When the diameter of the roll 10 has reached the level required by the process (usually by a meter or similar metering device not shown in the figures and feeding back a signal to the electrical controller), the latter issues a command to cut the non-woven fabric 9.
Referring to fig. 3 in conjunction with fig. 1 and 2, when the non-woven fabric 9 is to be cut off by changing the roll, under the command of the electrical controller, the swing arm actuating wheel driving device operates (rotates) the swing arm actuating wheel 5 in the reverse direction to displace the front ends of the pair of swing arms 4 upward, i.e. clockwise, relative to the state of fig. 2, and at the same time, drives the cloth supporting mechanism 1 and the non-woven fabric cutting mechanism 3 into a fabric cutting operation state, in which the tensioning shaft 33 is in a tensioned state with respect to the non-woven fabric 9 due to the operation of the pair of pivot arm driving cylinders 38, and in a fabric supporting state of the cloth supporting mechanism 1, the non-woven fabric cutting knife 35 is in a good contact state with the passing non-woven fabric 9, in which the non-woven fabric passing through the non-woven fabric cutting knife serrated edge 351 is cut off, that is, the nonwoven fabric passing there is instantaneously cut by the nonwoven fabric cutting blade serrated edge 351, and after the top of the nonwoven fabric 9 is cut, the swing arm actuator 5 is rotated in the reverse direction, and the pair of swing arms 4, the cloth supporting mechanism 1, and the nonwoven fabric cutting mechanism 3 of the present invention return to the state shown in fig. 2.
