Detailed Description
The invention is described in further detail below with reference to the drawings and examples. It is to be understood that the specific embodiments described herein are merely illustrative of the invention and are not limiting thereof. It should be further noted that, for convenience of description, only some, but not all of the structures related to the present invention are shown in the drawings.
In the OLED display panel industry, mura (uneven display) is one of the defects that is extremely difficult to detect, and is mainly characterized by uneven local brightness display, and has the characteristics of unfixed distribution and unfixed shape, so that the display effect of the display panel is affected, and the display panel needs to detect display uniformity before leaving the factory. The current detection mode of the display uniformity of the OLED display panel has the problems of low detection efficiency and incapability of quantification. The display uniformity of the display panel is judged and identified mainly through uniformly trained identification personnel. However, the problem of large subjective difference is judged by human eyes, the visual effect of personnel is poor along with the decline of the attention of the personnel, the problem of large fluctuation of the identification capacity is also solved, the accuracy of the display uniformity detection of the display panel is reduced, even the condition of missed detection occurs, and the quantification of the detection result cannot be realized. Secondly, the OLED has extremely high environmental control requirements, and mura observation is in a semi-exposed state, so that the improvement of the yield of the OLED display panel is not facilitated. In addition, because the process stations (50+ processes) in the preparation process of the display panel are all observed by personnel after each station, the life cycle of the product is influenced.
In view of this, an embodiment of the present invention provides a method for detecting display uniformity of a display panel, and fig. 1 is a flowchart of a method for detecting display uniformity of a display panel provided by an embodiment of the present invention, and referring to fig. 1, the method for detecting display uniformity includes:
s110, collecting first optical data of reflected light reflected by the surface of the display panel after the film layer to be tested of the display panel is manufactured.
Specifically, a digital image capturing device (such as a CCD) may be used to obtain the first optical data. In the manufacturing process of the display panel, the process variation may cause defects in the film layer of the display panel, the abnormal film quality may cause the optical characteristics of the film layer to change, and the display unevenness of the display panel may cause abnormal film quality change of the display panel. The first optical data of the reflected light reflected by the surface of the display panel after the manufacture of the film layer to be tested of the display panel is completed can be collected, and the first optical data are identified through the change of the optical parameters of the film quality, so that the whole mura difference of the display panel is fed back. The first optical data reflects black-and-white image data of the display panel after the film layer to be measured is manufactured. The film layer to be tested can be any film layer in the driving circuit layer in the display panel, and the change of the film layer in the driving circuit layer has a large influence on the display uniformity of the display panel. Therefore, by collecting the first optical data of the reflected light reflected by the surface of the display panel after the manufacture of one film layer in the driving circuit layer of the display panel is completed, the display unevenness of the display panel can be more effectively monitored.
S120, determining gray-scale data of the corresponding position of each sub-pixel in the display panel according to the first optical data.
Specifically, gray scale data of the entire surface of the display panel can be determined according to the first optical data. The first optical data has a one-to-one correspondence with the reflection positions of the display panel, so that the gray scale data of the corresponding position of each sub-pixel in the display panel can be determined. Fig. 2 is a schematic diagram of a gray scale coordinate model of a to-be-detected area in a display panel according to an embodiment of the present invention, and referring to fig. 2, a gray scale coordinate model corresponding to gray scale data and position coordinates one by one may be fitted by a program, so as to facilitate visual detection of distribution of gray scale data of sub-pixels of the to-be-detected display panel by a detector. The x-axis and the y-axis determine the position of the sub-pixel, and the data on the z-axis perpendicular to the x-axis and the y-axis represents the gray scale data of the sub-pixel. For example, a programming language such as JAVA or python and a built-in image processing program can be used to combine, position coordinates and gray-scale data collected by the CCD are extracted, a mapping 3D relationship between the position coordinates and gray-scale values is determined according to the gray-scale data and the position coordinates corresponding to the gray-scale data one by one, and then a gray-scale coordinate model of the display panel to be tested is fitted. The noise data in the first optical data can be removed before the gray-scale data of the corresponding position of each sub-pixel in the display panel is determined according to the first optical data, so that the accuracy of the gray-scale data is further ensured.
S130, determining display uniformity of the display panel according to gray-scale data of a corresponding position of each sub-pixel in the display panel and first standard gray-scale data of the standard display panel.
Specifically, the standard display panel can be understood as a display panel with uniform display, the first standard gray-scale data can be determined according to standard optical data of the standard display panel, and the standard light data is optical data of reflected light reflected by the surface of the standard display panel after the preparation of the same film layer as the film layer to be tested of the display panel to be tested in the standard display panel is completed. The determined first standard gray-scale data can be stored in a database so as to be called when the display panel to be tested is tested, and therefore the testing time for determining the display uniformity of the display panel to be tested according to the gray-scale data of the corresponding position of each sub-pixel in the display panel to be tested and the first standard gray-scale data of the standard display panel is shortened. Fig. 3 is a schematic diagram of a gray scale coordinate model of a standard display panel according to an embodiment of the present invention, and referring to fig. 3, a gray scale coordinate model corresponding to gray scale data and position coordinates of the standard display panel one by one may be fitted by using a program, so as to realize visualization of gray scale data distribution conditions of sub-pixels of the standard display panel.
The method for detecting the display uniformity of the display panel provided by the embodiment of the invention comprises the following steps: collecting first optical data of reflected light reflected by the surface of the display panel after the film layer to be tested of the display panel is manufactured; determining gray scale data of a corresponding position of each sub-pixel in the display panel according to the first optical data; and determining the display uniformity of the display panel according to the gray-scale data of the corresponding position of each sub-pixel in the display panel and the first standard gray-scale data of the standard display panel. According to the technical scheme provided by the embodiment of the invention, the optical data of the light reflected by the display panel is acquired after the film layer to be tested of the display panel is manufactured, the quantifiable, high-repeatability and high-accuracy gray scale data are obtained, the gray scale distribution of the front surface of the display panel is calculated through the extracted gray scale values to macroscopically monitor the film quality change, and then the display uniformity change is fed back, so that the quantitative detection of the display uniformity of the display panel is realized, and the detection efficiency of the display uniformity of the display panel is improved.
Optionally, the first optical data of the reflected light reflected by the surface of the display panel after the film layer to be tested of the display panel is manufactured can be collected by an automatic optical detection (Automatic Optic Inspection, AOI) technology, and the optical data generated by the CCD in the AOI inspection procedure can be extracted by an image processing technology for introduction, so that the gray-scale data with high quantification, high repeatability and high accuracy can be obtained. The whole data of full base plate scanning cover product when AOI technique detects to AOI detects the chamber environment dust-free level and high, can guarantee the yield of product. In addition, the AOI is used as an indispensable detection procedure in the AMOLED process, so that the detection of the display uniformity of the display panel is combined with the AOI process, new manpower and equipment are not needed, and the manpower cost and the equipment cost are saved.

