Detailed Description
First embodiment
The first embodiment will be explained. The outdoor unit 10 of the air conditioner of the present embodiment (hereinafter, also simply referred to as the outdoor unit 10) constitutes an air conditioner that air-conditions a target space together with an indoor unit (not shown). Hereinafter, first, the outdoor unit system 1 including the plurality of outdoor units 10 will be described, and then, the outdoor units 10 will be described.
-outdoor unit system-
As shown in fig. 1, the outdoor unit system 1 includes a plurality of (four in this example) outdoor units 10 of air conditioners. Each outdoor unit 10 has an antenna 40 for communicating with the base station 2. Each outdoor unit 10 transmits and receives radio waves via an antenna 40, thereby performing data communication with the base station 2. The outdoor unit system 1 is configured such that: hopping (hopping) communication via the antenna 40 can be performed between the plurality of outdoor units 10.
Outdoor unit of air-conditioning apparatus
Fig. 2A is a plan view of the outdoor unit 10. Fig. 2B is a front view of the outdoor unit 10. As shown in fig. 2A and 2B, the outdoor unit 10 includes a casing 20, an outdoor fan 30, and an antenna 40.
The housing 20 is formed in a substantially hollow rectangular parallelepiped shape. The cabinet 20 has a cabinet main body 21 and a fan shroud 23. The cabinet main body 21 houses the outdoor fan 30. A blow-out opening 22 is formed in an upper surface 20a of the casing main body 21 (in other words, the upper surface 20a of the casing 20). A fan shroud 23 is mounted on the blowout opening 22. The fan shroud 23 covers the outdoor fan 30.
The housing 20 has a plurality of (in this example four) sides. An access door 24 is provided on the front side surface. An electronic component box 25 for housing electronic components is housed on the rear surface side of the access door 24. Note that a side surface (a front side surface) closest to the electronic component box 25 is defined as a first side surface 20b, and a side surface (a back side surface) opposite to the first side surface 20b is defined as a second side surface 20 c.
The outdoor fan 30 is a blower for generating an air flow through the inside of the cabinet 20. One outdoor fan 30 is provided in the cabinet 20 at each of left and right sides of the upper portion. The outdoor fan 30 generates an air flow that flows into the casing 20 from the side surface of the casing 20 and flows out from the outlet opening 22 through a heat exchanger not shown.
The antenna 40 is a means for communicating with the base station 2. The antenna (40) is provided on the upper surface (20a) of the housing (20) at a position that is distant from the outlet opening (22) in a plan view. Specifically, the antenna 40 is mounted on a corner portion on the left side (lower left side in fig. 2A) of the left fan shroud 23 near the front. As described above, the antenna 40 is arranged such that the distance between the antenna 40 and the second side 20c of the housing 20 is longer than the distance between the antenna 40 and the first side 20 b.
As shown in fig. 3, each antenna 40 is movable between a protruding position (a position indicated by a solid line in fig. 3) and a housing position (a position indicated by a two-dot chain line in fig. 3). The protruding position is a position where most (for example, 9 or more) of the antenna 40 protrudes from the upper surface 20a of the housing 20. The storage position is a position where all or most (for example, 9 or more) of the antenna 40 is stored in the housing 20. Therefore, a housing hole (not shown) for housing the antenna 40 in a vertically slidable manner is formed in the housing main body 21.
Effects of the first embodiment
The outdoor unit 10 of the air conditioning apparatus of the present embodiment includes: a casing 20 having a blow-out opening 22 formed on an upper surface 20 a; an outdoor fan 30 housed in the casing 20; and an antenna 40 provided on the housing 20 and used for communication with the base station 2, the antenna 40 being provided at a position away from the blowout opening 22 in the upper surface 20a of the housing 20 in a plan view. As described above, since the antenna 40 is provided on the upper surface of the outdoor unit 10, high-quality communication with the base station 2 can be performed. Further, since the antenna 40 is provided at a position distant from the outlet opening 22 in a plan view, it is less likely to be affected by the outlet air, and communication quality is less likely to be impaired.
In the outdoor unit 10 of the air conditioner of the present embodiment, the antenna 40 is movable between a protruding position where the antenna 40 protrudes from the upper surface 20a of the casing 20 and a storage position where the antenna 40 is stored in the casing 20. Therefore, high-quality communication can be performed between the outdoor unit 10 and the base station 2 via the antenna 40 located at the protruding position. On the other hand, when the outdoor unit 10 is transported, the antenna 40 is moved to the storage position, whereby damage to the antenna 40 can be avoided.
