Background

In an embodiment, please refer to fig. 1 and fig. 2, in which fig. 1 shows a first structural diagram of a flexible display panel provided in an embodiment of the present invention, and fig. 2 shows a second structural diagram of the flexible display panel provided in the embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 1 and 2, a flexible display panel 10 according to an embodiment of the present invention includes:
a display film layer 11;
a protective layer 12 disposed on an outermost layer of the flexible display panel 10 for protecting the flexible display panel 10;
and an adhesive layer 13 which is provided between the protective layer 12 and the display film layer 11 and is adhered to the protective layer 12, wherein the adhesive layer 13 is changed from the first state to the second state by reprocessing, and the viscosity of the adhesive layer 13 in the second state is smaller than the viscosity of the adhesive layer 13 in the first state.
According to the embodiment of the invention, the bonding layer is bonded on one side of the protective layer in the flexible display panel, which is close to the display film layer, and the property that the bonding layer can be converted from a first state with higher viscosity to a second state with lower viscosity through reprocessing is utilized, when the protective layer of the flexible display panel is damaged, the flexible display panel is reprocessed, and the viscosity of the bonding layer is reduced, so that the protective layer and the bonding layer are easy to tear off from the flexible display panel, the display film layer in the flexible display panel is not damaged, the repair rate of the flexible display panel is improved, and the repair cost of the flexible display panel is reduced.
Specifically, in an embodiment, as shown in fig. 1, the display panel 10 provided in this embodiment includes a display film layer 11, a connection layer 15, a flexible cover substrate 14, an adhesive layer 13, and a protective layer 12, which are sequentially stacked.
The display film layer 11 is a functional film layer used by the flexible display panel 10 for displaying, and includes but is not limited to various film layer structures of the array substrate and various functional structures of the light emitting display layer. Reference may be made specifically to display film layers of flexible display panels known to those skilled in the art, and such reference is not intended to be limiting nor overly descriptive.
And a flexible cover substrate 14 disposed outside the display film layer 11. The flexible cover substrate 14 is usually a transparent organic thin film structure, and the material of the flexible cover substrate 14 includes organic materials such as polyethylene terephthalate and transparent polyimide, which have good stability and flexible mechanical properties, and can well meet the requirements of the flexible display panel 10 on bending and folding and optics. The thickness of the flexible cover substrate 14 is typically in the range of 30-70 microns.
And the protective layer 12 is arranged on one side of the flexible cover substrate 14 far away from the display film layer 11 and is used for protecting the flexible cover substrate 14 and the display film layer 11. Although the flexible cover substrate 14 has good flexibility, the flexible cover substrate 14 is merely used as a protective cover for the display panel, and the rigidity and strength are far from sufficient. Therefore, the protective layer 12 is provided on the outer side of the flexible cover substrate 14, on one hand, the protective layer 12 is used for isolating external water, oxygen, impurity particles, and the like from entering the flexible display panel 10 and protecting the flexible display panel 10 from chemical erosion, and on the other hand, the protective layer 12 protects the flexible display panel 10 from external force damage while not affecting the bending performance of the flexible display panel 10 by using its high hardness and good mechanical strength such as impact resistance. The protective layer 12 may be an inorganic transparent substrate such as glass, or an organic or inorganic composite hard substrate made of a polymer material having good impact resistance and light transmittance, and the composite material includes, but is not limited to, polyimide, polymethyl methacrylate, polycarbonate, cyclic olefin polymer, polyethylene terephthalate, polycarbonate, polyaramide, silicon oxide, silicon nitride, fluoropolymer, and the like. The thickness of the protective layer 12 is smaller than that of the flexible cover substrate 14, the thickness of the protective layer 12 is typically in the range of 3-40 μm, and the specific thickness can be designed according to the material and thickness of the flexible cover substrate 14 and the material of the protective layer 12.
And an adhesive layer 13 provided between the protective layer 12 and the flexible cover substrate 14, wherein the protective layer 12 is adhered to an upper surface of the adhesive layer 13, and the flexible cover substrate 14 is adhered to a lower surface of the adhesive layer 13, as shown in fig. 1.
