in this example, the UE is in a dual connection state (i.e. is connected to the MCG and the SCG simultaneously), at this time, the MCG fails in a radio link, the UE initiates a MCG fast recovery procedure, after receiving the MCG Failure Information message, the network decides to send an RRC reconfiguration message (RRC reconfiguration message) containing synchronous reconfiguration to the UE according to the failure reason and the measurement result reported by the UE, where the reconfiguration message carries indication information for recovering the stored CPC or indication information for performing CPC evaluation, or the target cell broadcasts indication information to indicate that the UE does not release the stored indication information of the CPC and/or a preset timer, and then the UE automatically starts the evaluation of the CPC after performing the reconfiguration procedure (after completing random access or after sending the reconfiguration completion message successfully); if a timer is configured, the UE starts a preset timer after performing the reconfiguration process (after the random access is completed or after the reconfiguration completion message is successfully transmitted), and performs CPC assessment after the timer times out.

Therefore, the embodiment of the invention provides a switching scheme under the MCG failure recovery scene, which can solve the problem of how to treat CPC after the MCG fails in the radio link.

the User Equipment (UE) receives a reconfiguration message sent in the quick recovery process of the Master Cell Group (MCG) of the network side;
the UE starts a CPC evaluation process based on the content of the reconfiguration message;
the content of the reconfiguration message is one or a combination of the following contents:
the reconfiguration message carries the instruction information of recovering the stored CPC; or alternatively, the first and second heat exchangers may be,
The target cell broadcasting indication information indicates that the UE does not release the stored indication information of the CPC;
the open CPC assessment procedure includes:
the UE does not release the stored CPC, and starts CPC evaluation after reconfiguration is performed when new CPC configuration of the network side is received.
2. The method of claim 1, wherein the content of the reconfiguration message is further one or a combination of the following:

the target cell broadcasting indication information indicates that the UE does not release the stored indication information of the CPC;
