Detailed Description
Reference will now be made in detail to the exemplary embodiments, examples of which are illustrated in the accompanying drawings. When the following description refers to the accompanying drawings, like numbers in different drawings represent the same or similar elements unless otherwise indicated. The embodiments described in the following exemplary embodiments do not represent all embodiments consistent with the present invention. Rather, they are merely examples of apparatus and methods consistent with certain aspects of the invention, as detailed in the appended claims.
Currently, when a user wants to switch to another application when using a certain application, the following method can be adopted: double clicking the entity keys of the mobile phone based on the ios operating system; the mobile phone side long press/heavy press based on the ios operating system; the bottom of the full screen slides upwards and stops; a multitasking button mounted on the bottom; by the function of partially levitating the ball. These methods have advantages and disadvantages, for example, the screen becomes larger and the entity key is cancelled under the current trend, and the switching by the entity key cannot be realized; the position of the virtual floating ball baffle screen is not fixed, so that the use is inconvenient; the android bottom bar occupies area and the full screen can cancel the function; the mode of stopping sliding on the bottom is not easy to stop because the screen is large enough, and the stopping is also needed to cause some inconvenience in feeling.
For example, the mobile phone includes a screen fingerprint identification area, a finger presses the fingerprint identification area under the condition of not unlocking, and a plurality of application icons are displayed near the finger pressing area for selection while the mobile phone is unlocked, so that the aim of quick operation is fulfilled. The disadvantages of this solution are: the mobile phone must be unlocked through screen fingerprints; in addition, the method can only be used in an unlocking scenario.
The present disclosure proposes a method of switching applications, which is particularly applied to a terminal including a visual and touch-responsive side screen in addition to a front screen. The method comprises the following steps: receiving an application switching instruction of a user; displaying switchable application in a first set area of a terminal screen; determining an application selected by a user among the switchable applications; and displaying the selected application on a main interface of the terminal screen. By adopting the method, the user can quickly switch to different applications by responding to the input operation of the user on the touch screen at the side of the mobile phone, so that the user experience is improved. For example, the method of the present disclosure may also be applied to a folding screen, a curved screen, or a waterfall screen, such as disposing the first set area on a small screen of the folding screen or on a curved surface of the curved screen.
The terminal in the present disclosure may include a mobile phone, a PAD, a wearable device, and the like. Taking a mobile phone as an example, as shown in fig. 1, the mobile phone includes a screen and driving circuit 110, a touch sensing layer 120 covering the outside of the screen, a speaker 130, a vibration motor 140, a central processing unit 150, a battery and a power conversion circuit 160.
The mobile phone has a flexible screen. The flexible screen may be a screen that is extended laterally or the screen wraps the side that extends toward the back of the phone (which may partially or completely cover the sides of the phone), or a flexible screen in a folded form that requires that at least the side screen outside the front screen be visible and responsive to touch during use. The flexible screen is connected to the processor 150 and can display various contents and applications, and particularly, the applications can be displayed in the form of an application list.
The screen capacitive touch sensor layer 120 is also flexible and is connected to the processor 150 for receiving electrode change signals generated by user touch and converting the signals into information such as coordinates and intensity, which is then transmitted to the processor 150. The speaker 130 and the vibration motor 140 are connected to the processor 150 for outputting sound and vibration and giving feedback to the user of the sound and vibration while responding to the user's operation. The cpu 150 is configured to receive digital input signals converted from different types of touch modes from the touch sensor layer 120, and perform corresponding feedback according to the different digital input signals and the method, so that the screen displays corresponding contents, and the speaker and the motor vibrate.
Based on the structure, the mode of operating the side screen outside the application display area on the front side of the mobile phone screen is adopted, and the application is displayed in the side and front screen areas through various operations such as clicking, double-clicking, long-pressing, repeated pressing, sliding and the like, so that a user can quickly select and switch to a target application, and convenience is provided for the user to use.
Fig. 2 is a flowchart illustrating an interaction method of an application, which is applied to a terminal, according to an exemplary embodiment, and as shown in fig. 2, the method includes the following steps:
step 201, receiving a specified interactive instruction of a user;
step 202, displaying switchable application in a first setting area of a terminal screen;
step 203, determining a target application selected by the user in the switchable applications;
and 204, displaying the target application in a main screen area of the terminal screen.
In step 201, the terminal receives a specified interactive instruction of the user, where the specified interactive instruction may be issued by the user through a voice manner or may be issued by the user through a setting area of a terminal screen, which will be described in detail in the following embodiments. The specified interactive instruction may be an instruction to switch applications when an interface of an application is displayed on the current home screen, or may be an instruction to start an application when an interface of an application is not displayed on the current home screen.
In step 202, after receiving the application switching instruction, the terminal displays a switchable application in a first setting area of the screen, where the switchable application may be displayed in an icon list manner.