The outdoor unit 10 of the air conditioning apparatus according to the present embodiment includes the electronic component box 25 that is housed in the casing 20 and houses electronic components, and when a side surface closest to the electronic component box 25 among a plurality of side surfaces of the casing 20 is a first side surface 20b, and a side surface opposite to the first side surface 20b is a second side surface 20c, the antenna 40 is disposed such that a distance between the antenna 40 and the second side surface 20c is longer than a distance between the antenna 40 and the first side surface 20 b. Therefore, the wiring provided between the electronic component box 25 and the antenna 40 can be shortened as compared with the case where the antenna 40 is arranged such that the distance between the antenna 40 and the first side surface 20b is larger than the distance between the antenna 40 and the second side surface 20 c. Therefore, the wiring and other components can be easily provided.
The outdoor unit system 1 of the present embodiment includes a plurality of outdoor units 10 of the air-conditioning apparatus, and the outdoor unit system 1 is configured such that: the skip communication via the antenna 40 can be performed between the outdoor units 10 of the air conditioners. Therefore, when it is difficult for any outdoor unit 10 of the plurality of outdoor units 10 to directly communicate with the base station 2, the outdoor unit 10 can indirectly communicate with the base station 2 via another outdoor unit 10 having a good communication state with the base station 2.
Modification of the first embodiment
A modification of the first embodiment will be described. The configuration of the antenna 40 of the outdoor unit 10 of the present modification is different from that of the first embodiment. Hereinafter, differences from the first embodiment will be mainly described.
As shown in fig. 4, the antenna 40 is rotatably mounted on the housing main body 21 and is movable between a protruding position (a position indicated by a solid line in fig. 4) and a housing position (a position indicated by a two-dot chain line in fig. 4) by a rotating operation.
Second embodiment
A second embodiment will be explained. The configuration and the like of the antenna 40 of the outdoor unit 10 of the present embodiment are different from those of the first embodiment. Hereinafter, differences from the first embodiment will be mainly described.
As shown in fig. 5, the antenna 40 can be mounted on the housing 20, and the antenna 40 can be detached from the housing 20. Fig. 5 shows the antenna 40 in a state of being removed from the chassis 20.
As schematically shown in fig. 6, the outdoor unit 10 includes a communication unit 50 and a control unit 60.
The communication unit 50 includes a transmission/reception circuit 51 and a data line 52 electrically connecting the transmission/reception circuit 51 and the control unit 60. The transceiver circuit 51 is a circuit for transmitting and receiving signals via the antenna 40. The transceiver circuit 51 is integrated with the antenna 40.
The control unit 60 is a functional unit for controlling operations of the respective parts of the outdoor unit 10. The control unit 60 is configured by a CPU, a memory, and the like, and is housed in the electronic component box 25. The control unit 60 transmits and receives data signals to and from the antenna 40 via the data line 52.
Effects of the second embodiment
According to the outdoor unit 10 of the air conditioning apparatus of the present embodiment, the same effects as those of the first embodiment can be obtained.
In the outdoor unit 10 of the air conditioner of the present embodiment, the antenna 40 is detachably attached to the casing 20. Therefore, the antenna 40 can be detached from the housing 20 and placed at an arbitrary position for use.
The outdoor unit 10 of the air conditioner of the present embodiment includes a transmission/reception circuit 51 for transmitting and receiving signals via the antenna 40, and the antenna 40 is integrated with the transmission/reception circuit 51. As described above, since the antenna 40 and the transmission/reception circuit 51 are integrated, the distance between the two can be shortened. This can suppress signal attenuation between the antenna 40 and the transmission/reception circuit 51. This is particularly advantageous in the case where the antenna 40 is detached from the housing 20 and disposed at an arbitrary position.
Other embodiments
The above embodiment may also adopt the following configuration.
For example, the antenna 40 may be provided at a position on the upper surface 20a of the housing 20 that is distant from the outlet opening 22 in a plan view, or may be provided at any position different from the positions in the above embodiments.
For example, the antenna 40 may be mounted on the casing main body 21 instead of the fan shroud 23. In this case, it is preferably in a shape in which a portion of the fan shroud 23 is cut away so as not to interfere with the antenna 40.
The embodiments and modifications have been described above, but it is understood that various changes and modifications can be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the claims. The above embodiments and modifications may be combined or substituted as appropriate as long as the functions of the objects of the present disclosure are not affected.
