Abstract

The technical subject of the invention is to provide a chair armrest which can support an arm and accommodate a writing tool. In order to achieve the object, the armrest for a chair is provided with a support part disposed on a seat part and supporting the arm of a user, and comprises: an arm support storage case provided at an upper end of the support portion, extending in a front-rear direction with respect to the seat portion, and having an upper open portion; and an arm support cover that opens and closes the upper open section and supports the arm of the user.

Background
Generally, a chair is one of furniture for a person to sit on, and is composed of a backrest, a seat, and legs. Such chairs are invented into various forms depending on various conditions such as usage and structure, and also applicable materials, and are widely used among students and in offices.
Fig. 1 is a view schematically showing a conventional chair.
As shown in fig. 1, the conventional chair includes: a leg 1 for supporting from the ground; a backrest 3 for supporting the back; a sitting portion 2 for sitting buttocks of a user; a wheel 4 disposed on the leg 1 for imparting flexibility; and armrests 5 disposed on both sides of the seat portion to support the arms of the user. Another technical object of the present invention is to provide an armrest for a chair, which can accommodate a cup.
Technical scheme
In order to achieve the object, an armrest for a chair according to an embodiment of the present invention includes, as an armrest for a chair that is provided at a seat portion via a support portion and supports an arm of a user: an arm support storage case provided at an upper end of the support portion, extending in a front-rear direction with respect to the seat portion, and having an upper open portion; and an arm support cover that opens and closes the upper open section and supports the arm of the user.
The armrest for a chair according to an embodiment of the present invention described above may further include a cup holder for cup placement provided between the upper end of the support portion and the arm support receiving case.
The armrest for a chair according to an embodiment of the present invention may further include a cup rotating part rotatably provided on the cup holder in order to cover or expose the cup holder to the outside through the arm supporting accommodation box.
The cup holder may include: a cup holder main body formed in a plate shape; and one or more cup placing holes formed in the cup holder main body for placing a cup.
The cup holder body may have the same size and the same shape as the bottom surface of the accommodation box for supporting an arm.
The cartridge rotating part may include: a vertical hinge shaft provided in any one of the cup holder main body and the arm support accommodation box and provided perpendicularly to an upper face of the cup holder main body; and the vertical hinge hole provided in the remaining one of the cup holder main body and the arm support receiving box and rotatably inserted into the vertical hinge shaft.
The arm support accommodation case may include one or more partition walls partitioning an inner space thereof.
The armrest for a chair according to an embodiment of the present invention further includes: a cover rotating part which rotatably sets the arm support cover in the arm rest accommodating case; an opening elastic body which is provided in the cover rotating part and applies elastic force in a direction of supporting the arm cover to be opened; and a cover locking portion provided between the arm supporting storage case and the arm support cover to put the arm support cover in a closed or opened state with respect to the upper opening portion.
The cover locking part may include: a locking member provided on the bottom surface of the arm support cover in a protruding manner and having a locking hole; a pinion gear rotatably provided in the arm supporting accommodation case; a first rack engaged with the pinion and having an insertion end corresponding to the locking hole; a second rack gear which is engaged with the pinion gear and moves in a direction opposite to the first rack gear, and has a pressing end exposed to the outside of the arm supporting accommodation case, and a locking elastic body which is provided between the pinion gear and the arm supporting accommodation case and applies a rotational force in a direction in which the insertion end portion of the first rack gear is inserted into the locking hole.
The upper face of the insertion end portion may have a shape gradually inclined downward in the insertion direction.
The armrest for a chair according to an embodiment of the present invention may further include a buffer member disposed on the upper surface of the arm support cover.
Effects of the invention
As described above, the armrest for a chair according to an embodiment of the present invention may have the following effects:

Further, according to an embodiment of the present invention, there is provided a technical configuration further including a partition wall partitioning an inner space of the arm storage case, so that the storage case can store articles such as writing tools separately, and the inner space of the arm storage case can be used more effectively.
Further, according to an embodiment of the present invention, there is provided a technical configuration further including a cover rotating portion, an opening elastic body, and a cover locking portion, so that the arm cover can be supported by an elastic force of the opening elastic body to be automatically opened without losing the arm cover in a case where only the cover plate locking portion is operated. When the user applies an opposite force, the support arm cover can be automatically locked by the cover locking portion.
Further, according to an embodiment of the present invention, there is provided a technical constitution further including a cushioning member, so that when a user puts an arm on the arm support cover, sufficient cushioning can be provided.

Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings so that those skilled in the art to which the present invention pertains can easily carry out them. This invention may, however, be embodied in many different forms and should not be construed as limited to the embodiments set forth herein.
Fig. 2 is a perspective view schematically showing an armrest for a chair according to an embodiment of the present invention, fig. 3 is a view of the armrest for a chair of fig. 2 taken along line III-III, fig. 4 is an enlarged view of a portion "a" of the armrest for a chair of fig. 3, fig. 5 is a view schematically showing an open state of a support arm cover of the armrest for a chair of fig. 3, and fig. 6 is a view of the armrest for a chair of fig. 2 taken along line VI-VI.
Fig. 6 is a view taken along line VI-VI of the armrest for a chair of fig. 2, and fig. 7 is a view schematically showing a state in which the accommodating box for supporting an arm is rotated in order to expose the cup holder in the armrest for a chair of fig. 2 to the outside.
As shown in fig. 2 to 7, the armrest 100 for a chair according to an embodiment of the present invention supports the arm of the user by disposing the support part 6 on the seat part 2, and thus may include a housing box 110 for supporting the arm and a support arm cover 120. Hereinafter, each constituent element will be described in detail with continued reference to fig. 2 to 7.
The arm support case 110 is not only a member for supporting the load of the arm of the user, but also a component for accommodating articles such as writing tools. As shown in fig. 2, the accommodation box 110 for supporting the arms may be provided at an upper end of the support part 6 and may be provided long in the front-rear direction with respect to the seat part 2, and as shown in fig. 3 to 6, may have an upper open part 112 communicating with the inner receiving part 111.
Further, as shown in fig. 6, the arm support storage case 110 may include one or more partition walls 113 for partitioning the internal space 111 as the internal space thereof, and accordingly, the writing instrument or other articles may be stored while being partitioned by the one or more partition walls 113, so that the internal storage section 111 supporting the arm support storage case 110 may be used more effectively.
The arm support cover 120 is a component for supporting not only the arm of the user but also the upper open portion 112 of the arm support storage case 110. As shown in fig. 3 and 5, the arm support cover 120 may be rotatably provided in the arm support accommodation case 110.
Accordingly, since the above-described components are provided, the user can support the arm by using the arm support cover 120, and at the same time, by opening the arm support cover 120, it is possible to accommodate articles such as writing tools in the inner accommodating portion 111 through the upper open portion 112 of the arm support accommodating case 110. That is, the armrest 100 for a chair according to the present invention can accommodate articles such as writing instruments at a position closest to the user's hand, so that the accommodated articles can be used quickly and conveniently, and a separate writing instrument holder or writing instrument barrel does not need to be disposed at a narrow desk, thereby effectively utilizing the space on the desk.
In addition, as shown in fig. 2 to 7, the armrest 100 for a chair according to an embodiment of the present invention further includes a buffer member 130 provided on the arm cover 120. Accordingly, when the user puts the arm on the support arm cover 120, a sufficient cushion feeling can be provided.
In addition, as shown in fig. 2, 3, and 5 to 7, the armrest 100 for a chair according to an embodiment of the present invention may further include a cup holder 140. The cup holder 140 is a component for placing a cup. As shown in fig. 6 and 7, the cup holder 140 may be disposed between the upper end of the support part 6 and the arm supporting receptacle 110.
Accordingly, a cup (not shown) can be placed on the armrest 100 for a chair of the present invention closest to the user's hand by the cup holder 140, so that not only the cup placed can be used quickly and easily, but also it is not necessary to place the cup on a narrow table, thereby making effective use of the space on the desk.
For example, as shown in fig. 6 and 7, the cup holder 140 may include a holder main body 141 and one or more cup placing holes 142. The cup holder body 141 may have a plate shape, and the cup placing hole 142 may be formed in the cup holder body 141, and the cup may be placed in a form in which the cup is received.
Further, as shown in fig. 2, 3 and 6, the cup holder main body 141 may have the same size and the same shape as the bottom surface of the arm support accommodation box 110.
In addition, as shown in fig. 6 and 7, the armrest 100 for a chair according to an embodiment of the present invention may further include a box rotating part 150. As shown in fig. 6 and 7, the cartridge rotating part 150 can rotatably dispose the cup holder 140 in order to cover or expose the cup holder 140 to the outside by supporting the arm accommodating cartridge 110.
Accordingly, the cup holder 140 can be covered or exposed to the outside by rotatably supporting the arm accommodation box 110 by the box rotating part 150 (see fig. 7), so that the space occupied by the armrest 100 for a chair of the present invention can be effectively utilized by locating the cup holder 140 under the arm accommodation box 110 for supporting (see fig. 2) when the use of the cup holder 140 is not required.
For example, as shown in fig. 6 and 7, the cartridge rotating part 150 may include a vertical hinge shaft 151 and a vertical hinge hole 152. Wherein the vertical hinge shaft 151 may be provided on the cup holder main body 141 and perpendicular to the upper surface of the cup holder main body 141, and the vertical hinge hole 152 is provided in the arm support receiving box 110 and may be rotatably inserted into the vertical hinge shaft 151. Of course, although not shown, the vertical hinge shaft may be provided in the accommodating box for support, and the vertical hinge hole may be provided on the cup holder.

