The invention relates to an alarm monitoring system and method of an intelligent cabinet, wherein the alarm monitoring system comprises a weight detection system, a cloud server and a weight monitoring system, wherein the weight detection system is used for monitoring weight information of each storage position in the intelligent cabinet and submitting a result to the cloud server; the door state checking system monitors the corresponding door state information of each storage position in the intelligent cabinet and submits the result to the cloud server; the heartbeat monitoring system monitors whether the intelligent cabinet is offline or not and submits a result to the cloud server; and the cloud server is respectively in communication connection with the weight detection system, the door state inspection system and the heartbeat monitoring system and receives data results from the weight detection system, the door state inspection system and the heartbeat monitoring system, and if the data are abnormal, warning information is prompted to an administrator. The alarm monitoring system and method of the intelligent cabinet can monitor in real time, and improve management efficiency and user experience.
