本发明涉及一种开关,其带有至少一组相互作用的触点,触点容纳在开关壳中并且可以透过一个透明窗口而被看到。触点布置在载流簧片的自由端上,簧片向着窗口延伸。
这种类型的开关是众所周知的,它们具有一个缺点,即在使用了一段时间后,窗口会被弄脏而变得不是充分透明了,这就导致触点的位置不再能够清楚地看到。出现这种问题的原因是,当载流触点分开时,会形成一个电弧,电弧产生的物质会沉积在窗口上。
在美国专利5,061,833中描述了一种上述类型的开关,其中载流簧片具有一个邻近于它的触点的U形段,而且上述段的开口背向窗口。
本发明的一个目的是提供一种在前叙部分中描述类型的开关,其能够克服上述缺点。
根据本发明,这个目的可以通过下面事实而实现,即一个由可磁化材料制成的板被安置在至少一个簧片的U形段的臂之间。
利用一个或多个U形段可以在触点位置上产生一个磁场,这个磁场使得电弧背离窗口吹出。这样可以减轻窗口的沾染。

在一种现有开关中,即出于安全原因,触点以这样的方式布置在开关壳中,即触点能够被安装了开关的设备的操作人员看到。其结果是,操作人员除了可以获得按钮信号以外,还能获得用于显示触点是断开还是闭合的视觉指示,这是由于在某些环境下按钮信号不能正确地指示触点的位置。在开关壳装经常装有一个窗口,以使触点可见。触点位于窗口的正后方,特别是以这样的方式布置,从而使得触点的位置,即断开或闭合,能够快速和可靠地检验。
图1显示了一个这种类型开关的一部分,开关带有一个外壳1。由透明材料制成的窗口2安置在该外壳中。分别固定在相应簧片5和6端部的触点3和4安置在窗口后面。电流通过这些簧片供应和排放。
当触点3和4位于闭合位置时,一般会有电流流过触点3和4以及簧片5和6。在这种载流状态下,如果触点3和4彼此分开,换言之,电路断开,则会有电弧形成在触点3和4之间。这个电弧所产生的物质将沉积在窗口2上并导致窗口弄脏。如果载流簧片5和6以最现眼的形态布置,如图1所示,即面对着窗口2,则电弧实际上会吹向窗口,从而导致更快的弄脏。因此,需要采取措施以确保触点可见,即使是经过了多次开关操作以后。
图2显示了根据本发明的一种方法。图中所示开关也包含装有窗口12的外壳1。触点3和4固定在载流簧片5和6的自由端上,所述簧片上分别具有一个U形段。该U形段包含横片7以及臂8和9。触点3通过,例如铆接,而固定在臂9的自由端上。优选的结构是,在载流簧片6上实施同样的措施,如图2中的实施例所示。应当指出,簧片5和6的U形段包含带有直角的平直部分。然而,也可以采用连续环形。
利用载流簧片5和6的U形段的结果是,在触点3和4的位置上,可以产生一个磁场,以使电弧背离窗口2吹出。其结果是,窗口2不会被弄脏,即使是经过了多次开关操作以后。
因载流簧片5和6的特定形状而导致的吹弧可以通过一种未示出的方式而改进,即簧片上固定着触点的部位,即簧片U形段的臂9,窄于簧片5的其余部位。这样可以使簧片上固定着触点的相关部位的磁场相对于簧片5的其余部位的磁场得到强化。
图3显示了一个实施例,其中吹弧被进一步强化。为此,在簧片5和6的U形段的臂8和9之间分别装有一个由可磁化材料制成的板10、11。
在图2、3和4中,相应的部件以相同的参考代号表示,因此这些部件不再通过图3和4进行描述。
根据图4,一个由可磁化材料制成的板添加在触点3和4之间并邻近于它们。这个板12垂直于触点3和4的运动平面。还已发现,这个板可以进一步强化触点3和4处的所需磁场。

Claims (3)

1.一种开关,其带有至少一组相互作用的触点,触点容纳在开关壳中并且可以透过一个透明窗口而被看到,所述触点布置在载流簧片的自由端上,簧片向着窗口延伸,其中至少一个簧片具有一个邻近于它的触点的U形段,U形段的开口背向窗口,其特征在于,一个由可磁化材料制成的板安置在至少一个簧片的U形段的臂之间。
2.根据权利要求1所述的开关,其特征在于,一个板邻近于触点安置,该板由可磁化材料制成并且垂直于触点运动平面延伸。
3.根据权利要求1或2所述的开关,其特征在于,U形段上的带有触点的臂窄于簧片的其余部位。
