Abstract
The embodiment of the application provides a display module and a display device. The display module comprises a display panel and a fingerprint module, wherein the display panel is provided with a first side and a second side which are oppositely arranged, the first side is used for displaying, and the second side is connected with a first circuit board in a binding way; the fingerprint module comprises a sensor, a second circuit board and a device group, wherein the sensor is fixed on the second side, the first end of the second circuit board is connected with the sensor in a binding mode, the second end of the second circuit board is connected with the first circuit board, and the device group is arranged on the first circuit board. The display module of this embodiment is through integrating the device group in the fingerprint module on the first circuit board on display panel for the second circuit board is as the sensor of patch cord connection fingerprint module and the first circuit board on the display panel, can reduce the cost when the fingerprint module carries out the reworking technology, thereby the manual grafting operation of being convenient for, and then reduce display module's manufacturing cost.

Along with the development of scientific technology, the ultrasonic fingerprint identification technology is also mature. At present, an ultrasonic fingerprint is used as a third-generation fingerprint identification technology, has strong environment adaptability, is less influenced by dirt, grease and water stains of fingers, can accurately identify the user fingerprint even if the fingers are polluted by water and dirt, and has better identification rate, but the application of the current ultrasonic fingerprint technology on display products still has a plurality of problems to be solved.
In the related art, in the display module assembly structure scheme applying the ultrasonic fingerprint technology, when the fingerprint test effect is poor, the whole ultrasonic fingerprint module assembly (Finger print system, abbreviated as FPS) needs to be replaced, so that the cost of the reworking process of the ultrasonic fingerprint module assembly is higher, and the production cost of the display module assembly is further improved.
Disclosure of Invention
The embodiment of the application provides a display module and display device, can reduce the cost when fingerprint module carries out the reworking technology, and then reduces display module and display device's manufacturing cost. The specific technical content is as follows:

the display panel is provided with a first side and a second side which are oppositely arranged, the first side is used for displaying, and the second side is connected with a first circuit board in a binding way;

In some embodiments of the present application, the display module further includes a heat dissipation film, the heat dissipation film is disposed on the second side, an opening is formed in the heat dissipation film, the sensor is located in the opening and fixed on the second side, and the heat dissipation film covers at least a portion of the first circuit board.
In some embodiments of the present application, the first end of the second circuit board is formed with a binding region in binding connection with the sensor, the binding region being exposed within the aperture; the second end of the second circuit board is connected with the first circuit board through a connector, and the connector is arranged on the first circuit board.
In some embodiments of the present application, the sensor is secured to the second side by a glue layer.
In some embodiments of the present application, the front projection of the glue layer on the display panel is greater than the front projection of the sensor on the display panel; and the orthographic projection of the adhesive layer on the display panel is smaller than or equal to the orthographic projection of the opening on the display panel.
In some embodiments of the present application, the device group includes a driver chip, a capacitive device, and an inductive device.
In some embodiments of the present application, the sensor includes a substrate fixed to the second side, a circuit layer, a piezoelectric layer and a first electrode sequentially stacked on the substrate along a direction away from the substrate, the circuit layer includes a second electrode, the piezoelectric layer is disposed on a side of the second electrode away from the substrate, and the first electrode is disposed on a side of the piezoelectric layer away from the substrate.
In some embodiments of the present application, the glue layer is a light-shielding glue layer.
In some embodiments of the present application, the first side includes a display area for display, the display area including a fingerprint identification area, the fingerprint identification area corresponding to the sensor location.
In a second aspect, an embodiment of the present application further provides a display device, including the display module set according to any one of the first aspect.
The beneficial effects of the embodiment of the application are that:
the embodiment of the application provides a display module, including display panel and fingerprint module, bind on display panel's the second side and be connected with first circuit board, fingerprint module includes the sensor, second circuit board and device group, through the device group integration in the fingerprint module on the first circuit board on display panel, make the second circuit board connect the sensor of fingerprint module and the first circuit board on the display panel as the patch cord, like this, when the fingerprint module need carry out the reworking technology, only change sensor and the second circuit board in the fingerprint module, can not influence the device group of fingerprint module, thereby can avoid the fingerprint module to carry out the device group waste when the reworking technology, reduce the cost when the fingerprint module carries out the reworking technology, and then reduce the manufacturing cost of display module. On the other hand, the device group is not arranged on the second circuit board, so that the movable area of the connection position of the second circuit board and the first circuit board is larger, and the manual plugging operation is convenient. In addition, the device group is concentrated on the first circuit board, so that the design of the middle frame of the whole machine end can be facilitated. The display module of the embodiment of the application can be applied to a display device, so that the production cost of the display device can be reduced.
Of course, not all of the above-described advantages need be achieved simultaneously in practicing any one of the products or methods of the present application.