Specifically, fig. 5 is a distribution diagram of a to-be-detected area in a display panel according to an embodiment of the present invention, and referring to fig. 5, the display panel is divided into at least two to-be-detected areas, and each to-be-detected area needs to be detected for display uniformity, and 8 to-be-detected areas are exemplarily shown in fig. 5. And determining first gray scale distribution data to be detected of each region to be detected of the display panel according to the gray scale data of the corresponding position of each sub-pixel in the display panel. The first gray scale distribution data to be detected may be a median, a mode, a quartile or a variance determined according to the first gray scale data to be detected at a position corresponding to each sub-pixel in the area to be detected, which may integrally reflect statistical parameters of the gray scale distribution condition in the area to be detected.
S240, determining first standard gray scale distribution data of an area corresponding to the to-be-detected area of the standard display panel according to the first standard gray scale data.
Specifically, the first standard gray-scale distribution data may be standard judgment data determined according to the first standard gray-scale data, where the standard judgment data is used for judging whether parameters such as a median, a mode, a quartile or a variance of the first gray-scale data to be detected in the area to be detected are compliant. The first standard gray scale distribution data may be a reference value or a reference range.
S250, determining display uniformity of the region to be detected according to the first gray scale distribution data to be detected and the first standard gray scale distribution data.
Specifically, the difference between the gray-scale distribution condition of the to-be-detected area in the to-be-detected display panel and the gray-scale distribution condition of the area corresponding to the to-be-detected area in the standard display panel is determined according to the difference or the ratio of the first to-be-detected gray-scale distribution data and the first standard gray-scale distribution data, and the judgment on the gray-scale distribution condition of the to-be-detected area of the to-be-detected display panel is realized according to the difference between the gray-scale distribution condition of the to-be-detected display panel and the gray-scale distribution condition of the standard display panel, so that the display uniformity of the to-be-detected area is determined.

Specifically, determining the display uniformity of the display panel according to the display uniformity of each region to be detected may include: determining the number of the to-be-detected areas which are unevenly displayed in the display panel; and judging the display uniformity of the display panel according to the number of the to-be-detected areas which are unevenly displayed in the display panel. The display uniformity may be divided into a plurality of levels, and the level of the display uniformity may be judged according to the number of the areas to be detected that are not uniformly displayed in the display panel. When the grade of the display uniformity does not meet the factory requirement of the product, the grade can be sent to staff for analysis and treatment through mails; if the gray-scale data is normal, continuing the next process flow of the preparation of the display panel.

Specifically, if two of the median, the number of digits and the quartile do not meet the corresponding standard range, determining the to-be-detected area as the to-be-verified detection area, and continuing to judge the display uniformity of the to-be-verified detection area.
Optionally, determining the display uniformity of the detection area to be verified includes:

Specifically, the second to-be-detected gray-scale data of the corresponding position of each sub-pixel in the to-be-detected detection area is determined according to the third optical data reflecting the actual color of the to-be-detected film layer, and the second to-be-detected gray-scale distribution data can be statistical parameters which can integrally reflect the gray-scale distribution condition in the to-be-detected area, such as the median, the mode, the quartile and the like, determined according to the second to-be-detected gray-scale data. The second standard gray-scale distribution data may be standard judgment data set according to the second standard gray-scale data, where the standard judgment data is used for judging whether parameters such as a median, a mode, a quartile and the like of the second gray-scale data to be detected in the region to be detected are compliant.
