Abstract
The invention discloses a method for quickly replacing a mold of a foam molding machine, which is characterized by comprising the following steps of: (1) disassembling a thimble, a feeding pipe and a material gun PU pipe on the mould; (2) removing the fixed moving die screw and the fixed horse screw, and installing a die connecting screw; (3) detecting and matching with the mold opening by program software, and separating the steam chamber from the mold; (4) removing the moving horseback screw, and hooking the mould by the electric hoist to lift the mould away from the equipment; (5) the electric hoist hooks the new die to hoist the new die into the equipment up and down and is fixed in the male die frame positioning groove; (6) mounting a shifting horseback screw, and taking down the electric hoist hook; (7) detecting and matching the mold closing to a fixed position by program software, and adjusting the position of the reinforcing plate; (8) locking a fixing clip screw after the mold closing is finished, and detaching a mold connecting screw; (9) and a die opening lock is provided with a fixed die moving screw, and a thimble, a feeding pipe and a material gun PU pipe on the die are installed. Background
At present, the foam plastic forming machines on the market are all formed by filling raw materials into a mould and then carrying out steam forming, so that different sets of moulds are required to be changed when different products are manufactured on the same forming machine. The method for replacing the mold is generally that the clamping module and the pipeline of the steam chamber are firstly removed, and then the whole steam chamber and the mold are lifted up and down away from the equipment by a crane (an electric hoist). The new mold and vapor chamber are then returned to the apparatus by the step of pouring back. The set of process not only wastes time but also wastes labor, and half a day of time is usually consumed for changing one set of mould.

Compared with the prior art, the invention has the following advantages:
1. the invention can save the time for dismantling various pipelines and clamping modules which are connected with the steam chamber without replacing the steam chamber;
2. the mould is only required to be hoisted during hoisting, and a huge and heavy steam chamber is not used, so that the hoisting and the transportation are more convenient and safer;
3. the set of moulds with the same size can share the steam chamber, so that the cost of purchasing more steam chambers is reduced;
4. the quick die change without replacing the steam chamber developed by the invention is realized by the mutual matching of the brand new designed program software and the steam chamber. The greatest advantage of quick die change without changing a steam chamber is that the die change time is saved, the die change is safe, and compared with the traditional die change, the most troublesome and dangerous steps are directly saved.
