Description

Rubber composition, single-component dealcoholized silicone rubber and preparation method thereof
Technical Field
The invention relates to the field of silicone rubber, in particular to a rubber composition, single-component dealcoholized silicone rubber and a preparation method thereof.
Background
The silicon rubber is special rubber with silicon-oxygen alternately bonded chain links as main chains and other organic groups as side chains. Because the silicon-oxygen chain has high bond energy, large bond angle and long bond length, the silicon-oxygen chain has excellent ultraviolet resistance, weather resistance, temperature resistance and other performances. Silicone rubber is generally usable for a long period of time at 200 ℃, but once the temperature exceeds 250 ℃, it rapidly embrittles and cracks, loses elasticity and loses functionality. The room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber has excellent performance of solidification without heating, is particularly single-component, is more convenient to use, and has wide application in the industries of new energy, household appliances, electronic appliances, aerospace, automobiles and the like. According to the small molecules released by curing, room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber is classified into deacidification, deamination, dealcoholization, ketoxime removal, acetone removal, lactic acid removal and the like. The dealcoholization is popular in some industries, especially household appliances, electronics and other industries, due to the excellent characteristics of environmental protection, high cost performance, no corrosion and the like.
However, the one-component dealcoholization has disadvantages of short shelf life and relatively poor temperature resistance compared to other types, and thus is limited in some high temperature resistant applications. In the prior art, a large number of patents and documents disclose means for improving the high temperature resistance of rubber. Such as CN103275491, which discloses a synthetic heat-resistant additive, but is complicated in process, high in cost, and is not mentioned as being applicable to one-component dealcoholized silicone rubber. Such as CN105503930, which discloses a soluble metal complex synthesis, although it can be used to improve the high temperature resistance of silicone rubber, it is necessary to synthesize polymers in advance and the synthesis time is long. Further, as in Song Yuanzhou et al, the use of silane treated metal oxides improves the temperature resistance of phenyl silicone rubber, but this method requires pretreatment of the metal oxides, is relatively complex in process, and involves only phenyl silicone rubber.
At present, the most common and most economical way is to add certain metal oxides to the one-component dealcoholized silicone rubber to improve its temperature resistance, such as CN106833505a. However, the metal oxide needs to be micro-scale or nano-scale to achieve the effect of improving the temperature resistance, and the surface of the metal oxide is provided with a plurality of active hydroxyl and other polar groups, so that the metal oxide has poor compatibility with the silicon rubber and influences the storage stability. Although the surface treatment can be carried out on the metal oxide, the customization treatment is needed to meet specific requirements, so that the process cost is high, the process is complex, and the industrial and marketable application cannot be realized.
In summary, the single-component dealcoholized silicone rubber in the prior art cannot simultaneously give consideration to high temperature resistance and storage stability. Therefore, it is necessary to provide a single-component dealcoholized silicone rubber, which can simultaneously give consideration to high temperature resistance and storage stability, and has the advantages of simpler and easier preparation process, lower cost and better industrial application.

