Description
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a column shoe for fastening a reinforced concrete column to a foundation as defined in the preamble of independent claim 1.
Background
Publication US 7,726,091 proposes a support shoe for a concrete column, which has a base plate and two lateral plates arranged at the lateral edges of the base plate and projecting upwards at right angles from the base plate. At least one reinforcement bar is connected to the support shoe for introducing forces into the concrete column. The two lateral edges are arranged at an acute angle with respect to each other and thus the lateral plates connected to the lateral edges are also arranged at an acute angle with respect to each other, wherein the two lateral plates form separate parts connected to the base plate.
Disclosure of Invention
Objects of the invention
The object of the invention is to provide a column shoe which has both good stiffness and can be made with a small cross section, so that the column shoe can also be used for reinforced concrete columns with a small cross section.
Short description
The boot of the invention is characterized by the definitions of independent claim 1.
Preferred embodiments of the boot are defined in the dependent claims.
Drawings
The boot will be described in more detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which
Figure 1 shows one embodiment of a boot,
figure 2 shows the boot shown in figure 1 from another angle,
figure 3 shows the boot shown in figure 1 from another angle,
fig. 4 shows the column shoe shown in fig. 1 from below, and
fig. 5 shows the boot shown in fig. 1 from above.
Detailed Description
In the following, some embodiments and variants of the column shoe and the column shoe for fastening a reinforced concrete column to a base will be described in more detail.
The column shoe comprises a base plate 1 with bolt openings 2. The boot further comprises a side wall member 3, which side wall member 3 is fastened to the bottom plate 1 for providing a bolt housing 4 for the bottom plate 1 and the side wall member 3. When casting the column shoe into a reinforced concrete column and fastening the same to the base by means of the column shoe, a threaded rod or the like protruding from the base penetrates the bottom plate 1 in the bolt hole 2 and a nut is screwed to the threaded rod to fix the column shoe to the threaded rod.
The column shoe further comprises a main joint 5, which main joint 5 is fastened to the side wall element 3 for fastening the column shoe and the reinforced concrete column to each other.
The boot further comprises a back binding means 6.
In the boot, the side plate member 3 is a unitary structure including two side plate sections 7 and a connecting section 8 connecting the two side plate sections.
The column shoe is symmetrical about an imaginary vertical centre plane a of the bolt housing 4.
In the boot, the angle α between the side plate sections 7 is between about 40 ° and about 60 °, preferably between about 45 ° and about 50 °, such as about 48 °.
In the boot, the back binding means 6 comprise back anchors 9, which back anchors 9 are fastened to back surfaces 12 of each side plate section 7 facing away from each other. Each back anchor 9 has a fastening section 10 and a vertical section 11 extending parallel to the main junction 5, by means of which fastening section 10 the back anchor 9 is fastened by welding along the fastening section 10 to said back surface 12 of the side plate section. The back binding means 6 are dimensioned in the following way and the back binding means 6 are fastened to said back surface 12 of the side plate section in the following way: so that the vertical sections 11 of the respective back anchors 9 are arranged at a distance from each other.
Due to the arrangement of the back anchors 9 firmly fastened to said back surfaces 12 of the side plate sections by welding along the fastening sections 10, the back binding means 6 will be firmly fastened to the side plate sections 7. The narrow angle a between the side plate sections 7 enables the use of two separate anchors. Due to the angle a between the side plate sections 7 the cross section of the column shoe is small, which makes it easy to mount e.g. 4 column shoes, one in each corner, to a column with a small cross section. Due to the narrow angle α between the side plate sections 7, the cross section of the boot is small, which results in a saving of material for the boot, which in turn results in a reduced material cost and a reduced weight of the boot, which in turn makes the boot easy to handle. The narrow angle α between the side plate sections 7 also results in an increased stiffness of the bolt housing 4 of the column shoe. This has the advantage that the side panel members 3 can be made of a thinner material to achieve the required rigidity. Due to the provision of the back binding device 6 comprising two separate back anchors 9, the arrangement of the column shoe relative to the reinforcement structure of the reinforced concrete column is easy when the reinforced concrete column is manufactured by casting. The space required for using two separate back anchors 9 is also less than using a single back anchor and this makes it possible to make the shoe smaller, which in turn makes it possible to make the cross section of the column in which the shoe is to be used smaller. The use of two separate back anchors 9 in the boot will distribute the force more evenly to the column using the boot than a boot provided with a single back anchor.
Preferably, but not necessarily, the back anchors 9 are identical and arranged symmetrically with respect to an imaginary vertical center plane a of the bolt housing 4.
Preferably, but not necessarily, the main joint 5 comprises two main joints 5, so that one main joint 5 is fastened to the inner surface 13 of each side plate section 7 facing each other.
Preferably, but not necessarily, the main junctions 5 are identical and arranged symmetrically with respect to an imaginary vertical central plane a of the bolt housing 4.
Preferably, but not necessarily, the fastening section 10 of each back anchor 9 extends perpendicularly with respect to the vertical section 11 of the back anchor 9.
Preferably, but not necessarily, the bolt openings 2 in the bottom plate 1 are arranged symmetrically with respect to an imaginary vertical center plane a of the bolt housing 4.
In the side plate member 3, the connecting section 8 is preferably, but not necessarily, curved as shown in the drawings, and the two side plate sections 7 are preferably, but not necessarily, flat as shown in the drawings. The flat side plate sections 7 facilitate fastening of the back anchors 9 by welding to the side plate sections 7 and enable a more secure connection between the side plate sections 7 and the back anchors 9, since the welded joint between the side plate sections 7 and the back anchors 9 can be linear. The provision of a curved connecting section 8 enables the side panel member 3 to be more rigid.
As shown in the figures, preferably, but not necessarily, the fastening section 10 of each back anchor 9 extends parallel to the bottom plate 1.
As shown in the figures, preferably, but not necessarily, the imaginary vertical central plane a of the bolt housing 4 is not penetrated by any of the back anchors 9. This makes the column easy to manufacture and makes it easy to install the shoe in a mould for casting the column.
As shown in the drawings, each back anchor 9 is preferably, but not necessarily, arranged spaced apart from an imaginary vertical central plane a of the bolt housing 4. This makes the column easy to manufacture and makes it easy to install the shoe in a mould for casting the column.
It is obvious to a person skilled in the art that with the advancement of technology, the basic idea of the invention may be implemented in various ways. The invention and its embodiments are thus not limited to the examples described above, but may vary within the scope of the claims.
