100. Any device may be used for the guide rail 400 as long as it can provide a path in which the position of the armrest 500 can be changed. However, it is preferable to have a length corresponding to the width of the sofa 10 so that the armrest 500 can be changed to any position desired by the user along the width direction of the sofa 10. Such a guide 400 can be configured to have various cross-sections in consideration of a coupling method of the handrail 500, and the like. As an example, as shown in fig. 2 to 4, the rail may be formed of a hollow pipe-shaped rail whose upper surface side is open in the longitudinal direction. As another mode of use, it may be formed of a track having a cross section of a 'T' shape or a 'cross' shape. Further, according to the usage mode, a plurality of locking projections may be formed along the longitudinal direction on the inner side, and the position of the armrest 500 may be fixed at a position that is changed by a user.
The armrest 500 is a device that can be exposed to the outside so that one end is coupled to the guide rail 400 and the other end can be placed on the upper portion of the seat cushion 200 in order to change the position, and can lift the arm when a user sits on the seat cushion 200, or can lift the head or the feet depending on the use mode in a state where the user lies on the seat cushion 200. The armrest 500 is generally composed of a joint portion 510, a connecting portion 520, and a cushion portion 530.
The coupling portion 510 is a device that allows the armrest 500 to smoothly move along the guide rail 400 by being coupled to the guide rail 400. Such a coupling portion 510 may be formed in various structures and forms according to the structure and coupling method of the guide rail 400. As an example, as described above, in the case of being formed of a hollow pipe shape having an open upper portion as shown in fig. 2 to 4, the guide rail 400 may include: a hexahedral body having an outer circumferential surface corresponding to an inner circumferential surface of the guide rail 400; and at least one rotating roller is respectively arranged on the two side wall surfaces of the body. Thereby, the rotary roller can be flexibly and smoothly moved along the guide rail 400 by the rotation thereof. As still another example, if the guide rail 400 is formed in a T shape, it can be moved along the guide rail 400 by a hollow hexahedral body having an open lower portion and a rotating roller provided on an inner sidewall surface of the body. As another example, if the guide rail 400 is formed in a cross shape, it may be configured to move along the guide rail 400 by a body having a hollow hexahedral shape with an open lower portion and rotating rollers having a double structure provided at inner sides of the body and spaced apart from each other. As such, various shapes may be formed according to the shape of the joint 510. In addition to the rotating roller, any device may be used as long as it is a device that can smoothly and easily move along the guide roller.
If the locking protrusion is formed in the guide rail 400, the rotation roller does not apply a force greater than a reference value, and the rotation roller is locked to the locking protrusion, so that the position of the handrail 500 is not changed. For this purpose, the diameter of the rotary roller may be relatively smaller than the inner height of the guide rail 400, and it is preferable that locking protrusions having a predetermined interval are formed along the longitudinal direction on the lower side of the guide rail 400 corresponding to the rotary roller. When the locking projection is formed in this manner, if a force equal to or greater than the reference value is generated, the rotating roller moves over the locking projection and changes the position, and if a force equal to or less than the reference value is generated, the rotating roller cannot move over the locking projection, and therefore, the position is prevented from being changed arbitrarily.
One end of the link 520 is coupled to one side of the coupling portion 510, preferably, to an upper side of a body of the coupling portion 510, and the other end is configured to be exposed to the outside by a predetermined length through a space between the seat cushion 200 and the backrest 300. In this case, the connecting portion 520 is preferably formed of a rigid material such as a metal material, and may be bent in various shapes in consideration of the shapes of the seat cushion 200 and the backrest 300, or may be formed of a bent flat plate, tube, or rod shape. Although the connection part 520 has a length corresponding to the length of the handrail 500 as shown in fig. 2 and 3, and stably transmits the force to the coupling part 510 even if a user moves while grasping any portion of the handrail 500, the exposed length may be selectively determined in consideration of the length, thickness, and the like of the handrail 500.
The cushion part 530 is provided at one end of the connection part 520, and may be configured by considering the shape of the backrest 300 and the seat cushion 200, the height of the armrest 500, the convenience of a user, and the like. Since such a cushion part 530 is formed of a structure similar to that of the armrest 500 generally used in the art, a detailed description thereof will be omitted.
