Description

Remote recovery method and device for home gateway
Technical Field
The embodiment of the application relates to the technical field of communication, in particular to a remote recovery method and device for a home gateway.
Background
A home gateway (home gateway) is a type of hardware capable of connecting a home network or a small office network to the internet (internet). It can support remote control, detection and configuration. Home gateways, wireless routers, internet of things terminals, and the like, have the potential to be hacked and controlled, thereby risking revealing user information.
A hacker will typically modify or delete the remote management channel between the home gateway and the remote management device. At present, telecom operators cannot solve the security infection risk of the home gateway through remote recovery configuration, software upgrading and other modes, and only can go to the home for maintenance, so that the security infection risk solving efficiency is low.

And then, the first home gateway sends a first connection request to the IP address of the second home gateway to request to connect the remote management equipment. The first home gateway receives a first operation instruction issued by the remote management device, and when the first operation instruction carries the identification of the first home gateway, the first home gateway executes the configuration operation of the return source according to the configuration information of the remote management channel between the first home gateway and the remote management device. And then, the first home gateway sends a second connection request to the remote management equipment, and if a connection response of the remote management equipment is received, the first home gateway is determined to be successfully recovered remotely.
In a second aspect, the present application provides a remote recovery method for a home gateway, applied to a remote management device, where the method includes: the remote management device receives a first connection request sent by a second home gateway, and when determining that communication with the first home gateway fails, sends a first operation instruction to the second home gateway, and instructs the first home gateway to execute a return source configuration operation. Wherein the first connection request is generated by the first home gateway. If a second connection request sent by the first home gateway is received, the remote management device sends a connection response to the first home gateway, and the remote recovery of the first home gateway is determined to be successful.

In an intelligent home system, a home gateway is generally utilized to access an intelligent home terminal to the internet, so that rich, diversified, personalized, convenient, comfortable, safe and efficient services are provided for people. Fig. 1 provides a prior art smart home network system. Referring to fig. 1, the smart home network system includes a remote management device 101, a home gateway 102, and a smart home terminal 103. The intelligent home terminal 103 is connected to the home gateway 102, and the home gateway 102 and the remote management device 101 are in communication connection. The remote management device 101 provides a remote management service for the home gateway 102, and the home gateway 102 is used to connect the smart home terminal 103 to a network.
The home gateway may support remote control, detection and configuration. At present, a home gateway deployed by a telecom operator can support two virtual local area network (virtual local area network) channels, namely an internet channel and a remote management (TR 069) channel, which are used for supporting different services. The internet channel is opened to the user and is used for forwarding service data of the user, such as data of surfing the internet, playing games and watching videos. The TR069 channel is open to the telecom operator, and can only be used for remotely managing the home gateway, for example, modifying parameters of the home gateway, upgrading a software version of the home gateway, and the like, and cannot carry any service data. For example, in the smart home network system shown in fig. 1, the home gateway 102 and the smart home terminal 103 use an internet channel to transmit user service data, and the remote management device 101 uses a TR069 channel to remotely manage the home gateway 102.
The application provides a remote recovery method and device for a home gateway. The remote recovery method comprises the following steps: the first home gateway determines that communication with the remote management device fails, acquires an IP address of the second home gateway, and sends a first connection request to the IP address of the second home gateway. The second home gateway forwards the first connection request to the remote management device. The remote management device determines that communication with the first home gateway fails and sends a first operation instruction to the second home gateway. The second home gateway forwards the first operation instruction to the first home gateway. The first home gateway determines that the first operation instruction carries the identifier of the first home gateway, executes the back source configuration operation according to the configuration information of the first channel, and then sends a second connection request to the remote management device. And the remote management equipment sends a connection response to the first home gateway and determines that the remote recovery of the first home gateway is successful. The remote repair method is provided for the first home gateway, and the repair efficiency of the security infection risk of the home gateway can be improved.
The remote recovery method of the home gateway provided by the embodiment of the application is suitable for the intelligent home network system shown in fig. 1. The remote management device and the home gateway in fig. 1 both belong to a remote restoration device of the home gateway. In a specific implementation, the remote restoration device of the home gateway has the components shown in fig. 2. Fig. 2 is a schematic diagram of a remote restoration device for a home gateway according to an embodiment of the present application, which may include a processor 202, where the processor 202 is configured to execute application program codes, so as to implement a remote restoration method for a home gateway according to the present application.
Processor 202 may be a central processing unit (central processing unit, CPU), microprocessor, application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC), or one or more integrated circuits for controlling the execution of the programs of the present application.
As shown in fig. 2, the remote recovery device of the home gateway may further include a memory 203. The memory 203 is used for storing application program codes for executing the scheme of the present application, and the execution is controlled by the processor 202.