In steps 203 and 204, the user selects among the displayed switchable applications, determines a target application selected by the user, and displays the target application on the main interface of the screen, thus completing the switching of the applications.
By adopting the method, the user can be quickly switched to the target application, the switching process is more in line with the use habit of the user, the application range of the quick switching is wider, and the desktop starter can be replaced under most use scenes, so that the problems of inconvenient application switching and long application calling delay or complex operation process in the existing method are solved.
In an alternative embodiment, the receiving of the user's specified interactive instruction includes any one of the following:
receiving the appointed interaction instruction input by the user through a second set area of the terminal screen;
and receiving the specified interactive instruction input by the user through voice.
The second setting area is a trigger area for triggering execution of the specified interactive instruction, and is usually set on the upper portion of the side screen on the right side of the main screen (most users operate the mobile phone with the right hand) for the convenience of the users. For example, when the finger of the user is detected to touch the trigger area, the user is considered to want to switch the application or start the application, and the touch may be long pressing the trigger area for a set period of time, re-pressing the trigger area for a set pressure, and the like. For another example, when the finger of the user is detected to click on the trigger area, the user is considered to want to switch the application or start the application, and the click may be a single click, a double click, or the like.
Specifically, the cases of receiving the specified interactive instruction from the user are as follows:
(1) long-time pressing, namely detecting the pressing operation of a finger of a user on the side of the touch screen, and determining to receive a specified interactive instruction when the pressing operation continuously reaches a set time period;
(2) re-pressing, namely detecting the pressing operation of a finger of a user on the side of the touch screen, and determining to receive a specified interactive instruction when detecting that the contact area between the finger and the screen is enlarged to reach a threshold value;
(3) clicking, namely determining that a specified interaction instruction is received when the side edge of the touch screen detects the finger clicking operation of a user;
(4) double-click, namely determining that a specified interaction instruction is received when the side edge of the touch screen detects that the finger of a user performs double-click operation;
(5) and sliding, namely determining that a specified interaction instruction is received when the side edge of the touch screen detects the finger sliding operation of the user.
In addition, the user can also send out a specified interaction instruction in a voice form. The terminal receives the instruction through a voice recognition technology.
The two modes are adopted to receive the specified interactive instruction sent by the user, so that the user can conveniently trigger the switching of the application, such as speaking, or simply placing a finger at a set position on a screen naturally when holding the terminal. And when the second setting area, i.e. the trigger area, is located on the side screen, the placement of the user's fingers is more labor-saving and convenient.
It should be noted that, when receiving the specified interactive instruction, the terminal sends out a sound or a motor vibration to feedback to the user that the specified interactive instruction has been received. Simultaneously or subsequently, the switchable application is displayed in the first setting region.
In an optional embodiment, the displaying the switchable application in the first setting area of the terminal screen includes:
displaying icons capable of switching applications in a set arrangement mode in the first set area of the terminal screen.
The first setting area may be located at a lower portion of a side screen on a right side of the main screen (most users operate the mobile phone with a right hand), that is, below the trigger area, so that a finger of the user may slide down and select an application after touching the trigger area to issue an application switching instruction.
In an alternative embodiment, the displaying the icons of the switchable applications in the set arrangement includes:
displaying the switchable applications in an order of usage frequency of the switchable applications; or
Displaying the switchable applications based on the ranking of the intelligent recommended applications obtained through the network.
The switchable application typically comprises a plurality of applications, and therefore the applications need to be displayed in a certain order.
The set sequence here may be a sequence of the use frequency of the applications used by the user most recently, or may be a sequence of the intelligent recommended applications generated by the terminal system or acquired through the network. For example, the terminal acquires the number of times each application is used based on the fact that the user uses the application within a certain period of time (one day, one week, or one month), and displays icons of the respective applications in the order of the number of times of use (frequency of use) from high to low. The first setting area may display only the most recently used application icon, may display only the intelligently recommended application icon, or may display both the most recently used application icon and the intelligently recommended application icon. That is, the functionality of the system intelligent recommendation application may be turned off.
The arrangement of the application icons (e.g., rows and columns) may be based on default settings of the terminal or based on user settings.
By adopting the display mode, the user can find and select the application to which the user wants to switch as quickly as possible.
In addition, when the icons are displayed, the display may be performed based on default settings of the terminal or based on settings of the user. For example, the icons may be displayed in a normally-on mode, a delayed display mode (displayed within a period of time when an instruction to switch applications is received), and a side icon normally-gray false triggering prevention mode. The position of the application icon displayed in the first setting region may be adjusted according to system settings or user settings.
In an optional embodiment, the determining the target application selected by the user in the switchable applications includes:
when the setting operation of a user for one application in the switchable applications is detected, the application to which the setting operation is directed is determined as the target application selected by the user.
The terminal may determine the target application selected by the user by detecting a setting operation for one of the switchable applications. The specific description of the setting operation here is as follows.
