The separator is an important component in the lead-acid battery, and the performance of the separator is directly influenced on the discharge capacity and the service life of charge and discharge cycles of the battery between the positive plate and the negative plate of the battery. The PE separator is produced by conveying, mixing, melting, mixing, metering and pressurizing through a parallel double-screw extruder, and finally extruding and molding through a flat-mouth sheet die head. The working state of the extruder system can be kept stable within a certain period after the debugging is finished in a new machine state. During this period, the viscosity of the material obtained after setting the temperature and the rotation speed is basically stable and consistent. Thus, the desired state and result can be obtained after the extrusion parameters are set. At this time, the viscosity of the material is a hidden factor, and the true influence of the viscosity is hardly found.
However, when the equipment degree is over-stable, equipment wear is increased, and the working condition of the extrusion system is changed fundamentally. The original set equipment parameters cannot achieve the expected effect, and even if the parameters are properly adjusted, the machine cannot be in a stable working state for a long time. The extruder has different abrasion loss at different stages in the use process, so that the extrusion working conditions have great variation. Under the same material conditions, extrusion temperature parameters and rotation speed, the discharge states of the dies can be greatly different. Therefore, the extrusion conditions caused by the stepwise change of the abrasion amount of the extruder screw are not fundamentally understood, so that the consistency and stability of the control product are difficult.