When the flexible display panel 10 is in a normal use state, the adhesive layer 13 is in the first state, and the adhesive layer 13 is used for adhering the protective layer 12 and the flexible cover substrate 14, which is required to have good adhesion performance, and at the same time, the mechanical performance and the bending performance of the flexible display panel 10 cannot be affected. In the first state, the peel force of the adhesive layer 13 ranges from 1200-3000 grams-force per foot, and the modulus of the adhesive layer 13 ranges from 10 kpa to 100 kpa. The thickness of the adhesive layer 13 is smaller than that of the protective layer 12, the total thickness of the adhesive layer 13 and the protective layer 12 is smaller than that of the flexible cover substrate 14, the thickness of the adhesive layer 13 is smaller than 30 micrometers, and the specific thickness of the adhesive layer 13 can be designed according to the material and the thickness of the protective layer 12 and the material of the adhesive layer 13.
When the protective layer 12 of the flexible display panel 10 is damaged, the flexible display panel 10 is reprocessed, the adhesive layer 13 is changed from the first state to the second state, and after the reprocessing, the viscosity of the adhesive layer 13 is reduced, so that the adhesive force between the adhesive layer 13 and the flexible cover substrate 14 is reduced, and the protective layer 12 and the adhesive layer 13 can be conveniently removed from the flexible cover substrate 14. In the second state, the peel force of the adhesive layer 13 is less than or equal to 300 grams force per foot. The material of the bonding layer 13 can be acrylate photosensitive resin, and the corresponding reprocessing mode is ultraviolet irradiation; the material of the bonding layer 13 can be thermal resin, and the corresponding retreatment mode is heating treatment; the material of the bonding layer 13 can be cold-sensitive resin, and the corresponding retreatment mode is cooling treatment; the material of the adhesive layer 13 may also be other optical glue materials whose viscosity can be reduced by corresponding reprocessing.
And a connection layer 15 disposed between the flexible cover substrate 14 and the display film layer 11 for connecting the flexible cover substrate 14 and the display film layer 11, as shown in fig. 1, an upper surface of the connection layer 15 is connected to the flexible cover substrate 14, and a lower surface of the connection layer 15 is connected to the display film layer 11. The connection layer 15 is an optical glue layer having good adhesive properties. When the flexible display panel 10 is in a normal use state, the connection layer 15 is in a third state; when the protective layer 12 of the flexible display panel 10 is damaged and the flexible display panel 10 is reprocessed, the connection layer 15 continues to maintain the third state.
In the embodiment, the bonding layer is arranged between the hard protective layer and the flexible cover plate substrate, and the characteristic that the bonding performance of the bonding layer is weakened after treatment is utilized, when the protective layer of the flexible display panel is damaged, the flexible display panel is correspondingly retreated, so that the viscosity between the bonding layer in the flexible display panel and the flexible cover plate substrate is reduced, the protective layer and the bonding layer are easy to tear off from the flexible cover plate substrate, the display film layer in the flexible display panel is not damaged, the repair rate of the flexible display panel is improved, and the repair cost of the flexible display panel is reduced; meanwhile, the flexible cover plate substrate is reserved to be recycled, and the repair cost of the flexible display panel is further reduced.
In another embodiment, as shown in fig. 2, the display panel 10 provided in this embodiment includes a display film layer 11, an adhesive layer 13, and a protective layer 12, which are stacked.
The protective layer 12 is a composite film structure, and is specifically formed by coating a material with a thickness of several tens of micrometers and strong mechanical properties on both sides of a plastic film such as polyethylene terephthalate, polyimide and the like, so that the protective layer of the composite film structure has good heat resistance and mechanical properties.
The adhesive layer 13 is similar to the adhesive layer 13 in the flexible display panel 10 shown in fig. 1, and has various properties and advantages similar to those of the adhesive layer 13 in the foregoing embodiment, and specific reference is made to the foregoing embodiment, which is not repeated herein.

4. The flexible display panel of claim 1, wherein the adhesive layer has a thickness less than a thickness of the protective layer.
5. The flexible display panel of claim 4, wherein the adhesive layer has a thickness of less than 30 microns.
6. The flexible display panel of claim 1, wherein the reprocessing includes any one of ultraviolet irradiation, thermal treatment, or cooling treatment.
7. The flexible display panel according to claim 1, wherein a material of the adhesive layer comprises an acrylate based photosensitive resin or a temperature sensitive resin.
8. The flexible display panel of claim 1, wherein the display panel further comprises a flexible cover substrate disposed between the adhesive layer and the display film layer.
9. The flexible display panel of claim 8, wherein a total thickness of the adhesive layer and the protective layer is less than a thickness of the flexible cover substrate.
10. The flexible display panel of claim 8, wherein the flexible display panel further comprises a connection layer disposed between the flexible cover substrate and the display film layer, the connection layer remaining in a third state through the reprocessing.
