All other embodiments, based on the embodiments herein, which would be apparent to one of ordinary skill in the art without making any inventive effort, are intended to be within the scope of the present application.

It should be understood that the term "and/or" as used herein is merely one way of describing an association of associated objects, meaning that there may be three relationships, e.g., a and/or b, which may represent: the first and second cases exist separately, and the first and second cases exist separately. In addition, the character "/" herein generally indicates that the front and rear associated objects are an "or" relationship.
Before describing embodiments of the present application in detail, terms applied or likely to be applied to embodiments of the present application will be explained first.
The application program APP is simply called an application, and refers to various application programs installed on an electronic device, such as a video application program, a browser application program, and the like.
Protocol data units (Protocol Data Unit, PDUs) refer to data units transferred between peer layers. The PDU of the physical layer is a data bit, the PDU of the data link layer is a data frame, the PDU of the network layer is a data packet, the PDU of the transport layer is a data segment, and the PDUs of other higher layers are data.
The PDU Session is a granularity unit of a slice network in the fifth generation 5G mobile communication system.
The network slicing is a method for networking according to needs, and can enable operators to separate a plurality of virtual end-to-end networks on a unified infrastructure, and each network slicing is logically isolated from a wireless access network bearing network to a core network so as to adapt to various applications. In one network slice, the method can be divided into at least three parts of a wireless network sub-slice, a bearing network sub-slice and a core network sub-slice.
The User Equipment routing option policy (UE Route Selection Policy, urs) is one of the policy information provided by the 5G core network 5GC from the policy control function entity (Policy Control Function, PCF) to the User Equipment (UE). The UE uses this policy to determine how to route the data outbound path. It can be determined by the URs rule UR whether a detected application can be associated with an already established PDU session, whether it can be routed to a non-3GPP path outside the PDU session, or whether a new PDU session can be established. One important input data in the urs rules is parameters in the path descriptor (Traffic Descriptor, TD) that can be carried by the application when it initiates a network request. After the operating system obtains Traffic Descriptor parameters associated with the application program, and the UE obtains the urs rule list from the network, matches the corresponding routing descriptor RSD according to the rules evaluated by the urs, and then selects the data route according to the routing path indicated by the RSD parameters.
Currently, in the third generation partnership project (3rd Generation Partnership Project,3GPP) protocol, the user equipment routing option policy (UE Route Selection Policy, urs) is evaluated in the following manner: the associated path descriptor (Traffic Descriptor, TD) parameters are applied to match the TD parameters in the URSP rules, and the URSP rules that match successfully are determined to be target URSP rules. A corresponding routing path is then created for the application based on the routing descriptor (Route Selection Descriptor, RSD) in the target urs rule. However, how to configure the TD parameters of the application for the terminal is not explicitly specified at present.
In view of the above problems, the embodiments of the present application provide a method for configuring a path descriptor, in which a terminal only needs to obtain a correspondence between subscription parameters and TD parameters of at least one application, and can determine TD parameters of a target application according to subscription parameter information of the target application, so as to achieve the purpose of quickly determining TD parameters of the target application, and improve efficiency of configuring TD parameters by applications of the terminal, thereby improving establishment efficiency of PDU sessions of the target application. The following detailed description refers to the accompanying drawings.
Referring to fig. 1, a schematic diagram of a method for configuring a path descriptor according to an embodiment of the present application is provided. As shown in fig. 1, the method includes:
step S101, the terminal acquires subscription parameter information of the target application.
The subscription parameter information is parameter information used when the target application subscribes with an operator. The subscription parameter information includes the type of application, identification information of the application, or other inherent information of the application.
It should be noted that, when an operator signs up with different applications, the operator signs up in different manners. The parameter information used when the operator signs up with the application can be used as sign-up parameter information. The subscription parameter information may be a type of an application, or identification information of the application, or other inherent information of the application, etc., which is not limited in this application.
In this embodiment of the present application, after a target application in a terminal is started, if the target application needs to establish a 5G network connection, because in this embodiment of the present application, it is necessary to determine TD parameters of the target application according to subscription parameter information of the target application, the terminal needs to obtain subscription parameter information of the target application.
Further, the manner of the terminal obtaining the subscription parameter information of the target application includes any one of the following manners:
and the target application of the terminal transmits the signing parameter information of the target application to an operating system of the terminal through an interface. Or the terminal acquires the subscription parameter information of the target application from the network server side of the target application. Or configuring the signing parameter information of the target application in the file attribute of the signature protection of the APK of the target application, and acquiring the signing parameter information of the target application by analyzing the file attribute of the APK of the target application.