The memory 203 may be, but is not limited to, a read-only memory (ROM) or other type of static storage device that can store static information and instructions, a random access memory (random access memory, RAM) or other type of dynamic storage device that can store information and instructions, or an electrically erasable programmable read-only memory (ELECTRICALLY ERASABLE PROGRAMMABLE READ-only memory, EEPROM), a compact disc read-only memory (compact disc read-only memory) or other optical disc storage, a compact disc storage (including compact disc, laser disc, optical disc, digital versatile disc, blu-ray disc, etc.), a magnetic disk storage medium or other magnetic storage device, or any other medium that can be used to carry or store desired program code in the form of instructions or data structures and that can be accessed by a computer. The memory 203 may be a stand-alone memory coupled to the processor 202 via a bus. Memory 203 may also be integrated with processor 202.
As shown in fig. 2, the remote recovery device of the home gateway may further comprise a communication interface 201, wherein the communication interface 201, the processor 202, the memory 203 may be coupled to each other, for example by a bus 204. The communication interface 201 is used for information interaction with other devices, such as a remote recovery device supporting a home gateway.
It should be noted that the device structure shown in fig. 2 does not constitute a limitation of the remote restoration apparatus of the home gateway, and the remote restoration apparatus of the home gateway may include more or less components than those shown in fig. 2, or may combine some components, or may be a different arrangement of components.
The following describes a remote restoration method for a home gateway according to an embodiment of the present application with reference to fig. 3 and fig. 4 in conjunction with the smart home network system shown in fig. 1 and the remote restoration device for a home gateway shown in fig. 2.
Fig. 3 is a flow chart of a remote recovery method of a home gateway according to an embodiment of the present application. Referring to fig. 3, the remote restoration method of the home gateway includes the following steps.
301. The first home gateway determines that communication with the remote management device fails, acquires an IP address of the second home gateway, and sends a first connection request to the IP address of the second home gateway.
The second home gateway is any home gateway in the same IP address field as the first home gateway. The first connection request is for requesting connection to a remote management device. The first connection request carries an identification of the first home gateway.
First, the first home gateway determines that communication with the remote management device fails. Specifically, after the first home gateway is deployed in the home of the user, the first home gateway periodically connects the remote management device (such as a TR069 channel of the first home gateway) through a first channel between the first home gateway and the remote management device by using the identification of the first home gateway as a password according to the initial configuration. For example, the identification of the first home gateway may place a Media Access Control (MAC) address for the first home gateway. When the first home gateway cannot be connected to the remote management device for N times continuously, determining that communication with the remote management device fails. For example, the first home gateway cannot connect to the remote management device 5 consecutive times, and determines that the communication has failed. At this time, when the first home gateway determines that it may be illegally hijacked, the remote recovery mechanism is started.
Then, the first home gateway acquires the IP address of the second home gateway. Specifically, the remote management device needs to maintain an information table, where the information table includes IP addresses of home gateways that access the remote management device and are located in the same IP address field. And the remote management device issues the information table to each home gateway accessed to the remote management device and automatically updates the information table periodically. Thus, the first home gateway can determine the IP address of the second home gateway from the information table.
Optionally, the first home gateway uses the second IP address closest to the first IP address of the first home gateway as the second home gateway according to the IP address in the information table.
Finally, the first home gateway sends a first connection request to the IP address of the second home gateway, requesting to connect the remote management device. Specifically, the first home gateway sends a first connection request to the IP address of the second home gateway using the internet channel, where the format of the first connection request packet needs to be kept in a packet format adapted to the TR069 channel.
Optionally, when the first home gateway receives the error message replied by the second home gateway, reselecting the next home gateway in the information table, and sending a first connection request to the next home gateway.
302. The second home gateway forwards the first connection request to the remote management device.
Optionally, after receiving the first connection request sent by the first gateway, the second home gateway checks whether the remote management channel between itself and the remote management device can be normally connected. If the connection can be normally performed, the second home gateway replies to the first home gateway correctly; if the connection cannot be normally performed, the second home gateway replies an error to the first home gateway, so that the first home gateway can select the next home gateway in the information table in time and forward the first connection request.
Specifically, the second home gateway forwards the first connection request to the remote management device using its TR069 channel. Wherein the TR069 channel of the second home gateway itself, i.e. the remote management channel between the second home gateway and the remote management device.
303. The remote management device determines that communication with the first home gateway fails and sends a first operation instruction to the second home gateway.
The first operation instruction is used for indicating the first home gateway to execute the operation of returning to the source configuration, namely the operation of restoring the factory setting. The first operation instruction carries an identifier of the first home gateway.
