and the decorative strip is embedded in the embedding groove.
2. The end cap assembly of claim 1, wherein the decorative strip defines a detent on a side of the channel facing the channel, and a detent projection is raised from a bottom of the channel to engage the detent.
3. The end cap assembly of claim 2 wherein the detent tapers in width from the notch toward the slot bottom and the detent projection abuts the slot wall of the detent.
4. The end cap assembly of claim 3 wherein said trim strip includes two angularly connected decorative portions, said decorative portions enclosing said positioning slot, said positioning tab spreading said decorative portions apart.
5. The end cap assembly of claim 4 wherein said trim strip includes a clip section and a flattened section, said trim portions forming said clip section, said flattened section being connected to at least one end of said clip section in the direction of extension.
6. The end cap assembly of claim 5, wherein the flat section has an anti-warping hook at an end thereof, and the inner wall of the insertion groove has an anti-warping hole adapted to the anti-warping hook.
7. The end cap assembly of claim 5 wherein the ends of the flattened section are spaced from the outer surface of the barrier strip by no less than 0.5mm and no more than 1.5 mm.
8. The end cap assembly of claim 1, wherein a side of the trim strip adjacent to the recessed channel is provided with a locking rib, and a wall of the recessed channel is provided with a first locking hole adapted to the locking rib.
9. An end cap assembly according to claim 1 wherein said end cap is removably attached to said trim panel.
10. The end cap assembly of claim 9 wherein said trim panel snaps into engagement with said trim panel.
11. The end cap assembly of claim 9, wherein the side edges of the decorative plate are provided with anti-warping pins, and the end cap is provided with anti-warping grooves adapted to the anti-warping pins.
12. An end cap assembly according to claim 1 wherein the central portion of the end plate is recessed away from the panel to form a reinforcement.
13. The end cap assembly of claim 12, wherein the end plate defines a plurality of slots spaced circumferentially around the reinforcement portion, and the trim plate defines a plurality of first tabs respectively engaging the plurality of slots, the engagement surface of each first tab facing the reinforcement portion.
14. A face frame assembly, comprising:
a face frame; and the number of the first and second groups,
the end cap assembly of any one of claims 1 to 13, mounted to an end of the face frame.
15. The face frame assembly of claim 14, wherein the face frame includes side panels at the ends, the sides of the side panels are turned inward to form flaps, the flaps include bottom flaps connected to the bottom of the side panels, the sides of the end caps are turned inward to form flaps, the flaps include bottom flaps connected to the bottom of the end caps, the flap covers are disposed on the outer surfaces of the flaps, and the front ends of the bottom flaps are turned backward and snap-fit to the front ends of the bottom flaps.
16. The face frame assembly of claim 15, wherein the flange includes a front flange connected to a front end of the side plate, a second clamping hole being formed at a lower end of the front flange; the flanging comprises a front flanging connected to the front end of the end cover, and a second buckle matched with the second clamping hole is arranged at the lower end of the front flanging.
17. The face frame assembly of claim 14, wherein the face frame includes a side plate at an end, the side plate defines a third engaging hole, the end cap defines a third engaging hole, and a third engaging portion is disposed on the end cap, the inner surface of the side plate protrudes from an inner end of the third engaging portion.
18. An indoor unit of an air conditioner, comprising the face frame assembly according to any one of claims 14 to 17.
