The conference system host and the conference system units are connected through RS485 cables, and the unique serial numbers of the units burned by production and processing personnel are pre-stored in the FLASH memories of each conference system unit, such as 12301 burning for the No. 1 unit, 12302 burning for the No. 2 unit and 12303 burning for the No. 3 unit. The serial numbers are unit PIN codes, ID codes are required for communication between the host and the units, the host needs to communicate by using the ID codes of the units, the host needs to carry the ID codes of the designated units in a transmitted communication packet when sending an instruction to the designated units, for example, the host lets the unit with the unit ID of 1 speak, information with the ID of 1 needs to be contained in the transmitted communication packet, all the units receive the message of the speech at this time, only the unit with the ID of 1 finds that the unit requests to speak, the unit responds to the speech instruction, and the IDs of other units are not 1, so that other units do not respond to the speech instruction.
By the automatic numbering method for the units of the conference system, the conference system units can be operated without manpower in the whole numbering process, and when new conference system units need to be added after numbering is finished, the conference system units can be normally added into the conference system, namely plug and play of the conference system units are supported.
