Another object of the present invention is to provide a method for installing a lightning protection sleeve, comprising the steps of:
firstly, placing a wiring end cap 70 of the lightning protection sleeve on an end cap clamping ring 3 from top to bottom to clamp, inserting a core column 71 of the lightning protection sleeve on the wiring end cap 70, and penetrating a backing ring 73 of the lightning protection sleeve;
secondly, after the gap retaining mechanism is opened, a plurality of valve rings 72 are sleeved on the stem 71 from top to bottom;
thirdly, after the length of the length-adjusting sleeve 45 is adjusted according to the length of the sleeve 7, the sleeve 7 of the lightning protection sleeve passes through the fixed collar 4 from bottom to top and abuts against the pipe abutment plate 46 to clamp the sleeve 7;
fourthly, after the sleeve 7 is abutted, the height of the elastic poking piece 5 is adjusted according to the wall thickness of the sleeve 7, so that when the elastic poking piece 5 turns over a limiting angle, the inner end edge of the elastic poking piece 5 and the inner wall of the sleeve 7 are positioned on the same vertical surface;
