Abstract
The disclosure provides a method, a charging gateway and a system for distinguishing charging bills, and relates to the field of mobile internet. A charging gateway receives a charging request message sent by a session management function network element; the charging gateway forwards the charging request message to a target charging function network element through a service communication proxy; the charging gateway receives a charging response message returned by the target charging function network element, wherein the charging response message carries the address information of the target charging function network element; the charging gateway matches the address information of the local charging function network element with the address information of the target charging function network element; if the matching is successful, the charging gateway judges the charging ticket corresponding to the charging request message as the local user charging ticket, and if the matching is not successful, the charging gateway judges the charging ticket corresponding to the charging request message as the roaming user charging ticket. Therefore, the influence on the performance of the charging gateway and the maintenance difficulty are greatly reduced.
Description
Technical Field
The present disclosure relates to the field of mobile internet, and in particular, to a method, a charging gateway, and a system for distinguishing charging tickets.
Background
The core network deployment of 5G (5th generation, fifth generation) mobile communication SA (stand alone) continues the scheme that 4G (4th generation, fourth generation) mobile communication deploys CG (charging gateway) in the core network. And the CG generates a charging ticket according to the using flow condition of the user, such as the information of the user access place, time and the like, and is used for charging, settlement and the like.
The 5G SA puts new requirements on CG: the function that the charging bill of the provincial user and the charging bill of the roaming user can not be stored in different catalogs respectively according to the user information due to the performance bottleneck of the 4G core network CG is realized.
The scheme for distinguishing the charging bill of the province/roaming user at present is as follows: according to the SUPI (user Permanent Identifier) of the user in the charging ticket, whether the user belongs to the charging ticket of the provincial user is judged by matching the SUPI number section of the provincial preset on the CG. If it is, storing the charging bill in the list of the provincial charging bill, otherwise, if it is not, storing the charging bill in the list of the roaming charging bill.
The inventor finds that the SUPI section of the province pre-configured on the CG has thousands of records, and the user SUPI in each charging ticket needs to be matched with the records in the SUPI section of the province one by one, so that a large part of processing capacity of the CG is occupied, and the performance of the CG is influenced. Moreover, the configuration and the updating of the SUPI section in the province on the CG need manual maintenance, and the SUPI section in the province can be updated every month or every quarter, so that the maintenance is very complicated.
Disclosure of Invention
One technical problem to be solved by the embodiments of the present disclosure is: when the charging bills of the province/roaming users are distinguished, the influence on the performance of the charging gateway and the maintenance difficulty are reduced.
In the embodiment of the disclosure, the charging gateway receives a charging response message returned by the target charging function network element, wherein the charging response message carries address information of the target charging function network element, and determines that the charging response message is a local user charging ticket or a roaming user charging ticket by matching the address information of the local charging function network element with the address information of the target charging function network element. Since the number of the local charging function network elements is far smaller than the number of the local SUPI number segments, for example, the number of the local charging function network elements is several, and the number of the local SUPI number segments is thousands, the influence on the performance of the charging gateway and the maintenance difficulty are greatly reduced.

Detailed Description
The technical solutions in the embodiments of the present disclosure will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present disclosure.
Fig. 1 is a flowchart illustrating a method for distinguishing charging tickets according to some embodiments of the disclosure.
As shown in fig. 1, the method of this embodiment includes:
in step 110, a Charging Gateway (CG) receives a charging request message sent by an SMF (Session Management Function) network element for charging a user.
In step 120, the CHarging gateway CG forwards a CHarging request message, which carries the SUPI (subscriber Permanent Identifier) of the user, to a target CHF (CHarging Function) network element through an SCP (Service Communication Proxy).
The charging gateway CG forwards the charging request message to a service communication proxy SCP, so that the service communication proxy SCP matches the user permanent identifier SUPI carried by the charging request message with the local user permanent identifier SUPI number field, if the matching result shows that the user is a local user, the charging request message is forwarded to a local charging function CHF network element, if the matching result shows that the user is a roaming user, the charging request message is forwarded to the charging function CHF network element to which the user permanent identifier SUPI belongs.
In step 130, the charging gateway CG receives a charging response message returned by the target charging function CHF network element, where the charging response message carries the address information of the target charging function CHF network element.
And after the address information of the CHF network element of the target charging function is inserted into the charging response message, the CHF network element of the target charging function returns the charging response message.
A redirection (Location) field in the header of the charging response message records address information of the target charging function CHF network element, such as IP (Internet Protocol) address information of the target charging function CHF network element.
In step 140, the charging gateway CG matches the address information of the local charging function CHF network element with the address information of the target charging function CHF network element.
The address information of the local charging function CHF network element is pre-configured at the charging gateway CG.
In step 150a, if the matching is successful, the charging gateway CG judges the charging ticket corresponding to the charging request message as the local user charging ticket, and stores the charging ticket in the local charging ticket directory.

