The invention provides a height adjusting system for a supporting leg of a child seat, which comprises a height adjusting mechanism for the supporting leg, wherein the height adjusting mechanism for the supporting leg comprises a guide rail, the supporting leg, a worm gear, a worm and a driving piece; the supporting legs are arranged in the T-shaped sliding grooves in a sliding mode, bearing seats are vertically arranged at the upper ends and the lower ends of the supporting legs, and two ends of the worm are respectively in rotary connection with the two bearing seats through bearings; the worm wheel is meshed with the worm, and the driving piece is used for driving the worm wheel to rotate. The invention can realize the stepless adjustment of the supporting legs, and better avoid the problem that the supporting legs are suspended or the base of the child seat is not attached to the rear seat, so that the child is better protected; meanwhile, the height of the supporting leg can be adjusted in a time-saving and labor-saving manner.