Detailed Description
It should be noted that, in the case of no conflict, the embodiments and features in the embodiments may be combined with each other. The present invention will be described in detail with reference to examples.
As described in the background section, the prior art has the problem that the single-component dealcoholized silicone rubber cannot simultaneously achieve high temperature resistance and storage stability. In order to solve this problem, the present invention provides a rubber composition comprising a silazane compound containing an alkoxy group, a metal oxide and a hydroxyl-terminated polydimethylsiloxane.
Compared with the prior rubber composition, the invention creatively introduces the component of the silazane compound containing alkoxy into the rubber composition, so as to carry out alkoxy end-capping treatment on the hydroxy end-capped polydimethylsiloxane while carrying out surface treatment on the metal oxide. Based on the dual synergistic effect, the rubber composition disclosed by the invention has better processability, and the single-component dealcoholized silicone rubber can be prepared only by simple process operation in the follow-up process. In particular, the single-component dealcoholized silicone rubber prepared later has better high-temperature resistance and better storage stability.
Specifically, on the one hand, the metal oxide can be subjected to surface treatment by using the silazane compound containing alkoxy groups to eliminate the surface active hydroxyl groups of the metal oxide and improve the compatibility with the silicone rubber. Meanwhile, the surface of the metal oxide after surface treatment has active alkoxy, and the metal oxide can react into a silicon rubber matrix in the subsequent curing process, so that the high temperature resistance of the material is further improved. On the other hand, alkoxy-capping of a hydroxyl-terminated polydimethylsiloxane with an alkoxy-containing silazane compound can produce an alkoxy-terminated polymer, thereby improving the processability of the rubber composition and the stability of the one-component dealcoholized silicone rubber. In addition, the reactivity of the alkoxy-containing nitrogen silane may be higher than that of the alkoxy group alone, or other compounds containing an alkoxy group. In the preparation process, the silane compound containing alkoxy can react the hydroxyl on the hydroxyl-terminated polydimethylsiloxane, so that the problem of poor material performance caused by the phenomenon of viscosity increase is avoided due to the fact that the silane compound slowly reacts in the later storage process.
In order to further balance the excellent high temperature resistance and storage stability of the one-component dealcoholized silicone rubber, the rubber composition comprises, by weight, 100 parts of hydroxyl-terminated polydimethylsiloxane, 0.1 to 5 parts of an alkoxy-containing silazane compound, and 1 to 10 parts of a metal oxide. In some alternative embodiments, the rubber composition comprises, in parts by weight, 100 parts by weight of a hydroxyl-terminated polydimethylsiloxane, 1 part of an alkoxy-containing silazane compound, and 5 parts of a metal oxide; alternatively, the rubber composition comprises 100 parts by weight of a hydroxyl-terminated polydimethylsiloxane, 0.5 parts of an alkoxy-containing silazane compound, and 5 parts of a metal oxide; alternatively, the rubber composition comprises 100 parts by weight of a hydroxyl-terminated polydimethylsiloxane, 2 parts of an alkoxy-containing silazane compound, and 5 parts of a metal oxide; alternatively, the rubber composition comprises 100 parts by weight of a hydroxyl-terminated polydimethylsiloxane, 0.1 part of an alkoxy-containing silazane compound, and 5 parts of a metal oxide; alternatively, the rubber composition includes 100 parts by weight of a hydroxyl-terminated polydimethylsiloxane, 5 parts of an alkoxy-containing silazane compound, and 5 parts of a metal oxide.
In order to further improve the high temperature resistance and storage stability of the one-component dealcoholized silicone rubber, it is preferable that R represents methyl, ethyl or propyl in the silazane compound containing an alkoxy group, and it is further preferable that the silazane compound containing an alkoxy group is selected from tetramethyldi (trimethoxysilylethyl) disilazane and/or tetramethyldi (triethoxysilylethyl) disilazane.

And then transferring all reactants into a pressure reducing device, removing unreacted excess trimethoxysilane or triethoxysilane under reduced pressure, and obtaining residues which are tetramethyl di (trimethoxysilylethyl) disilazane (corresponding to dropwise trimethoxysilane) or tetramethyl di (triethoxysilylethyl) disilazane (corresponding to dropwise triethoxysilane). The synthetic route is shown below (R represents methyl or ethyl):

Based on this, the processability of the composition is better, and the excellent properties of each component in the composition are more uniformly and more stably maintained when the one-component dealcoholized silicone rubber is subsequently prepared.
In a preferred embodiment, the rubber composition further comprises one or more of a filler, a plasticizer, a silane coupling agent, and a catalyst. The filler is added, and the single-component dealcoholized silicone rubber has better strength on the basis of simultaneously considering high temperature resistance, namely storage stability, so that the rubber material has better processability, and the product has good wear resistance, tear resistance, heat resistance, cold resistance, oil resistance and other properties. The plasticizer is added to reduce the acting force among the molecules of the product, thereby reducing the vitrification temperature of the product, increasing the plasticity and the fluidity of the product and being convenient for molding. The silane coupling agent is added to further improve the mechanical property, heat resistance, water resistance and weather resistance of the product. The catalyst can be added to further improve the preparation efficiency of the product.

In a preferred embodiment, the plasticizer is methyl silicone oil; the filler is one or more of hydrophobic fumed silica, calcium carbonate, silica micropowder, aluminum oxide or aluminum hydroxide; the silane coupling agent is selected from one or more of methyltrimethoxysilane, aminoethylaminopropyl trimethoxysilane, amino trimethoxysilane, acryloxytrimethoxysilane, epoxypropyl trimethoxysilane or tetrabutyl titanate; the catalyst is selected from titanium ethyl diisopropoxy diacetoacetate and/or dibutyltin dilaurate.
According to another aspect of the present invention, there is also provided a one-component dealcoholized silicone rubber which is obtained by blending the above-mentioned rubber composition.
Based on the reasons, the single-component dealcoholized silicone rubber can simultaneously give consideration to better high temperature resistance and storage stability, has simpler preparation process and lower cost, and is easier for industrial production and commercial application.

In the second blending treatment process, the temperature is 30-40 ℃, the vacuum degree is 0.08-0.09 MPa, the stirring speed is 200-400 rpm, and the stirring time is 20-40 min.
Preferably, in the transition process of reducing the temperature of the first blending treatment to the temperature of the second blending treatment in the reaction kettle, the cooling rate is 3-10 ℃/min, and the cooling time is 10-20 min. Based on this, the transition from the first blending process condition to the second blending process is smoother, and the above-described excellent property uniformity of the article is better.