In a mobile internet application scenario, each of the charging request message and the charging response message in this embodiment is an HTTP (HyperText Transfer Protocol) Protocol.
The charging gateway receives a charging response message returned by the target charging function network element, wherein the charging response message carries the address information of the target charging function network element, and judges that the charging response message is a local user charging ticket or a roaming user charging ticket by matching the address information of the local charging function network element with the address information of the target charging function network element. Since the number of the local charging function network elements is far smaller than the number of the local SUPI number segments, for example, the number of the local charging function network elements is several (e.g., 2-4), and the number of the local SUPI number segments is thousands of, the influence on the performance of the charging gateway and the maintenance difficulty are greatly reduced.
The following describes a method for distinguishing charging tickets by taking a 5G SA roaming scene as an example. The request message of the roaming user is sent to the home network element through the visited network element to obtain the authentication information of the roaming user and the like.
Fig. 2 is a flowchart illustrating a method for distinguishing charging tickets according to another embodiment of the disclosure.
As shown in fig. 2, the method of this embodiment includes:
in step 200, after the 5G SA core network is deployed, IP address information of CHF network elements of the province is pre-configured on the CGs of the provinces, respectively.
At step 210, assuming the user is roaming in the visited province, the SMF sends a charging request message to charge the user to the CG, carrying the SUPI of the user.
In step 220, the CG forwards the charging request message to SCP-1 of the subscriber's visited province.
In step 230, the SCP-1 of the user's visited province matches the user SUPI carried in the charging request message with the pre-configured SUPI number field of the local province, if matching, it indicates that the user is the user of the local province, and forwards the charging request message to a CHF network element (not shown in the figure) of the local province (visited province), and if not matching, it indicates that the user is a roaming user, and forwards the charging request message to the SCP-2 of the user's home province.
At step 240, SCP-2 of the user's home province forwards the charging request message to CHF of the user's home province.
In step 250, the CHF of the user's home province returns a charging response message to SCP-2 of the user's home province, where the CHF of the user's home province inserts the IP address of the CHF of the user's home province in the Location field of the header of the charging response message, say 10.100.12.1, but not limited to the example given.
At step 260 SCP-2 of the subscriber's home province returns the charging response message to SCP-1 of the subscriber's visited province.
At step 270 the SCP-1 of the user's visited province returns the charging response message to the CG.
In step 280, the CG extracts the CHF IP address of the user belonging province in the Location field, matches the IP address information of the CHF network element of the local province (visiting province) configured in advance, finds that the IP address information is not matched, determines the charging ticket corresponding to the user's charging request message as a roaming user charging ticket, stores the charging ticket in a roaming charging ticket directory, and returns a charging response message to the SMF.
In addition, if matching is found, namely the Location field records the IP address information of the CHF network element of the province (visiting province), the charging bill corresponding to the charging request message of the user is determined as the charging bill of the user of the province, and the charging bill is stored in the charging bill directory of the province.
The charging gateway receives a charging response message returned by the target charging function network element, wherein the charging response message carries the address information of the target charging function network element, and judges that the charging response message is a charging ticket of the province user or a charging ticket of a roaming user by matching the address information of the province charging function network element with the address information of the target charging function network element. The CHF network element 320 is configured to generate a charging response message based on the charging request message from the charging gateway, and return the charging response message after inserting the address information of the CHF network element of the charging function in the charging response message.
The SCP330 is configured to receive a charging request message from the charging gateway, match the user permanent identity SUPI carried in the charging request message with the local user permanent identity SUPI number field, forward the charging request message to a local charging function CHF network element if the matching is performed, and forward the charging request message to a charging function CHF network element to which the user permanent identity SUPI belongs if the matching is not performed.
Fig. 4 illustrates a schematic diagram of a charging gateway in accordance with some embodiments of the present disclosure.
As shown in fig. 4, the charging gateway 310 of this embodiment includes: a memory 410 and a processor 420 coupled to the memory 410, the processor 420 being configured to perform the method for differentiating charging tickets in any of the foregoing embodiments based on instructions stored in the memory 410.
The billing gateway 310 may also include an input output interface 430, a network interface 440, a storage interface 450, and the like. These interfaces 430, 440, 450 and the connection between the memory 410 and the processor 420 may be, for example, via a bus 460. The input/output interface 430 provides a connection interface for input/output devices such as a display, a mouse, a keyboard, and a touch screen. 1. A method for distinguishing billing tickets, comprising:
a charging gateway CG receives a charging request message for charging a user, which is sent by a session management function SMF network element;
the charging gateway CG forwards the charging request message to a target charging function CHF network element through a service communication proxy SCP;
a charging gateway CG receives a charging response message returned by a target charging function CHF network element, wherein the charging response message carries the address information of the target charging function CHF network element;
the charging gateway CG matches the address information of a local charging function CHF network element with the address information of the target charging function CHF network element;
if matching, the charging gateway CG judges the charging ticket corresponding to the charging request message as the local user charging ticket,
if not, the charging gateway CG judges the charging ticket corresponding to the charging request message as the charging ticket of the roaming user.
2. Method according to claim 1, characterized in that the address information of the local charging function CHF network element is pre-configured at the charging gateway CG.

the system comprises a receiving and sending module, a service communication proxy SCP and a charging module, wherein the receiving and sending module is configured to receive a charging request message which is sent by a session management function SMF network element and used for charging a user, forward the charging request message to a target charging function CHF network element through the service communication proxy SCP, and receive a charging response message returned by the target charging function CHF network element, wherein the charging response message carries address information of the target charging function CHF network element;
