Abstract
The invention relates to a cosmetic pencil having a working end, a grip region and a combing or brushing device. According to the invention, it is provided that the combing or brushing means are located between the working end and the grip area.
Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to a cosmetic pencil having a working end, a grip region and a combing or brushing device.
Background
Cosmetic pens of the above type are known. Such a known cosmetic pencil is illustrated in fig. 1. Having a wiping device attached to the end opposite the working end. Thus, if the brush-and-wipe device is to be used after the working end has been used, the cosmetic pencil must be rotated. This rotation makes the makeup work more difficult.
Disclosure of Invention
It is therefore an object of the present invention to develop a pen of the above-mentioned type in such a way that its operation is simplified.
According to the invention, the set object is solved by a combing or brushing device located between the working end and the gripping area. In other words, the combing or brushing means is located on the same side of the hand holding the pen as the working end, which is why it is not necessary to rotate the pen when the brushing means is also used after the working end has been used.
According to a particularly preferred embodiment, the combing or brushing means are axially movable. This design is particularly useful if the working end can be sharpened. In this way, the combing or brushing device can be moved into position according to the length reduced by the sharpening. In this way, the pen can be located between the working end and the grip region, regardless of its length.
According to the invention, the combing or brushing device is also preferably held rotationally stationary. This means that it can be combed or brushed by rotation about the longitudinal axis of the pen.
According to another preferred embodiment of the invention, the combing or brushing means are cuff-shaped. In other words, the combing or brushing device, or at least the support structure for the teeth or bristles of the brushing or brushing device, at least partially surrounds the pen, so that the combing or brushing device as a whole is held on the pen.
According to another preferred embodiment of the invention, the combing or brushing means is pushed onto the shaft of the pen. The shaft of the pen is understood here to be the region from the working end to the end opposite the working end.
According to another preferred embodiment of the invention, it is provided that the teeth and/or bristles of the grooming or brushing device are arranged in at least one row, which surrounds the pen annularly or in parallel to the main axis of the pen.
Additionally or alternatively, it may be provided that the teeth and/or bristles of the grooming or brushing device are arranged in at least one row which circulates helically around the pen.
Thus, the arrangement of the individual teeth and/or bristles can be optimally designed according to the range of application.
Finally, according to a preferred embodiment of the invention, it is provided that at least one element of the row has a plurality of teeth and/or bristles.
In other words, according to this design, it is provided that the teeth and/or bristles are arranged together in groups, wherein the individual groups are in turn arranged in at least one row. For example, the groups may be in the shape of "dots".
Drawings
The invention will be explained in more detail below using preferred exemplary embodiments with reference to the drawings. Shown herein are:
fig. 1 is a conventional cosmetic pencil which, when held in three different positions by a hand,
fig. 2 is a partial view of a cosmetic pen according to a preferred exemplary embodiment of the present invention, when the pen is held in the hand,
figure 3 four cosmetic pens according to an exemplary embodiment of the invention,
figure 4 shows a long and a short cosmetic pencil with a sharpened working end, each with a movable brush-and-applicator device, an
FIG. 5 is two cosmetic pens, each according to another exemplary embodiment of the present invention.
Detailed Description
Fig. 1a shows a conventional cosmetic pencil, designated as a whole by reference numeral 110, having a working end 112 which is held in one hand to work with the working end 112. The brushing device 114 is located at an end opposite the working end 112. The portion of the barrel between the working end 112 and the wiping device 114 has a gripping area, indicated by reference numeral 116.
If the wiping device 114 is to be operated, the pen depicted in fig. 1 must be rotated corresponding to the depiction in fig. 1b, so that it is held according to the depiction in fig. 1 c.
In the case of the conventional cosmetic pencil according to fig. 1, the grip region 116 is located between the working end 112 and the brush-and-wipe device 114.
Fig. 2 shows an exemplary embodiment of a cosmetic pen according to the invention. The cosmetic pen as a whole is indicated with 10. Having a working end 12, a brushing device 14 and a gripping area 16. However, unlike conventional cosmetic brushes, the grip region 16 is not located between the working end 12 and the brush-and-wipe device 14, but is located behind the brush-and-wipe device 14 (as viewed from the working end 12). This means that if the brush-and-wipe arrangement 14 is to be used after the working end 12 has been used, it is not necessary to rotate the pen.
Fig. 3 shows four further exemplary embodiments of a cosmetic pencil according to the invention. Here, the brush-and-wipe devices 14 are each in the form of a collar and, as in the exemplary embodiment according to fig. 2, are held rotationally fixed on the cosmetic pencil.
Fig. 4 shows an exemplary embodiment of the invention with a sharpenable working end 12. Here, fig. 4a shows the cosmetic pen before initial use. Fig. 4b shows the situation after it has been sharpened a number of times. The cosmetic pencil is therefore shorter in the view according to fig. 4b than in the view according to fig. 4 a. In order to allow for the pen to be shortened by sharpening, it is provided in this exemplary embodiment that the brushing device 14 is held in an axially movable manner, see the arrow. This means that it can be located between the working end 12 and the grip region 16, irrespective of the overall length of the cosmetic pencil 10. Which is again designed in the shape of a cuff.
In the designs according to fig. 2 to 4, the brushing device shown in each case can also be designed as a comb device. The individual bristles and/or teeth of the grooming or brushing device can be arranged relative to one another in any desired manner.
However, in many instances it will be advantageous to arrange the bristles and/or teeth in at least one row that circulates helically around the pen 10. However, the rows may also be arranged in such a way that they surround the pen annularly or parallel to the pen main axis a (fig. 4).
These rows may also be interrupted, as is the case according to the exemplary embodiment of fig. 5 a. Here, gaps, one of which is designated by reference numeral 18, for example, remain between rows of bristles or teeth which are held parallel to the main axis a of the pen.
Fig. 5b shows an exemplary embodiment of a tuft 20 with several bristles, wherein several such tufts are annularly distributed around the pen. In other words, according to this embodiment, the bristles are grouped together in groups to form "dots", which in turn form a row that annularly surrounds the pen.
The features of the invention disclosed in the above description, the claims and the drawings may be essential for the realization of the invention in its various embodiments, individually or in any combination.