Detailed Description
The following description of the embodiments of the present application will be made clearly and fully with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which it is evident that the embodiments described are only some, but not all, of the embodiments of the present application. All other embodiments obtained by a person of ordinary skill in the art based on the embodiments in the present application are within the scope of the protection of the present application.
In some display module assembly structure schemes applying ultrasonic fingerprint technology, when the fingerprint test effect is poor, the whole ultrasonic fingerprint module assembly (Finger print system, FPS for short) needs to be replaced, so that the cost of reworking technology of the ultrasonic fingerprint module assembly is higher, and the production cost of the display module assembly is further improved.
For this purpose, as shown in fig. 1, an embodiment of the first aspect of the present application proposes a display module 100, which includes a display panel 110 and a fingerprint module 120, where the display panel 110 has a first side 111 and a second side 112 that are oppositely disposed, the first side 111 is used for displaying, and the second side 112 is bound and connected with a first circuit board 113; the fingerprint module 120 includes a sensor 121, a second circuit board 122 and a device group 123, the sensor 121 is fixed on the second side 112, a first end of the second circuit board 122 is bound and connected with the sensor 121, a second end of the second circuit board 122 is connected with the first circuit board 113, and the device group 123 is arranged on the first circuit board 113.
According to the display module 100 provided by the embodiment of the application, the display module 100 comprises a display panel 110 and a fingerprint module 120, wherein the display panel 110 is provided with a first side 111 and a second side 112 which are oppositely arranged, the second side 112 is bound and connected with a first circuit board 113, the fingerprint module 120 comprises a sensor 121, a second circuit board 122 and a device group 123, the sensor 121 is fixed on the second side 112, the first end of the second circuit board 122 is bound and connected with the sensor 121, the second end of the second circuit board 122 is connected with the first circuit board 113, and the device group 123 is arranged on the first circuit board 113. By integrating the device group 123 of the fingerprint module 120 on the first circuit board 113 on the display panel 110, the second circuit board 122 is used as an adapter wire to connect the sensor 121 of the fingerprint module 120 with the first circuit board 113 on the display panel 110, so that when the fingerprint test effect is poor and the rework process of the fingerprint module 120 is required, only the sensor 121 and the second circuit board 122 in the fingerprint module 120 are partially replaced, the device group 123 of the fingerprint module 120 is not affected, and the device group waste during the rework process of the fingerprint module 120 can be avoided, and the cost during the rework process of the fingerprint module 120 is reduced. On the other hand, since the device group 123 is not provided on the second circuit board 122, the movable area of the position where the second circuit board 122 is connected to the first circuit board is large (for example, the area where tweezers can hold is large), thereby facilitating the manual insertion operation. In addition, the device group 123 is concentrated on the first circuit board 113, which can facilitate the design of the whole machine end middle frame.
The device group 123 includes a driver chip, a capacitor device, an inductor device, a resistor device, and the like. The sensor 121 may be controlled by a driver chip, for example, the driver chip may provide a control signal to the sensor 121 to cause the sensor 121 to emit ultrasonic waves, and further, the driver chip may receive an electrical signal converted from the reflected ultrasonic wave signal by the sensor 121 to recognize a fingerprint.
In some embodiments of the present application, the display module 100 further includes a heat dissipation film 130, the heat dissipation film 130 is disposed on the second side 112, the heat dissipation film 130 is provided with an opening 131, the sensor 121 is located in the opening 131 and fixed on the second side 112, and the heat dissipation film 130 covers at least a portion of the first circuit board 113. Because the heat dissipation film 130 is made of Super Clean Foam (SCF), and the SCF contains a metal layer, which can affect the normal operation of the fingerprint module (FPS), the heat dissipation film 130 is provided with the openings 131, so that the fingerprint module 120 is attached to ensure the normal operation of the fingerprint module 120, and in addition, the heat dissipation of the display panel 110 and the first circuit board 113 is facilitated through the heat dissipation film 130.
In some embodiments of the present application, the first end of the second circuit board 122 is formed with a binding area 1221 in binding connection with the sensor 121, and the binding area 1221 is exposed in the opening 131 to ensure performance of the fingerprint module 120.
In some embodiments of the present application, the second circuit board 122 is connected to the first circuit board 113 through the connector 140, and the connector 140 is disposed on the first circuit board 113. The connector 140 may be a plug connector, a snap connector, a solder connector, or the like.
In some embodiments of the present application, the sensor 121 is secured to the second side 112 by a glue layer 150. The sensor 121 may be conveniently fixed to the second side 112 of the display panel 110 by means of the adhesive layer 150.
In some embodiments of the present application, the front projection of the adhesive layer 150 on the display panel 110 is greater than the front projection of the sensor 121 on the display panel 110, so that the sensor 121 is stably fixed on the second side 112 of the display panel 110.
In some embodiments of the present application, the front projection of the adhesive layer 150 on the display panel 110 is less than or equal to the front projection of the opening 131 on the display panel, so as to facilitate the installation of the sensor 121.
In some embodiments of the present application, the sensor 121 includes a substrate fixed to the second side 112 by a glue layer, a circuit layer, a piezoelectric layer and a first electrode sequentially stacked on the substrate along a direction away from the substrate, the circuit layer includes a second electrode, the piezoelectric layer is disposed on a side of the second electrode away from the substrate, and the first electrode is disposed on a side of the piezoelectric layer away from the substrate. In one example, the circuit layer may further include a plurality of Thin Film Transistors (TFTs) arrayed on the substrate and a wiring connecting the plurality of TFTs. In this example, the piezoelectric layer may generate and emit ultrasonic waves under the potential difference between the first electrode and the second electrode, and may also receive the reflected ultrasonic waves and convert the reflected ultrasonic waves into an electrical signal, which is amplified by the circuit layer and the like and then transmitted to a control device (such as a driving chip) to identify the fingerprint.
In some embodiments of the present application, the display module 100 may further include a polarizer and a cover plate sequentially stacked on the first side of the display panel 110, wherein the polarizer and the display panel, and the polarizer and the cover plate may be bonded by an optically transparent adhesive. The heat dissipation film 130 may be attached to the second side 112 of the display panel 110, or a surface of the second side 112 of the display panel 110 may be attached with a back film or other auxiliary film layer, and the heat dissipation film 130 may be attached to a surface of the back film or other auxiliary film layer facing away from the display panel 110.
In some embodiments of the present application, the display panel 110 may be an OLED display panel or a QLED display panel. Taking an OLED display panel as an example, the display panel 100 may include a substrate, and a circuit structure layer, a light emitting structure layer and a packaging structure layer sequentially stacked on the substrate, where the circuit structure layer includes a pixel driving circuit, the light emitting structure layer includes a plurality of light emitting elements, the light emitting elements may be OLED devices and connected to the pixel driving circuit, and the packaging structure layer may include a first inorganic packaging layer, an organic packaging layer and a second inorganic packaging layer sequentially stacked.
In some embodiments of the present application, the glue layer 150 employs a light shielding glue layer. The opacifying layer may be a Pressure Sensitive Adhesive (PSA) or other type of adhesive.
In some embodiments of the present application, the second circuit board 122 may be a flexible circuit board (Flexible printed Circuit, abbreviated as FPC).
In some embodiments of the present application, as shown in fig. 2, the first side 111 includes a display area 1111 for display, the display area 1111 including a fingerprint recognition area 1112, the fingerprint recognition area 1112 corresponding to the sensor 121 location. When a finger touches the fingerprint recognition area 1112 on the first side 111 of the display panel 110, the fingerprint module 120 can recognize a fingerprint.
In a second aspect, embodiments of the present application further provide a display device, including the display module 100 of any one of the first aspect.
The specific type of the display device is not particularly limited, and the type of the display device commonly used in the art may be any product or component having a display function, such as a mobile phone, a tablet computer, a television, a display, a notebook computer, a digital photo frame, a navigator, etc., which can be selected by a person skilled in the art according to the specific use of the display device, and will not be described herein.
It should be noted that, the display device includes other necessary components and components besides the display panel, so that the display device can be correspondingly supplemented by a person skilled in the art according to specific use requirements of the display device for the purpose of, for example, a housing, a circuit board, a power cord, etc., which are not described herein.
Compared with the prior art, the display device provided in the embodiment of the present application has the same beneficial effects as the display panel provided in the above embodiment, and is not described herein again.

