Detailed Description
Reference will now be made in detail to the exemplary embodiments, examples of which are illustrated in the accompanying drawings. When the following description refers to the accompanying drawings, like numbers in different drawings represent the same or similar elements unless otherwise indicated. The embodiments described in the following exemplary embodiments do not represent all embodiments consistent with the present invention. Rather, they are merely examples of apparatus and methods consistent with certain aspects of the invention, as detailed in the appended claims.
Fig. 1 is a partial perspective view of a terminal shown in accordance with an exemplary embodiment; the terminal 10 may be an electronic device with a split-screen multitasking operating system, for example, a smart phone, a tablet computer, etc., as shown in fig. 1, the terminal 10 includes: a main screen 11, a sub-screen 12 and a microprocessor (not shown).
An accommodating cavity 13 is formed between the main screen 11 and the terminal shell, the accommodating cavity 13 is used for accommodating the auxiliary screen 12, and an opening 14 is formed in one side of the terminal shell of the accommodating cavity 13 and used for enabling the auxiliary screen 12 to slide out of the opening 14;
the microprocessor is connected to the main screen 11 and the sub-screen 12, respectively, for controlling the information display of the main screen 11 and the sub-screen 12.
In an embodiment, the present disclosure does not limit the sliding direction of the sub-screen 12 and the relative position between the main screen 11 and the sub-screen 12 after sliding out, and the sub-screen 12 can slide out from above the main screen 11, and can also slide out from below, left side, and right side of the main screen; in an embodiment, the present disclosure does not limit the size of the sub-screen 12, and the size of the sub-screen 12 may be determined according to the hardware design requirement of the terminal 10 and the size of the main screen 11 of the terminal.
In an embodiment, when the sub-screen 12 does not slide out of the accommodating cavity 13, the outer frame 121 of the sub-screen 12 and the accommodating cavity 13 form a closed body, that is, when the sub-screen 12 does not slide out of the accommodating cavity, the sub-screen 12 embedded in the terminal is not seen on the outer surface of the terminal 10.
In this embodiment, the sub-screen 12 is embedded in the terminal, and when a multitasking process needs to be performed, the sub-screen 12 can slide out, so that application interfaces of different applications are displayed on the main screen 11 and the sub-screen 12, and accordingly split-screen display is achieved. Since the sub-screen 12 is located inside the terminal 10, when the sub-screen is not required, the user does not see that the sub-screen is embedded in the terminal 10 on the outer surface of the terminal 10, and thus the aesthetic sense of the external design of the terminal 10 can be ensured.
Fig. 2A is a schematic diagram illustrating a slide between a main screen and a sub screen of a terminal according to an exemplary embodiment, fig. 2B is a schematic diagram illustrating an interface of the terminal after the sub screen slides out according to an exemplary embodiment, fig. 2C is a schematic diagram illustrating an interface of the terminal after the sub screen slides out according to an exemplary embodiment, and fig. 2C is a schematic diagram illustrating an interface of the terminal after the sub screen slides out according to an exemplary embodiment; the present embodiment uses the above-mentioned device provided by the embodiment of the present disclosure to exemplarily explain by providing an ultrasonic signal channel inside the electronic device, as shown in fig. 2A and 2B, on the basis of the above-mentioned embodiment shown in fig. 1, two side frames adjacent to the opening 14 in the accommodating cavity 13 are provided with slideways 15;
when the auxiliary screen 12 slides out of the accommodating cavity 13 along the slide way 15, the auxiliary screen 12 is started;
when the secondary screen 12 slides into the receiving cavity along the slide 15, the secondary screen 12 is deactivated.
In an embodiment, since the accommodating cavity 13 is provided with a slide way, in order to realize perfect integration of the secondary screen 12 and the accommodating cavity 13, a protrusion may be correspondingly provided at a position on the secondary screen 12, where the slide way of the accommodating cavity is combined, so as to realize attachment of the secondary screen 12 and the accommodating cavity 13.
In one embodiment, the receiving cavity 13 is sized to correspond to the size of the secondary screen 12.
In one embodiment, the terminal 10 further includes: and the control key 17 is connected with the auxiliary screen 12 and used for starting or stopping the auxiliary screen, and a user can trigger the auxiliary screen 12 to slide out of the accommodating cavity 13 by pressing the control key 17. The control keys 17 may be located at the positions indicated at 17 in fig. 2A, and may be located on the sub-screen outer frame 121. The size of the control key 17 is not limited in this disclosure.
In an embodiment, an elastic member may be further disposed inside the receiving cavity of the terminal 10 corresponding to the opening, so that when a user presses the outer frame 121 of the sub-screen, the elastic member is pressed, and the generated elastic force pushes the sub-screen outwards.
In an exemplary scenario, for example, an application interface (e.g., a preview interface of a camera application) of a currently used program is displayed on the primary screen, when the secondary screen 12 is enabled, the terminal 10 may acquire a background application and display an icon (e.g., a microblog, short message, or WeChat application) of the background application on the secondary screen, as shown in fig. 2B, and when it is detected that a long-press operation or a click operation is performed on an icon of a short message, for example, by a user, an application interface corresponding to the short message may be displayed on the secondary screen, as shown in fig. 2C, so that application interfaces of different applications may be clearly displayed through the primary screen and the secondary screen when a multi-screen multi-task operation is performed.
In this embodiment, the sub-screen 12 can be very easily slid out of or into the accommodating cavity 13 by the slide provided in the accommodating cavity 13, and activation or deactivation of the sub-screen is realized.
Fig. 3 is a flowchart illustrating a split-screen display method according to an exemplary embodiment, where as shown in fig. 3, the split-screen display method includes the following steps:
in step 301, upon detecting that the secondary screen is enabled, icons of the background application are displayed on the secondary screen.
In an embodiment, a monitoring process may be added to the system process, and is configured to monitor whether an event message that is started by a secondary screen and reported by a bottom-layer hardware driver exists, when the secondary screen slides out, the bottom-layer hardware driver may detect the event that is started by the secondary screen and send the event message that is started by the secondary screen, and after receiving the event message that is started by the secondary screen, the monitoring process may obtain a current background application and display an icon of the background application on the secondary screen.
In step 302, when detecting that a user selects an icon of a background application on the secondary screen, displaying an application interface of the selected background application on the secondary screen.
In one embodiment, the user may select a background application by clicking or long-pressing (e.g., pressing for more than 2 seconds).
In the embodiment, when the terminal detects that the auxiliary screen is enabled, the terminal can acquire the background application, display the icon of the background application on the auxiliary screen, and display the application interface of the selected background application on the auxiliary screen based on the selection of the user.
