本公开是关于定位参考信号配置方法及装置、用户设备、存储介质。定位参考信号配置方法包括:网络设备确定用于用户设备UE定位的小区特定定位参考信号PRS配置未满足所述UE的定位需求时,为所述UE确定UE特定PRS配置,发送所确定的UE特定PRS配置。本公开实施例根据不同用户设备对PRS的配置要求不同,为定位要求高的用户设备配置UE特定PRS配置,使这部分UE能够根据UE特定的PRS配置,向网络侧发送UE特定的PRS,以便网络侧基于UE特定的PRS,对UE实现更精确的定位。本公开实施例为不同的定位需求的UE提供差异化的PRS配置,UE根据自身需求监听小区特定PRS配置或UE特定PRS配置,从而满足了UE的不同定位需求。