Claims (9)
1. A display module, comprising:
the display panel is provided with a first side and a second side which are oppositely arranged, the first side is used for displaying, and the second side is connected with a first circuit board in a binding way;
the fingerprint module comprises a sensor, a second circuit board and a device group, wherein the sensor is fixed on the second side, a first end of the second circuit board is connected with the sensor in a binding mode, and a second end of the second circuit board is connected with the first circuit board, so that the second circuit board is used as an adapter wire to connect the sensor of the fingerprint module with the first circuit board on the display panel; the second end of the second circuit board is connected with the first circuit board through a connector, and the connector is arranged on the first circuit board; the device group is arranged on the first circuit board; the device group comprises a driving chip, a capacitor device and an inductor device.
2. The display module of claim 1, further comprising a heat sink film disposed on the second side, the heat sink film having an aperture therein, the sensor being positioned within the aperture and secured to the second side, the heat sink film covering at least a portion of the first circuit board.
3. The display module of claim 2, wherein the first end of the second circuit board is formed with a binding region in binding connection with the sensor, the binding region being exposed within the aperture.
4. The display module of claim 2, wherein the sensor is secured to the second side by a glue layer.
5. The display module of claim 4, wherein the orthographic projection of the glue layer on the display panel is greater than the orthographic projection of the sensor on the display panel; and the orthographic projection of the adhesive layer on the display panel is smaller than or equal to the orthographic projection of the opening on the display panel.
6. The display module assembly of any one of claims 1 to 5, wherein the sensor comprises a substrate fixed to the second side, a circuit layer, a piezoelectric layer and a first electrode sequentially stacked on the substrate in a direction away from the substrate, the circuit layer comprising a second electrode, the piezoelectric layer being disposed on a side of the second electrode away from the substrate, and the first electrode being disposed on a side of the piezoelectric layer away from the substrate.
7. A display module according to claim 4 or 5, wherein the glue layer is a light-shielding glue layer.
8. The display module of claim 1, wherein the first side includes a display area for display, the display area including a fingerprint identification area, the fingerprint identification area corresponding to the sensor location.
9. A display device comprising the display module according to any one of claims 1 to 8.
