Detailed Description
The following description of the technical solutions in the embodiments of the present application will be made clearly and completely with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present application, and it is apparent that the described embodiments are only some embodiments of the present application, but not all embodiments. All other embodiments obtained by those skilled in the art based on the embodiments herein without making any inventive effort are intended to fall within the scope of the present application.
In the design of the existing K1 Power server, the starting of the operating system of the server is realized by means of an external display, a keyboard and other input and output devices, namely, an operator can conduct the guidance of a starting source and the selection of a starting disk by means of the keyboard input related information under the condition that the operator sees the display output information, so that the correct preset operating system can be started. Although the next restart will be started with reference to the start sequence of the start disk set in the virtualization monitor (Hypervisor) after the server is preloaded with the operating system, in actual operation, two situations will bring about inconvenience in use: (1) In some cases, the server does not search the correct starting sequence, or the starting disk which should be started has a starting boot failure, at this time, the server cannot search the correct starting disk, at this time, because of the lack of input and output devices, the operator cannot interfere with the starting of the operating system of the server. (2) In some test environments, 2 or more different operating system versions are required to be preloaded in the server, and in practical application, the operating system versions need to be flexibly switched according to different test schemes, at this time, because of the lack of input and output devices, operators cannot interfere with the selection of the operating system of the server, so that free switching cannot be realized. Therefore, there is a need for a convenient management server boot disk design that addresses the above-described issues.
The core of the application is to provide a starting device, a starting method, a medium and a server of a server operating system.
In order to provide a better understanding of the present application, those skilled in the art will now make further details of the present application with reference to the drawings and detailed description.
