Description
Technical Field
The invention belongs to the technical field of nerve evaluation pens, and particularly relates to a diabetic foot early-stage nerve evaluation pen and an evaluation method thereof.
Background
Diabetic foot is a common plantar disease, and the incidence of diabetic foot is counted to be about 15% of diabetic inpatients, because of lower limb infection, ulcer formation and deep tissue destruction caused by the combined neuropathy and various degrees of peripheral vascular disease. Diabetic feet occur in 25% of the life cycle of diabetics. Amputation caused by the sugar foot accounts for half of the non-invasive lower limb amputation. The diabetic foot creates a tremendous medical and financial burden on the healthcare system, mental injury to the patient caused by impaired patient's ability to live, exercise or potentially productive.
Studies have shown that comprehensive assessment and early intervention helps to find a high-risk patient population for diabetic foot and reduce the likelihood of its hospitalization and amputation, as well as helps to diagnose and obtain a good prognosis for the diabetic foot patient population and reduce various risks during treatment. Clinically, the determination of whether a diabetic patient has a loss of protective sensation can be detected by some simple means. A simpler method, shown in FIG. 1, is to use 10 gram monofilament nylon wire test (Footscreen). The detection tool comprises a handle and nylon wires, when in test, the patient closes the eye and sits on the feet, the feet are flatly placed, the monofilaments are pressed vertically to the skin, one end of each nylon wire is contacted with the big toe, the heel and the outer side of the front sole of the patient, the other end of each nylon wire is lightly pressed until the monofilaments are bent and stay for 1-2 seconds and then are loosened, the patient can feel the nylon wires on the sole or the toe of the foot at the moment, the patient is normal, and otherwise, the patient is abnormal. The abnormal person often has neuropathy of crude fiber, is a high risk person of diabetic foot ulcer, and has peripheral neuropathy.
This method is simple and practical, but has a common problem: because the medical staff who tests master the bending degree and the strength of the nylon yarn, the pressure applied to the foot of the patient possibly cannot reach the requirement of 10g, so that the judgment of the patient on the irritation is affected, and the detection result is inaccurate.