Specifically, after receiving the first connection request sent by the second home gateway, the remote management device determines that the first connection request does not belong to the second home gateway through the identifier of the first home gateway in the first connection request, and then determines that the second home gateway is a proxy gateway. At this time, the remote management device initiates a reverse connection request to the first home gateway, and if the reverse connection is successful, the remote management device determines that the communication with the first home gateway is normal, and the first home gateway is not hijacked illegally. If the reverse connection fails, the remote management device determines that the first home gateway is illegally hijacked, opens a remote recovery mechanism and sends a first operation instruction to the second home gateway.
Further specifically, if the remote management device receives the reverse connection response of the first home gateway, it is determined that the reverse connection is successful. If the remote management device cannot connect to the first home gateway M consecutive times, determining that the reverse connection fails.
304. The second home gateway forwards the first operation instruction to the first home gateway.
Specifically, after the second home gateway receives the first operation instruction, according to the identification of the first home gateway in the first operation instruction, it is determined that the first operation instruction points to the first home gateway, and then the first operation instruction is forwarded to the first home gateway through the internet channel.
305. The first home gateway determines that the first operation instruction carries an identifier of the first home gateway, executes a return source configuration operation according to the configuration information of the first channel, and sends a second connection request to the remote management device.
The first channel is a remote management channel between the first home gateway and the remote management device. The second connection request is for requesting connection to the remote management device. Specifically, after returning to the source configuration, that is, after restoring the factory setting, the first home gateway sends a second connection request to the remote management device through its TR069 channel (first channel).
306. The remote management device sends a connection response to the first home gateway.
Specifically, when the remote management device receives the second connection request sent by the first home gateway, a connection response is sent to the first home gateway. At this time, the remote management device determines that the remote recovery of the first home gateway is successful, and closes the remote recovery mechanism.
Further specifically, the first home gateway receives a connection response sent by the remote management device, determines that the remote recovery is successful, and closes the remote recovery mechanism.
Further, when the first home gateway performs step 305, the first home gateway determines that the remote recovery fails when the second connection request is continuously transmitted K times, but the connection response replied by the remote management device is not received. At this time, the remote restoration method of the home gateway in the present application further includes the steps shown in fig. 4. Referring to fig. 4, the remote restoration method of the home gateway further includes the following steps.
401. The first home gateway again determines that the communication fails and sends an active upgrade request to the second home gateway.
The active upgrade request carries an identifier of the first home gateway, and is used for requesting a software upgrade package of the first home gateway.
Specifically, the first home gateway sends an active upgrade request to the second home gateway through the internet channel. The format of the active upgrade request message needs to be kept to be the message format suitable for the TR069 channel.
402. The second home gateway forwards the active upgrade request to the remote management device.
Specifically, the second home gateway forwards the active upgrade request to the remote management device through the TR069 channel.
403. The remote management device determines that the active upgrading request carries the identification of the first home gateway and sends a software upgrading packet to the second home gateway.
Specifically, after the remote management device receives the active upgrade request sent by the second home gateway, the remote management device determines that the active upgrade request does not belong to the second home gateway through the identifier of the first home gateway in the active upgrade request, and then determines that the second home gateway is a proxy gateway. At this time, the remote management apparatus transmits the software upgrade package of the first home gateway to the second home gateway.
404. The second home gateway replies a download completion response to the remote management device, receives a second operation instruction sent by the remote management device, and forwards the second operation instruction to the first home gateway.
Specifically, after receiving the software upgrade package sent by the remote management device, the second home gateway replies a download completion response to the remote management device. And after receiving the downloading completion response, the remote management equipment sends a second operation instruction to the second home gateway. The second operation instruction carries the identification of the first home gateway. In this way, the second home gateway determines that the second operation instruction points to the first home gateway according to the identification of the first home gateway in the second operation instruction, and forwards the second operation instruction to the first home gateway through the internet channel. The second operation instruction is used for indicating the first home gateway to execute software upgrading and restarting operations. Meanwhile, the second operation instruction indicates that the address of the first home gateway software upgrade is changed from the remote management device to the storage address of the second home gateway.
405. The first home gateway determines that the second operation instruction carries the identifier of the first home gateway and sends a software downloading request to the second home gateway.
Specifically, the first home gateway determines that the own software upgrade package should be acquired from the storage address of the second home gateway according to the identifier of the first home gateway and the address of the first home gateway software upgrade carried in the second operation instruction. The first home gateway sends a software download request to the second home gateway.
406. The second home gateway sends a software upgrade package to the first home gateway.
Specifically, after receiving the software download request sent by the first home gateway, the second home gateway sends a software upgrade package to the first home gateway.
407. And the first home gateway performs software upgrading and restarting, and sends a third connection request to the remote management equipment.
Specifically, after the first home gateway receives the software upgrade packet sent by the second home gateway, the first home gateway performs steps such as software upgrade and restarting, and sends a third connection request to the remote management device through its own TR069 channel.
408. The remote management device sends a connection response to the first home gateway.
