Abstract
The invention discloses a safety protective cover for the primer falling of firearms ammunition, belonging to the field of ammunition. The invention can effectively avoid the safety problem caused by accidental triggering of primer and propellant charge when various accidental impacts such as falling, collision and the like occur to the cannonball or the propellant charge module (charge cartridge) thereof in the service processing process. When the cannonball leaves a factory, a shallow-pot-shaped falling safety protection cover is additionally arranged on the bottom surface of a cannonball of the cannonball to cover primer positioned at the center of the bottom surface of the cannonball, so that accidental falling collision cannot directly impact the primer to cause accidental ignition. Before shooting, the protective cover is removed, and the gun can be normally used. Similarly, a primer falling safety protection cover can be additionally arranged outside the bullet shell.
Description
Technical Field
The invention belongs to the field of ammunition, mainly relates to a cannonball, and particularly relates to a protective cover for protecting the falling of a primer of the ammunition of a gun.
Background
Projectiles typically comprise a projectile, a cartridge, a propellant charge within the cartridge, and a primer secured centrally to the bottom end of the cartridge. The primer contains sensitive initiating agent, and is stimulated to fire (impact primer) by inputting mechanical energy (such as impact) or electric energy (electric primer) for outputting flame to ignite propellant powder.
Even if the primer is electric, the inner charge of the primer is sensitive to electric energy stimulation and mechanical stimulation, and the mechanical strength of the input end of the primer is often insufficient, so that when the charge cartridge of the fixed-loading shell or the split-loading shell is accidentally dropped or impacted during service treatment, particularly when the primer is dropped downwards to a sharp hard object or the primer impacts the sharp hard object, the primer can be accidentally ignited, and the charge is ignited, so that safety accidents are caused. Such accidents occur at times. For example, a 25 mm caliber, fixed-bore projectile in a factory line experiences an accidental drop of primer from the work bench down to a sharp hard object resulting in an accidental fire from the primer igniting the propellant charge. To avoid such accidents, ammunition production and use requires extra care in handling and handling the primed cartridge and the loaded projectile to prevent loss of hands and fall. From an ergonomic point of view, accidents involving accidental falls due to ammunition handling and handling errors cannot be completely avoided due to the presence of human factors. Therefore, the structural protection of the primer of the cannonball is necessary.
Disclosure of Invention
In order to avoid the safety problem caused by accidental triggering of primer and propellant charge due to various accidental impacts such as falling, collision and the like of a cannonball or a propellant charge module (a charge cartridge) thereof in the service processing process, the invention provides a safety protection cover for falling of the primer of the gun ammunition.
The technical solution for realizing the invention is as follows: a protective cover for protecting the safety of the primer falling of the ammunition of a gun is installed at the bottom of an ammunition cartridge, wherein the protective cover is in a shallow spittoon shape, the mouth of the protective cover is in a closed shape, the inner diameter of the protective cover is slightly smaller than the outer diameter of the bottom edge of the ammunition cartridge, and the protective cover can be buckled on the outer surface of the bottom of the ammunition cartridge after proper pressure is applied. The material of the protective cover is plastic, in particular polytetrafluoroethylene.
Compared with the prior art, the invention has the remarkable advantages that: the bottom surface of the cartridge case of the cannonball is additionally provided with the falling safety protective cover, so that the cannonball plays roles of protection, buffering and shock absorption under the conditions of impact and the like, and the safety problem that the 'shell-explosion' accident of igniting and launching explosive charges, even the main explosive charges in the projectile or the warhead continue to be detonated, caused by accidental ignition of primer due to impact is effectively solved. Ammunition primer falls safe visor designs according to the existing cartridge case of matching, does not change existing cartridge case design for service processing and use protection, only excise before closing on the shooting.
Compared with the shell, the bullet is almost fixed-loading type, the whole bullet of the large-caliber bullet has larger mass, and the problem of primer falling safety is also outstanding. Similarly, a primer falling safety protection cover can be arranged outside the bullet shell.

Detailed Description
The technical solutions in the embodiments of the present invention will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present invention, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are only a part of the embodiments of the present invention, and not all of the embodiments. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without inventive step, are within the scope of the present invention.
It should be noted that all the directional indicators (such as upper, lower, left, right, front and rear … …) in the embodiment of the present invention are only used to explain the relative position relationship between the components, the movement situation, etc. in a specific posture (as shown in the drawings), and if the specific posture is changed, the directional indicator is changed accordingly.
In the present invention, unless otherwise expressly specified or limited, the terms "connected," "secured," and the like are to be construed broadly, e.g., "secured" may be fixedly connected, releasably connected, or integral; "connected" may be mechanically or electrically connected. The specific meanings of the above terms in the present invention can be understood by those skilled in the art according to specific situations.

The following further introduces specific embodiments, technical difficulties and inventions of the present invention with reference to the design examples.
With reference to fig. 1, the present invention provides a protective cover for the primer fall safety of a firearm ammunition, which is mounted at the bottom rim of an ammunition cartridge 1 of a cannonball, wherein the protective cover 4 is in a shallow spittoon shape, the mouth of the protective cover 4 is in a closed mouth shape, the inner diameter of the mouth is slightly smaller than the outer diameter of the bottom rim of the ammunition cartridge 1, and the protective cover 4 can be buckled on the outer surface of the ammunition cartridge 1 after proper pressure is applied. The material of the protective cover 4 is plastic, such as polytetrafluoroethylene.
The colour of the protective cap 4 should be distinguishable from the colour of the cartridge 1 to help prevent spillage during use. The diameter of the mouth of the protective cover 4 is about 0.5 mm smaller than the diameter of the flange of the medicine cylinder 1, so that the fixing is reliable, and the protective cover can be conveniently taken off. The outer diameter of the protective cap 4 should be large enough to prevent it from being mistakenly fed into the bore together with the cartridge (full shot) in case of its missed escape. The bottom of the protective cover 4 should be thick enough to ensure that the intended function of preventing accidental triggering of a primer when accidentally falling onto a sharp object can be achieved.
The above is a detailed description of the protective cover for protecting the firearm ammunition primer from falling, and the structural principle and the embodiments of the present invention are explained herein by using specific examples, and the above examples are only used to help understand the method and the core idea of the present invention, and meanwhile, for those skilled in the art, there are changes in the specific embodiments and the application scope according to the idea of the present invention, and in conclusion, the contents of the present description should not be understood as a limitation to the present invention.
