Detailed Description
The technical solutions in the embodiments of the present invention are clearly and completely described below, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are only a part of the embodiments of the present invention, and not all embodiments.
A fire retardant for fibers comprises the following components in percentage by mass: 4-15% of quaternary ammonium salt, 3-12% of magnesium oxide, 20-35% of urea, 10-30% of aluminum oxide and the balance of water.
The preferred scheme of the quaternary ammonium salt, the magnesium oxide and the aluminum oxide in the fire retardant is nano-scale.
A process for making a fire repellent fiber comprising the steps of:
s1, preparing a fire retardant, and adding the following components in percentage by mass into a container: 4-15% of quaternary ammonium salt, 3-12% of magnesium oxide, 20-35% of urea, 10-30% of aluminum oxide and the balance of water, and uniformly stirring to obtain a fire repellent;
and S2, soaking the fiber for not less than 10 minutes by using a fire-repellent agent, and drying to obtain the fire-repellent fiber.
The application objects of the process are paper, short fibers, cotton cloth or long fibers.
Example 1
A process for making fire-resistant staple fibers comprising the steps of:
s1, preparing a fire retardant, namely adding 40g of quaternary ammonium salt, 30g of magnesium oxide, 350g of urea, 300g of aluminum oxide and 280g of water into a container, and uniformly stirring to obtain 1kg of the fire retardant;
and S2, soaking the short fibers for 10 minutes by using a fire-repellent agent, and then drying to obtain the fire-repellent short fibers.
Example 2
A manufacturing process of fire-resistant cotton cloth comprises the following steps:
s1, preparing a fire retardant, namely adding 150g of quaternary ammonium salt, 120g of magnesium oxide, 200g of urea, 100g of aluminum oxide and 430g of water into a container, and uniformly stirring to obtain 1kg of the fire retardant;
and S2, soaking the cotton cloth in a fire repellent for 15 minutes, and drying to obtain the fire repellent cotton cloth.
Example 3

and S2, soaking the long fiber for 20 minutes by using a fire-repellent agent, and drying to obtain the fire-repellent fiber.
The fire-fighting principle of the invention is as follows: the urea in the fire-resisting agent can be used for resolving grease in the fibre, after the grease of the fibre is resolved, the nano-grade quaternary ammonium salt, magnesium oxide and aluminium oxide can be formed and attached to the surface of the fibre and bonded with the fibre to form modified fibre, when the flame is contacted with the fibre, the molecular structure modified particles can form a layer of firm fire-resisting layer and can quickly radiate heat, and the heated fibre can form a carbonized layer, and said structure can prevent flame from being delayed, and when the flame is combusted, at the same time can produce nitrogen gas, water gas, inert gas and carbon dioxide, etc. to cover the burnt material so as to attain the fire-resisting function.
The main component quaternary ammonium salt of the fire retardant has hydrophilic property and can be tightly bonded with the fiber.
In order to verify the effect of the fire-repellent, 100ml of the fire-repellent prepared by the above process was soaked in water to a thickness of 1.5mm and an area of 0.5m2The skin of the cola B is tested for 10 minutes, and the obtained skin of the cola B is subjected to combustion performance grade test.
The detection basis is as follows: JT/T1095 and 2016 flame retardant property of interior materials of passenger cars.
