Background
In computer video display applications, when a plurality of station screen display scenes at different positions are encountered, the display content on a screen of a remote display is required to be the same as that on a screen of a local display of a computer, and a duplicate display mode is often adopted. The video loop-out device not only provides a path of display signal for the display of the local display, but also provides a path of VGA signal with the same picture content for the remote display as input.
The method used by the current video loop-out device is to distribute the input computer video signals first and then to gate one path of the multi-path video signals for output. If the input is analog VGA video signal, an analog operational amplifier is generally adopted to distribute two paths of signals, wherein one path of signal is input to a VGA port of a main board of a local display, and the other path of signal is output to a video gate. If the input is DVI/HDMI digital video signal, the video decoder is adopted to convert the digital video signal into parallel code, the parallel code is redistributed into two paths, one path of the parallel code is recoded into DVI/HDMI signal for the digital video encoder and is input into a DVI/HDMI port of the local display mainboard, and the other path of the parallel code is converted into analog signal through the D/A converter and is output to the video gate. The method basically meets the requirements of local video display and video loop-out functions of computers in VGA and DVI/HDMI display formats, but has the disadvantages of complex signal processing flow, separate processing of analog video and digital video input, low integration level and easy analog signal distortion and poor digital signal integrity.