The cover rotating part 160 may be provided to support the arm cover 120 to be rotatable to support the arm accommodating case 110. The opening elastic body 170 may be provided on the cover rotating part 160, and may apply elastic force in a direction in which the arm cover 120 is supported to be opened. The cover locking portion 180 may be disposed between the arm support accommodation box 110 and the arm support cover 120, and the arm support cover 120 may be in a closed state or an open state with respect to the upper open portion 112.
Accordingly, the arm cover 120 supported only by operating the cover locking part 180 can be automatically opened by the elastic force of the elastic body 170 for opening, and the arm cover 120 is not lost. When the user applies an opposite force, the support arm cover 120 may be automatically locked by the cover locking part 180.
For example, as shown in fig. 4, the cover locking portion 180 may include a locking member 181, a pinion gear (pinion)182, a first rack gear (first rack)183, a second rack gear (second rack)184, and a locking elastic body 185. The locking member 181 is provided to protrude from the bottom of the arm cover 120 and may have a locking hole 181 a. The pinion gear 182 may be rotatably provided in the arm supporting accommodation case 110, and the first rack gear 183 is engaged with the pinion gear 182 and corresponds to the locking hole 181a, and may have an insertion end 183 a. The second rack 184 is engaged with the pinion 182 and moves in the opposite direction to the first rack 183, and may have a pressing end 184a exposed to the outside of the accommodation box 110. The locking elastic body 185 may be disposed between the pinion gear 182 and the arm supporting accommodation box 110, and may apply a rotational force in a direction in which the insertion end 183a of the first rack gear 183 is inserted into the locking hole 181 a. Further, as shown in fig. 4, the upper face of the insertion end 183a may have a shape gradually inclined downward in the insertion direction of the insertion end 183 a.

Of course, although not shown, as another example, the cover locking portion may include: a locking member provided on a bottom surface of the arm cover and having a locking hole; a hook rotatably provided in the accommodation box for supporting an arm and corresponding to the locking hole; and a mechanism including a lock elastic body that applies a rotational force in a direction in which the hook is inserted into the locking hole.
