Description

Device for lightly closing oven door
Technical Field
The invention relates to a device for lightly closing the door of an oven, in particular to a cabinet oven for large-scale bakeries, bakeries and branch shops thereof.
Background
In the prior art, cabinet ovens have long been known and have a plurality of baking chambers, usually one above the other. The roasting chambers have an opening through which the respective roasting chamber can be loaded, and the roasting chamber door is accordingly adapted to close the opening so that as little heat as possible can escape. The multiple baking chambers of the cabinet oven can be heated individually so that different baked goods can be baked in each baking chamber. Prior art DE 202017101687U 1 is known in the prior art, which discloses a cabinet oven with one or more stacked baking chambers. The toasting chamber is defined by an enclosure between the two side walls, the rear wall and the toasting chamber door, respectively. This prior art document discloses a supply system for supplying air to the respective roasting chamber through at least one side wall.
In prior art cabinet ovens, the doors of several baking chambers are usually opened in a time-delayed manner or as simultaneously as possible in order to load the baking material into the baking chamber or to remove it. In the prior art, since the doors are mounted on horizontal shafts and hit the walls of the oven when they are closed, the problem often arises that they cause a knocking sound when they are closed. Such noise can be very unpleasant for the operator and, moreover, generates shocks or vibrations in the oven, which on the one hand can cause the baked goods to slip, but on the other hand can damage the components of the oven, such as sensitive electronic components.
Disclosure of Invention
The object of the present invention is to provide a closing device for closing the baking chamber of an oven, which prevents the door from hitting the oven housing when closed and producing a correspondingly loud clicking sound. Furthermore, it is an object of the present invention to provide a closing device for an oven door with better operating characteristics and enhanced user friendliness.
To achieve the above object, in one aspect, the present application provides a closing apparatus for closing a baking chamber of an oven, comprising: a door leaf attached to a shaft and adapted to rotate with the shaft; at least two bearings adapted to rotatably support the shaft; and a rotation brake coupled to the shaft and adapted to allow unrestricted rotation of the shaft in one rotational direction and brake rotation of the shaft in an opposite rotational direction.
In another aspect, the present application also provides the use of a rotary brake for doors of ovens, preferably for doors of toasters in large bakeries, bakeries and branch shops.
The closing device according to the invention for closing a roasting chamber of an oven comprises a door leaf attached to a shaft and arranged to rotate with the shaft. Thus, when the shaft is rotated, the door leaf is also moved between the closed state and the open state. Furthermore, the closing device comprises two bearings adapted to rotatably support the shaft.
Furthermore, the closing device comprises a rotary brake connected to the shaft and adapted to allow unrestricted rotation of the shaft in one direction and to brake the rotary movement of the shaft in the opposite direction. Thus, the oven door can be opened in one direction (without increasing the force), but slowed in the other direction. Without a rotational brake, the door's own weight would create a strong torque that would accelerate the door leaf rotation with the shaft, causing the door leaf to strike the oven housing at high speed. However, the rotational brake slows this movement to a very low speed, for example by friction, so that the door closes gently and does not have any effect on the oven. The rotary brake is preferably stable at high temperatures.
Preferably, the shaft is further provided with an actuating lever adapted to cause rotational movement of the shaft. Such a lever makes it easier for a user to open and close the door. Due to the rotation of the brake, the door can automatically start to close by only tapping the operating rod in the direction of closing the door and move towards the oven at a low speed.
Further preferably, the translational or rotational movement of the actuating rod may be converted into a rotational movement of the shaft. Thus, depending on the requirements of the user, different actuation possibilities of the actuation lever may be selected, which may be converted into a rotational movement of the shaft and may thus result in the opening and closing of the oven door.
Preferably, the door leaf is adapted to close the oven chamber of the oven from the front, i.e. it is attached to the front of the oven.
Further preferably, in the closed state, the door leaf is adapted to abut against an edge of the opening of the roasting chamber and close the roasting chamber, the door leaf being vertically oriented in the closed state. In the open state, the door leaf is adapted to protrude into the opening of the roasting chamber, the door leaf then further preferably being horizontally aligned and displaceable upwards and/or downwards relative to the opening of the roasting chamber. This makes the opening of the roasting chamber accessible and the roasting chamber can be loaded with food without problems.
Further preferably, the shaft is arranged at the top or upper side of the chamber, such that the door horizontally protrudes into an opening at the top of the chamber when opened. The upward movement of the door leaf then causes the baking chamber to open, while the downward movement of the door leaf causes the baking chamber to be closed by the door.
This allows the door to be easily opened up and lowered down by rotating the stopper, and in addition such an arrangement also facilitates loading of the toasting chamber.
Further preferably, the rotational brake is attached to one of the bearings or to the housing of the oven. On the one hand, as mentioned above, the shaft is connected to the rotation brake, but the rotation brake also requires an accessory to exert its function.
