Detailed Description
The technical solutions in the embodiments of the present application will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present application, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are only a part of the embodiments of the present application, and not all the embodiments. All other embodiments obtained by a person of ordinary skill in the art based on the embodiments in the present application without any creative effort belong to the protection scope of the present application.
In the design of the conventional K1 Power server, the operating system of the server is started by means of input and output devices such as an external display and a keyboard, that is, when an operator sees output information of the display, the operator inputs related information by means of the keyboard to guide a starting source and select a starting disk, so that the correct preset operating system can be started. Although the next reboot will refer to the boot sequence of the boot disk set in the virtualization monitor (Hypervisor) to boot after the server is pre-installed with the operating system, there are two cases in actual operation that may cause inconvenience in use: (1) under certain conditions, the server does not retrieve the correct starting sequence or the starting disk which should be started has a starting guide fault, and the server cannot find the correct starting disk, and an operator cannot intervene in the starting of the operating system of the server due to the lack of the input and output equipment. (2) In some testing environments, 2 or more different operating system versions need to be pre-installed in a server, and in practical application, the operating system versions need to be flexibly switched according to different testing schemes. Therefore, a convenient management server boot disk design is needed to solve the above problems.
The core of the application is to provide a starting device, a method, a medium and a server of a server operating system.
In order that those skilled in the art will better understand the disclosure, the following detailed description will be given with reference to the accompanying drawings.

The number of the manual switches 1 and the starting disks 2 is not particularly limited in the embodiment of the present application, each starting disk 2 is provided with one manual switch 1 for setting the working state of the starting disk 2, the working state may include an off state and an off state, specifically, the starting disk 2 may be set to be 1(open) or 0(close) by the manual switch 1, the manual switch 1 of each starting disk 2 is only effective for the corresponding starting disk 2, and is not effective for other starting disks 2, and is only effective when the starting disk 2 is booted by the server, and the normal read-write function of the disk of the server device in the use process is not affected. The number of the SAS cards 3 is not specifically limited in the embodiment of the present application, and may be one or more, and the SAS card 3 is responsible for managing all the interfaces for starting the disk 2, and providing RAID protection and read-write caching. The user can set the boot disk 2 to be booted by the manual switch 1, and as shown in fig. 1, the manual switch of the fourth boot disk is set to 1, i.e., to the on state, so as to determine that the fourth boot disk (HDD/SDD 4) is desired to be booted this time. Each boot disk 2 can deploy an independent operating system by presetting or subsequently installing in a mirror image mode, so that each boot can correspond to the independent operating system, and when the server is started, boot information can be read from the boot disk 2 with the working state of the manual switch 1 being on, so as to start the operating system.