Specifically, when the terminal needs to acquire the subscription parameter information of the target application, the terminal can acquire the subscription parameter information through the target application. That is, the target application obtains the subscription parameter information of the target application in advance, for example, the target application may obtain the subscription parameter information of the target application from a configuration file or a storage medium of the target application. The subscription parameter information of the target can also be obtained from a server or an operator of the target application. After the target application obtains the subscription parameter information, the subscription parameter information can be transferred to the operating system through the interface.
It should be noted that different applications may correspond to different interfaces, and the applications may communicate with the operating system of the terminal device through the interfaces.
Or, when the terminal needs to acquire the subscription parameter information of the target application, the terminal can acquire the subscription parameter information through the network server side of the target application. That is, the terminal may send the acquisition message to the network server side of the target application, and the network server side of the target application sends the subscription parameter information of the target application to the terminal. Or the application server side periodically sends the subscription parameter information of the target application to the terminal. Of course, the terminal may also obtain the subscription parameter information of the target application from the network server side of the target application in other manners, which is not limited in this application.
Alternatively, the terminal may obtain from the configuration information of the target application. That is, the subscription parameter information of the target application is configured in the file attribute of signature protection of the APK of the target application. When the terminal needs to acquire the signing parameter information of the target application, the terminal can decrypt the encrypted file attribute of the target application through the signature, so that the signing parameter information can be acquired.
Of course, the terminal may also obtain the subscription parameter information of the target application by other manners, for example, the terminal may obtain the subscription parameter information of the target application from an operator subscribed to the target application, or may obtain the subscription parameter information of the target application by other manners, which is not limited in this application.
Step S102, the terminal acquires corresponding information between preset subscription parameters and TD parameters of at least one application.
In this embodiment of the present application, after signing an application, an operator may configure TD parameters for the application according to the signing parameters of the application. For example, the subscription parameter is the type of application. The application types comprise game types, video types, instant messaging types, communication types and the like. At this time, the application is signed up with the operator by the type of application. The operator may configure the corresponding TD parameters for the application according to the type of the application. Operators may configure the same TD parameter for the same type of application. For example, the operator configures TD parameter 1 for game type applications, the operator configures TD parameter 2 for video type applications, and the operator configures TD parameter 3 for instant messaging type applications. Based on the above, the operator may configure TD parameters for each application subscribed to the operator, and may form correspondence information between the subscription parameters and the TD parameters of at least one application subscribed to the operator. The terminal may obtain corresponding information between the subscription parameters and the TD parameters of at least one application formed in the operator, as shown in table 1 below, where the TD parameters configured by the operator for different applications are recorded in table 1.
TABLE 1
Application name TD parameters
Application 1 TD parameter 1
Application 2 TD parameter 2
Application 3 TD parameter 3
It should be noted that, table 1 only exemplarily lists the correspondence between a part of applications and the originating TD parameter, and the application subscribed by the operator may also include other applications, which is not limited in this application.
It should be noted that each operator may configure multiple TD parameters for one application.
Further, the mode of the terminal obtaining the corresponding information between the preset subscription parameter and the preset TD parameter of at least one application includes any one of the following modes:
and the target application of the terminal transmits the corresponding information between the signing parameter and the TD parameter of at least one application to an operating system of the terminal through an interface. Or, the operating system of the terminal presets the corresponding information between the signing parameters and the TD parameters of at least one application for different operators, the corresponding information between the signing parameters and the TD parameters of at least one application is stored in a SIM (subscriber identity Module) card, and the corresponding information between the signing parameters and the TD parameters of at least one application is obtained from the SIM card. Or acquiring corresponding information between the subscription parameters and the TD parameters of at least one application from an operator side.
Specifically, when acquiring corresponding information between preset subscription parameters and TD parameters of at least one application, the terminal can acquire the corresponding information through the target application. At this time, the target application may acquire, from an operator subscribed by the target application, corresponding information between the subscription parameter and the TD parameter of at least one application preset by the operator, and the target application may send, through the interface, the acquired corresponding information between the subscription parameter and the TD parameter of the at least one application to an operating system of the terminal.