In an alternative embodiment, the setting operation comprises any one of:
a click operation for an icon of the application, a press operation for an icon of the application, a finger lift operation for an icon of the application, an operation of pressing and sliding the icon of the application toward a home screen area of the terminal screen.
(1) Clicking operation of icon for application
When a user selects one of the switchable applications, an icon of the application may be clicked, for example, clicked, double-clicked, or the like. And when the terminal detects the click operation of the user, acquiring an application icon corresponding to the click position, and determining the corresponding application as the target application selected by the user.
(2) Pressing operation of an icon for the application
When the user selects one of the switchable applications, an icon of the application may be pressed, e.g., long-pressed, heavy-pressed, etc. And when the terminal detects the pressing operation of the user, acquiring an application icon corresponding to the clicking position, and determining the corresponding application as the target application selected by the user.
(3) Finger-lift operation of an icon for the application
After the user presses the trigger area, the switchable applications are displayed in the first setting area, the finger of the user slides downwards along the side screen, and when the finger slides to one application icon in the switchable applications, the finger is lifted. When the terminal detects that the finger starts sliding from the trigger area and stops contacting with the side screen (namely, the finger is lifted), the application icon corresponding to the lifted position of the finger is obtained, and the corresponding application is determined as the target application selected by the user. As shown in fig. 3, 301 indicates a terminal side (shown as a planar expanded view for easy viewing), 302 indicates a trigger area, 303 indicates a finger sliding path, and 304 indicates a switchable application.
(4) Operation of pressing and sliding the icon of the application toward a home screen area of the terminal screen
When a user selects one of the switchable applications, the user may press an icon of the application and slide the icon of the application toward a home screen area of the terminal screen. When the terminal detects that the user finger presses the icon of one application and the sliding operation is performed from the icon to the main screen area, the application corresponding to the icon is determined as the target application selected by the user. As shown in fig. 4, 401 represents the side of the terminal (shown as a flat-open view for easy viewing), 402 represents the finger sliding path, 403 represents the history or recommended application icon, and 404 represents the application interface after switching.
When a click operation, a press operation, or a lift operation for an icon of an application is detected, the icon of the application may be displayed in an enlarged manner, in a darkened manner, in a stereoscopic manner, or the like, so as to highlight the icon of the target application.
In an optional embodiment, after the switchable application is displayed in the first setting region of the terminal screen, the method further includes:
displaying the switchable application in a main screen area of the terminal screen when a pressing operation of the user in the second setting area and a sliding operation from the second setting area toward the main screen area of the terminal screen are detected.
In this embodiment, in order to facilitate the user to view the switchable application more clearly, the switchable application displayed in the first setting area may be displayed in the main screen area. At this time, the finger of the user presses the second setting area and slides from the pressed position toward the main screen area, that is, the switchable application displayed in the first setting area is displayed on the main screen, and the switchable application displayed in the first setting area may also be referred to as a multitasking window. When the terminal detects the above-mentioned operation of the user's finger, a multitask window is displayed in the main screen area. When displayed in the main screen area, the display position on the main screen may be shifted as the finger slides on the main screen.
In an alternative embodiment, displaying the switchable application in a home screen area of the terminal screen includes:
acquiring a sliding distance of the sliding operation from the second setting area toward the main screen area;
when the sliding distance is smaller than a set threshold value, displaying the switchable application in the main screen area, wherein the size of the switchable application interface is in direct proportion to the sliding distance;
when the sliding distance is greater than or equal to the set threshold, displaying the switchable application on the main screen area in a full screen mode.
When the switchable application (multitasking window) is displayed in the main screen area, the size of the multitasking window (i.e. the size of the switchable application interface) changes with the sliding distance when the thumb of the user slides towards the main screen, and the larger the sliding distance, the larger the multitasking window. And when the sliding distance is greater than a set threshold value, the multitask window is displayed on the full screen of the main screen area. When the sliding distance is smaller than the set threshold value, the size of the multitask window is not changed when the stop of the sliding operation is detected, and when the reverse direction of the sliding operation is detected, the multitask window moves to the second set area until the display returns to the second set area. As shown in fig. 5, 501 denotes a terminal side (shown as a planar development view for easy viewing), 502 denotes a trigger area, 503 denotes a slide path, and 504, 505, and 506 denote multitask windows.
In a specific embodiment, on the main screen, the multitask window gradually expands and becomes larger along with the sliding of the finger away from the second setting area, and if the finger of the user pulls back the side of the screen in the reverse direction, the multitask window is reduced to be cancelled. And when the sliding distance of the finger of the user far away from the second set area is large enough to release the finger, the multitask window is enlarged to the full screen.
In an alternative embodiment, the first setting region and/or the second setting region are located in a side region of the terminal screen.
As described above, both the first setting region and the second setting region may be located in the side region of the terminal screen, or only one of them may be located in the side region of the terminal screen.