Mode of use of sofa with movable armrest
Hereinafter, the mode of use of the sofa 10 with the movable armrest according to the present invention having the above-described configuration will be described in more detail with reference to the drawings.
Fig. 6 is a perspective view showing a use mode of the moving armrest according to the present invention. As shown in fig. 6, even if a user does not sit on the end portions of the seat cushion 200, and wants to use the armrest 500 after sitting at a desired position of the sofa 10 having the movable armrest of the present invention, the user can use the armrest 500 by moving the armrest 500.
For example, by moving the armrests 500 on both sides, both arms can be placed on the armrests 500 like the personal sofa 10. As still another use mode, in the case where the center portion of the sofa 10 is seated, an article may be placed by moving only one side armrest 500, or may be used by placing the arm of the user.
As another use mode, in the case where a user lies on the seat cushion 200 for use, one of the armrests 500 may be used as a pillow and the other armrest 500 may be used by changing the disposition position of the armrest 500 to place legs, depending on the body shape of the user.
As described above, in case of changing the position of the armrest 500 according to various usage modes and the needs of the user, the user can easily change the position of the armrest 500 since the armrest 500 can smoothly move along the guide rail 400 through the coupling portion 510.
Further, even when the auxiliary sofa 10 or the like is disposed on the left side or the right side of the sofa 10, since the position of the armrest 500 can be freely changed, furniture can be freely disposed in a living room or an office of a user, unlike the left-side sofa or the right-side sofa 10. Therefore, the user can freely arrange the sofa 10 without changing the sofa, and various atmospheres can be created.
Since the cushion part 530 of the armrest 500 according to the present invention is disposed in close contact with the seat cushion 200, even if a predetermined force is generated during use by a user, friction is generated on the surfaces of the cushion part 530 and the seat cushion 200 facing each other, and the armrest 500 does not shake arbitrarily without generating a force greater than or equal to the predetermined force. Therefore, the user can use the armrest 500 more conveniently and stably. Further, according to the usage pattern, the locking protrusion having a predetermined height along the longitudinal direction is formed to protrude from one side of the inner portion of the guide rail 400, and thus the armrest 500 can be more reliably prevented from being arbitrarily moved. That is, in order to drive the handrail 500, when the rotating roller provided at the coupling portion 510 receives a force equal to or greater than a reference value, the position of the handrail 500 can be changed by the locking protrusion of the guide rail 400. However, when the user does not change the position of the armrest 500, for example, when a force smaller than the reference value is transmitted to the coupling portion 510, such as when the user collides with the armrest during use, a sufficient force is not transmitted to the coupling portion 510, and the rotating roller is locked to the locking protrusion and does not move, so that the position is not changed at the arrangement position set by the user. As described above, since at least one of the frictional force generated in the pad part 530 of the armrest 500 and the seat cushion 200 and the locking protrusion prevents the armrest 500 from being arbitrarily changed in the arrangement position, the arrangement position of the armrest 500 is fixed by a mistake of a user. Thus, the user can use the armrest 500 more conveniently and stably by fixing it at a desired position.
As shown in fig. 5, when the rail is locked or the joint portion 510 of the maintenance rail or the armrest 500 is inspected during the use of the sofa 10 having the movable armrest according to the present invention, the defect portion can be confirmed or the maintenance can be performed through the opening portion 110 formed on the rear surface of the base 100 without separating the seat cushion 200 and the backrest 300. When the opening/closing part is provided in the opening part 110 and is not used, the opening part 110 is closed to prevent foreign substances from flowing into the inside of the chassis 100.
As described above, those skilled in the art to which the present invention pertains can implement other embodiments without changing the technical idea or essential features of the present invention. It must therefore be understood that the above-described embodiments are illustrative in all respects and not restrictive. The scope of the present invention is indicated by the appended claims rather than the detailed description of the invention, and all changes and modifications that come within the meaning and range of equivalency of the claims are to be construed as being embraced therein.