Fastening to a bearing or oven housing is an ergonomic and space-saving solution.
Further preferably, the rotary brake is adapted to: the movement of the shaft in the direction of movement of the door leaf from the closed state to the open state is not braked, i.e. no frictional force is applied. The rotary brake serves to brake the movement of the shaft in the direction of movement of the door leaf from the open state to the closed state, i.e. to reduce the closing speed, preferably to keep the closing speed as constant as possible, so that the oven door closes smoothly.
Further preferably, the rotational brake is arranged such that the rotational movement of the shaft can be caused by the self-weight of the door leaf when the door leaf is moved from the open state to the closed state.
Preferably, the door panel is made of glass, further preferably it has a frame connected to the shaft. The glass door panel allows the user to view the oven interior, and the frame allows for a more stable structure and better locking possibilities.
Preferably, locking means are also provided on the shaft, which are intended to detachably fix the shaft in at least one, preferably two, rotational positions. This may be, for example, a recess in the shaft or the like, against which the locking element (e.g. a ball) is pressed by a spring.
This allows the door to be fixed or fixed in a horizontally open position when the toasting chamber is loaded or unloaded, so as not to interfere with the operator pushing food into or out of the toasting chamber.
Once the door is to be closed again, the locking device releases the movement of the shaft by merely tapping or slightly moving the operating lever. The door then moves downwardly under its own weight to a vertical position, but the movement of the shaft and door is then arrested by the rotary brake, so that the door moves slowly and does not strike the oven enclosure.
The use of a rotary brake for the toaster door, preferably a toaster for a large bakery, and affiliate thereof, has the advantage that the door can be closed gently without impact.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF EMBODIMENT (S) OF INVENTION
Fig. 1 shows a general view of a closing device 1 according to the invention. The door leaf 2 is here suspended on a shaft 3, whereby a rotation brake 5 is provided at one end of the shaft. An actuating lever 6 is arranged on the side facing away from the rotation brake 5, with which lever the shaft and thus the door leaf can be moved.
The door leaf 2 completely closes the baking chamber B behind it (not shown here).
Fig. 2 shows a side view of the closing device 1 according to the invention. The rotation brake 5 is mounted in a bearing 4a, the bearing 4a supporting the shaft 5. Actuating lever 6 is also connected to shaft 3 in a rotationally fixed manner.
Fig. 3 shows a detailed view of the rotation brake 5. Fig. 3 shows a front view. A square recess 52 is provided in the rotation brake for receiving a correspondingly shaped pin or shaft as a bushing for the adapter. The rotation brake 5 is also provided with two holes 51 through which the rotation brake 5 can be suitably fixed to the base.
Fig. 4 shows an isometric view of the rotation brake 5. All parts are here the same as in fig. 2. The part with the groove 52 is rotatably mounted inside the rotation stopper 5.
Fig. 5 shows a sectional view of the rotary brake 5. It is evident here that it consists of two rotationally symmetrical parts 5a and 5b, the first element 5a being in the form of a flat disc and the second element 5b being in the form of a slightly thicker cylindrical part. It can be seen that the recess 52, into which the shaft can be inserted, is connected to the second element 5b, but substantially passes through the elements 5a and 5 b. Furthermore, two holes 51 provided in the first element 5a are shown for fixing to the base.
Fig. 6 shows an exploded view of the locking device 1, wherein the door leaf 2 is in the open position here.
The door leaf 2 is thus in a horizontal position and extends into the baking chamber (not shown here).
The door leaf 2 is surrounded by a frame 7, the door leaf 2 and the frame 7 being connected to the shaft 3, respectively.
On one side, the shaft is supported by a bearing 4a, which here consists of two parts (the second bearing 4b is not shown here). On the right side of the bearing 4a, a rotation stopper 5 is provided, which is attached to the right side portion of the bearing 4 a. Since, as shown in fig. 2 above, the recess 52 of the rotation brake (not shown here) has an angular cross section, here too a bushing 8 is provided between the rotation brake and the shaft, which has a circular inner cross section but a square outer cross section, so that the bushing 8 can connect the shaft 3 and the rotation brake 5 to each other.
Fig. 7 again shows an exploded view of the locking device 1, this time in the closed position of the door. The door leaf 2 is here in a vertical position. All other components are the same as in fig. 6.
The present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments. For example, bearings may also be provided by the other bearings 4a, 4b, a design without a bushing 8 is also possible if the rotation brake 5 or its recess 52 has a circular cross section.
Also, the shaft 3 will have to be connected to the recess 52 in the portion 5b of the rotation brake 5 in a different way, for example by interference fit or screws or bolts.
Furthermore, different rotation brakes 5 can be used, it only being necessary to ensure that they can rotate in one direction without braking, but slow down in the respective other direction.
The door 2 may also protrude from the outside of the oven when opened, rather than into the oven chamber.