Or after setting the corresponding information between the subscription parameters and the TD parameters of at least one application, different operators can send the corresponding information between the subscription parameters and the TD parameters of at least one application set respectively to the terminal. At this time, the terminal may store the received corresponding information between the subscription parameters and the TD parameters of at least one application set by different operators in the configuration file of the operating system. When the corresponding information between the subscription parameters and the TD parameters of the application needs to be acquired, the corresponding information between the subscription parameters and the TD parameters of at least one application of the operator currently used by the terminal can be directly acquired from the configuration file of the operating system.
It should be noted that, there are a plurality of operators, and the applications signed by each operator are not completely the same, so that the corresponding information between the signing parameters and the TD parameters of at least one application formed by each operator is also different, each operator may respectively transmit the corresponding information between the signing parameters and the TD parameters of at least one application formed by each operator to the terminal, and the terminal may store the corresponding information in the configuration file of the operating system. When the acquisition is needed, the corresponding information between the signing parameters and the TD parameters of at least one application configured by the operator can be acquired according to the operator corresponding to the target application currently.
The same application may be subscribed to multiple operators, and the TD parameters configured for that application may be different for each operator. For example, the WeChat application program signs three operators of mobile, communication and telecom at the same time, the TD parameter configured by the mobile operator for the WeChat application program is TD parameter 1, the TD parameter configured by the Unicom operator for the WeChat application program is TD parameter 2, and the TD parameter configured by the telecom operator for the WeChat application program is TD parameter 3. The TD parameter 1, the TD parameter 2 and the TD parameter 3 may be the same or different.
It should be noted that, when storing the corresponding information between the subscription parameters and the TD parameters of at least one application preset by different operators, the terminal may store the corresponding information in the configuration file of the operating system, so as to facilitate the direct acquisition of the operating system. It may also be stored in other storage media, as this application is not limited in this regard.
Or, as the SIM card has a storage function, the operator may preset corresponding information between the subscription parameters and the TD parameters of at least one application at the factory stage of the SIM card, and after the SIM is installed to the terminal, the operating system of the terminal may directly obtain the corresponding information between the subscription parameters and the TD parameters of at least one application in the SIM card. Because the SIM card mode supports the modes of offline installation and online updating, after presetting the corresponding information between the subscription parameters and the TD parameters of at least one application to the SIM card, operators can periodically update the corresponding information between the subscription parameters and the TD parameters of at least one application so as to ensure that the information is consistent with the application programs of the terminal.
Or the terminal can directly communicate with an operator signed with the currently used SIM card, and obtain corresponding information between the signing parameters and the TD parameters of at least one application from the operator.
It should be noted that, the terminal may also obtain the corresponding information between the subscription parameter and the TD parameter of at least one application by other manners, which is not limited in this application.
Further, when the corresponding information between the subscription parameters and the TD parameters of the at least one application is stored in the SIM card, the operator updates the corresponding information between the subscription parameters and the TD parameters of the at least one application stored in the SIM card through an OTA (Over-the-Air Technology) service.
In this way, the operator can update the corresponding information between the subscription parameters and the TD parameters of at least one application in the SIM card when the terminal needs to update the corresponding information between the subscription parameters and the TD parameters of at least one application, thereby realizing personalized pushing based on the user requirements of the terminal side, and having stronger flexibility.
Step S103, the terminal determines the TD parameter of the target application according to the subscription parameter information of the target application and the corresponding information between the subscription parameter and the TD parameter of at least one application.
In this embodiment of the present application, after obtaining the subscription parameter information of the target application, the corresponding information between the subscription parameter of at least one application and the TD parameter of the path descriptor, the terminal may search the corresponding information between the subscription parameter of at least one application and the TD parameter of the path descriptor according to the subscription parameter information of the target application, and find the TD parameter of the target application in the corresponding information.
If there are TD parameters corresponding to a plurality of target applications in the corresponding information between the subscription parameters and the TD parameters of the path descriptor of at least one application, the terminal may obtain the TD parameters of the plurality of target applications. At this time, the terminal may determine the TD parameter of one target application from the TD parameters of the multiple target applications, as the TD parameter used for establishing the PDU session. The terminal may optionally select one of the TD parameters of the multiple target applications, or may use the TD parameter with high priority as the TD parameter used for establishing the PDU session according to the priority of the TD parameter of each target application. At this time, the priority of each TD parameter corresponding to the target application needs to be preset. Of course, the TD parameter used to establish the PDU session may also be selected in other manners, which is not limited in this application.
Further, the TD parameters include at least one of: APP ID (Application Identity Document, application identity), OS ID (Operating System Identity Document, operating system identity), DNN (Data Network Name ), IP (Internet Protocol, internet protocol) triplets, domain Descriptor (Domain Descriptor), non-internet protocol Descriptor (non-IP Descriptor), connectivity capability (Connection Capabilities).
It should be noted that the TD parameter may also include other parameters, which are not limited in this application.
Referring to fig. 2, a flowchart of another method for configuring a path descriptor according to an embodiment of the present application is shown. This embodiment adds to the procedure of PDU session establishment described above with respect to the embodiment shown in fig. 1, as shown in fig. 2, the method includes:
step S201, the target application sends a network connection request to an operating system of the terminal.
In this embodiment of the present application, after the target application is started, if a 5G connection is to be established between the target application and the network device, the target application needs to send a network connection request message to an operating system of the terminal.
Step S202, the terminal acquires subscription parameter information of the target application.
Specifically, after receiving the network connection request of the target application, the operating system of the terminal may acquire the subscription parameter information of the target application, where how the operating system of the terminal acquires the subscription parameter information of the target application may refer to step S101, which is not described herein.
Step 203, the terminal obtains corresponding information between preset subscription parameters and TD parameters of at least one application.
Specifically, reference may be made to step S102, which is not described herein.
Step S204, the terminal determines the TD parameter of the target application according to the subscription parameter information of the target application and the corresponding information between the subscription parameter and the TD parameter of at least one application.
Specifically, reference may be made to step S103, which is not described herein.
Step S205, the terminal determines a target URSP rule matched with the TD parameter of the target application in the URSP rules according to the TD parameter of the target application.
In the embodiment of the application, the terminal may acquire the urs rule from the network side, and after determining the TD parameter of the target application, may match the TD parameter with the TD parameter in the urs rule, and determine the urs rule with the TD parameter in the urs rule matched with the TD parameter of the target application as the target urs rule.
It should be noted that the urs rules acquired by the terminal are urs rules corresponding to the operators currently serving the terminal. In the embodiment of the present application, the operator in communication with the terminal is the operator currently serving it. For example, when the operator currently serving the terminal is a mobile operator, the terminal communicates with the mobile operator to obtain the required relevant parameter information.
Step S206, the terminal establishes the protocol data unit PDU session of the target application according to the target URSP rule.
In the embodiment of the application, after determining the target urs p rule, the terminal establishes a PDU session of the target application according to RSD parameters in the target urs p rule, for example, multiplexes the established PDU session, or establishes a new PDU session, so as to access to the designated network slice.
By way of example, assuming that the target application is application a, the operator currently serving the terminal is operator 1. And an application a and an operating system are operated in the terminal. As shown in fig. 3, the application a signs up with the operator 1 by means of application type. After the operator 1 signs up with the application a, the TD parameter is configured for the application a, and it is assumed that the TD parameter configured for the application a by the operator 1 is TD parameter 1. The application a sends a network connection request message to the operating system after starting. After receiving the network connection request message, the operating system can acquire the identification information of the application a through the network connection request message. And the operating system acquires the subscription parameter information of the application a according to the identification information of the application a. I.e. the application type of application a. The operating system may obtain application a application type information from application a. The operating system obtains the corresponding information of the application signed by the operator 1 and the TD parameter. The operating system may obtain the corresponding information in its configuration file, or from within the SIM card, or from the operator 1. After the operating system obtains the corresponding information of the application and the TD parameter, one item matched with the application type of the application a in the corresponding information can be searched, and the TD parameter 1 corresponding to the application a is determined from the matched item. The operation system searches URSP rules acquired from the network side according to the TD parameter 1 corresponding to the application a, and searches the URSP rules matched with the TD parameter 1 in the URSP rules, wherein the matched URSP rules are target URSP rules. The operating system may establish a PDU session for application a based on RSD parameters in the target urs rules, etc.
In the method, the terminal only needs to acquire the corresponding relation between the preset subscription parameters of at least one application and the TD parameters, so that the TD parameters of the target application can be determined according to the subscription parameter information of the target application, the purpose of rapidly determining the TD parameters of the target application is achieved, the efficiency of configuring the TD parameters by the application of the terminal is improved, and the establishment efficiency of PDU session of the target application is improved.
Fig. 4 is a schematic structural diagram of a configuration device of a path descriptor according to an embodiment of the present application. As shown in fig. 4, the apparatus includes:
